Nice little spot to relax and enjoy the view by the water. Only complaint I have is at times there seems to be a lot of garbage on the floor.
Small Park at the waterfront, with a playground and seating areas. Great views along the water. It also serves as a stop on the Sound view route NYC Ferry, with a walkable dock. Recommend taking a trip for the price of a subway ride. Park is at its best on summer nights
This is so nice and beautiful place. If u visit here you can see tha Nature’s beauty. There had a River. Shes looking so cool and the Water is also cool.
Beautiful park to have a picnic!!! Unfortunately parking isnt great that area. The owners of the houses around are serious about people parking in front. There are cones everywhere and dont even think of parking there.... Your car will be messed with!!! The park is nice and clean.

It is incredibly beautiful I wish I spent a little more time out there during the summer. The one downside is the young kids Drag Racing their cars or racing their bikes up-and-down the strip
Needs rest rooms, the view of the city is awesome, needs a park ranger to keep the overnight crowds playing loud music. Fishing is awesome but wish they have cutting board tables for gutting fish or cutting bait and not on the benches leaving fish guts and blood on it.
Nice view of the water. Nice spot to sit in the summer months. Can get crowded. Hope area gets Citibike soon. Could use a bike after getting off the ferry.
This park is beautiful I really wish they put a bathroom in the area so people can stop going in the tree area
The area can use a welcome center with bathrooms, nice views and walk paths, take a ride on the ferry.
Waterfront park. It is quiet and secluded but that will be ruined by the ferry that is coming soon. Theres a gated community here with every home looking like each other(ick), surbuban feel without being in the suburbs. I enjoyed the time spent there. The BX 27 and BX 39 drop you about a block from the actual park, you can either walk on the sidewalk or walk on the street (as long as you look for cars that may be exiting or entering the area.
Beautiful place to go and chill if you need to think and be alone, not alot of ppl around and the sights are amazing to remind you of what life or your life should be about...and the water is a refreshing plus...not for every one,but was for me that day. Loved it!!!
The park is very clean, and lots of open space. Its nice place to catch a breeze and depending on what part of the park youre in there is a very nice view
Very nice place to go and think, especially at night. The only thing is that sometimes ppl play loud music out there and that messes up the ambiance. But very good place to go to clear your mind. Oh it would have gotten 5stars if there was a place to park.

Clason Point Park is located in the Sound View section of the Bronx! It has recently been revamped and upgraded with the addition of a ferry station! The ferry takes you from the Bronx to lower Manhattan in about 35 minutes! The park itself is a beautiful place to spend a quiet and relaxing day away from the noise of the City! You also have a magnificent view of the famous New York Skyline!
This park is a special gem to the community.There are always smiling faces and welcoming neighbors near by.

The environment is very good, the air is good, and the facilities are quite new, but there are not enough, which can not satisfy the childrens entertainment. The black children who are playing in the park are not friendly enough, thinking that the first thing to come is to play first. , There is no such thing to consciously line up, the family quality seems not high enough 😂

Its nice to chill at night here. Sometimes There are too many people here. If you care about covid-19 still then dont go. Theres too many people.But if u go there you’ll get a nice view of river side

This is a small park At the Southern end of sound view Avenue. Its also clean pleasant beautiful and Has a magnificent view of the East River and Queens. You are now also able to catch the NYC ferry there.
Beautiful, peaceful, and its a few minutes away from the Soundview terminal for the ferries. I went with my wife after picking her up from work, and we want to bring our daughter one day.

I took the ferry for the first time, it was nice. The park there the need to fix it up to make it safe for the people,. Place benches there so people can have somewhere to sit while waiting for the boat. Dangerous.
I love this park. Its small but with character. It has a small little park for the kids,, baseball field, short trail and its right next to the water overlooking the Whitestone and the Throggsneck bridge. However it does not have a rest room nor does it get maintained regularly in terms of garbage and bush trimming.
Friendly and comfortable place to be you can grill, sit on the beach hike,go fishing as long as you have a salt water license.... They have grills .... A couple of parks for the kids real nice area. I will go again

Its not the biggest park, but theres plenty of green space to lay out a blanket and chill. People arent typically obnoxiously loud out there although there was a party blasting profane music when I visited today. Theres so much more potential for this space. The city should do something about the broken piers and abandoned boats, and create more space to enjoy closer views of the river and bridges. Its worth a visit if you live in the Bronx or need to take the NYC Ferry.

A very beautiful and fantastic park to visit and relax. Especially during the Spring and Summer time. With unique views of Throgs Neck , Queens and Manhattan with transportation of the NYC ferry right there. Which is highly convenient and affordable.
Its so peaceful out there. You can take a ferry and go to Manhattan.

Beautiful breezy place at afternoon.
Good to spend a calm afternoon or just for a family picnic. Parking is a problem. You might have to go little far. Easier to just take a bus. Last stop of BX 39. Problem: No restroom. I have seen people fishing there. Place is pretty clean with benches to just sit and relax.

Nice little park at the eastern tip of Soundview in the Bronx. Benches to chill out and relax. Bx27 and Bx39 will take you there plus the NYC FERRY Soundview Terminal operates from Clason Point Pk.
5 to 6 days in a week, I past through the park to get to the soundview ferry, it has beautiful scenery but with all the people hanging out at the front of the park and the music blasting out of there cars (HANG OUT AREA FOR DELINQUENTS) drinking smoking its just become a mess but if there was surveillance by the police it is a beautiful place to visit.
Very nice place to visit with river and city at the same. Nice to visit with family and friends, especially during the summer. You can NY city ferry from there too. Must to visit if you come to visit in the Bronx.
My Brother took me here a few years back, I really enjoyed the peace & tranquility of this place. Thinking of taking a trip there tomorrow with My Mom & Wife.I will say this hold on bringing lunch here huge rat problem, especially because its on the waterfront.
I was waiting for the ferry. It was right after memorial day because all the charcoal and foil all over the place was a clue. Beautiful views and no shade so that dun was beaming on those benches.
Great oasis, but lacks amenities aside from a few locals hustling the occasional bottle water & Kosher hot dog with mustard & relish. MTA bus runs infrequently.

I love this little park facing the water and the whitestone bridge but I didnt give it a 5 because its very difficult to find a place to park in order to enjoy it. Im a person with mobility issues and I had to park so far the last time I went there that I was regretting the whole thing half way into my walk. So nice place to sit and enjoy the scenery but too inconvenient.

Although theres work-in process construction going on, the park is still clean, neat and a scenic wonderland.

Ferry, beautiful views but the park lacks cleanliness and police surveillance should be in place. Hanging out with loud music is visible and disturbing on the sidewalks with the loud music blurring.
It can be a beautiful place to sit down and enjoy the East River if the park was better maintained. Too much trash on the park grounds.

NYC Ferry Transit.....A great experience.
Sad 27 bus leaves you half mile away seems they are trying to avoid people from crossing the complexes to the ferry and the ferry would be only for the complexes while elderly and disabled have to walk to get the bus that wont even wait for you.
Lovely breeze by the water. Nice area for families to enjoy. Needs more seating and table areas. Bring your own chairs, the few benches are not enough. Omg now there is a ferry that leaves this area making three stops in NYC.

Quiet... kinda cool. Didnt know theres a ferry port here. I did a photo shoot 7 years ago here and the ferry wasnt a thing round here. So the port definitely boosts its appeal.

My new favorite place to come to since moving near the area. Very peaceful zen-like place where you can come and think. You can see the Whitestone bridge and a small sunken ship not too far out; however, there are no bathrooms.

The need for more park space is so necessary and this helps. If this park were to be a true pleasure and a part of the NYC Parks department, cleaning up and maintenance would make it a more desirable place to come to.

This is a very small park, other than a few wooden benches that need attention and some patches of grass there is not much more. This park has no rest room facilities, if you want a drink of water bring your own. There is no barbecuing allowed. The Soundview Ferry terminal is here and the 27 Bronx bus has a stop here sometimes the 39 also stops here. I use this park as a place for solace, there is a fabulous view of the East River as well as Queens on the other side. The view of the Whitestone and Throgs Neck bridges is splendid.

This park is more of an open space consisting of park benches, but no swings or other obstacle courses of the sort. It has a view of Queens that is incredible.
If you love a great scenery, a nice breeze, water and even fishing this is a wonderful spot for you and the family..you can get here via ferry, bus, or car...been going here since I was a child and its only gotten better and safer!

Great view of the East River, Whitestone & Throgs neck bridges and LaGuardia airport. A nice small riverfront park to relax. I do wish there was more available seating, but there are a few benches here. With the addition of the East River ferry dock this park should see much more activity in the near future, with it may come an issue with parking in this area.
Beautiful view of Manhattan and Whitestone bridge, but no garbage bins or drinking fountains. Also they leave their lamps on 24/7, waste of energy.

Best kept secret in the bronx,you want to see n.y. from a unique perspective, come to the point ,take the fairy to last stop !! Look around, have lunch ,and come back to your car ,then go to city island for dinner....it wont disappoint you...pick any restaurant, they are all good...

Love coming to clason point because at certain times of the day its peaceful and quiet. I didnt even know until today that there is a service ferry that makes three stops into Manhattan for only $2.75.

Seeing sunrises here is something else! Doesnt matter the season, its more of a waterfront running/jogging track than a kiddie park,there is a very small but new jungle gym and swings almost hidden against the wall of the Shorehaven houses. This is also the Soundview ferry terminal that opened in August.The airport is across from it , at night you can see up to 5 planes lining up in the sky to land, they kinda look like UFOs.

Nice Place to stare at the view or relax on one of the benches. The only reason i dropped this park down two stars is 1 no lights and 2 walking paths are predictable and boring. BX 27 goes from it to the 6 and 2/5 subway while the BX 39 goes to the 6 the 6 express 2/5 and the Q44 SBS

Its a lovely park, not very big and doesnt have room for a lot of people but I enjoyed it.
Cool to just enjoy the view and watch the people around you. Some guys are on bikes and some in cars playing music and some people have there own little thing going on

Needs renovations but good view
This is not a park you can go for a walk or a bike ride. There are a few benches by the water that you can sit. You can also bring a blanket and sit on the grass.

2022-04-13This was my first time riding the NYC Ferry and I found it very enjoyable and quick to arrive at my destination. It was clean, they snacks and drinks to buy inside. Great for when you dont want to drive into the city.

2021-12-17Nice place to visit with your family its clean, nice, and close to water. Theres parking spot for car also there is a NYC Ferry terminal inside that park too. Only downside no restroom. Also bring foods too since there hardly and store or restaurants nearby the park.

2022-06-04Clean, organized, a very smooth ride.No mental patient is pushing you here to the tracks!!! So yes super quiet, please keep your mask on if you want to stay inside, otherwise you can take it off. I would love to have cleaner windows, the views are beautiful.

2021-09-12- Cute little park overlooking The Whitestone Bridge.- Soundview Ferry is fabulous, the best addition to our neighborhood.- Lots of folks hang out there inside their cars.-BX 39 and BX 27 stops there.Downside: Lots of litter, too many cars, no parking, rats by the water. Eww. Not a place I would hang out after the sunsets.

2021-07-24It was very nice. I grabbed a Revel and rode over to chill. Nice crowd. But then the young kids with their music. What kills me is that ten cars parked there and all different music going on. So u drown out the quietness and then u have the chaotic music going on. But all in all was nice. But say by 730pm, it all changes.

2021-09-01Beautiful park , nice place to have a picnic or just sit and enjoy the view. Very clean and not crowded. Plenty of benches all over. Good place to go bird watching or fishing. There is even a playground for kids. The only problem with the play ground, is there is no shade. It gets very hot. Kids may not be bothered by it, but if your planning to sit on a bench and watch your kids, youve been warned. Absolutely no shade! Unless you want to sit on the ground in a corner by the swings. Which I have seen done.
