This market is great. Though the market only opens during the holidays, its a great thing to look forward to. The market serves a variety of good food, even gluten free for my allergic brother. Hot chocolate was given out for free at one of the markets as well. Some of the stands are a bit pricey, but the stuff is usually high quality. The variety of things sold here is great, considering Ive bought presents for all of my family members here.
Best holiday market Ive been to, even better than Bryant Parks! Its more casual and set up in a way that encourages interaction between vendors and customers. Central Park is just beyond the circle. You can see it and the horses, and smell them to! Lots of vendors and many who are one location types of vendors, so this is your only opportunity to see them. A very friendly atmosphere. Well worth the visit!
Got a beautiful hand stitched ornament and blown glass cruets which were gorgeous and well priced. Many things at different stations were very pricey. It was raining when I went, wish there were more spaces to duck out of rain. They had mulled wine, cider and hot chocolates
This market is becoming slightly dated. Having been coming here now for about 7 years or so, its the same vendors over and over again. The high star rating is because the vendors are all top notch, and if its your first time visiting then by all means definitely check it out. A large percentage of the vendors are jewelers FYI. The expanding food court and addition of alcohol is definitely a boost to this holiday staple.
Overrated. I love a good Christmas market, but was hoping for more ready-made things to eat. The spaces were super compact. I had to hold my kids hands so tight so they didnt get lost among the adults we were brushing shoulders with constantly. It seemed like the management could have left a few more feet between the tents.
I absolutely love this MARKET!!! I have been going for 5 years just to see the buy the most Unique Gifts you cannot find or buy anywhere else!!! Online shopping does Not compare to the Fabulous gifts and experience you will receive at the Columbus Circle Holiday Market 💖💖💖 Check out the Gourmet Garlic Greater for sure, the demonstration is worth the wait🖒
Wonderful place to walk around and bring in the holiday cheer. features local businesses and holiday food / craft. folks in a good mood, exploring with friends and family, speakng languages from all over the world. only downside is that because space is limited (seems much smaller than one in union square), crowds can make it a bit tight to walk around, but bring a smile and have some perogies, and everything will work out okay. closes on Christmas Eve.
CCHM is really solid -- great diversity in stores and selection with a good balance of food stalls, clothing, and trinkets. It was buzzy but not overwhelmingly crowded on Christmas Eve. Only complaint is alcoholic gluhwine costs $7+!!! I know this isnt Europe where its usually €1-2 but still, highway robbery.Budget 1 hour for the market, 2 if youre a lingerer.
Painted by Colin Campbell Cooper (1856-1937). This is the earlier of two paintings Cooper did of Columbus Circle, 15 years apart. This shows more of a seething stew of a city, shortly after the Circle was completed. This was a time when church towers might be the most imposing structure around, laundry could be seen drying atop buildings and several modes of conveyance are able to past one another without difficulty. The view from further north, at ground level and fifteen years later, is distinctly more modern.

2021-12-31Sooo pretty! Its a wonderful and festive market. The stores are usually the same as union square market. Brings great Holiday cheer. Has some food stalls as well. You can find decor, clothing, jewellery, eco products, sauces/oils, etc. They may be expensive so it is good to also go to the stores website to check the items, unless you are doing last minute shopping.

2019-12-14Busy and small stalls cramped into a tiny location. But great jewlery, this year cute photo spot. Not as friendly as Bryant park market but like it nevertheless. You have to go through it to get to the park. A bit over priced but ok for the atmosphere and gifts.

2019-05-21Best outdoor market at Christmas time! Get a hot chocolate from the No Chewing Allowed shop and walk around the cozy winter setting. Central Park is right there too. Shopping is all around the immediate area. Great gifts of nice quality. This is the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted by the way!

2019-12-29Ive worked at this market for 4 consecutive years and it is always a treat to meet and see all sorts of people. A lot of the vendors are really kind and many of the products throughout the booths are handmade and or locally made. a great way to get gift ideas when you are wrapping up shopping
