This location has mostly standing countertops and only 2 small tables, but you can go to the nice indoor atrium next to the Starbucks for more seating. Received excellent service from Ismael... give that man a raise!
Too cramped. The place is literally so small you have to reach over people to get your drink. I guess that works for some people, but not for me. I mean the staff is ok and its typical starbucks food so nothing stood out spectacular. I just dont know why they would choose such a place. And during busy hours lines literally exist the building, better to go somewhere else.
I dont know what time the guests come in with these positive reviews because I visited this location in the evening after rush hour and had a terrible experience. Was polite to ask for my drink and it was awful. I walked to the next Starbucks across the park because I thought I could just get someone better to make it then I was told by the manager Starbucks policy is to only make it where you bought it. The venti was full to the top and all I needed was a sip to tell they put the wrong stuff into it yet they wouldnt remake it and said that they are told that the costumer has to call their service number. Seriously. No thank you anymore. Will go to a real coffeehouse and there many great ones in the city.
Customer service sucks: they started off with making fun of my name. Adding to the insult they misheard my order & made feel awkward about THEM mishearing it. Then I said I wanted my money back and didnt want to he cashier rolled his eyes.
Bad attitude. I have been waiting for the drink for at least half hour. Few people behind me already got the drink. Finally, drink is there but she is not put the cream and talk to her coworker. So l ask her can she give the drink first. She was very impatient to put the tap on and give me. I said you didnt put the cream yet. She was so mad to put the cream and her coworker told me got to said thank you.
THE WORST Starbucks location in the entire city! The company needs to do refresher courses for employees who get too comfy in their locations. Staff was unnecessarily RUDE and it was not rush hour (not that its ever allowed but sometimes understandable). Not sure if its possible, but my coffee tastes burned. no bueno :(
Ordered a Summer Sunrise, waited for over 10mins, and got a cup taste like water thing. When asked for how long its gonna take, the girl said I dont know how long its gonna take, Im not the one whos making it. The guy whos making my drink clearly dont know how, and none of his team member care to help. If you ever wanna try new thing, save your time, dont try it here.
This location never has mobile orders ready. Whats the point of ordering ahead if it takes longer to get them just waiting in line. Multiple times Ive had to ask if they received my order. This past time they told me I need to let them know when I come in so they can make my drink that I ordered through the app. That defeats the entire purpose of using the app. If Im gonna wait in line to let them know Ive arrived at the location to wait for them to make a drink. I order ahead of time so its ready when I walk in. I want to grab my drink and go
Always packed, with mobile orders lagging behind all other orders. God bless the tourists who dont know what they want when its their turn to order.If youre meeting up with someone here, dont confuse this Starbucks with the one on 39th and 6th (which is equally horrific in terms of service).
I ordered from the app exactly 15 mins before arriving, there was no reason my order didnt start being mate till I arrived. They acted as if they didnt even know my order existed, then got it wrong. 1 drink and a pastry.
Sucked. When i finally got my drink they didnt even make it right to then have to wait to get the baristas attention and she caught an attitude. Condiment bar was a mess. Partners could stand to be A LOT more friendlier and say thank you after each hand off. Place is cramped but what could really change the experience is the workers. Never stopping by this location again.
Nasty manager. There are 10 people standing waiting for their drinks. A bunch of non-customers lingering in the corner getting free AC. We pay and stand by the counter where the napkins and sugar are near the front door and he’s yelling at us that we can’t stand their because we are near the front door. I say “well we can’t stand over there because there’s no room” He yells out to me with an attitude “Oh you wanna stand there and get hit by the door?” All nasty and with an attitude. U are working at a closet sized Starbucks so how are U going to give me an attitude? How about you figure out why their are 10-12 people waiting for drinks instead of yelling at customers who are paying your salary.
This has to be one the smallest Starbucks ever.Located directly across from Bryant Park, ON WEEKDAYS, there is a steady line to get into this location.The store has the basic Starbucks setup, but there is no seating or any place to stand while waiting for your beverage/food.The staff is decent, efficient and pleasant considering the place is constantly filled with customers.If you need more space I suggest walking across the street to the Starbucks in the one Bryant Park Building. Yeah, right across the street from one another.
Very little room inside, but if you can get a seat its an excellent space to do work (good wifi, as all Starbucks) while simultaneously doing a bit of people watching. Salted caramel frappuccino for the win.
43rd and 6th Avenue NYC, worst possible Starbucks! I supposed to get a coffee in 5 min, but after waiting for 20 min she told me they dont have milk for that coffee. I asked for refund and then she yelled at me because i didnt know where to go in the app for a refund. Rude to all customers!
Its just your average everyday Starbucks nothing spectacular nothing horrible just a good place to get your coffee and sandwiches and treats and is just a nice place I would recommend this as your primary coffee place its not always going to be a quick grab and go but the coffee is pretty good so its worth the wait
A very small Starbucks. I was early enough (6:50 am) to not have to wait in a huge line. I ordered my coffee and breakfast and went and sat in Bryant Park to eat it. Overall not bad.
Very cramped Starbucks; it can get crowded. No seating--this is grab and go. That said, service is generally fast and friendly. Go across the street to the Starbucks within the Northeast corner of the Bank of America Building (43rd &6th) if you want a larger, more relaxed, less claustrophobic space to sip your frappuccino.
The Worst.So, they have entrances both on 6th and 42nd, I pushed the door on 42nd, and got in, and the lady working there looked at me like I was trash, she was incredibly rude. If I wasnt supposed to use that door, they shouldve locked it, not treated a customer so badly. She just kept looking at me, locked the door, and didnt took my order, just leaned in the counter waiting for someone else to go downstairs and talk to me. Im never going back there.
How is it that I ask for a specific starbucks product and the barista looks at me like im crazy? There’s nothing more annoying than an employee who is ignorant of their own product. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.
Was there 10:50pm and they had already closed their registers but said if. I had a card was fine. I dont appreciate their business and they shouldnt be on a rush to close if they close at 11 their registers should b able to take cash as well as credit.
No idea why that fat girl is still working there. I didnt care to know her name. Shes rude and impatient.Managers need to be aware of the kind of people they hire. You cant hire trash and expect gold.
I went in 4 time giving them the benefit of the doubt that they know the difference between white hot chocolate and whats mocha, and they always got it wrong....pist me off but they ghetto in there that if I say something I feel like they ganna beat me up.......also they have really inappropriate conversation
Tightly compacted café with standing room only serving up Starbucks finest in one of Manhattans busiest intersection and pedestrian thoroughfare. Good for [the] True-Blue on-the-go-back- to-back-pick-me-up-Joe java jive ! Otherwise a little too small to dote on anything for seated lounging, or workspaces.
Every time I come here, my order is something I wish never existed. When I ask them to fix it, they look at it. Then add a new lid to my coffee. Idk why I keep coming here. This is an abusive relationship. Try the one on 42nd and Madison.
Good family style Cuban food, especially the Chuletas and Pernil. Make sure they give you the green sauce.However, the prices have been steadily rising throughout the years likely due to the rising cost of store rentals in the FiDi area from the World Trade Center tourist attraction. The price of the food will soon outweigh the quality of the food.
Rude staff that would rather be on their phones than take my order. I had to repeat it to her 3 times because she was busy on her phone the first 2. Theyre laughing and passing the phone around and gossiping then take orders after theyre done. Worst Starbucks Ive been to.

Its close to Bryant Park. Thats the only reason to come here. Get your coffee and sit in the park. Theres no seating here. Its tiny and packed.My latté was more milk than coffee! Definitely was not asking for all those calories... :(
Not only was the classic coffee made well, but the customer service was also excellent. The disposition of the Baristas at this location are always very polite and kind.
Slow service! I wasnt running late to a show, and then all of a sudden because of this Starbucks, I was. Had to dash before I even got my drink. It was a $5.13 L that I did not appreciate.
Much better Starbucks than others in the area - bigger and with generally less tourists than the ones on 6th and 7th Aves. However if you go during the weekday rush, be prepared for long lines of businessmen, especially from the BofA building that its attached to.
Its got a chill vibe too it. Right near Bryant so you can sit and drink your coffee in the park. No seating whatsoever unfortunately.

I went to buy a NY mug that my friend asked me to do. When I removed the lid of the case, I broke the box and told him to change it because it was a gift. However, when I came home, it was torn again. Even though I told them that it was a gift, I think the service of handing it over is terrible. I suspect that making drinks is also terrible.
Better go to any of the hundreds of Starbucks around. The person who treated us did it as if he were forgiving us and without any kind of sympathy. I think its the first time that I come out discontent with a site in this chain.
Its the shame of any Starbucks store on the planet. I understand that the place is small but that the clerk expels you from the place once you order coffee with your 75-year-old mother and in very bad ways it is priceless, the black boy should look for another type of work since he has no idea of Customer Support. It calls into question the reputation of such a reputable coffee shop. The service is poor, my English is not good, I go to consume, the waiter stares at me, and has no patience to listen to what I said, and orders coffee that I do n’t know. Later, I told the coffee maker to exchange the coffee for me. The good mood was wiped out because of his service attitude. Its really annoying.

2022-01-24Just came from there, not sure if Aliza on register was new but I order a drink and after multiple times of repeating my order and even her repeating back to me she still made wrong. Wanted to go back for a refund but not worth my time she seem to have an attitude. I guess Starbucks is not for me anymore

2020-02-21What is going on with Newyork City Starbucks! No restrooms.. Not particularly clean. The baristas are not so great... I understand they are busy.... Order food with my Tea and had to wait a long time for my food... they were making regulars there orders first. I understand loyalty.Always remember that the best customer service is to treat everyone with respect.

2018-07-10Absolutely love Starbucks!!!! Fantastic staff who are extremely attentive to their customers. Fresh food, although there can be a larger selection in my humble opinion. Otherwise, a very good experience. Fast service and the order did not take long at all even though there were many, many people in the store at the time we were there having lunch.

2020-02-09I always love Starbucks and will after the somewhat bad experience I had this morning. During the week the staff is so friendly and know me well in the store at 43and 6th ave , on the weekend it is totally different, ordered a vinti pike this morning it was cold, I ask her to change it for me she had an attitude and gave me a different blend like dark roast or something! That messed up my whole morning, now I am stuck with a nasty coffee that I dont want!

2018-12-25I visited this store in May and have never witnessed such a negative attitude from staff and they even got my order wrong. Today (December) it was a great improvement! Staff were friendly and my coffee was great. Sure it’s cramped in the store but speedy, friendly staff who get it right makes up for it. Keep it up, please! Such a great location!
