I moved into Colonie East Apartments in August 2021. From the moment I called the office to inquire about apartment availability to today, Kaitlyn has been nothing less than amazing. She’s so attentive to detail, understanding, funny and down to earth. Anything I ask for gets addressed immediately and she really knows how to make this place feel like home. Needless to say, I will definitely be renewing my lease!!

I lived here for two years, and it was a bad experience. An ice storm dislodged my front door lock, and management told me to fix it myself. It then took maintenance four days before they came to fix it, so we had no front door lock for four days. The shower randomly stopped working, maintenance didnt fix it for three days, and said it broke because the tap was too old. The air conditioning broke during a heat wave, and maintenance didnt come to fix it for three days. Even when fixed, the temperature would not go below 74 degrees, and management told us that was because the air conditioners were old and overworked. We had a mouse problem that management told us they would address, but when we moved out five months later, they still had not addressed it. I dont recommend this complex.

I had a list of numerous “specifics” while searching for an apartment and after a year of searching, narrowed it down to 2 complexes and was on both wait lists. Happily, we ended up at Colonie East. Kaitlyn, the mgr is extremely responsive and was always ready to answer a question pre-move. Grounds are beautifully maintained and outside upgrades are ongoing. Very quiet pet friendly community. Only issue is that most use of clubhouse/business office are still unusable due to covid restrictions. We are extremely pleased to have found a comfortable new home , our first apartment after 50 years of home ownership.

I am moving out within the next month, finally closing on a house! Wanted to write a review, which I am not one to normally do. Been living in one of the apartments for 2 years now and would have stayed longer if I didnt make a move to home ownership. The office manager Shari has been absolutely amazing from the beginning! Had an issue with my dishwasher, they replaced it within 2 days. Any maintenance was handled immediately. No issues with outrageous heating bills or any pests. Great experience! Definitely recommend! Especially, with the convenience of location, being close to all the the local shopping and restaurants!

Outstanding!!! I have lived in Colonie East Apartments for 5 years and have nothing but good things to say. The office manager is very approachable and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Any maintenance issues Ive had were resolved within 24 hours, most of the time the same day. The property management listens to the residents and has been making a lot of upgrades to the property. I know there are more to come and I cannot wait to see when they are all finished.

Ive lived at Colonie East for 2 years and love it. The staff is very helpful, and all work orders for my apartment have been handled within 2 days.The gym, pool, and BBQ areas are all very convenient to have access to.Overall, a great experience!

Loved living here! The staff was super helpful, and the apartments were well-maintained. Its an especially fun community to be in if you have a dog - there were always tons of friendly people out walking their pups. Maintenance was always very quick to get out and resolve issues, though we had very few in our time of living there! Hated that we had to move out of the area; we would have loved to live there longer. Would highly recommend!

Pretty terrible place to live. Had a bee and mouse problem that the complex wouldnt do anything about. Also had issues with the neighbors over any noise above speaking levels. Had several power outages where portions of my building were without power for a few hours. Lastly when leaving I was stiffed on a good portion of my security deposit with unsupported reasons. The only reason I gave this one star was because of the location and the apartment was a good size. I DO NOT recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

I have lived here for 6 years and everyone is so helpful. If I have a problem or concern its addressed and fixed efficiently and quickly. In the winter I have no problems getting my car out because they plow the parking lots Day and night. In the summer, the grounds are mowed and very well groomed. I would highly recommend anyone to come in and check the apartnents out. The staff couldnt be friendlier and efficient. You wont be sorry
