Positive: The staff was very accommodating. I came to visit elmira to see my elderly grandmother. We were very short on time and there was much to do. The hotel did a great job creating an environment for us to sit and have a quick meal. Our room was wonderful.
Positive: Front desk staff Negative: The hotel is old. Our first night had very loud guest. Called front desk to report. Noise continued until 1:30 am. The door into bathroom never stayed closed. The vent in the bathroom you could see into the next room. Privacy Issue!!!

Upon our arrival they seemed to be giving a disabled couple a rough time. Rhey paid with a gift card and the money gets taken off right away.

Negative: Location was questionable and not the best neighborhood. Old building. Some superficial cosmetic updates done at some point but still feels cringy. Did not meet typical standards I have experienced with other holiday inns.

2022-03-18Positive: I travel for personal reasons, I only have to cross the river to see family & friends. Very close to where I need to be. The staff is typically amazing! Those are the only two reasons I return to this hotel. Negative: The room usually has something wrong with it. Every time I check in, I need to switch rooms in order to get a decent one. The staff are usually absolutely helpful and very understanding. They agree the problems, are problems they would switch as well.

2022-04-22The people at the front desk were so nice and professional. The room was clean and cozy! We really needed this good experience after losing all the power in our house and the stresses that came from that . Job well done

2022-06-01Negative: I recommend that breakfast shud b included for all the guests across all the categories of booking. Even the little breakfast helps in giving a good start to a day when the guests are on vacation. Please include breakfast n I wud luv to stay again.

2022-03-13We were at this hotel for a hockey tournament it was probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in .Very clean rooms all staff that I came in contact with were so very Friendly and Accommodating they even gave our whole team a late check out because our game on Sunday was not till 3pm.

2022-03-29Room was nice only I asked the front desk before going for breakfast if they served a complimentary breakfast and was told yes in the restaurant on site. I was a little taken back when I was served a bill with it afterwards. 🤔

2022-04-09Now a turn of events. 2weeks later after our card was accepted now theyre saying it was declined. This os BS. We paid woth American Express gift card and had to walk all the back to the local Walgreens to putchase 2! More cards to have a deposit on the ro. Now theyre claiming they were declined after the mameger himself approved the room and saw rhe cards went through. Seriously i think whomever the lady was that called is needs to check her facts.
