I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to based on the excellent care I received from Dr. Kamiella Dimitrova and the PA who took care of me (I unfortunately do not have her name). I was experiencing occasional sharp pain and wasnt sure if it qualified for an Urgent Care visit.Both Dr. Dimitrova and her PA took my pain seriously and correctly pinpointed what she suspected the cause to be. With her knowledge, urgency and insistence that I go to the ER, I was able to take steps towards recovery for an issue I was previously unaware of. Thank you for taking my pain seriously when I was not, your proactiveness made all the difference.
This CityMD is full of extremely kind staff, I love them and appreciate them. The service was professional, they did the best they could with me and just sent me over to a dermatologist. Unfortunately I was told at the time of my visit I would not have to pay anything because my insurance was covered by the golden rule. Four months later I was billed $129.Theyre good people at CityMD but please make sure you get in writing that you dont have to pay anything because I was lied to and had to give up $129.
Extraordinary care from the front desk check in, Alice Hong DO and Elaina. Timely, friendly, professional and was able to accurately diagnose and treat me. Extremely pleased and highly recommend.
Arrived at this location at 7:50 pm hoping to get treatment for a UTI. Doors were closed. We pointed to our clock and the receptionist reluctantly opened. Expecting we would leave, she said that we could come in, but it would be $225 and directed me to the self-check in. Half way through checking in, she said their doctor and PA were leaving and they wouldn’t be able to see me. I was shocked. If everyone is leaving at 8, stop taking patients at 7:30 pm! This happened tonight, April 1st, at West 39th and Broadway. Just awful.
The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The facility was clean.
Thanks Tyrone and staff! I’ve had nothing but awesome experiences here after being tested several times. They make it so easy and low pressure that I just go here and make the trip rather than anywhere near my house. All the aids and doctors are great, everyone is so normal and personable. They make you feel comfortable about this whole situation and really take the time to address any questions and concerns you have. I never ever wait since I walk in during off peak times but they will text you if you want when you are up next so you don’t have to wait on a line in the cold! My entire staff comes here since this location is really just an awesome place and makes us all feel welcome!Thanks again Tyrone,Drinks on me after this is all done and said for!
Not a good experience. I could hear them talking about me in the next room. Stating it’s always the ones that come at the end of the day and than they continued talking about me. Not very professional. The ladies at the front desk were nice and the scribe/ medical assistant was also very patient friendly. However the doctor seemed to be lacking empathy and bedside manners. I also received a bill after being told the service would be free of charge.
This is by far the best location of cityMD that i have been to. Everyone who works here is so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Brianna has a stink attitude shes more interested in whats happening in her phone. The phone call was important to She basically gave up finding my info and didnt know how to find it even if the patient doesnt have their card theres always a way to find insure info. The woman next to her in the corner seat had to do it. Also I corrected BRIANNA when she pronounced my name wrong if I would have called her BRIAN she would have understood me better. Yes it matters!!
Please don’t lie about wait times. I called in to see if there is any wait, staff said no one is waiting, but in a few minutes when I arrived, I saw 5 ppl waiting. I ended up waiting for 1 hour and still not seeing doctor and leaving. throughout this wait, whenever I asked when I can be seen, staff said “you’re next” which was a lie. If you don’t know, say you don’t know. I could have visited other location to get immediate medical assistance. Please Don’t lie on wait times.

*My visit went so smoothly, Id never had such a positive experience with a health facility before! The nurse who did my covid test took every safety precaution and was still very friendly and talked me through taking the dreaded covid test for the first time. It really was not that bad!!! I was in and out in 30 minutes (counting the wait to get the results as well).*Edit - Dont know what happened to the staff they had before but everyone working there as of June 2021 is absolutely rude - manager included. Doctors are great, get better staff.
The smiles and greetings as soon as walk in the door is warm and lets you know youre in Great and Caring hands..
I have gone there several times for a rapid Covid test and they are very efficient, quick and polite. It feels like no time at all and they truly have the nicest nurses working there.
The wait at this location for a rapid covid test was not as long as others, but still over 3 hours. They will stop letting people in (effectively pausing the line) for a few hours during peak times, to allow the staff to catch up with demand. Everyone that worked at this site was super friendly and gave realistic expectations on wait time/result time.
It was a really nice experience, I didnt have to wait for too long, the staff was very professional, the Physician answered all my questions, cleared all my concerns and gave me peace of mind. Totally recommended!
Excellent excellent service and experience for all of our employees that visit. Our staff is encouraged to get test regularly and Tyrone and his staff are always so welcoming and friendly! I would recommend this location to everyone I know! but then id have to wait and I never do so...this is as far as it goes 😂❤
The virtual line is an excellent option as opposed to waiting outside in the cold. You receive a text and from that text you can see how many patients are ahead of you. When its your turn youll receive a text to let you know to return to the office but you have 30 minutes to get back or you lose your spot.
While lines for COVID tests are long everywhere, I felt this team did their best to get people in and out in an orderly manner. I didnt feel rushed and every one I saw was very nice and let me know what was going on at every turn.
Outstanding and efficient service.They have the most beautiful nurse (Maria to be exact), and state of the art technology. Was in and out in no time.

In and out. I got there 30 min before the office opened and there was no line.... which is a complete 180 degree difference from some offices Flatbush Brooklyn and Cobble Hill Brooklyn. They opened at 9am and I was out by 912am and received my negative result via email by 928pm... awesome! Will be go back.
This location was well staffed and I felt like everyone was friendly snd efficient. I got on the waiting list a f received my text to return almost exactly at the time I expected it. No long waits outside in the cold!
One of the best of 3 locations I have visited. Spotless, quality service and most importantly, has a human element in their approach to support people in need of medical help.

2022-07-09Nice, relatively fast and human! Recommended. The personnel has been nice and comprehensive even if I asked to get visited around their closing hour. The doctor examined me carefully, he cared about my concerns and (finally) he had an human approach. I was treated with respect and I am happy about the service.

2022-05-04Seriously the most pleasant urgent care visit Ive had. Staff was so nice and friendly and wait time was more than reasonable. It wasnt super busy, but still - you can tell it was a very well-run organization. Highly recommend.

2022-03-11Front of office staff was very helpful and accommodating. Not only that but the younger girl who took my blood and the doctor seemed very dedicated to making sure I felt better. Went in for a quick check up and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Overall, I highly recommend this location and big thank you to the staff.

2022-08-26I went to this CityMD in March 2021, and in Aug 2022 they sent me a bill for $300 for that visit. 18 months later is a ridiculous amount of time to wait to bill someone. The staff were kind and helpful during my visit but their back office is a complete disaster. Strongly recommend you go to a different urgent care provider to avoid surprise bills.

2022-07-15Highly efficient and very competent care from all staff that I interacted with. The doctor identified the cause of persistent pain in my foot quickly and I left the clinic literally cured. The care could not have been better.

2022-08-03I came in with a sprained foot/ankle. The reception is extremely friendy and helpful which makes the experience even better. Ive been to this location couple times and had consistent pleasant experience.I have been seen by DR. JAMES J SACCA twice at this location. He was very attentive, personable and most importantly explained all details of my diagnosis and care. You can sense his care for the patients and in his work. We need more doctos like him!

2022-07-28I fell and hit my orbital bone at 7:15 AM a month ago running to catch my bus to work. Dr. Mohan saw me immediately on arrival approximately 8:15 AM & couldnt have been more attentive and reassuring. Tania at the front desk, too. She contacted my insurance to confirm my coverage for a CT scan appointment secured that very day while I sat by resting. Later that afternoon Dr. Mohan called to say she viewed the CT scan and gave her recommendations. Amazing quality of service I dont even get from my GP facility. I cant wait to fall on my face again so I can return for their aide! LOL! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
