Gregorys Coffee in other cities:
I wish I could give them a zero. I was in the city and wanted to try Gregorys coffee , it was the first and last time that I will ever go there. We bought some of their sweets and when I took another piece of the blueberry muffin there was something white and stretchy, I didnt know what it was at first, I brought in and they said it was a GLOVE, I have never been so disgusted in my life , I felt.like I was gonna throw up , one of the workers said I couldnt use the bathroom I had to wait for the manager to.let me go and throw up. They took our information saying that the company would reach out to me , but they never did, not even to apologize or see if I was ok. They said the muffins come from another location and not baked on site, the manager was apologetic and refunded us and offered us free coffee but I was too disgusted.still waiting for a call ...
I haven’t been to this location in a while but decided to go back with a co worker of mine on break and it was divine. Such an amazing atmosphere in a coffee shop and much cleaner now. I usually get regular black coffee however the barista suggested the toasted marshmallow and it was amazing. Was taken care of by Nadia I believe; very nice staff all around.
Friendly greeting upon walking in, they offer some nontraditional coffees as well as standard fare. Pastry selection is full and enticing unlike those green Seattle guys who too often look old and picked over. Coffee was good. Donut holes were comped (but be reasonable, people). Overall very nice spot to get a pick me up out of the elements.
The last 3 times I ordered there they jammed so much ice into my $4.00 drink I couldn’t put a straw in it. I asked them to correct it (which they did) but I am a regular: Do you need to be reminded every time? Anyway, not going there anymore, plenty of Starbucks nearby.
Espresso was so small I was was about to tell the to keep it and than I tasted it and was happy there was no more left. It was so bitter I almost spit it out. Was it an egg was it bacon I dont think so but the nyer was equally disgusting. They dont take cash.the place looks great but dont judge a book by its cover.
Gregorys proves becoming successful doesnt mean indifference to customers and coffee. Im talking about you large chain named after a character in a Melville novel. Gregorys has great coffee and overall beverage choices and delish food choices too. Become a Gregular, how can you not love that name, for discounts and specials. I did, and Im basically antisocial. Heck, Im still on MySpace.
Tried cappuccinos several times - always too hot, milk sweetness is gone, very little foam. Sadly, the days of better baristas, as it started at the original Park Ave location, are long gone. Nowadays Gregorys is just a slightly better Starbucks. For a better cappuccino head to the Blue Bottle Coffee just a block away (more expensive though).
The coffee was great but not quite worth the price the food is underwhelming at best. I was expecting more I guess. The place is very trendy looking and expensive so a sandwich made on a $50 panini press using pre made food was definitely a let down. More than likely will not go back.
Very rich coffee ... good served as it should in crockery cups.It has a wide variety of international coffees to choose from. Also the premises of this chain are not very large but they are just enough to house the coffee, pastry and own products for sale. The price is normal. It is very well attended and local lis are very clean.Calmer than Starbucks.

2022-08-05I haven’t been to NYC in several years so I decided to walk the area and get a feel for the city. I love a good Matcha Latte (iced of course) so I decided to try something other than ⭐️ bucks. I found this coffee shop and said let’s give this a try. The aesthetic was pleasant and displays of food and such were visually pleasing. I’m a “customer service” person and I didn’t receive a friendly service experience. I’m a personable individual and love to engage with those I encounter. My server wasn’t pleasant at all, he even seems agitated/irritated while taking my order. I was rude or dismissive.. I even tipped. I wrote this in hopes that the gentleman who served me an hour ago sees this and changes either his attitude or job because people who are kind deserve kindness in return.

2022-08-02This used to be a pretty decent coffee shop, but going there is infuriating now. If you order on the mobile app, be ready to wait for 20 minutes for your order even though it claims it will be ready in 5. Have had so many bad experiences here.

2022-07-215 stars for service at this location, friendly and helpful.1 star for the food, the options are so sugary and unhealthy.I tried to get the breakfast power bowl (almond butter oats) and although the app allowed me to place the order and charged me for it, the location wasn’t able to fulfill the order and could only offer me coconut oats or pb&j oats. The coconut oats were so full of sugar and so light on protein - it was disgusting. The pb&j oats have strawberry jam and other sweeteners. I have also had their chai a number of times and it is so sweet. I would not consume food at Gregory’s again.

2021-08-18Gregory’s has great coffee but this location has the COFFEE and the VIBES. It was nice to see a friendly face from my go-to location downtown (Nadiaaaa!) she made me switzh from a regular deluxe to a vegan version (Fyi: I hate vegetales) and she was not wrong! The food is good, coffee is great and so is the staff! See y’all next week!

2021-08-16I wandered around the area since I am visiting from France and stumbled upon this amazing shop at the 52nd and Madison Avenue. I had a freshly baked chocolate croissant and an espresso which the lovely staff were so kind enough to make. Very welcoming and friendly and accommodating shop best around the area

2022-03-07Never greeted or say Good Morning. They talk among themselves as if your not there. Very unprofessional. Better off going to Starbucks I just love the vegan burrito

2019-12-18A coffee shop that truly stands out in the middle of Manhattan. I changed my mind about the coffee I ordered halfway through the barista making it and he was happy to accommodate me. They have a wonderful variety of coffee as well as non-coffee beverages and the food is also noteworthy. Love the seating and the fact that they have power sockets and a bathroom.
