I had Oscar from Clayton Richards come over to check out and cleanup my Vermont Casting Wood burning stove. He was very efficient, answered any questions I had, and I thought he did a great job. He checked out my catalytic converter, cleaned it up, and put the stove back together. I would highly recommend Oscar and Clayton Richards Stoves to anyone who might need their services.

I live in Huntington and have a Regency Pro series C12600 Wood insert fireplace, which I finally had cleaned PROPERLY today by Oscar, THANK YOU CLAYTON-RICHARDS!!! I have had this unit for a few years and it has never been cleaned properly largely in fault to a local fireplace company whom recommended inadequate chimney cleaning services even while knowing the exact unit we bought from them which is a huge fire hazard, and thankfully I called REGENCY directly and they recommended Clayton Richards which based on my research is the only qualified fireplace company on Long Island to properly clean this type of insert unit! THANK YOU AGAIN!

I had a lot of help picking out the perfect insert for my home. They came and measured, and then were very professional in the showroom as well. They installed the stove and chimney liner in less than a day, gave helpful tips in operating the new stove, and left essential paperwork. They were so easy to work with and cleaned up before leaving. I highly recommend Clayton-Richards.

Customer service and fairness is not part of this business. We had scheduled an appointment for someone to come to our condo to see what can be done to update our fireplace. When the person came to our gatehouse, for some reason my husbands cell would not answer the call. And (because of unreliable Magic Jack) the home phone did not ring. So, the guy left. When we called to ask if we could schedule another time for him to call, we were told we would be charged $150 because we were not home when he arrived. I was at home; I got up early and waited for him to come. We explained the problem with the phones, but he wouldnt budge. Guess hes doing fine without our business. We were looking forward to having him come, too.

We had a wonderful experience with Clayton Richards, Eric and Oscar were fantastic, they built us a beautiful new mantle as well as installed a new insert. They were on time everyday and cleaned up every inch of where they worked. We are sooo happy with the work that was done! Thank you guys!!!

Recently they came and cleaned my pellet stove. After they left I tried to start my stove and it would not work. I contacted the owner who came by and told me that I could figure it out myself after he looked at the manual. I called the next day asking if they could come open it up and figure out why it was broken since it worked before they cleaned it. The owner again blew me off saying it was my problem to figure out and was beyond rude/disrespectful! All I asked was for the company to do the right thing but I guess they do not stand behind there work. I would not recommend this company to anyone and if you do use them i hope you have a good lawyer because you will most likely need one after they are done.

Eric stopped by to give an estimate, then arrived with a technician on time to do the chimney liner. The job was done promptly, and they left the basement clean and neat.I highly recommend Clayton Richards.
