We ordered soup, which should of came out before dinner came,the waitress said she forgot all about the soup...other than that all was really good
A very nice experience. I was expecting just regular bar food. I was extremely impressed with my dish. The service was quick, friendly, and efficient. The outdoor patio was nice and had a lot of coverage.
Nice day to sit out back and enjoy a meal. My first time there and I will be back.
Stopped , by chance after visiting casino. This joint is a real gem. Told my companion if they had a picture of bill or hili on the wall we would have to leave, but that was not a problem. Lunch menu was excellent. Try the macaroni salad. Best Ive ever had. Would love to try dinner in the attached restored firehouse.

Its a solid place. Went here a while back for a birthday get together and the hosts were great made sure we had everything we needed and the food was good. Wings are good. Mozzarella sticks great. And buffalo chicken wrap Id definitely get again . Overall solid . Cant complain.
This is a great bar. Great food, ambience, perfect for lunch and dinner. But, the thing I want to say is I was there two Fridays ago and I had hot wings for lunch. My God, they were the best wings Ive had in probably ten years. I cant stop thinking about them and cant wait to go back for more.
Placed an order over the phone. The wait time was given at 30 minutes. We got there at 25 and the order was ready. The food was amazing for the price. I ordered the southwest wrap with a side salad. It was only 10$ and the wrap was huge and the salad and dressing tastes great! I would definitely suggest this place to a friend and go there again for their food!
I have lunch here regularly and have no idea who the owner is. Waitstaff is fine and the food is fresh and tasty. There seems to be some feud going on with the owner in these reviews, but ya got me what thats all about. Personally, I have never felt slighted by the staff and I find the food great. Just dont get the chicken parm sandwich.
The Food is always cooked to perfection and the staff is excellent our waitress tonite 4/17/2021 Server #22 was absolute excellent we loved her personality and the fact that she knew her job and was quick and excellent customer service skills!
My wife and I had a very enjoyable meal. We started with a Frog Alley IPA and a mixed drink followed by house salads. The salads were fresh and included grape tomatoes, ripe olives, croutons, carrot and two different types of lettuce. One was pretty tough; I would have enjoyed a different mix more. The salad dressings were very good and tasted homemade. I had the Rattlesnake Pasta (chicken) with a spicy Alfredo sauce and rigatoni pasta. I paid $7 extra for 7 blackened shrimp added to the dish. The shrimp made the dish awesome. My wife had the shrimp scampi. 6 large shrimp were served over linguini and spinach with a lemon garlic sauce. The scampi was also very good. I would like to have had some bread served with the meal, but none was offered. The bill was $60 before tip.

Good bar if you want to talk to friends. Has seats and tables. Never over crowed and never empty. Staff are professional and nice. Beer selection is a bit lacking. Food is pricey but tasty. They have both indoor and gated outdoor seating. Definitely worth stopping by if youre in Schenectady

The service here was amazing, the girl behind the bar was so warm & friendly She was super sweet to me. Really recommend this place I got a tomato pepper bisque that was really good all very reasonably priced.
Giving this two stars, but only because the food was decent. We waited 53 minutes for two chicken sandwiches, in the 65° dining room. The best part was how we were quite literally the only table in the dining room for most of our visit. (There was a 4 person table that left about 20 minutes into our visit and a two top which left about 30 minutes in.) Also had to go find our server to give her our credit card just so we could leave. This was our second time here, and unfortunately we probably wont be returning as a result of the poor service.
The food at lunch is pretty good. During the summer the back patio is really nice. There is an upstairs for entertaining large parties and the staff is friendly. Only recommendation is for lunch get here at noon as the kitchen can get backed up due to its popularity.
Service is great! Every time we go the service is quick an very friendly! An the food omg its absolutely the best!! Love coming here. Esp love the boneless wings! Dont know how they do it but they know what their doing for sure when it comes to food an service!!
Looking for a lunch spot in Schenectady that would have something on the healthy side. To my surprise I enjoyed not only a healthy salad but one topped with a strip steak. Great atmosphere and service. We even lucked out and found a parking spot in their parking area just steps from the entrance.

I frequented Clintons ditch when I lived in Schenectady, especially in the summer. The outdoor patio with music is absolutely amazing. It is almost like a dance club outside, with an awesome bar inside and out! I was really impressed when they were able to keep the outside patio open during the winter when they closed it off and installed heaters. It made a great place to hang out. I would definitely recommend this place.

Worst venue I have ever been to. I went there to a party for a friend. They double booked the room we rented. Management was rude, obnoxious and lied to us. No refund. Our food was brought out and I never saw another server. They didnt even give us dressing for the salad. If your looking for a venue for a party, I recommend you stay far away from Clintons Ditch.
Had dinner here almost 2 months ago! Forgot to post! But I loved it! Food was good! And the staff was great too! For a simple date night it was perfect!
A really special place, with menu choices to interest all varieties of taste. 11 of us had a most enjoyable night celebrating a friends birthday. Menu selections from quesadillas to chicken marsala to pasta primavera to cuban sandwiches all with soup or side salads were enjoyed by all along with an equal variety of bar selections.
Friendliness of young lady Lily did not come along with professional cooking skills of kitchen staff at this time.151 chiefs should teach Clinton Ditch cooks.Anchovies side was great as boneless chicken wings from day before even but Steven Miller was dissatisfied with his pepperoni pizza side for sure.Please take skin off next time...and Miss Lily, thanks for your bartending service. You are sweetheart.
Everything was going fine until the end when the credit cards wouldnt go through. When our group asked about it, the waitress was unbelievably rude. When the manager (owner?) came over, he started yelling at us! We couldnt believe it!

This place could be decent if they had any concept of customer service. They randomly decide to switch to the late night menu early, or the kitchen is just inexplicably closed... so you show up expecting to get dinner only to be disappointed. The waitstaff and owner tend to be rude even to repeat customers. Dont bother eating outside... the dumpster is located right over the fence and there are constantly flies buzzing around while youre trying to eat. There are a few items on their menu that I really like, but the absolutely crappy service and random kitchen hours kill anything good this restaurant has going for it. Dont waste your time.
Excellent service, delicious food and a great atmosphere. We had a large group of 14 and the waitress and cook staff handled it well. Definitely recommend.

Descent food but that didnt make up for the lack of customer service. Waitstaff was really rude and not attentive what so ever. Not once was I asked for a refill, or if my food was ok. As soon as my food arrived to the table, which took about 45 min, I ordered a burger; I tried to ask the waitress for some mayo and a refill on my drink but she ran off before I could get a word in. Its a great place to have a cheap beer after work if youre sitting at the bar but a horrible place to dine at.

I frequently visit this restaurant for lunch with business clients and co workers. The food and service has always been excellent. We enjoy it there. Until our last visit. When we first got there the waiter asked immediately what we wanted to drink and we all said just water. He said great, Ill be back with the water and then get your order. All was great until we received our bill. We were charged for the tap water we drank. I am 60 years od and have never been charged for tap water in my life! I asked the waiter about this and he said this is a new policy we have, just instituted recently. The boss does the shopping sometimes and when he buys a case of lemons, and for what they cost, he decided to start charging for water as there is lemon in it. If you ordered a liquor drink and wanted water, we would give it to you but if yo jonly want water, we will charge you from now on. I asked what if I didnt want the lemon, would we still get charged? He laughed and said yes.If as restaurant owners, you want to save money spent for a slice of lemon, start asking patrons if they want lemon in their water or not. I think youd be suprised that most would not. As I look at it, why would I want a lemon that someone held in their hand (the rind), be placed into my drink? I might think different if the slice was placed on the rim, but not into my water.Not sure if Ill go back with any of my associates or business guests after the water charge incident. Very unfortunate as we are a Schenctady business, just down the road.

It was laid back when we went they were a hour from closing so it was laid back which is perfect for me and the wife cause we dont like a loud atmosphere or a huge party going on so it was perfect for us.
Cool location and menu looked great-however if you need gluten free or other special dietary need, there are no options and no accommodating.

2022-02-13My boyfriend and I went to Clintons to eat for the first time ever, we had a lot of choices of places to eat for our little Valentines Day/three year anniversary date (before going to see RENT at Proctors!), but we are so happy we landed on Clintons Ditch! Though it was a busy night so the food came out after a bit of a wait (understandably!) it was WELL worth the wait. Im already planning trips back with my family and friends because it was so delicious :) Our server was Hannah and there was a sweet woman who also helped us out. Hannah was an amazing server, so kind and quick! I hope she sees this so she knows! I highly recommend Clintons Ditch!

2022-06-20Our server was very pleasant. I dont recall her names but we talked about her babies and her tattoos, she was really friendly and we enjoyed her help. The food was good. I had a Buffalo chicken wrap and waffle fries they were delicious. Another had a quesadilla which looked great and she said tasted good. I dont recall what everyone else had but everyone enjoyed their meal. We liked the outdoor seating so we could enjoy the sunshine and warm weather.

2022-06-19Loved this place! They had our take-out order fast and got all our items correct. They even gave us extra ketchup. The food was amazing, especially the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. It has a fantastic flavor and tasted very fresh. The waffle fries were a plus! Would highly recommend this place and the service!

2022-06-21Went on a Monday evening. Selected the restaurant because they were one of the few places open on a Monday. We appreciated the outside patio option to avoid eating indoors due to Covid risk. The food was delightful. The personal pizza was wonderful, excellent sausage as topping.

2022-02-27Food was good, our waitress was great even though she had 2 huge groups to take care of and was running around like a madwoman. Not sure if it was the owner, but he was doing “let’s go Brandon” chants with one of the groups and kind of ruined the dinner atmosphere.

2022-05-14Stopped in for a bite to eat yesterday and we ordered the sausage and pepper sandwich and the French dip both sandwiches were 90% bread. The sausage sandwich might of had one link cut up in it and the French dip was about the same. Service was ok, the servers pay more attention to the men at the bar. Not worth the money, better options in Schenectady.

2022-05-17Menu says dishes come with 2 sides, but the choices arent on the menu. After we gave our cards to pay, got a paper that they added a surcharge for using a credit card. NOT a good surprise. Service ok.
