I have been a member of Civic hall for quite some time now and can attest that this organization does some stellar work. I am not a tech guy but this organization helps bridge the work between the tech community and civic organizations.
Went here for a Baruch College event. Very nice large space, great for both intimate networking and group events.
This is the best place to meet and work with those that care about civic tech. The staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of community events every week.
Awesome community of smart and caring people trying to use technology to improve society. Great atmosphere, great facilities, awesome people.
Has a fantastic event space thats separate from the coworking space, everybodys friendly and super helpful!

2016-05-23Great space for talks. The facilities are modern and up to date. The room we were in has good acoustics and lighting. No elevated seating, but Im sure thats because the space has multiple programming needs.

2020-12-08*Seems to be closed during covid, writing for past experiences.Lots of non-profit tech startups working here on daily basis. A great place to network and get to know the projects these amazing people are working on. Civic Hall does a wonderful job connecting talents and startups, and offering a supportive office space that is open and empowering.

2016-04-23Civic Hall is a great co-working and event space. We used it for a company hackathon and the combination of open spaces, breakout areas, large event hall, and conference rooms was perfect. The catering wasn’t amazing, but the space itself was great. It’s also convenient to a multitude of good coffee shops and some restaurants nearby for when you need to get outside for a break. The open spaces have nice natural lighting and encourage productivity.

2016-01-27A unique and wonderful addition to NYC. Civic Hall provides a work community for people who work in civic tech and other socially positive endeavors as well as hosting interesting events in their event space. The location is great and for those interested in cultivating a sense of community while working on their own civic tech or related projects, its hard to beat.

2016-10-06Really nice venue. Ive been here several times for community meetings. The sound system works well, theres lots of space, and it feels new and welcoming.

2017-10-05What a interesting concept- almost like a WeWork but in a different vein. Went for a talk and it was very open and accommodating to non-members which was nice. Kudos for the events.
