Very impressed with the company. Community Care is truly a great employer. They always have plenty of work with many shifts available. The hiring process was an incredible experience. The recruiter Greg helped me with the application process. The staff at orientation were very helpful and were in tuned to my needs as a HHA. The HR department was constantly coming to the lobby to ensure we were taken care of and were very hospitable. They have fresh coffee in the lobby for all guests. Glad I decided to start my career with them.

Community Care is a very amazing Homecare agency. They treat their employees like gold. They buy breakfast and lunch at every orientation, they have an employee recognition breakfast every 1st Friday of the month, they provide paid training and in-service, great pay, medical/dental/vision is the cheapest out of all the other agencies, they have Aflac, they have two employee discount programs, direct deposit, weekly pay and etc.. They even have events for all their staff occasionally. They had a HOT CHOCOLATE BAR last week with incredible toppings and snacks. It looked like a candy store. The owners are constantly walking around to make sure everyone is taken care of. This Agency should be nominated as Employer of the Year!!!!! Love this place.

Completely Unprofessional Agency! The administration was very rude and short in their communication and attitudes towards their employees. As a experienced aide I have never experienced this amount of dysfunctionality. This agency is a complete waste of time and energy. If they treat their potential employees so bad I would hate to see how they treat their clients!

Disorganized, used to work for this company they had my paperwork and they say it’s a mess in my file they asked me to send my Covid test when The nurse had a problem with my paperwork. My paperwork was filled out before I came to work to orientation and they still had a problem with it

I used to work for them. You mail in your timesheet...it gets lost. You mail another copy...lost. Mail out 3 more....all are mysteriously found. Sending out your check is another problem. I know one aide who was forced to call DOL and now she has CONSTANT problems. Community Care...get your crap together.

Complety disorganized company.....they dont pay their employees and nurses....all the paper work...its not worth it....work there....all the coordinators quit after weeks of work....and when you try to clain for your check....they dont have the money...or even cant give you a check....this company lose some many clients....because the lack of coordinations.....the employees and the clients...have to struggle to keep in touch with the company even in an emergency case.....VERY UNRELIABLE....NO TRUSTED COMPANY.

My very bad opinion I worked 8 days and they only pay 6 for pure fights, they send a check and to top it off without funds, I think the state should close that agency, God knows how many people those thieves deceive, they never pick up my phone and when they make me wait ,.,. You need a lawyer for these scammers.
Not good staff. No full payment not fair. And very pushy staff. It is not recommended office do not work for them do not pay. They mistreat employees. Mirna is bad at cordinasion, she thinks she is a mother of Indian ispana chicks.
Very bad they send you to the cases and when you arrive the patient refuses to receive help and they do not do anything. Nobody gives the face and you spend in time and gasoline also to that they do not give hours and you always have to be calling because they do not pay like they say is u Scam

2022-08-04Community Care made things fast & easy when my mom needed home care. They helped us get all of our information in order and everything went perfectly when mom returned home. We had an outside caregiver and Community Care made it simple for her to sign up and stay with the case. I expected so many hurdles in the home care process, but Community Care helped take care of everything. Highly recommended!!

2022-07-11There are many home health agencies on the island, but so few actually follow through with their intention of providing excellent care. Community care home health services does just that. They seek qualified, compassionate and competent caregivers matching The needs of their clients - but not just the people in the home with their clients- the receptionist, care coordinator, business developer, and CEO. Every single person displays the same wonderful qualities that make this business a 10 out of 10. Would (and do) strongly recommend to my patients.

2022-07-08I work for and own an agency that does exactly what Community in Smithtown does. That being said they are one of the very few agencies on Long Island that I refer out to when there is a case we cannot take. Megan who is the head of their CDPAS department has always been incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. We are in a very tough industry but its the people that make the difference.
