This is an agency for the 21st century that offers the flexibility of online booking for simple requests (immediate pricing and availability, DIY changes and cancellations, and a nicely curated collection of Virtuoso properties) plus the option of full service for something more complicated. These people know hotels and can reach out to their contacts to make sure you get the service you need. Great attention to detail and exceptional follow up service. Somewhat counterintuitively, the location of the company in the northern hemisphere is perfect for me in the southern hemisphere. I can make inquiries in the evening after work and get an answer before work the following day. Perfect!
Made an appointment with Classic Travel’s owner, Richard Beck, several weeks in advance to accommodate his travel schedule, and he said he was very enthusiastic about having me as a client. But when I then confirmed the appointment one week in advance and asked if we could extend the appointment’s timeframe so that we could get the itinerary completely booked in our initial session, he abruptly cancelled the appointment without apology or explanation, saying he “didn’t have the time right now, and didn’t know when he would have it in the forseeable future.” Guess he’s just allergic to investing time in a client.
My boyfriend and I had several trips organised by them! We appreciated the attention, everything was smooth and we had the time of our lives!
Very convenient online booking. Wonderful amenities! The perfect hotel for our trip.

2020-11-09Lance-Thank you so much. You rocked! The suite was a great surprise. Great experience and perfect weather for our marriage. We shared with Italy, Spain, Brazil, Hawaii, Chicago and Florida. Everyone enjoyed it very much. We had an amazing wedding dinner at Salt and were treated exceptionally by the manager Robert who sabered a bottle of champagne in our honor.Thanks again and I’ll always be using you for future travel with my wife Emilia.

2021-09-17Thanks to the meticulous planning of Lance, my husband and I had a marvelous 50th wedding celebration at The Four Seasons Ocean Club on Paradise Island. Lance always responded to any inquiries that I had, and alleviated my anxieties related to traveling at this time. We were immediately greeted by a representative at the airport after landing.and directed to our complimentary shuttle. Our room at the resort was upgraded from a Garden View to an ideal Ocean View. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our location, as the pool was steps away, the lobby and the Dune restaurant was a short walking distance away and the beach was close by also. The staff at the Four Seasons were marvelous. The delectable breakfast that was included with our package was a feast to behold. Our vacation exceeded our expectations, especially while traveling during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Thanks to Lance and Classic travel..

2021-11-20Learned about classic travel from a client, and used it for the first time to book a trip to Santa Monica. Lance was over the top with service and tentative to our stay. I wont book another hotel without checking their site first, I am actually using their site again this week for Thanksgiving!

2020-09-06We have been delighted to discover [email protected] - we have very happily been using her as our travel agent at Classic Travel for a quite a while now - we love the Virtuoso travel benefits and the convenience of online booking paired with Elfie’s responsiveness, thoughtfulness and help whenever we need it. But now she is one of my life’s heros because she just helped us arrange one of our very best and much needed getaways ever! A magical four day visit to Blackberry Farm in the Smokey Mountains that we almost cancelled because of COVID. We have been seriously careful - telecommuting, having groceries delivered, taking no chances. We cancelled every other trip and almost cancelled Blackberry because we weren’t sure we could have all of our meals outside - the only place we would feel safe. Elfie knew that we were concerned and on the verge of cancelling so as soon as she heard about BBF’s August garden dinners she contacted me. I’m so glad she did as we ended up going, feeling very safe and having the best time ever! Just one example of how Elfie has helped us with our travels. She is terrific! And BBF is such an incredible place - and so safe to enjoy during this awful pandemic! We are forever grateful to Elfie at Classic Travel and all the wonderful people who make Blackberry Farm so special!!!

2020-02-20Excellent service that went the extra mile for us, helping my wife plan a memorable birthday trip to Morocco and receive a significant and delightful surprise upgrade at our hotel that made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. 2020-02-04My husband and I were initially planning on a trip to Australia. Lance Stamps was incredible in helping us organize our hotel stay at a 5 star hotel. Sadly, we had to cancel due to unexpected reasons but Lance helped us with the cancellation process with no stress at all. Definitely would book my next trip with them. 2020-11-03I am so glad I accidentally stumbled upon this website! I was not expecting anyone to email me personally once I booked our hotel. I got a personal email within minutes. My questions were answered quickly and efficiently. We got $100 credit for dinner a $75 credit for breakfast at our particular hotel for our 1 night stay. I want to travel even more just so I can use Classic Travel!And a Special thank you to Lance, who was our contact person! Thank you for being on top of everything! ❤️

2019-11-01Great Service!I recently planned a trip to Lima, Buenos Aires and Chile with Classic Travel and I could not be happier with their service and the hotels they recommended for me and my husband.We planned this very last minute, my husband is a soccer fanatic and wanted to make it to a final in Buenos Aires, our agent worked with the Four Seasons Buenos Aires to secure us tickets that we could not find anywhere else.Because of the political situation we ended up canceling the Chile portion and extending our trip in Buenos Aires. Camila, our agent at Classic took care of all the changes while we were touring around Argentina and never felt one bit stressed.

Hassle free booking experience on their website with the best part being the exclusive Virtuoso perks you get, which easily trumps other offers from hotel sites. Extra touches are also great as the agency has personal relations with the hotel properties, which extend the welcome treating you like a VIP, making it that much better an experience.
