The staff from beginning to end were very helpful. They patiently guided me through the self-check-in process and I did not wait long to be seen. I wish I could remember the name of the medical assistant as he was extremely welcoming, patient, helpful, and professional. The PA was very clear and I was confident in her evaluation. The discharge process was clear and quick.
My experience here was just ok and my complaint is more about the post care. I was told Id have my lab results in 2-3 days. On the 3rd day Id heard nothing so I phoned. Calls were really backed up and I left my number to receive a callback to keep my place in line. Six hours later I get a call back but missed the call. Phoned the next day to finally speak with someone who said the lab is backed up and it would take 5 days. Thats just bad business especially when you are dealing with someones health. Do better with communicating wait times to your patients. Almost a week to get lab results is ridiculous especially if any treatment is needed. I will only go here for really basic medical needs.
Great clinic to go to. Have had a positive experience each visit, from shaving off my fingertips using a vegetable chopper (treated and sent home in under an hour, using best in wound treatment. Bandages stayed in place and fingers completely healed within a month with no further intervention required) to getting blood tests and reports effortlessly and easily. Highly recommended.
An incredible group of people and a very clean/professional facility. They are doing an amazing job during a very turbulent time in history. Thank you to Herschel, Michelle, Gabby, and all the staff that make City MD the BEST urgent care company in the USA! Im proud to be a customer and will continue to send family/friends to your team. Keep up all the tremendous work and thank you for truly being messengers from the Lord above!
Went in for a rapid Covid test at 9am. Signed in easily & was put on a virtual queue. They texted when they were ready, and gave me a 1/2 hour grace period to come back. Every person - receptionists, doctor, nurse - was gracious & answered questions patiently. This is the 3rd time Ive used CityMD, and the 3rd location. Very well organized, highly recommend.
The staff here are super friendly, helpful and professional. The wait time was less than 5 minutes, and PA Staci was very detailed at explaining the testing and extremely helpful at offering advices. The clinic is very clean. We are glad that we came to this City MD site.
I was seen within minutes of registering at their reception kiosk on a busy weekday. My primary care doctor was unavailable and I needed immediate care so I stopped in. I had taken my mother there for an injury years prior and she was treated with kindness and respect by the doctor. I had the same experience. The nurse and doctor were efficient and knowledgeable. It’s a great neighborhood practice. Relieved to see it’s still open.
The reception staff have a bad attitude, I came into the urgent care centre after slicing into my finger. My first thought when I left my apartment and rushed to an urgent care center was not oh let me grab a mask. When I came in I asked to see a doctor and asked for a mask, I was told they cannot provide me with a mask and I would have to leave to go to the store to buy one and come back......yes you are reading this correctly, instead of treating a patient who was in urgent need of care I was told to go buy a mask. DISGSUTING behavior. After I kicked up a fuss someone went out back and got me a mask, this was after I asked 3 times! A staff member on the end then decided to make a snide comment about people coming in without a mask. Overall I was disgusted by them, they should all be trained better and CityMD should do a much better job to support patients like myself who are in urgent need of care. The nurse and doctor however were both fine, especially the nurse who had an amazing attitude, I have no complaints there, I will say though that the room I was in was pretty warm, so maybe look to improve the AC or airflow. Sadly I didnt catch the names of any of the staff at the reception desk, but if it were up to me they would all be let go, there are far better people out there who can provide the kind of professional service an urgent care centre like this should provide, and who will do justice to the great medical team.
Came by for a COVID19 test. Walked in around 4pm on a Thursday. Place was nearly empty. Staff greeted me as soon I walked in the door. Had to do check-in through a kiosk. Gave my email for results. Sat and waited about 10 minutes then was called in. The doctor and aid was kind and professional. Was finished in about 5-10 minutes. No complaints.
This place is a joke, I visited to see a doctor about a terrible cold I have he barely checked me and laughed off my symptoms, the front desk had a rude person who gave me note for the day and claimed the doctor said I couldn’t be cleared for more days when I’m clearly sick. I didn’t believe her at all! Stay away from this city md and if you feel attitude from an employee walk away while you can. They need to teach these employees to be compassionate to their patience. I was treated like someone with little to no importance to them. Maybe because I’m Hispanic and wasn’t dressed up to par? I am sick and feel worse leaving here. Going to see a real doctor now.
I had a very good experience here. I appreciate that CityMD had a greeter at the door, helping to direct the socially-distanced set up, and that there were sanitizing stations interspersed. Checking in was simple, and I had a very short wait time. Everyone was both professional and helpful, and the doctor was both kind and friendly, immediately putting me at ease. I definitely recommend this CityMD.
Everyone was quick and efficient. The wait was shorter than I anticipated given how crowded the waiting area was. The facilities were clean and bright, medical equipment seemed to be the most up-to-date. The physicians assistant and doctor were personable and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommended!
The service is great & the clinic is pristine in terms of cleanliness. The Drs. & assistants ensure all COVID protocols are followed (use of PPE, sanitize hands before examination, limit of patients inside)) service is quick. I felt safe. I have visited this location twice in the last 2 months.
I was at CityMD for a Covid testing and a quick procedure. The front desk was very courteous and the two medical assistants that attended me were excellent. Rabina was very patient and Kim, the phlebotomist had feather hands. Dr. Dimitrova, who handled, my case was very thorough, patient, and let me express myself. I feel like many times Drs. do not let the patient speak enough and ask all of the pertinent questions. Dr. Dimitrova listened and answered all of my questions.
DO NOT waste your time if you need real medical help, aside from a covid test. Have been here multiple times in the past but never was I treated with such insensitivity, I wasn’t even medically treated. The doctor was so rude and hostile, the nurse didn’t even have a chance to take my vitals, and my very real medical needs were dismissed.I was there for non covid related issues, on line before the facility opened at 8:30am with about 20 people who were all getting covid tests. Seems very apparent to me they are no longer interested in patient care, now that the city is paying facilities for the tests they administer. I was dismissed without any kind of medical professionalism or compassion, I left in tears with the way the doctor spoke to me; I don’t even recall her giving me her name but she was blonde, blue eyes and way too much shimmery eye make up. The the nurse looked mortified and apologized to me after the doctor left, spending less than 5minutes with me. I don’t think I’ll ever return to this location.
We are from out of town and needed rapid covid tests done for a program our kids were participating in in NYC. Everyone was friendly, we weren’t rushed, they made sure if we had any questions they were answered, and the wait time wasn’t long. Would definitely recommend!
I went in on a whim due to the fact my job (in the service bar industry) required I get tested before starting my shift (the same day), and the man that took cake of me was extremely efficient, fast, kind and super sweet. I went in on a wednesday, 10/28 for the rapid covid test and got my results within less than an hour by email. The rest of the staff was kind and very helpful. Highly recommend.
I was so scared walking in as I tend to get this way going to the doctor. However, the staff was kind and patient. My doctor, who I believe was Sarah, was an absolute angel. She comforted me and guided me through the whole visit. She did an excellent job at helping me to feel relaxed and safe. Im so grateful for her and all the staff at City MD.Update: Came back to this location, scared as usual since I struggle with White Coat Syndrome. The nurse, Lee, was so gentle and kind with me. He helped keep me calm and did his best to let me know everything was ok. The PA who I think was named Michelle was also really sweet, bubbly and direct. My 5 star review still stands :)
My first experience ever using urgent care was amazing , the staff and doctors are very friendly and professional . They get straight to the point On how your feeling , do there job quick and shows that they care for there patients . I would recommend friends , family and anyone to come to this facility . A+ RATING
If you are given Dr. Anthony Huff, ask to see another doctor. This guy has a horrible attitude. He came in the room with a scowl and had a horrific bedside manner. He truly should not be dealing with the public. Never have I ever had the displeasure to deal with someone so completely unhelpful in the medical profession. Avoid like the plague.
Went to get a COVID test. Took advantage of the virtual line option (see website for more details on what to do). It was fast and efficient. Staff was competent and professional. One of the easiest and most comfortable nasal swabs Ive had (aka they didnt even touch that little dangly thing in the back of my throat! Praise be).
Went in for a covid test and was surprised at how efficient and polite everyone was. they put you on a waiting list and send you a text when your turn is up and you have 30 min to get back. Its a good solution to waiting in line or never being able to get an appointment. would be nice if there were a way to get on the list without going on (maybe there is and I just dont know how). doc and nurse very knowledgable and helpful. If you need a rapid this is probably the easiest solution. if you want a pcr, just hit Visit Healthcare on 21st and 6ave. Youll be in and out of there in 2 minutes - they just dont have rapid and you need ins.
Amazing front of house staff! These ladies are very welcoming with a wonderfully strong personalities that as a new-comer or a veteran at CityMD Chelsea you always feel like you’re in excellent hands from the front to the back this dynamic team is who I want on my side when I’m ill or just worried. No judgment...well maybe but you will feel right at home at CityMD, Chelsea.
Anyone else feels like they acquired a positive covid result after visiting this location? I was perfectly fine and healthy when I took the test. I was testing to travel to see family for NYE but got sick 4 days after taking the test at this location and the PCR came back positive. I have 101 fever today. Something about my covid test there wasnt right and has made me suspicious. The lady doctor seems to be mad at the world and she pushed the swab stick all the way up my nostrils for 10+ seconds while pushing my head back all the way. It was extremely painful and mind you, I have taken the corona pcr test several times in the past but this was ABUSE!!! I felt pain in my nostrils the rest of the night and got fever & flu symptoms 4 days after the test. Anyone else walked in healthy and days later got sick after experiencing this kind of abuse? Something isnt right.
Ive had a similarly negative experience with COVID-testing at this location as one of the other reviewers, but with another physician. I was seen by Tiffany Reavis, DO, who basically scolded me in a very patronizing manner for using up a COVID test that someone else who actually needed it could have used. As soon as she entered the room, she began speaking to me very slowly with her eyes wide open as if speaking to a poorly-behaved child and did not even bother to introduce herself. To provide some context that she chose not to inquire about, I work at a medical office where I see hundreds of patients who are usually aged 65+. I am required by my workplace to get tested every two weeks and this weekend in particular, I wanted to go visit my parents whom I hadnt seen in almost a year and I wanted to be doubly sure that I did not have the virus. I had also been coughing and feeling incredibly fatigued that day, which was why I wanted to go get tested a day earlier than I normally would. When I tried to explain my situation, she kept cutting me off to inform me that she was speaking as an ER DOCTOR (implying that everything that came out of her mouth was purely factual). She first told me that as an ER DOCTOR, she saw hundreds of COVID positive patients and she still did not get tested regularly. (..okay ?) This was said in response to me expressing my worries for my elderly patients. She then told me that it was nearly impossible for me to spread COVID to my parents while staying with them at their home as long as I didnt show symptoms. (??) In my culture, lots of foods are often shared during mealtimes so there are plenty opportunities for cross-contamination.She then continued to berate me on how if I were being socially irresponsible and meeting up with friends, going out to restaurants, partying, etc. (she went on listing activities for at least a minute), it was my fault and I shouldnt be trying to manage the consequences of my irresponsible actions by getting COVID-tested. I have NOT met up with a SINGLE friend or acquaintance since late February and after my 11-hour shifts at work, I usually go straight home to rest with the only detour being to the grocery store. She had somehow made all of these assumptions about me without even hearing me speak for more than 15 seconds. She also told me if I really wanted to use up COVID tests, to go to state covid-19 testing sites instead because CityMD was for people with emergencies. I had already done my research on those state testing sites but their hours are always between around 9am to 2pm. I work from 8:30am to around 7:30pm M-F. CityMD was the only reasonable option for me to get tested to meet my workplace requirements. If you dont want patients to come for COVID tests, dont offer COVID testing! Dont advertise free COVID-19 testing and then berate patients for coming for COVID tests.I did not learn in medical school that it was okay for doctors to make assumptions about their patients and treat them as if they were inferior because of the two additional letters that follow their names. Yes, not even EMERGENCY ROOM DOCTORS should be looking down on their patients and providing unfounded and unwarranted medical advice.I hope Tiffany Reavis, DO was just having a bad day and venting and not providing this kind of poor, disrespectful treatment and poor medical advice to her hundreds of patients daily.
Thank you guys! I went there to get my Covid test. It was quite waiting time, but to my surprise it didn’t take long. The stuff is super friendly and helpful, the check-in process was very easy and fast, the facility is perfect maintained, and I received email with result even before I got home. Great job. Highly recommended!
I had a good a experience on 1/1 to get treated for an eye infection. I came on 1/4 again, still with infection, to see a doc. Maybe the diagnosis or the prescription were inaccurate? That happens. They insisted I must pay again. I walked out. This is a poor business decision, Ill take my business to my primary physician instead. Good place for holidays and weekend only.
I haven’t been to CitiMD in a while but every time I have gone, I have had wonderful experiences with thoughtful, smart Doctors until tonight.I’ve experienced severe exhaustion and a sore throat for over 3 weeks and after a round of antibiotics, tea, rest and not feeling well, I was in the neighborhood and stopped in for to share my symptoms and maybe get some answers. The front desk and medical assistants (Fatima and the medical assistant who asked me questions prior to meeting with the dr.) were all wonderful. The doctor, Dr. Cavallo wasn’t and I was truly disappointed. He appeared very cocky and sure of himself without any real substance to what he was saying and a definitive mansplainer.I tried to share that I was a competitive athlete who does regular bloodwork and has a good understanding of my body and my seasonal allergies and that this was different and unusual. I shared all my symptoms, what I have taken and my concerns. Dr. Cavallo didn’t listen at all and sat in a chair and proceeds to lecture/TELL me it could be stress, not enough sleep or a Change in blankets or pillows. I patiently listened and again shared I run 70 miles a week, see sports doctors and nutritionists on a regular basis but still have a very extreme tightness in my chest. He basically cut me off, repeated himself and said if you want we can take blood work and a mono test (which I suggested) but went back to his theory (without looking in ears, eyes or barely throat) that it was a blanket, pet or change of some kind and made sure to tell me if I had any question to contact him as he is head medical director *eye roll* I gave up, agreed to a blood test and left and will make an appointment with my primary care tomorrow.First time I’ve had poor service at CitiMD. Most of the doctors are thoughtful, humble, ask a lot of questions (as opposed to doing all the talking) and are just awesome! I’ll still return to CitiMD for medical emergencies but not at the 23rd Street location.
First of all the place is super clean. I went on a Wednesday morning with a fractured rib around 10 AM and was in and out within 30 minutes. The took me within 3 minutes of signing in, the assistant took my blood pressure and some information, the doctor came in, sent me for X-Rays, came back with results all within 30 minutes. Virtually no wait time and everyone was super competent and professional. 5 stars.
I visited this CityMD location on West 23rd Street on a morning in December of 2019. Every person on staff that I interfaced with treated me with high levels of compassion, courtesy, and professionalism. If all medical personnel were this high caliber, life would be so much nicer.I highly recommend this practice for any urgent care needs.
Excellent place for urgent / non hospitalized care! This was one of the best health care experiences I have ever had. I woke up in the morning with unpleasant symptoms that called for a doctors visit. I found that no Doctors office could do a same day visit except for CityMD. I walked in that morning, filled out paperwork, handed them my insurance and was in the examining room in 15 minutes! No wait and tons of smiles from the front desk! The doctor was not condescending (which is one of my pet peeve about some health care professionals) and very helpful. The front desk had a printout prepared of my diagnosis and prescription. The use some great technology here to improve customer relations and efficiency of their office.
Got my result in half hour. Unfortunately the nurse that took my covid cotton tip sample treated my sinuses like a dart board and then gave the swab a full 3 inch radial exorcism..still bleeding. Have had covid tests done before and this was beyond -like total passive aggression. Never again.
This placed saved our vacation and my sanity! Visiting from out of town, suffered through an awful stomach bug overnight (curled up on our hotel bathroom floor kind of night). Came here in a daze of desperation. The front desk was so nice and helpful. I waited less than 2 minutes before being brought in to a room. Was given IV fluids and meds and sent on my way within an hour. Incredibly EFFICIENT and kind clinician, Dr. Hong!
Staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. This was my first time going into a CityMD location. Itll also be my last.I came in with some flu/infection-like symptoms, and they ran the classic flu and strep tests -- both came back negative. The nurse said that I didnt have the bad flu.The doctor came in about 10 minutes later, asked some similar questions, looked at my numbers, and then prescribed me Tamiflu, an antiviral medication to prevent flu symptoms (Strange, right? Considering I didnt actually have the flu). I was in shambles and not in a position to contest the prescription. I really just wanted to feel better. For the next 5 days, my body tried to fight off a bacterial, upper respiratory infection that CityMD misdiagnosed, and I didnt have the proper medication. If Id be correctly diagnosed, as I was after visiting a real PCP, I wouldve been feeling fine a couple days later. Instead, I was sporting a 102 fever, on and off, for about 4 days.Needless to say, I will be trying to get my $75 copay back and will never go to another CityMD location.
The most convenient walk-in urgent care clinic in Manhattan. I came around 9am for an eye infection and was seen within minutes. If you don’t have insurance, you’ll need to pay $125 to be seen by a physician or nurse for a diagnosis (I only had to pay that price for my visit). Then I went to the pharmacy next door and picked up my prescription.*If you are having a non-medical emergency, CityMD is much cheaper (and faster) than going to the ER.*This review is based solely on my experience during my visit on 01/18/2019.
Beware of the cost: $240 for 3 minutes of the doctors time (in my insurances network). When I called up asking why they were 3x as expensive as other urgent cares I was told that was their contracted rate with anthem. Your reference point should be the competition (aka other urgent cares), not a contracted rate you wrangled out of my insurer who clearly doesnt have my wallet as their best interest. After complaining they brought the bill down to around $200. Still unreasonably high considering I havent paid more than $80-$85 in network for an urgent care ever. The place is clean and the doctor was knowledgeable, but if I provided good service and charged my client 3 times the market rate Id lose my client and get bad a review.
This place is a joke. 10+ days for covid test results. You will have infected half the city by the time you get the results back! I’ve been tested three more times at other clinics in the last 7 days and have all the results back already. 10 days after my initial test at cityMD and I STILL don’t have those results back! Unbelievable.
INCREDIBLE SERVICE.this has been my Godsend for the past 3 years. i have a lot of medical stuff going on at all times and the amount of visits i have accumulated at this specific location has been endless. every time i come in with an emergency, the front desk and nps have been my saving grace.there was this one time where my blood sugar levels were in the danger zone and my body couldnt stop itself from shaking and (ill spare you the details, but it was scary!). i needed to go to the ER and they helped me select nearby ERs and not just random ones, but places they knew for sure i would be taken care of immediately and not deal with dozens of screaming people. i have this team to thank for the many occasions i needed medications, answers and advice. i have thanked their team leads every chance i get and i have nothing negative to say about CityMD.
CITYMD is the worst place you could go to take a COVID test at.I went on December 14 to take the COVID test at and it is now TWO WEEKS later and I yet to receive my results. I have called them and asked them politely when I could expect them, and I’m met with the same answer, “7 business days”. It is now more than 7 business days, two weeks. I work at an office where I cannot work until I receive a negative result. However, I have not received ANY result. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated because not only do I not know if I am positive or negative, I cannot work until I know for sure. And they have not given me anything yet. I need to work to support my household and I can’t do that when they’re taking MORE THAN TWO WEEKS TO FIVE RESULTS. at that point imagine how many people a person could infect? Unbelievable. If I could, I would give 0 stars.
Are I couldnt get a quick appointment at my doctors office, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and efficiently I was seem. I was there less than 1/2 hour. The doctor talked with me and never rushed me when I asked questions. Overall I would definitely go there again for a non-critical medical care.
I’ve been to this place 3x over the last 8 days asking for anything that could help treat my illness before it got worse. They have basically told me nothing was wrong and prescribed a zpac. I now have pneumonia and ended up in a way worse position than if they would have been willing to listen and actually treat me as a patient. If you are truly sick, I recommend finding a real doctor because this place is a total scam as they are in it for the quick money but aren’t willing to do what needs to be done to help you get better.
I am VERY surprised that this place got such good reviews. I took my 19 month old son there last night because he has a terrible caugh and fever. The doctor tells me that my son is perfectly fine and refused to prescribe anything. I am no doctor but I can tell that my son is very sick, and I politely explained that this is not normal at all, and he had the face to tell me is all fine. I just took him to his regular clinic and it turns out he has ear infection on both ears and also a very bad throat infection. In top of everything, their copay is much higher than other urgent cares. At the end what a waste of time, what a waste of night, my poor baby had to spend another night untreated because of that degenerate doctor!!!I am VERY upset that I could seriously take them to court!!!
Would not recommend getting your covid test here. NYC says most providers get results back within 48 hours, and CityMD says “at least 7 business days”. It’s been 6 days and no results. Also two of their employees left the building not wearing masks while I was there to get a test
The doctor refused to help me, noted a few things on her computer so it made it seem like they worked on me, and sent me on my way. Patient is complaining of pain, but cannot be treated. They didnt even bother examining me at all. They absolutely tried to charge me for my visit though. I left and went to the emergency room. Dont call yourself a medical provider if youre not providing medical treatment.
Ive now had a few experiences with CityMD due to an unfortunate incident with a kitchen knife. The office is clean, staff are professional and helpful, and Ive always been seen within five minutes of arriving. On my last visit to get stitches removed I was seen by Dr. Zebuda. He was hands down the best doctor Ive ever encountered. Not only was he conscientious when taking out the stitches (which were still a bit tender), but also very thorough in his assessment of the wound. Thanks CityMD and Dr. Zebuda.
I would like to thank Dr. M. Walker and his assistant for quickly working with me on Friday 5/12. I had a major food allergy reaction and I was in desperate need for medical attention. My daughter suggested to walk in to the citymd on 23rd street. They quickly attented to me and Dr .Walker calm me down and rapidly started medical care.I couldnt breathe and my chest was so tight. I never experience this reaction in my lifetime. So thank you for your kindness and help.I recommend you anytime
I have a plugged ear that i have been living with for months and went to see a doctor about it at this clinic. He met with me for 5 minutes, said he didnt know what was wrong and that I should see my GP. His utter lack of understanding was both surprising and deeply disappointing.
I am a disabled cancer survivor patient . The hospital where I go regularly did not have a uncall doctor . I am a patient at one of the 🔝hospital in Manhattan . I know good doctors . I also worked in healthcare for close to 10 yrs . The staff at the front desk was extremely nice and polite . I waited less than 20 mins . I saw Dr Walker he was very professional and caring. Its a good place to go 👍🏽❌⭕️😊
CityMD saved my life. I have been to CityMD on 88th and Broadway 7 times between March 1st -15th. They performed emergency surgery on March 1st by incising and draining an abscess on my thigh. The doctor was quick, compassionate, and thorough. He had to pick out the bacteria which had compartmentalized with tweezers! This created a one inch deep hole in my leg. I was in a lot of pain but he kept telling me that I was doing a great job. They gave me crutches, sent the bacteria to a lab, prescribed two antibiotics, and oxycodone. They packed the wound with guaze and I had to keep coming back for repacking. They did not charge me for the emergency surgery or any of the follow-up appointments. It turns out the infection was MRSA. They later did a nasal swab to find out if I was a carrier of MRSA, and even though I wasnt re-prescribed more antibiotics including topical, nasal, and more oral just to make sure the bacteria was completely out of my system. Three weeks later I was MRSA free, fully healed and running a track workout! From crutches to a track workout in three weeks. Very little wait time. One time we did have to wait and they passed out snacks in the lobby.
Apprehensive doctor, Diane Giorgi, who seemed unsure of what to do or how to talk to a patient. she should not be working as a doctor--useless--wouldnt give a prescription for my IBS medication with some ridiculous excuse. makes me wonder if she was a real doctor.the nurse check my vitals but didnt give me the results.the reception staff were oki wasted $50 copay and my time!!!i would recommend the citymd on 14th were everyone is professional and the doctor is not afraid to do his job
They saved my life i had a severe asthma attack i walk in i sat Down for 1min i let them know i feel like i was gonna pass out they took my insurance card and Id and registered me a nurse came and took me to a room right away even help me with my bags grab a chair for me to sit because i couldn’t walk straight the doctor came in right away gave me medicine to open my Lungs up and oxygen and let me stay as long as i wanted so I’ll be able to walk out of there feeling ok to go home this place is Amazing and brought me to tears because of the compassion and kindness they shown to me.
Walked-in with a visible limp from a motorbike accident and was told that the wait would only be 20 mins. An hour later I notify the front desk that I have to leave and they have the audacity to ask me if I told the medical staff that I was cancelling the appointment - to which I could only respond - no, I have not been seen by anyone during the hour I sat waiting to be seen and then I proceeded to walk out. A few minutes later a front desk person runs after me on the street (I didnt get far because I have open wounds on my leg) and asked me what my name was....it was as if I hadnt just given them my name, photo id and insurance card...smh.Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place to anyone who needs urgent care unless you have time to wait in pain all day....There are other, more responsive and better managed urgent health care facilities in this city so go find care elsewhere before considering wasting your time and $$$ here.
I came here once and got Dr Flores who was wonderful. Today I came in and got an uncaring, brash, and rude doctor. He seemed totally unsympathetic to what I was going through, even critical of me? It was really humiliating and I doubt I would come here again unless Dr. Flores is in. That was truly awful.
I went to the CityMD on 23 street on Wednesday because I was in a lot of pain in my forehead and sinus area. I explained to the doctor and even suggested that I may have a sinus infection. The doctor insisted that it was just allergies and prescribed a nose spray. Today Thursday I woke up in extreme pain and could not go to work. Decided to go to the CityMD in Forest Hills Queens where I was seen very quickly and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. Is amazing how two offices from the same company provide such different patient care.

2021-12-26Very fast and efficient. However, saw many people come in for COVID tests only to get rejected. Id highly recommend going in the hour they open to get a spot in the virtual line where they text you 30 min before your appointment. Thats the only way you can guarantee a spot for a test.

2021-08-24Faster than expected. The team was very nice and helpful. Last weekend, I walked in to make an appointment. A couple of hours later, received confirmation text. Waited 10 mins to see a doctor. All fast and efficient. Highly recommend to visit.

2021-05-17I have visited CityMD (a few branches, but mostly 23rd St, Manhattan) for urgent care over the past several years. Every time I go, I am overwhelmingly impressed by their skill, kindness, compassion, efficiency, thoroughness, and care. I leave feeling helped, knowledgeable about my condition, and confident in both the diagnosis and follow-up care. I really am blown away by their excellent care every single time I visit. I wish all facilities were run this well!

2021-08-29Arrived at the office at before 4 and told to join a virtual queue even though I wasnt looking for a covid test. At 6:30 I asked how much longer did I have to wait and then I was informed I shouldnt have been in the virtual queue to see a doctor and I had waited for nothing. I registered on the iPad and was seen shortly after. In the consultation, which lasted 5 minutes I was made to feel like a number and not a person. The staff were more interested in getting me out than listening to my concerns. Handed a prescription and left feeling like I had bothered them. Not reflective of previous experiences I have had with City MD. Very disappointed
