What a great store and helpful staff. My lamp needed rewiring, and I went in for a referral. They actually fixed it for me. New electical cord, and pull chain. Finally, a working lamp at a reasonable price!

Just moved to NYC, HD is pretty far away - needed to find a local hardware store for everything one needs when first moving into an apartment. Found these guys - they let me buy some plywood for some shelves that had been pre-cut for another customer that didnt pick it up, and also helped facilitate getting it cut to the proper size. They even let me have some additional scrap wood that I needed at no cost, and helped me get the right nails and bolts I needed for another project. Maybe I got lucky, but Ill keep using these guys until they prove me wrong..
I am a Handy Man at a very hi end Restaurant near by this Hardware store and I come here all the time for different projects that need to be done. they are very helpful and have a lot more then meets the eye.

2018-08-20The most awesome hardware store ever. Everything you could possibly need, and an icon of accessibility proving that even a fully-packed corner hardware shop can be fully wheelchair accessible. I popped in for a metric socket to fix my ailing European wheelchair - not only did they give me precisely the right one, but actually fixed my wheelchair for me in the store in 15 mins! And wouldnt even accept a tip for their time. God bless you!

2021-02-27We ordered a dog crate online and it was missing a hinge. Luckily, I walked in and the staff immediately jumped to help me. They not only found me the right part, but helped me install it there on the spot. They even gave me a treat for my pup.Ive been here multiple times, and each time get greeted immediately and asked how I can be helped. Its my go to hardware store.

2020-12-30This is wonderful neighborhood hardware store. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. They carry basically everything you could ever need in your house, including supplies for carpentry, electrical, plumbing, pests, etc. The prices are reasonable. And the staff (Debbie, Luis, Carlos, etc.) will really work with you to understand your problem and help you fix it. Plus, they cut wood for custom shelving sizes and things like that. Theyve been around forever because theyre great. We are lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

2015-08-03Purchased a small Coop unit down the street and found this hardware store had everything I needed for the renovations I could do myself. Although I see other comments stating the staff was rude, I found everyone that waited on me was very nice and extremely helpful. The only rude person I saw was a customer who did seem to think they had to wait in line. The owner, Debbie, was particularly nice. I would recommend this store to anyone who needs basic tools and supplies. Cant beat the location if you are in the Columbus Circle area.
