I was referred to Dr.Amy Wu for my sinus problem. From the first visit up until my surgery and post care, she has been nothing but amazing. Her kind and caring way of explaining your symptoms makes you feel comfortable and demonstrate her experience and knowledge of her field. I highly recommend Dr.Wu to anyone who needs her kind of medical practice.
Everytime I went to the pediatrician office I waited for a ridiculous amount of time. The doctors prescribed my baby medication for thrush that made her throw up everytime and wanted to give 3 vaccinations at once. I changed pediatricians to find out it was just milk not thrush and they do one shot at a time. So happy Im out of there!
My experience with the receptionist was a nightmare. She was rude.and did not want to help me . When I finally got my appointment for occupational therapy at 8AM for the following week ,the therapist was late 6 times out of 7 visits showing up between 810 AM and 820AM and so trying to catch up with the patients I felt I got a rush job . I was supposed to get 8 visits and at the 7 visits I was told my coverage was denied even though I was given a letter of approved. and they gave me a lousy explanation. that the rules has changed.
Worst existence. I made an appointment and the scheduled me with a doctor who doesn’t start till next week. I waited 20 min at the receptionist down stairs to have everyone who walked in get checked in while she was doing mine. I get upstairs and no one is at the reception desk after 40 min for waiting for someone I left.
If i could put no stars i would. If i could put negative stars i really would. Been coming here for years, idk why maybe because i rarely come. This place gets worse and worse always a minimum hour wait. One time i left after 1 hr and 30 mins of waiting they called me 1hr later asking if i had left, yea i did. I highly recommend looking somewhere else for a doctor unless u like sitting in chairs and waiting.
This is the worst place you can possibly go for anything. I went for a simple physical and waited for 3 hours to see dr stanilou.she was such a sweetheart and very nice. But the NURSES! Omg not one of them helped me out. Especially Susan. All she does is talk and focus on everything else but the patient. She will start something with you, tell you shes going to get something or find something out, and wont come back for like 15 minutes. She is unfocused and all over the place. Oukdbt ser while doing y PPD test and blew on the needle... now it had even more germs from her breath! The front desk is even worse. Not going there again.
Ive visited Dr. Efrain Antunez. Recent changes in NYC healthcare plans make it a better choice, especially since URGENT CARE co-pays have gone up tp $50 and co-pays are currently waived at ACPNY. Was there for a physical and very happy with treatment, although I wish my personal healthcar record were downloadable. OK, I don’t know what some of the people complaining here expect, this is medicine, these are highly trained doctors that take you from sick and make you well again, if there’s an hour wait , we’ll then you wait an hour, clearly somebody else who is hurting is in the office being treated… I had hernia surgery from Dr. Jose Paul, he was As good as I could’ve hoped for, made me feel at ease, and did my surgery perfectly… My practitioner is Dr. Thomas, And she was as good as I could’ve hoped for, professional but not the elitist type at all, wonderful personality, made it not so terrible and I thank her for that. I think they do as good as they can, and people should understand that, everybody there is hurting, including the people that were there before you, and if it takes a little longer than you would’ve hoped for, grin and bear it, and thank the stars for healers like we have advantage and at northwell, thank you Dr. Paul, thank you Dr. Thomas, I appreciate you both for healing me.
Be prepared to wait even with an appointment! Everyone that works there has no ability to multitask and you will wait forever to even ask a question. I have tried multiple locations and its its always the same. If you have a choice, you should see doctors outside of this practice
I waited 30 minutes to check in and then another 30 minutes to see the doctor (no one was waiting ahead of me). I needed a referral and they didnt bother giving me one, but said they would put it through (they didnt ). This place has gone down the drain.
I am here to see dr. Barmen.my appointment was set @3:15 pm...and i came @3:10pm...there was none to check in at reception desk ...i waited 30 min to discover that i have to check in another reception other than dr.barmens...and still waiting to see him...ridiculously unproffessional...people has something else to do other than sleeping in doctors waiting area...unbelievable
This place is horrible. Waited two hours just to be seen. Then the nurse wanted to have an attitude. I will never come back to this location again. So unprofessional.
Dr Christian Wower podiatrist is a very knowlegable and caring doctor.Dr Wower takes time to explain everything to you and will answer any question you may have.
All one shop for different type of doctors. Every one is very professional. However their phone system is the worst. In order to call the office you get routed to a call center in Brooklyn which they ask you all of these tedious questions just to make an appointment.
My first visit was a little bit hectic but I guess it was just a bad day , I felt they were short on personnel I got there at about lunch time. And after that first visit it’s been fine
Wait months for an appointment its about the money its not about health care they have good doctors but unable to get an appointment I used to use Advantage Healthcare on a regular basis its time to look for another healthcare provider
A big fat zero is in best rating for this facility, having an appointment is irrelevant for this facility does not work with time or have no sense of the words time, schedule and appointment.
Call and made an appointment for today,with the podiatrist, got one for 11:30am, check in pay my copay of 10 dollars and when up stairs, waited for like a hour and a half and no one said anything to me, finally call back the number I made my appointment with to be told the doctor called out this morning, place sucks and very unprofessional.
The nurse at doctor David askin office very unprofessional don’t have a good sense of humor very mean not a hi how r you nothing just slam the door while leaving not friendly at all Miss Samantha her name need to fired

They charge so much on your insurance and the service is horrible and administrative department doesnt even care or investigate the horror
So please do not waste your time calling this location the employees dont answer the phone. Also you will not be able to reach administration during the hours of 1-2pm.
This place has no running water and the bathrooms cant be used why is it still open today sent over a associate and she is appauled

2018-02-13This is a terrible and disgusting place. They do not valuate your time. I had an appointment and two and a half hours later I was not seen although I was not feeling well. I ended up leaving without seeing a doctor! The young receptionist at the front desk seemed to be concerned but no one else cared, including doctors and nurses. Don’t waste your time. Go to an Urgent Care. It is unfortunate that the minimum number of rating stars is one. Advantage Care Physicians of Forest Hills deserves none.

2018-06-20This place is a nightmare.When my child was born, her levels were high for jaundice. The hospital recommended for us to get blood work done the next day to check her levels to be sure she wasnt at risk. We went the following day early to the lab because you shouldnt be in high populated areas with a newborn. We made it know to the staff that she was a newborn and they didnt care. As an hour went by, the room was filled with sick people along with others trying to get blood work done. When we were finally called in after an hour and a half of waiting, the nurse tried to take blood from her arm rather than her foot. Luckily, we had the right sense to know this wasnt right and left. We went back to the hospital in which she was born to follow up.This facility should have an infant/child lab within the pediatric area along with a technician who only handles infants and children.This place is poorly run, and it is evident (and insulting) that the management only wants to see $$$ and has zero interest in keeping their patients healthy and safe.Its a shame because the medical staff is knowledgable and actual cares about their patients.

2019-05-16Over all my experience was ok. Im an adult patient for general internal medicine. There is usually a wait of 15 minutes if you arrive on time but if you are late then expect 25 min to 1 hour plus. Clean. Staff are nice. Doctors assistants are fantastic. The doctors are your typical wenstern doctors- good at prescribing medications! The doctors are polite usually. So far. Very easy to get referrals.I wish ACP has more specialists like ENT or dermatologists located centrally.My appointments themselves are usually 2 min to 7 minutes with the doctors. Very fast.Overall I recommend this clinic and ACP. I think if you go else where, it wouldnt be better. Western medical doctors are trained pretty the same - sterile, cold, but professional.

2018-06-15The convenience of parking lot was great until someone keyed in the side of my car!! The doctors Askin have been great with my mom’s care for her chemo so far and the NP Kim is great with my mom. I haven’t had to much negative things happen except for the lab is very bad the wait is long and today they were short of staff the wait was exhausting.

2018-06-21I have used this center for cardiology, labs, mammography & other vascular testing over the years. I liked it so much, I decided to change my PCP to this location. Sure, the parking can be tight sometimes and the wait at the lab may not always be the quickest (but labs are busy in general & waiting time goes with it) but, overall, I dont feel the wait was unacceptable/unexpected. You need to have realistic expectations. The facility is clean & comfortable; any bathroom Ive used is large & equipped with grab bars & an emergency call button. I have found the various doctors & staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. If there was going to be a delay, I was normally advised. When I thought Im waiting too long (and this is infrequent), I got up and spoke with the person at the desk to get an update. I also ask when I check-in what the anticipated wait time may be & this helps prompt the desk staff to let me know if there are any problems/delays at that time. When I had another appt within the center that I was going to be late for due to an unexpected delay to see the 1st doctor, I advised the staff, went to the 2nd appt, came back & was then next to be seen. I have had NO problem with this facility or its staff.

2018-03-27If putting zero stars was an option that would be my choice. The nightmare begins when you drive into the lot and the rent a cop comes to your window after you park to tell you that you can’t park in a spot because the person that was parked there will be back. Then after you tell him that it’s a spot - the only open spot on the patient-parking side, he tells you that your car might not be here when you come back. Now I’m not one to call someone out but sir, you’re just being a dick at this point. After you ignore that guy and walk into the hospital the tone changes, it’s pleasant in the lobby. You are greeted and told where you need to go. Now I’m not sure if this is all floors but the 3rd floor is complete chaos. In section K, when you are waiting for the lab to complete a simple blood test you are told to fill out papers and will be sitting there for at least 45 min to an hour before you are even told that the lab will be open shortly. It’s 10:30!!!! WHY WOULD YOU SET APPOINTMENTS FOR 9:15AM IF YOUR LAB DOESNT OPEN UNTIL 10:45-11:00?? I’d rather go to any other place than come back here.

2017-01-06My friend referred me to the Advantage Care in Valley stream but they didnt have any appointments available so I came to the one in Forest Hills. The wait time was terrible after I was taken in to be seen. The doctor had computer trouble but I do not understand how that effects her seeing me. She did apologize and her seeing me only took about 5 minutes. After that she sends the prescription to the Phamacy in the building. Unfortunately they didnt carry it so I asked them to send it to a cvs. A hour later I go to CVS and they did not have any prescription under my name. I called Advantage care and the representative was nice but unfortunately the doctor had went home and the nurse was unavailable. So I have no medicine for the night and defeats the purpose of going to the doctor. I would have been better off staying home and sleeping in rather than going to see a doctor. Never will I go to this location again.

2018-10-24As soon as I walked in I was helped fast one of the head ladies in charge a Spanish lady was awesome , but after that it was all downhill . I was wheelchaired into the wrong waiting area ! Spanish lady with short hair from front desk took me to , waited for 2 hours ! Finally asked guy at desk when I was gonna get called and he noticed I was supposed to be in the other waiting room ! Then I finally see the nurse praticioner and get Miss diagnosed ! I went to a specialist and was told I had a calf tear instead of what I was told a “spasm “ ! Will never come back !

2018-11-07Dr. Mahesh Bhaskar is by far one of the best doctors weve seen. After moving and not finding a Pediatrician we felt comfortable with he was an absolute breath of fresh air. We never feel rushed and he has a great rapport with both parents and our sons.

2018-11-29Had to go to this location because my Brooklyn office was booked. No problem with wait time, like 15 mins for a 5pm appointment. Everything went smooth with Dr. Kalam. Only thing was an older white lady at 1st flr check out desk was a little rude upon exit. Would go back.
