Going to clear ClearMD was an incredible experience. I needed to get an RT-PCR test before travel, and the lab I had initially made an appointment with cancelled last minute due to the blizzard. I was left scrambling last minute to find a new place in an short time window, and ClearMD UWS came through. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and also very gentle when doing the test. It was super quick with no long wait times. I was supposed to get my test results in 48 hours, but they delivered in less than 24! Definitely recommend!
Clear MD increased prices for all testing aside from 48 hour pcr now that omicron is in nyc and demand is up. They should model every other testing site and not charge for these tests, let alone increase when New Yorkers need it most. Greedy.As an fyi with the increased demand app ointment times don’t matter. Still had to wait 1+ hour after appointment time. Some of this is out of their control but at least send an email letting people who have an appointment know.
Incredible job during a very hectic week of testing. The people at Chelsea facility were great. In the midst of 800 tests a day - they were friendly and helpful. Also the labs delivered sooner than scheduled I heard many horror stories of no results or delays all over NYC but Chelsea Clear MD delivered as they promised - Good job!!!
This place is awesome! They have so many options and crazy fast turnaround times. They offer a 2hr PCR test (at a high cost) and a free 24hr PCR. I opted for 24hrs and results came in less than ~4hrs! The office is very clean and professional. The staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was quite organized. Im so grateful to have this in the neighborhood and wish there were more of these!

So glad my friend recommended ClearMD to me. I am a Fordham student and often have to get tested. Jinjin helped me again today and was quick and prompt, but didn’t force the PCR swab in like many other testers do. ClearMD is fast and efficient and I love that it’s predominantly scheduled rather than walk-ins, so you can plan your day around it. The receptionist was the icing on the cake! She was so sweet and helpful to everyone who walked in as well as her coworkers.

Stay clear. This place charged almost $4,000 to my health insurance for a single Covid test. The fact that they remain in business despite they fraudulent actions is beyond words.

I was so stressed about my trip and counting hours for being able to have a Covid test available for all the hours of travel. This place is the place! Cheaper than other places, so professional, they weren’t crowded so they took my test as soon as I walked in, even tho my appointment was in 10 mins. I got the next day by 8 PM test and my flight is at 10 PM. Did the test Sunday night and got the results at 10:30 AM on the day of the flight! They deserve 5 stars ✨
Twice now I have received positive results for a test I never took. Due to an unexpected scheduling conflict, I missed my appointment. Within the next day or so, I received an email that my test was positive. Today, over a month since I missed the test, I received yet another set of results that I tested positive **for a test I never took** Im seeing reviews about people NOT receiving their test results, so is ClearMD mixing up patients??
Yes - lines are long even if you have an appointment. That is the nature of the beast right now. Got my $0 pcr results in 36 hours. The nurse was extremely friendly and made the process seamless. I’ve gotten 15+ tests here and never had a problem receiving results. I’ve also never had a problem with them billing my insurance.
I go twice a week to get tested for work and the experience is always amazing. Superb customer service and very attentive. Ginger is always great when she swabs me by the way.
Great experience the whole way through. I happened upon ClearMD after leaving the nearby Apple Store and stopped in to inquire about getting a Covid test for upcoming travel (I needed to take the test and get the results in the 72 hour window before departure). ClearMD actually dissuaded me from paying for a more expensive, faster option, saying theyd have the results for the regular

I love this rapid testing center! They are very fast and kind, with a very welcoming staff and a helpful receptionist(Loren). The young women who took my tests was very gentle(April). I Will definitely be using them in the future for all my testing needs. Thanks clear md!!! 6 stars if possible

My COVID test was quick and efficient. The staff was very thoughtful and even called me prior to my appointment to let me know my insurance was not on their list of approved companies to bill to, and that they wanted me to know before my appointment just in case I preferred to cancel. Having this information early allowed me to contact my insurance company to make sure my test cost would be reimbursed (it was fully covered). Location is super convenient for me, and there were tons of appointment slots available. They said they could accommodate me at any time. Thank you! Great experience!
Had an appointment today 1/12022 fir 10 am, arrived at the location and received an email at 9:59 that your appointment has been successfully canceled. I didnt cancel it, then git out if the car and the place was closed for the day. I think this was do unprofessional to schedule me when you knew you wasnt going to be open that day. If this is how they practice. I would never never never go here for any type of services. I recommend that no one should go here. Its just let me services will be bad.
Their brand promise is the biggest lie. They do not deliver. My sister paid for 24 hour results for a trip that had already been a nightmare. Chose them based on their promise of quick turnaround. Drove into city. Hours after the 24 hours with no results, she drove back into the city as she could not get anyone to answer a phone, message, text! She was told she may not get them. So she stayed up night, no results, couldnt get on plane. Do not use them. Their are other testing locations that will tell you upfront they cannot deliver in time. Clear.md gives false hope, takes your money and doesnt deliver on their promise. They just give you anxiety, no sleep and make you have to cancel your vacation. DO NOT USE!!!!
This place is The Easiest way to get covid tested with fast accurate results. It’s clean; appointments are made and kept; results are fast, and they both email and call to ensure you got them. They definitely go above-and-beyond expectations. Tiffany was great :)
Terrible and greedy clinic. Charged $60 more than what was supposed to be. Told me that the $60 would be returned with 5 to 7 business days. Almost two months later, still nothing. Tried to contact the customer service a few times. No response. Had to ask my credit card issuer to be involved.
ClearMD not only met my expectations but exceeded them. They’ve been very accommodating, and I have had excellent service. They’ve been my go-to for their fast and accurate PCR testing and I will continue to recommend them to my clients. Thank you!

This is a MEDICAL service where testing concerns peoples health and safety. The negligence was absolutely apalling!Terrible - booked services for our office and after following up with them a few days before they never responded. We were to have a weekly service and although I received text and email confirmations, no one showed up. The number for customer service could not help because they were not at the labs.The next week after a host of issues with each booking, the failed to show up again. The customer service line was not very helpful. If I could give negative starrs, I would. Terrible service. Unreliable, and inconsistent. No communication, they confirm but never show up.
Have been able to get a last minute appointment on two occasions, where other places would have me waiting for over an hour. Service is quick and the staff are very kind! Results come very fast as well, have always been pleasantly surprised by how expedient they are. Will definitely be using ClearMD for any future testing needs, despite the fact that there closer testing locations to me!
Received my PCR within 24 hours on two separate occassions, even though I chose the 48 hour testYou can also text them to ask questions and get support, which is so helpful. Gerald from Customer Support was super prompt and extremely helpful in resolving my concerns!Booking an appointment through their website is super smooth. The visit at their testing location was quick and efficient too: no waiting, in and out within 5 minutes!
Appointments are easy to make online and PCR results come back within a day lately. Tiffany was very friendly and quick.
Huge line despite requiring appointment (that have terms for if you cancel cuz you can’t wait an hour after your appointment). Then after you check in there’s another line. Front desk terrible attitude - understand they’re stressed but everyone is. No distancing in line. Super chaotic, no instructions, everyone confused.

I am very pleased with ClearMD in the UWS location. I made an appointment and waited 30 mins from check-in to finishing testing. During the time of hectic testing period with surging COVID cases, this is not bad. And a shout-out to the staff members who are friendly, thorough, and professional. And most impressive, the result came back in less than 24 hours with the 48 hour free PCR, while tons of other covid testing companies took weeks. I am very happy with my experience with ClearMD. Definitely the best COVID test experience so far.
In giving credit where it is due, the testing process was simply, straightforward and quick. However, the one star rating stems from the experience I had afterwards. I made an appointment for the 48 hour free COVID test, because my mother did the test a few weeks ago and the results arrived the very next day. I was hoping to receive within a similar timespan, however, when I realized that I was cutting it really close to my upcoming flight, I thought it was best to call to see if it was possible to expedite my results. The person who answered the phone said that an extra fee ($95) would be required to expedite my results, and that they would contact me for billing information. I made this call early in the morning to see if I would need to pay the $400 to get my results in 2 hours, if the test results would actually take the whole 48 hours. When no one contacted me, I decided to go to the clinic. Upon arriving at the clinic, the person said that the call center does not know what theyre doing and that they lied to me. The clinic did nothing to consider the error made on their end in providing me incorrect information that could have lost me my flight to go home for the first time in a year. In summary, this clinic said they have no connection to their call services, which is frankly ridiculous because thats the number they advertise on google, website, etc, as the number to contact for help. I also did not appreciate how I was talked to. I was clearly given incorrect information, the least they could have done was apologize.
Easy peezy. Easy to schedule an appointment time. Quick and painless procedure. All the staff and my medical professional were friendly, professional, and happy to answer any questions. The facility was clean. Very happy with my experience here, and recommend to anyone that wants a rapid testing done.
There was some middle aged blonde lady without a mask berating the staff. That was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I came with a friend and was extremely uncomfortable getting tested at a clinic where they allow someone to walk around without a mask. As a private clinic I expected more professionalism.

Booked an appt 10 days prior (Booked the test for 26 Dec and my travel was planned for 28 Dec). With a lot of travel and Covid testing happening, there was a line for checking in which was understandable. And after that, was called for the test in 15 mins. Got my results (NAAT) emailed to me in less than 40 hours. Travel was smooth. Excellent experience with the staff! Thank you!

This was a mess - huge line of people waiting 30+ minutes despite having appointments, crowded inside where the testers were wearing loose-fitting masks and in close proximity with each other. The person who did my test didn’t even have gloves on at first and took as long as possible to ask me questions instead of trying to move things along quickly. I probably got covid just by being in there. Don’t go.
Very disappointing :(During the crazy Covid surge this past December-January I scheduled a PCR test with Clear MD. At the same time, I was able to get a rapid test, and thankfully it was negative, so I cancelled my PCR test within the guidelines of a full refund. Clear MD is now fighting the charge and saying that it is valid and I did not cancel in time. Thank you Capital One for telling me to keep the confirmation email in the event they dispute the credit.I feel that Clear MD is taking advantage and this is very bad business

The staff at Clear MD is stellar. Patient, helpful and professional. Gentle nose swab testing and excellent turn around time for lab results. In addition, their cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.
They were very nice and even helped us adjust our appointment when our testing travel requirements changed while we were at their office. We came back the next day and got our results back on the following day. They both call you and email you with your results.
My daughters and I visited to receive PCR tests before travelling. It was advertised that results would be received in advance of 48 hours. It is one week later and only 2 of the 3 results were received - leaving us scrambling for other options. There were no responses to emails and calls made to the lab. Unsatisfactory experience.

Extremely long waiting time. AND the worst thing is: They never give me the test result. The result was supposed to come out next day but 4 days already I still do not receive my test result. I gave a few calls and left a message but they never pick up the phone or give any response/refund. This is fraudulent. Red flag. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!
Came here for a Covid test that needed a quick turnaround due to upcoming travel. The online scheduling system took a bit of time, but when I arrived for my appointment I was taken immediately and the entire process took less than 5 min (well worth the upfront time in the comfort of my house). They guarantee a 48 hour turnaround, however this might have been the fastest non-rapid test Ive taken. I went around 6:30pm and had results the VERY next morning by 11am. The speed at the location as well as the test results couldnt have been better. Extremely satisfied and will be a go-to testing facility in the near term for any additional needs.

My husband, friend and I had an incredibly positive experience at Clear Md health. Easy to make an appointment, kind and helpful front desk staff, clean and air conditioned space, and many people on staff administering tests. My test was also so gentle. I happily got my results in less than 12 hrs even though I got the pcr test and expected results in 24 hrs. I didn’t need to download anything or log into any site to access my results. I highly recommend getting tested here (we went to the chelsea location). Also it was free with insurance or without insurance via the cares act.

I mistakenly made a COVID test with them while trying to do so at another site, and I tried to cancel my appointment. They charged me immediately anyway and said they have a company non-refund policy. What a scam.
I have been here many times in the last month since discovering the location. First, making an online appointment is super easy. There are lots of appointment times available. You upload your insurance card and info online when you book the appointment so checking into the clinic takes less than a minute. I have never waited more than few minutes to be called. The nurses are super nice. Jin Jin today was awesome! She gets a thumbs up from our entire family! Now, we will never go anywhere else to get PCR / rapid tests done. The turnaround time for even the 2 day PCR (free even if you don’t have insurance) has come back usually by the next day. Thank you ClearMD for taking the stress out for a mom with two kids in schools which require frequent testing!
I got covid test today for flight , and it was so fast and clean. And especially Jinjin was so kind and accurate! :) I really recommand this place!
Honestly, the only complaint I have is that before the test, they conduct a brief/light physical exam. Theres no notification about it before they begin, so its more than a bit confusing/off-putting to experience, when all youre expecting is a nose swab. A sign near the check-in desk would easily have brought this review up to 5-stars. The facility is clean, the staff is kind, scheduling is easy, the test was the gentler of the ones Ive had, and I received the results for a 48-hour test in 24 hours. I would highly recommend. Just be ready for your blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen to be measured.

This place is NOT SANITIZED, it has HUGE WAIT TIMES and they harassed me about my insurance for a good half an hour. This place is not sanitized at all- no care is taken to disinfect the seats, sanitize hands, wear PPE suits. If you do not already have COVID when you go for your test- YOU MIGHT JUST CATCH IT AT THIS PLACE!

Been waiting 45 min standing outside (still waiting) for my appointment I made in advance, and I was on time. On a Saturday morning. If you can go somewhere else you should. Longest I’ve ever waited for a test with appointment. They wayyy overbook it seems. The place is small and no room to distance inside either. The clientele is not very good about proper mask wearing while waiting or checking in either. Saw several men walk in without mask or with it below their nose and no one wears one waiting outside and tries to stand close to others.
Great when results come on time but terrible when you need help following up on late results. No one answers emails or phones and I was ghosted on a text message when I specifically said I needed my results to be able travel.
It was so easy to get an appointment at this place and they were super quick. My results were in my inbox 24 hours later. I had a question and was able to text them with real time correspondence. I highly recommend this place!
Contrary to NYC policy, no walk-ins allowed which was not announced by those working the line. Plus, a couple with a baby that was standing in line behind me was maskless and the staff said nothing. Sure, if youre standing in line because you think you have COVID you should know better, but shouldnt the staff say something? Why is it up to those waiting to be tested to run their business basics? What a fiasco around the obvious.

We ended up missing our flight on Tuesday (2 days later) as they didnt email us the results. They do not respond to email, phone or text. Do not go to this place if you need a PCR test to travel!
I received excellent care and attendance by Bruvita Mayfield during a recent COVID-19 testing visit. She was very thoughtful and agreeable and put me at ease for the COVID-19 PCR test, which I had found previously to be somewhat uncomfortable. However, Ms. Mayfield seemed to be very gifted and I did not experience any discomfort. Addiitonally, there is no wait, clean office, professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
It was a fantastic experience! very knowledgeable and super pleasant and helpful staff, in and out very quickly. I went in three different times for myself and my two boys yesterday and everything was done perfectly and got my results within 24 hrs.
Would have rated them 7 Stars if it was allowed. Super easy to book a Covid Test appointment with plenty of slots available everyday and at 5 minute intervals. If you go on time, the wait time is negligible, and you can be out after the Covid Test procedure with in 5 minutes. The reports are emailed to you within the promised 24 hours. Service is covered by insurance, and is free for the uninsured.

Was told by the manager personally I would get the results for my priority test before they close shop, only got them about 2 hours after, which was only a few hours before my flight, I had to personally contact them at facebook, email, and Instagram to get their attention and get my results. Very disappointed for something I paid 95$ for.

Had a wonderful experience at ClearMD yesterday, getting a Covid PCR test. Staff was professional and very pleasant, there was no wait, and test was administered quickly and painlessly. My experience was much better here than when we did our PCR in Bangkok. Also the nurses and staff are very attentive my son was a losing it after the Bangkok experience where they shoved it super far up our noses.Highly recommend this as an option for your PCR test.

The staff and procedure was great, however, I received my claims benefit from my insurance company and a single covid test for my son resulted in $3,700 out of pocket costs. Im still trying to get to the bottom of how this can happen when covid tests are currently fully covered by insurances. This place is a scam. Do not go

Refused to provide confirmation of payment or receipt in store. There is no way to see how much they charged your card without emailing their billing department. Just give them your card and pray they charge the right amount 🤷♂️
Went to get a 2-day PCR test.. day 5 and still no results. Called and emailed multiple times. No one has ever picked up the phone or replied back to an email.Terrible service for something so crucial.
Great place to get a quick covid test. I got my result in less than 24 hours. And the staff was very nice. This is the only place I found in NYC which promises to deliver test within the mentioned time frame and accepts insurance.

ClearMD is a great place to get a COVID test. I needed two separate PCR tests for international travel recently, and my experience both times were perfect. My results were in faster than expected, and they even attached a convenient PDF of the lab report in my results email. The location is clean, the staff is friendly and gentle, and the entire process from booking to testing was seamless.

Hello ClearMDThanks for the quick turnaround of our RT-PCR COVID test needed for international travel. We received the results within 12 hours of the test. That is really helpful and it is as advertised. They emailed us the results and then called the following morning. The service and turnaround justified the fee.
Was able to get a PCR and an antigen test within an hour of making the appointment. The PCR came at no cost to me, however the antigen cost $40, both with insurance. However this was the only place available with such short notice, and it saved me two additional trips that City MD would have had me make.
Absolutely Impeccable Service!Both Physicians were highly professional, careful and we also had a nice conversation after my PCR test which included a blood pressure analysis. The actual covid test was delicate and painless. They called me back to say my results were negative, will definitely suggest their name to my friends and family.
The upper east side location (85th/madison) totally overbooked themselves. It’s an hour plus wait for your scheduled appointment. They only have two nurses on staff.

I thought ClearMD was a good choice for my Covid test. I was able to make a same day appointment and I got the results in the timeframe (actually quicker) than promised. I would only ding them because of their website. As a result I went in person to ask a question and had to wait a bit as the person in reception was busy fielding calls that the website did not answer. I joked that I should go home and call instead of showing up in person but she did not look amused.
Jinjin was very competent.Web signin logged me out when I photoed my ID, which was annoying since I had to start over.
The receptionist and nurse Dolc are so nice. They are genuinely friendly. They really made my day.

I highly recommend Clear MD on Broadway at 69th St. Rapid tests are $45 and PCR tests are free. They say two days for PCR but mine came back in about 12 hours. You register online and it’s very efficient once you are there.

I went into a ClearMD office to get a PCR test prior to an international flight. Airline regulations require testing within 72 hours of departure, so I went in on a Tuesday morning before a Thursday afternoon flight, and chose the 48-hour turnaround. Jessica, the technician, informed me that the 48-hour period would start when the sample was sent to the lab at 8pm that night. This is a problem, because 48 hours from that time I should already be on the flight. ClearMDs promo materials did not make this CLEAR at all. However, Jessica was kind enough to expedite the results and I received them the day after testing. So overall, the experience was good, but just be aware of this timing issue if you are trying to test prior to a flight.
What’s the point of making online appointments for a specific time if they allow walk-ins and people with later appointment to get their test first.Aside from that, test process is easy. But forget trying to plan a test around your other schedule.
Very smooth experience! The booking process was quick, the staff was very efficient and I got my PCR test result in less than 24 hours (even though I’d opted for the 48H test). Definitely recommend this over city MD which is 5 mins away but takes the longest time for processing PCR results!

This place is everything you want in a pandemic: a refuge of calm, quiet, and privacy, and a source for the latest intelligence on vaccines, antibodies, antigens, and testing in general. The two gals were extremely helpful as I filled out the paperwork, answering all my questions, and the tests were quick and painless. Why have I been going to CityMD when I could have been going here?
Dr Rashan was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and friendly - a great bedside manner. He came to my house and administered the test for me and my husband. Am happy to see another place is open during these times to ensure we are safe.
No one enjoys getting a Covid test. But at least this facility makes it easy and quick. Their staff has been incredibly kind to my kiddos on both of our visits, too — the whole experience was drama free and sans tears with no waiting. Insurance was taken, jokes were told, Starbursts were doled out, and the swabbing was gentle and swift. Basically a 2020/2021 dream come true.

Professional, Quality, Fast and Economical. I was actually on my way to another testing site, ready to pay more than DOUBLE the cost of a COVID PCR test for international travel. I confirmed the cost, that this was a PCR and I would have the test results in 24 hours. I received the results in 18 hours via phone. Immediately then a PDF with the results were emailed to me. I was able to upload the results to the Kenyan Ministry of Health and panabios.org site, received my Trusted Traveler code and am good to travel. The staff is friendly, professional, answered all my questions, and helped me to the electronic registration. They all followed excellent COVID infection control protocols. I HIGHLY recommend ClearMD and will be using them when I need another COVID PCR for travel.
It is over 72 hours and I have not received my test results for a 48 hr PCR test. Quick turnaround within 48 hours was the attraction of this place. Impossible to get customer service. I would not go to this place for testing

I would love to share my experiences using ClearMD. I had Covid PCR test twice at the UWS Manhattan location. They provide awesome service, very fast and very punctual. The doctors are very professional and very friendly.The results came even earlier than they advertise.I would highly recommend them for your Covid testing and I think they planning to provide vaccination too.
This review is long overdue. Back in May, my dad unexpectedly passed away. After hours of searching for flights going to a country with strong travel restrictions, I was able to book a flight internationally to get to family. I needed to get a PCR test for my flight the next morning and it was already passed 7pm on a weekend night. A friend connected me to Dr Rashan and he offered to stay after hours til I got there and do the PCR test. He got me the results within an hour or so. I am so grateful for Dr Rashan to stay passed office hours in a Saturday night to get me tested so I can fly home to be with family and lay my dad to rest. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

ClearMD is the best testing center on UWS, it was fast, easy, cost nothing (accepted my insurance easily), and the staff are super friendly and efficient. I got my result in less than 24 hours, and they use the short swab which is not at all uncomfortable like the old tests. If you’re on UWS, skip CityMD and the others and go to ClearMD, just a block or two south on Broadway.

2022-05-02I don’t usually write reviews, but beware for those purchasing a test (not the standard $0 tests). The testing itself was fine, a fairly smooth process. However, as a few other people have written, my claims came in, and they have billed my insurance provider over 1.5k per test I took.Standard tests have been fine, no bills there, but watch out for the other tests!

2022-06-10This place does provide tests as advertised but dont be fooled by the billing promises. They have billed my insurance company thousands upon thousands of dollars of services including doctors visits and laboratory services amounting to $4k each time they swab your nose. My insurance company has blindly paid a portion of the bill and the provider has never charged me the balance because they know its a scam. I estimate they have billed over $35k of services to my insurance for maybe 8 individual testing sessions (not expedited mind you - just regular service) and have gotten paid out about 20% of that. Misleading scam. Do not use this place.

However, my friend was at the location a few minutes before I received the phone call and overheard the workers saying that they were cancelling appointments because they were overbooked.

2022-02-04Jinjin did my covid test and she was fast, to the point, and efficient. I always have an easy time at ClearMD and with an appointment I’m always in and out in 5 minutes. You can make appointments for 15 minutes in advance or longer, so if you’re in a hurry, it’s easy to get seen.
