Great service. Decent food. They were out of 3 of the drinks & one side I tried to order. NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! It was 90 outside (& high humidity) but temp on thermostat on wall near our table said 80 when I arrived, up to 81 by the end of my meal. No fans or air moving - intolerable. (Oh....an no ice in the water!) Plus the acoustics are bad. Was so loud in there (no music or entertainment) had to shout/speak very loudly to friends at the table. I really wanted to like the place, but Ill never go back. (I even drove over 90 minutes to get there😒)
This place is good although the price of what you get is ridiculous. For example when you order certain apps you’ll find they raised the price and give you less then they did a year ago. Also when they open the doors for the summer it is too hot and it’s like eating your food in a barn. There are soo many flies in which I do not understand why so many other open places do not have the same problem. Fix the tremendous price hikes as well as your fly problem. We spent more time swatting away the flies.
Lovely upscale food and craft cider.Mackenzie was entertaining and informative whilst delivering our ciders and food. I had the mussels and they were plump and perfectly cooked bi valves in a delicious cider broth that was accompanied with a fresh and warm crusty baguette. More than enough to stop up the broth. Everyone else had the burgers. Perfectly cooked and garnished as asked on a brioche roll that was fresh fresh fresh! Fresh cut shoestring fries were the best with a garlicky cider aoli to dip. Yum. The ciders were good too, if in the sweet side which surprised me considering the owners statement. I prefer a drier cider although I didnt buy try the only dry cider they had on tap. I will rectify that this evening. Excellent selection of local beers and cocktails. I cant wait to the summer and that patio!Good menu, great service . Needs a bit of sound absorbing decor as it can get very loud.Edit: having gone back twice since this review, I have some added notes.I had the mussels again and this time they were old and almost half were not open or fully open. They tasted it too,I split out many. Shame, but it happens. Third time we went for burgers and pizza. The pizza was delish but@ 18$ for a small pie, just too much. Elm St bakery is only 10$!!! The burgers were great, as rare as they could get it for me. Loved the brioche buns. The last time I paid 12$ for a cocktail was, wait, never. Not even in York City. Be aware that a dinner for 4 with 5 drinks was 170$ . It was a birthday celebration so I didnt fuss. FYI only
My wife and I had a very nice dinner with another couple. The waitress was exceptionally nice. The food is great and the different choices of drinks was nice to see and have. Extremely happy to see a wonderful option in Lancaster. The one downside, especially for the winter months is the inside noise. If it is full at tables and a few folks at the bar, especially in the winter time, you find yourself shouting across the table to try and hear. Hopefully that can be tweaked in the future to make it a better dinner/lunch experience.
Went here for the first time this week and loved it! Large variety of in-house made cider and great food - and basically all the food has a gluten free option too. Super friendly staff, nice decor in the dining area, and relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back soon!
I’m not typically a cider guy but, this place is really good. I’ve been there twice and haven’t been disappointed. The food is very tasty as is the cider. There are cocktails and ciders for everyone. It can get a little loud in there though. The pizzas and burgers were delicious. All in all, it’s a good experience.
We went on a Saturday night, we were seated right away. The poutine appetizer was delicious, the cheese plate was fine, tasted good, but kinda small. For entrees we had the house smoked chicken pizza which was delicious. I will definitely be back for that pizza. Also had the bacon cheeseburger and a kids pizza, everything tasted great. Tried a flight of ciders and their specialty old fashioned, all of the drinks were good and the service was quick, and friendly. The outdoor area is very nice with cornhole games and seating. The only issue was that it was a little loud in there, but it is a bar on Saturday night, so I guess that’s to be expected. Will definitely go back!
Nice variety in ciders from dry to sweet. Really enjoyed the Dry Hopped and the Pineapple Hibiscus was fantastic. Burnt ends poutine was amazing. Very tender and fries were on point. Really nice atmosphere and service was great. Good cider and good food in an awesome atmosphere… we will be back for sure.
Waited 15 minutes at the bar with the bartender right in front of us for two drinks then was told we have to walk past the six to eight empty tables and sit on the lawn with the children and infants to enjoy some adult time. I guess tables are only for people who are eating. Owner walked past us a few times without even looking at the bar(which we were the only ones without a drink)seemed more focused on showing his friends how they make cider than getting patrons served.

2022-07-27We discovered this place accidentally in Lancaster one day. SO we made reservations for a Friday night and had wood-fired pizza, salmon and a flight of ciders. The food was very good and the ciders were fantastic- many different flavors. My favorite cider is the Botanical Blueberry - I even bought a 4-pack to take home. Will definitely be returning....soon!

2021-09-11This being my first time to a cider mill and I was very pleased. A parking lot full of cars, both outdoor and indoor seating, good food and of course great cider are all things found at this establishment on a fine Friday evening. I myself ordered a flight (four ciders) and a Margherita pizza. The pizza was great, fluffy and crispy crust, good undercarriage, salt, pepper, fresh bail and mozzarella. The cider though, as it should be, was the highlight of my visit. I picked four ciders: hopped, semi-sweet, savory and watermelon mint. Savory was my favorite, so much so that a four pack found its way home with me. Biggest surprise? Our server said that this place had been open just four weeks. They do not look four weeks old, more like four years. Their premises, staff and food were at professional levels. Five stars, much deserved, will be back.

2021-09-09Food was good, different take on poutine and the mushroom pizza was good. Im not a big cider fan but tried a flight and they were all drinkable. They do have beer on tap if cider is not your thing.

2022-06-09Clarksburg Cider is a great addition to the Lancaster area (Walden Ave near Ransom). The building has been repurposed for this location and they did a fantastic job with the layout. It has been very busy (which is great to see) and reservations can be a challenge at this time. But it appeared the reservations are primarily for the seated indoor tables, The outdoor tables seemed mostly open and there was room at the bar area for walk-ins. There is a large overhead glass door they open when weather permits. There are outdoor tables with umbrellas and at least a couple cornhole games for people to enjoy.Upon entering the property, there is a stone driveway that leads you to the parking area. There is a full size Buffalo at the entrance walkway which makes for a great photo-op. We were promptly greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in the door. We noticed plenty of staff and service throughout our visit was far better than most places these days, so a pleasant surprise. We were seated in the upstairs area which overlooked the dining space and kitchen. There were some windows looking into the production area. Table spacing seemed to account for social distancing as they were spaced properly and some tables were not being seated.Sydney was our waitress and did a great job of making us feel welcome. She made some recommendations and I took her up on trying the cider flight. The dry and hopped were my personal favorites, but they have a nice selection of others (watermelon mint, savory citrus, pineapple hibiscus - just to name a few). They had beer, wine and cocktail options (some cider based). We ordered the pulled pork and the mac-n-cheese. Both were tasty and and came in a good size portion. The fries were above average. This place was very good and as such earned the applicable 4 star rating. If 4.5 was an option I would have picked that. To be picky a couple things that might be nice would be a paved drive, a partially covered patio space (when it started raining the patio cleared), and a traditional cheese and cup and char pepperoni option (for simpler palates), as they we making a lot of brick oven pizzas. This is being very picky. Its a great place. Try it out. You wont be disappointed! #SupportLocalP.S. They did have 4 packs and growlers to go!

2022-07-22Great surprise. Food was awesome. When we first got there , we were waiting for a table and had no clue what we were going to have to drink. The people behind the bar went over and above to let us try different things. We got something we liked and had a seat. The waiter was polite, attentive, and very courteous. After our meal we were sitting there just chit chatting and because somehow he found out it was my birthday, he brought me a piece of cake to celebrate. It was absolutely awesome and was shared by all 4 of us who were totally floored by how good it was.Definitely a Go To Place!!!

2022-05-30Wow! Our first time here. Its a great place. Service, food, atmosphere and the Hibiscus cider sangria was excellent. We both had a burger and hand cut fries. Cooked perfectly. Best part is its only about 10 minutes from home. Well definitely be back.

All ciders minus the dry were light and refreshing and very tasty!!! They all tasted great!!! They also had quite a bit of cocktails so I tried their cider old fashioned!!! Definitely will be ordering that again!!Now onto the food.. anyone who can appreciate a housemade rueben, this is a must try!!! Its up there.. really up there!!! Came with French fries, some type of homemade garlic aioli (fantastic), and house pickles which were brined in a cider!!! Also, tried their German potato salad which was also really enjoyable. My kids ordered the cheese pizza and Mac and cheese and they also said it was super good!!!Wish I would of took some pics, but the inside was pretty cool and had 2 levels of seating and there was plenty of outdoor space as well. They had a few corn hole boards setup outside and the staff was super friendly!!! Definitely cannot wait to go back to try some more of cocktails and amazing food!!! Kudos to this place!!!
