This establishment deserves 6 stars. The location is convenient, stylishly decorated and relaxing. The staff is accommodating, pleasant (very) and professional. Their THC products are the highest (no pun intended) quality and are extremely effective for relieving pain. They sell dozens of high end and very high end CBD products that run the gamut from relaxing to staying sharp (in fact, one of my favorites is a product from Plant People called just that: Stay Sharp). While many dispensaries are notorious for long waits, Columbia gets me in and out relatively quickly. Just a fantastic, efficient, well-run organization with top notch products. I cant say enough good things about this place. Also, due to how quickly they get you out of there, it is never crowded. I hope this review does not change that!:-O
I had my first experience today at Columbia Care Manhattan. The staff could not have been more accommodating or professional. The security and receptionists were a pleasure to deal with. My pharmacist was Tricia, she was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, did not rush me. The facility was clean and comfortable. I had an appointment and filled out their required paperwork ahead of time, so the whole thing went smoothly.
The best dispensary in Manhattan always have the products I need in stock. The pharmacist Tricia explained everything to me in depth my first visit and helped me pick out the products that work best for me. Now I use express ordering and I’m in and out in 5 minutes. The vape quality is a lot better than the other garbage out there! Very clean, helpful staff, and pleasant experience all around!
I visited Columbia Care for the first time today. the experience was fantastic from start to finish. I was a bit apprehensive at first because of some of the negative reviews I read, but I wonder what the reviewers were on before the arrived at the dispensary. From the 2 guards at the door, to the receptionist, to the woman who did my intake to the cashier, it was a great experience. Everyone was pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and really seemed to care. There were complaints about the selection and the prices, but had the reviewers done their due diligence they would have found that any N.Y. State dispensary works under a ton of state regulations for, among other things how much they charge and what they can sell (and that does not include only the plant which is only available in Colorado or on a street corner near you.)Finally, their products are for pain, not pleasure. Im grateful that I can now stop taking Vicodin and Advil, both of which have serious drawbacks. Thanks to all of you at Columbia Care, and keep up the great work.
Professional nice folks, they will accommodate any scheduling emergencies you may have, love the location and all forms of payments, debit cards, credit cards, cash etc ... However ! I had the same experience as the other customers review with regard to broken units , their Vapes are poor quality. My Vape oil came completely out with out my unit ever falling or breaking , it just came out the cartridge just came apart. I called them and sent an email and to no avail No one ever called me back. This dispensary has since risen 2016 to the top! All Medical Cannabis Products has greatly improved! Im very proud of their Updates since 2016! Keep up the great work!
Was able to try out all 3 new Flower products. Let me say, dont waste your money. The product is more CBD than THC.. Now I know why it comes as grounded flower in the jars. They add so much CBD that the normal person wouldnt be able to tell the difference. Black market is still cheaper & better for flower with multiple and better strains that can still help some ones health.
So this is my first time having a medical card we all have been reading about it for years yes nyc wants to be like California. I was skeptical about it the flow comes grounded up I was like eh takes the fun out of your playing with your product. But hands down the stuff is amazing the sour kush u better get it while you can the oil is amazing does the job and more I smoke less bc of this stuff my joints and lungs doesnt hurt clean stuff get carded folks.
Having never used marijuana I was a bit timid about the whole process. I had many questions and anxiety. The staff made me feel very comfortable and explained all of the choices and details completely. I was able to make the best choice for my type of pain and they were very patient with all of my questions. The location itself is secure and very pleasant. The staff is kind and knowledgeable and treats you with dignity and respect, and seems genuinely concerned about their patients well being. I would seriously recommend Columbia to everyone with a condition that can be helped by medical marijuana.
Great staff and pharmacists. I had a faulty vape cartridge, but they replaced it within 48 hours. As for appointment wait times, I was in and out within 30 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. That said, I understand why their scheduling may get backed up; this is a new form of medication in NYC and some patients may have a lot of questions and concerns. It will only get better.
I really cant take any pictures of the place but I am now a medical marijuana card holder. I had stopped in to see what they offered. There are no flowers here because it is only legal for medical and not recreational. The prices arent that bad. The quality is pretty good not crazy strong. The pharmacist is very helpful in finding what you need and what will help. When I run out Ill go and reup.
Ive gone here about four times now and I always get staff who are knowledgeable and caring. I think people who are leaving negative comments need to do their own research before going. NYC does not currently allow medical marijuana to be smoked in flower form so this is not the fault of the dispensary itself. The amount of flowers that go into making the oils etc is A LOT so the price has to match so they can continue to provide a service. I currently cant work and Im waiting for disability but I understand the process and amounts etc that go into making the products they offer because I did my own research. Just like regular pharmacies are not going to know all interactions with every medication out on the market the pharmacists here shouldnt be expected to provide such information that is not yet available. The key to any medication combination including medical marijuana is to educate yourself and do your own research before you jump into something. We each need to take responsibility for our medical needs and stop expecting everyone else to just hand us what we need. Ive had nothing but pleasant experiences with Columbia Care and would recommend them to anyone who qualifies for medical marijuana. The only thing I would change is having the ability to have my script delivered which I have been told is currently in the works. A+ Columbia care. So UPDATE: I had to stop using their products because of the additives they used were causing me to go blind. When I questioned them they said it was something else. I did switch to a Yonkers dispensary and havent had any issues at all with my vision or anxiety kicking up.
This location had a buy one get one free. The pills are all expiring this month they are useless to me and very expensive. Theraceed. I bought these to have for a few months since I cannot afford the product. I called yesterday and have not hear back...this is not good business practice, they are doing the right thing updated my review
The Columbia Care personnel were the nicest people I had the pleasure to deal with. Every question I had were answered in a way that I could easily understand. Also, their offices were immaculate and beautifully decorated. I left after my first visit with complete satisfaction!
I was excited to visit a NY dispensary after receiving my card. Now, not so much. Columbia care put more money into the decor. than they did with hiring personable and caring staff. If this is supposed to be a program based on compassion Columbia Care should not be in business. Disappointed at the very least. Product review: 3 out of 10.
Absolutely rip off prices . A small bottle of oil would last a week I was told and it was $79If you buy online you can get a month supply for that . Nothing there was less that one hundred not to mention the MMcard which was 250 dollars. So it’s a big money maker and I wonder how people with no money do it. They don’t - they get it way cheaper on the street.
They are very nice and compassionate. This is a place where you need to be in the mmp program and have all your paperwork with you when you arrive. Also take cash since they dont take cards.. Its just because banks dont /wont work with them because Ganja is still a schedule 1 drug.
After calling 3 days in a row and not getting in touch with a pharmacist (after I was promised they would call me back)... Ashley wasnt able to answer my questions so she hung up on me. Twice.Additionally, Julie the manager of the tri-state area is rude and condescending.I was a loyal customer here for almost a year.. and now Ill never visit again.Pricing wasnt spectacular enough to deal with the rude customer service.
Very nice people, but the products are so chemicalized.I wish that they would just have a simple cannabis oil or edibles, but what they do have seems more pharmaceutical than any prescription that Ive ever been given in a hospital. The tinctures that I bought, burn my mouth like crazy- theylll say that they are ingredients added to help the efficacy. I dont buy it, The oil that Ive gotten from a friend was natural, less expensive and MUCH more effective. They only take cash ( not their fault), so be aware when you go.
Received two faulty units for $200. They dont return phone calls. Its 48 hours since I left a message about units not working. Apparently they dont care at all and lots of other reviewers have had the same experience with being sold malfunctioning units. Also twice the price of products in other markets. While I was in the private consultation room a child about 8 years old bursted in. Why are children even allowed inside? They were unable to identify their strains or terpene profiles in products. Disappointed.
Meh, not terrible not great. At first I was very impressed with the prices, very affordable!Until I realized that they have far less active ingredients then the previous clinic I tried. After my last experience with pills I stayed clear of their pills, maybe Ill try them in the future though. I sprung for the Vape Liquid and Tincture this time.Tincture is not for me! Because of my condition it caused severe irritation and burning. With research it turns out it has alcohol in it!The Vape liquid wasnt bad. However it was weak, I needed to consume a third of it to find relief.Quite the drive from where I am maybe if I was closer it would be more worth it. Ill probably try another clinic.
I guess its better than nothing ! but much more pricey. They finally got flower. its ground flour ,but it taste like ground seed and twigs.I got the sativa selection.bits of twig and white UFO (unknown filament objects) throughout and in the hybrid.Whomever prepared this , must not smoke it! harshness! What a drag when you cant even get some good blue dream or facsimile bud in NYC. sad that this is what were stuck with. it certainly doesnt represent..... imogenei still use rolling papers .its a shame the marijuanna is ground. you dont have a chance to pick out the twigs b4 they go put in the grinder .its filled with filaments & mini twigs that, I guess Im supposed to Vape that drekk. I dont spend that much cash to send it up volcano style. I can grind my own weed .it doesnt make sense why u do it for me .so MediHaze tastes horrible. in no way herbal .dont bother
This has to be the worst dispensary not only in New York but ever. The quality of the products are so bad and the ingredients should be illegal not the Marijauna. This place should be avoided because not only is it overpriced, the service you get is as bad as the quality you’re buying. Not to mention the overzealous toy cop they have on site.
This is a judgement free zone for those with chronic pain. Members of the public can now come in without a medical marijuana card for a curated selection of CBD based (non psychoactive) products, from edibles, skin creams, and more. You may want to try this instead of smoke shops, as the environment is quiet and a friendly office. For those who have a card, the pharmacists can over time help you fine tune your prescribed formula(s) (sublingual, suppository, pill or vaporizer) to your needs. They listen and explain well. While not cheap, costs are often not that much more than what you pay out of pocket if your accustomed to the costs of supplements and alternative medical care; discounts (to date) have been available for those on Medicaid/SSDI- be sure to ask if you are disabled.
My experience at Columbia Health was tremendous. The front desk agent was quick and matter of fact. The lobby seemed a bit staril at first but I warmed up to the minimalistic chic design with great pictures of cola flowers. I didnt wait long to see the internist then Dr ESA who were both pleasant and great listeners. Dr Esa explained the administration of medicine and cost effectiveness of each choice. Checking out was easy and swift with sincerity coming from everyone. I even received a gracious goodbye from both the front desk agent and security guard. As a 25 year veteran of the restaurant industry and hospitality industry I honestly say I had a phenomenal, compassionate experience.
I am glad to hear that someone had a good experience, I can not say the same. The staff was uncaring and I felt rushed through the entire process. I also thought seeking treatment with marijuana would be a healthy organic alternative to my other prescribed meds, but it seems that they add just a much synthetic chemicals to their products as pharmaceutical companies. Nothing pure about their product, I dont understand why they would adulterate a natural product, poor quality. I left without purchasing anything but will be searching other dispensaries to see if any have a natural plant product. Shame on them for manipulating nature.
Cammy at the front is amazing! She is always in a pleasant mood, she pays close attention to patients needs, and she’s talented amongst a series of other positive attributes. The pharmacist however- subpar. You’re just a another corpse, pick out your weed and get out. Insult to injury there’s so much academic arrogance going on that some employees forget it’s okay to speak in laymen’s so that everyone understands you effectively. The marijuana is of good quality but there are kinks to wherever the product is being imported for (bc we know it’s not being made in ‘Merica. I would be petty and call out names- I’m better than that. On the plus side Cammy a complete stranger is a huge assest to the company.Sincerely,Chris Watson
Very Disrespectful and hurtful experience, yes, the guard they had in there today at 4:30pm. Relocating from PR due to the disaster and trying to get information, help. I am a licensed patient and he practically pushed me out the door and would NOT ALLOW ME TO FINISH 1 SENTENCE. I wanted information, at least a bit of empathy, respect, and of course to be treated humanely. People who visit are sick and he has NO idea of what, THEREFORE the SERVICE should be accordance to the service given to ill human beings. AWEFUL!!!!
If you are interested in medical marijuana, I strongly suggest that you purchase flowers. The price for this place is the most expensive out of all dispensaries. From experience, the tintures are a complete waste of money. Vape pens are okay, but you can buy a quarter of a ounce for less than a vape pen, (exotic, high thc weed). A vape pen is less equivalent to a $20 of a high quality flower. So pay $80-100 for a vape or roll your own for relief two to three times longer. You can also look up online and make your own vape juice from flowers. I just did chemo yesterday, and its a shame with the pricing of medical marijuana. If youre not rich and have money to waste, I suggest finding someone to buy marijuana from, if it truly helps you. The laws need to be revised for medical marijuana patients so that they can purchase and utilize marijuana in flower form with their ID. I see this whole business as a way to try to get rich off the ill and sickly. Columbia is the top crook of them all. The instructions for the vape pen is to inhale and hold smoke for 5 seconds, do the same with a real flower and you will find that the effect will be the same, but will more than likely last longer.
I was coming over to get my medical marijuana for the first time because it had nice reviews by my friend n internet so i decided to come by in a cab i usually dont do that but i wanna to see the city n get some fresh air. see do to my ms n everything that comes with it n my arthris in my hips n having vrago its pretty difficult but just like m.s. warriors before me i push thru it as i like to call it chin up chest out .but as i ride along to my destination i started to feel ill i was havin motion sickness n not doing so good i got to Columbia care n i was greeted at the door by a two young ladies but one of them was really nice to me n she gave me the up most respect n care really like there last name Columbia do really care but do to my m.s i forgot there name but most diffanaly much love n respect to those women. But once I get there name Ill do it again with there name n for the young women that so greatly to care of me u rock n u have a customer for life thanx again .. all i ask we gotta get kooler vape pens lol but over all Columbia care is wear its at for sure ..bless all that has this m.s. keep on warriors .
This is a nice spot . Set up like a hole in the wall . But hey it is Weed where talking about so its set up similar. To the spots where you used to get weed in the first place . Stores set up with items that never move . This you dont need two year old chips . This you need a doctors prescription
Calming waiting room, well lit, drinking fountain, clean bathroom, hand sanitizer. The staff and pharmacists are both very knowledgeable and courteous. Prices are competitive within New York state. If you are new to the NYS MMP, please know that it is arguably the strictest in the USA and many of the rules are set by the State, not the dispensaries. Most complaints of dispensaries Ive seen here are actually the compromises necessitated by the Madisonian process of democratic compromise in the legislative branch of NYS. Many are skeptical of medicinal cannabis and fear its effect on society at large. Its necessary to jump through the hoops we compromised on in the beginning of the program to prove to the naysayers that the juice is worth the squeeze.
They didnt let me in today. The security guard said I would be better served somewhere else even though I presented my credentials and be a patient in NYC. I have never been treated like this in my life and to say this company are blatant racists is an understatement. #blacklivesmatterNYC
Horrible, so very rude on the phone. Dispensaries NEED to understand that we are medical patients... Not drug addicts and now knowing that Goldman Sachs owns this place, its not constructed to fit our medical needs but to increase their profits.... Their are way to many companies making money off our illness, its disgusting. Shame on you....This needs to stop

2020-11-17Nice building, and nice bright interior. The front desk workers should be trained to let the guests know of the multiple menu books laying around before ordering. The menu books are out of range of view from the front desk. The station I payed at in the back room, was janky and out of position. I had to reach behind the door to insert my card, and the attendant didn’t seem very phased...if I’m spending over $100 a visit, I’d like a proper pay area.I recommend the hybrid ground flower for highest THC ratio, and strength. Overall a nice visit, just a few tips up above.

2022-02-20Service and prices are great, I only wish they had more variety of potent flowers.UPDATE: My wish came true, nowadays (feb 2022) they do have more variety not only in flowers but cartridges, gummies, you name it! By far the best place in NY.

2020-02-23First time buyers get good discounts. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating. The marijuana tastes like a combination of coconut and vomit.

2020-09-17First time. Nobody walked me through the product. Very nice, but had they told me their tincture was alcohol based, would have skipped it. Had they mentioned that there were books on their product, with price lists, all over the waiting room, and to take my time and come back to order, that would have been lovely! Ground flower looks like what used to come out of Curaleaf pods, but uglier. The Hybrid is probably the best of the bunch.

2017-03-27Well some others here might have been to a different place than I visited this morning because I found everyone at this dispensary to be very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The physician my wife and I spoke with was very patient and understanding and answered all our questions. Honestly we couldnt have been happier with our experience. I never felt uneasy or like I was doing something illegal in any way whatsoever. And of course the doors close....dont they all? You get what you put out. Anyway very positive experience all around. Now well see how the product works. But as far as the facility and the people on staff there? Absolutely top notch!!!!
