I called roadside assistance and Jimmy from CARS showed up. He was extremely nice and made sure to handle my car as if it was his own when putting it onto the flatbed. He went above and beyond my expectations for how I thought it would have gone. Thank you to him and CARS!
Had a nightmare getting a tow for my vehicle due to some insurance issues. But C.A.R.S came in and saved the day. Car was picked up this morning and delivered safely.
This was the worst experience I had in my life with this company they are CROOKS!!!! I had my car towed here utilizing my AAA membership I wasnt given any paperwork was never told about a $85 a day storage fee, there is a little sign which I never saw. When I spoke with representative was never told of this fee. When I inquired about my car then I was told I owed $300 WHAT!!!! AAA worked and agreement title for fee waiver which I never wanted them to keep my car. Upon submission of title after signing I was informed I need to pay $150 to remove my property from the car!!!! Not before leaving, not on the phone when I called to make appointment to bring title never informed CROOKS!!!!
Awesome towing service! My car died while I was at work yesterday and I needed to have it towed to have it checked out. The last time I was in this predicament I was stuck waiting over an hour for help. Not with C.A.R.S.! Ken helped me out and showed up 20mins earlier than the quoted hour wait. He was super nice and took great care of my car. Hopefully I wont need a tow again in the near future but will definitely call them again if I do!
My vehicle broke Down on I 84 W. and I used my Geico roadside assistance and these guys were dispatched to me the wait was a little long but the service and the communication between the driver and myself was fantastic. everything was explained to me through Geico and also explained by the driver.
I believe the name of operator of the Flat bed was Glenn. One of the best tow experiences Ive had over the years. Glenn greeted me with a handshake and walked me through the process. Service was right on time and worked with my roadside assistance service thru State Farm. Would recommend them to anyone!Mike J.
These jokers were contacted to give my car a tow as part of my AAA service. Near three hours later, after serveal unsuccessful attempts by AAA to reach their driver and manager, AAA had to find me another company to tow my car. Extremely poor service, if you could call that service at all.
I was stuck on 84 with a flat and no spare, I was on the phone for 45 min to an hour trying to get a tow truck company out and tow me. Every one I called were rude, said they wouldnt do it because I had a 6 inch life on my truck, and even one guy said FU to me and hung up. Then I called cars and George picked up. George was very polite over the phone the first gentleman that night that called me sir. Even though sir is my father. He told me that he can have a guy out there in 30-45 min and my driver was going to be jimmy. When jimmy showed up he was very nice we had a good conversation all the way to Mavis where I could get a new tire. He was telling me how cars towing is growing and expanding which i think is great because you want a company that is personable, great pricing, and understanding this truly is the company to call. A big thanks to all they guys. and Jimmy, shoot strait!
What a great company. I was up in New York visiting some family with my wife, when our Forrester broke down. They came out and took us to a repair shop within 15 minutes. They were fast, professional, and reasonably priced. They made a stressful breakdown, completely easy and painless. Thanks guys!!!
I called these people at 6:00 am asking to be met where my truck broke down at 7:00 sure they sayNo one showed up. They wouldnt even answer the phone again when I called back at 715 wondering where there at.Good ahead and not call these people cause they dont need the business and they just cant seem to do what they say.But if you want to be stranded and wondering when someone is going to pick you up in 30 degree weather go ahead and call these people.
As the manager of another towing company we had to pick up a car from them and they were extremely friendly on the phone and no trouble to pick up.
Theyre immature and terrible people. One time, I parked in front a pizzeria while the Hudson Valley fair was going on, and I was walking around the plaza(not the fair) with my family, and I noticed that my car wasnt there when I came back. A tow truck came and told me that he towed my car. I told him I was walking around the plaza, and he should me pictures of me and my family walking around. They made assumptions of me going to the fair. That means he was in his truck, took pictures, and waited until I left for him to tow my car. Why couldnt he just have told me to move my car if he was thinking I was going to the fair?

Very friendly and courteous. Showed up on the earlier end of the timeframe quoted. Driver even went out of his way to show me the culprit of the breakdown so I knew what to talk to the mechanic about. Great experience!
My car broke down while in the city visiting family on an extremely hot day with my children ! I called this company they told me 1 hour we were there for 4 hours and the quoted me $900 for the tow ! Worst service ever

Horrendous service! Inadequate trained drivers who damaged my vehicle. Poor customer service this company needs to be reported to the better business bureau.
The biggest ripoff tow service,they should be put in jail.They make everything cash so they dont pay taxes,a total criminal element in our community.If they were put out of business tomorrow it wouldnt have been too soon,they take advantage of the situation and rip you off.I will report them to the fraud squad and IRS this Monday they we be closed in a week .

2022-06-21I will NEVER call another company again! The lady working overnight was amazing and extremely helpful when my son was stranded on the side of the road. We tried to use his roadside assistance and three hours later were told not a single company in NY or NJ had a driver available. I made three phone calls and only CARS answered and within 30 minutes my son was on his way home. I cant thank you enough for ensuring his safety and my peace of mind, you have a forever customer 💜

2022-03-15Terrible company they loaded my car and tore off my front bumper and have the nerve to say it fell off, how when there was no damage my car had mechanical issues. They then put my car in a junk yard and got the interior very dirty with mud and oil stsins everywhere. On top of that they misplaced my keys and it took them 2 days to find them.

2019-08-17Aggressive Driving: On Saturday August 17th 2019 at 1PM their flatbed came up behind me at a high rate of speed and proceeded to tailgate me (about 3 feet off my bumper) for 3 miles. Luckily I didnt need to brake for anything as there would have been no time for him to stop behind me. At a stop sign I was able to snap a few pictures of the truck but not the reckless driver. Thankfully I got the plate number and DOT number (1767517)so as to report this company. How many people are harassed by this driver everyday I wonder. How many accidents has he been involved in? This company needs to train its employees to drive safely.

2021-08-13My car was towed at 11:30pm, I called immediately to try to get it back and was told they open at 9am. So obviously not 24hrs. When I went to pick up my car, they had it parked in the middle of a literal junk yard. They expected me to drive it out while not damaging my car. My car was immediately damaged because again, they put my car in a literal junkyard. Every single car in there was totaled, there was glass, metal shards, loose rims?? I believe they unloaded my car directly on top of a rim so when I tried to pull out it ripped into the underside of my car and bumper, nearly ripping it off completely. I was told by the employee that was standing there that it was “literally a junkyard what do you expect“. I said you have to fix my car this is completely not OK and he said that it was totally my fault, then also told me that there were cameras and video that would back up his story. I called the police, I asked for the video, I asked for any video or photographs. They told me in front of the police that there was no video and would not give me the photos until the owner showed up, which he never did.

2021-08-02There was no visible no parking signs in the area where we parked. They towed my truck and my daughters car at night. Left us stranded in middletown with my 2 year old grandson. This was at 9 PM. As I do not live in Middletown and when asked the driver jesse how I was suppose to get home his girlfriend jumped out of the truck and said it was a personal problem offered no assistance of cab numbers or anything to help. And then charged us each 324.00 to release our vehicles. When we retrieved our vehicles they have been gone through things out of glove box and stolen tools very unprofessional and rude and Im pretty sure unless your employed with them no one is allowed in the truck with them especially rude girlfriends

2020-07-31I understand one of my car was towed for a reason but, rude employees. Major unprofessional attitudes when dealing with them. Secondly, greasy handprints left on my vehicle, top corner of driver door is now out of alignment, beware of zero accountability from this service provider.

2018-07-13Woke up on a Friday to a flat tire with a screw in it. Just how you want your day to start, right? Promptly called my insurance to utilize my roadside assistance. They quoted an hour, but within a half hour I had a call that the tech was waiting outside for me. Less than 10 minutes later he had my donut on, completed the paperwork and we were both on our way. They made what could have been an awful morning, bearable.
