Truly exceptional service! Natasha is the best nail tech I’ve seen in a while. I have issues with ingrowths on my big toes and she takes care of them out perfectly! Also for those who love a good scrub on their feet, this is the place to go. My heels are as soft as a baby’s butt when they do them. She really cares for every client and goes the extra mile to ensure your nails aren’t just done but nurtured so the manicures and pedicures really last a long time and with her I’ve seen my nails grow longer and stronger!! Also really beautiful designs and such clean application! Simply perfection at its finest! And the atmosphere overall always pleasant, a clean well staffed salon is always a part of the experience, as well as good prices. Already recommended to all my girls!

I have had my hair cut twice at the Concept Spa as well as my friends. I have had one of the best hairdressers I have ever had in Brooklyn!She knew exactly what i needed, took the time to discuss what i wanted, was friendly, efficient and did an EXCELLENT cut and style which looked good even after having been blown around in gale force winds! The standard is excellent and do not forget to ask for Merve when you go there. Keep up the good work guys.,

I booked through groupon but on the appointment day i was asked to pay double of the amount i paid on groupon. One after another reasons were given including hair wont pickup the color, length and dynsity. The stylist was nice but the manager and owner were very rude. They even did not listened what i had to say, so basically i walked away with very negative experience. I wish to have 0 star on this review. Dont recommend at all!!
I called to schedule an appoinment for a mani- pedi and haircut that i had purchased on Groupon for 2 people and the receptionist was super rude, she said call me in a month or 2 i do not have a hair stylist for you.... she was very unprofessional and the quality was super poor. I will cancel the groupon and i will never go there again.
Ive been coming to CONCEPT DAY SPA for at least 4 years, its the only place I trust with my hair. Ive been to other places when I was away at college, and it just didnt compare, especially with the price. ;;;;;MERVE;;;; cuts my hair and knows exactly what to do with it, even when I dont know myself. (My hair is very thick and curly and I always assume I want a drastic cut when I go, but he shows me how it would look once it dried and what style would go best with my type of hair.) A cut cost about $35 and is comparable to salons in Manhattan for a fraction of the price.
Fantastik Facial – I visted Concept Day Spa for a Spa Facial this past weekend. The facial was fantastic My skin was glowing and still looks and feels great. I had specifically requested Olga based upon a review that she received on City Search and I am so glad that I did. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I recommend trying her and shes definitely has a new customer in me!
This place is a shady business. They can sell you a card today and then change the policy regarding the expiration period of the card and there is nothing you can do. It is your responsibility to check their website and make sure that the policy has not changed since you bought it. Do not trust them, get a proof in writing and make them sign it.I purchased a prepaid card for facials during the spring special sale back in 2013 and had one left at the end of 2014. At the time of the sale their receptionist did not tell me anything about expiration date and I was believed that it was valid for the life time of the business. Also I was given a number instead of the card and was told that the number without the card was enough. I called them in November 2014 to verify that the number was still good and was told nothing about the expiration date, so I decided to give my last facial to someone as a Christmas present. When that person called them in January of 2015 to schedule an appointment, they said that it expired as of 12/31/14.I called and spoke with the owner who promised to call me back and never did. The receptionist kept mumbling about their policies on website and the gift cards that they sell (I have never seen one). They acted like I came to their place and sold the prepaid number (not a card) to myself.They do not keep record of their customers and have no idea who is their regular customer and who is not. It is hard for me to believe that after being their customer for at least three years they could put me through the frustrating experience of arguing with them on the phone for $50 which I have already paid. They blamed everything on their former employee and denied any responsibility. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away from their gift cards.
If i could give it no stars I would. I came to the salon for a hair cut and asked for layers, NOBODY knew what they were doing, didnt speak english well and totally messed up my hair. Gave me a straight haircut, no layers because she didnt even know what she was doing. then while paying they tried to make me pay more. WOULD NEVER GO BACK! DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE COMING HERE. If you love your hair youll stay away
Medium was The best..color was perfect...blow out was the bomb..Everyone was friendly place clean...love it..will be telling everyone to go...best stylist ever. Her name is medium not sure if its spelled that way
This is my favorite place to get a massage.They really listen to your concerns and are knowledgeable! Ive worked with all of the therapists here and they are all fantastic.You cant go wrong! Irina and Olga are the best!!!

Very welcoming atmosphere & workers I love my cut just wish Maryann wouldve listened to me when I said cut my bangs longer passed my eyebrows I have a cowlick... so now I have to wait for my bangs to grow out to like my cut 100%

Just be warned, if you purchase a Groupon here they will lie and say you can only use it a couple days in the middle of the week even though their ad never mentions it. Will never attempt business here again. Extremely unprofessional.

I got a foot fungus after a spa pedicure. Absolutely horrified considering I can go to a Cheap Charley place down the street for half the price and get the same results.
HORRIBLE ATTITUDE! Front desk so rude!!!! Scammers! Don’t put so many things on groupon and then not honor them! Unprofessional and rude on the phone! Even after coming there, paying & giving gratuity more than they deserve they are nasty! I should have listened to the bad reviews!

2018-07-24Today Nataliya just changed my polish.. The manicure she gets done for me over one week ago looks absolutely perfect. Regular manicure stays for two weeks usually, I wouldnt even come for change of polish if I wouldnt break one nail. She fixed everything 😊

2020-07-06This place is very fashionable with its Marilyn Monroe portrait on the wall. The shampoo girl was gentle with my scalp and made sure the water wasnt too hot. I had Yana cut my hair. She did a pretty good job. Knows her stuff. I cannot say this place is versatile, I think they mostly work with Eastern European clients, although they do speak English proficiently. I wish the prices were a little lower, I ended up racking up $70+ for a haircut including tips. They should have a flat rate for haircuts, but it really depends on the length of your hair. Wish I had spent only $50, but I am not disappointed with the level of attention from the hairstylist Yana. She put a lot of thought into my hairstyle.

2020-10-01The place itself is nice but the way they did my hair was pretty bad. I went in with a groupon and I felt like the lady didn’t know what she was doing. I got highlights and a haircut, I showed multiple times exactly what I wanted. Once my hair was finished it looked like I didn’t do ANYTHING to it. The haircut also was nothing that I asked for. I wanted it to be layered and the lady just did a straight cut. She didn’t really use a proper technique. I had to go to a different salon to fix my hair which is absolutely ridiculous. And the style was also terrible, I could of blow dried my hair better myself... I’m just disappointed. The lady was super sweet but I won’t be going back.

2020-07-01I have had bad experiences with hair dressers before but this salon really amazed me. I went in for a root touch up and trim that I purchased from Groupon, the hairdresser Maryam, was super friendly and suggested I touch up my balayage as well. I agreed and I specifically said I wanted my roots to be dark brown and wanted the highlights to be natural, I ended up with greenish/ grey highlights and a light brown base. I told her I had picked out a shade exactly like my eyebrows (my natural hair color) and she wiped her finger on my eyebrow and implied I was wearing makeup lolololol. Keep in mind I also assisted her by folding up the foils for her. She offered a color correction but I had to come back to the salon within 3 days, but this was after 15 minutes of her and another hair dresser telling me my hair color was in fact the color I chose. Oh and they also tried to charge me for toner? I was under the impression that toner was included whenever you pay for highlights? Anyway, I hope this is helpful.

2019-07-14Had a groupon which is the only reason I even knew this place was there, Yay Groupon! Got a great deal and was pleasantly surprised when I called to make an apoointment for a single color, hair cut and blowout for the very next day with Maryam! Got to the salon a half hour earlier totally prepared to wait and was seen like right away. Maryam was pleasant, professional and made me feel at ease. Did a great job on my hair color, cut and blowout which I LOVED! Will definately be going back to see Maryam. Took one star off because the girl that washes hair just did an ok job. Yes she washed my hair 2x, no pressure, felt like my hair was still dirty, I do admit I like my head like gently scrubbed so it may just be my personal preference, but she put very little conditioner and even that was only on my ends. no brushing out my hair, nothing. By the time I got back to Maryam, my hair which had just been colored, washed and supposedly conditioned was a nasty, tangled Mess. Took Maryam like 10 minutes to detangle my hair which freaking hurt and could have been avoided by proper amount of conditioner and a quick comb out during the washing process.... My next visit I will make sure to request a decent amount of conditioner throughout my hair and hopefully that will not be an issue. All in all I had a great experience and they have a new customer so win, win!

2020-07-02I was about to buy a Groupon for the store. Most of the reviews are wonderful. I figure getting my hair at a reasonable price would make me feel better. HOWEVER, I have natural hair 4b/c and I didn’t see any pictures of black women or with natural hair. Maybe you’re not trAined to style natural hair? Only European hair?

2016-02-12The service is great. Haircuts are a reasonable price and the staff is very friendly. My personal hairdresser, Merve, is possibly the best. Hair is definitely the most important part of my look and she respects that. She takes pride in what she does and therefore, makes an effort to perfect. I definitely recommend this place, or recommend her, to anyone who needs someone to trust with their hair.

2019-11-16Came for a Groupon, stayed for the service!All groupons look glamorous on the site, with low-end salons using stock photos to look better. This is not the case with Concept Day Spa. Here, what you see is what you get. A beautiful, clean salon with real professional hairdressers. On my first visit, Maryam did my hair beautifully and I have a tricky, asymmetric undercut. My hair has been getting so many compliments from friends AND strangers!I’ve continued to visit and I’m loyal to Maryam (although I’m sure the other hairdressers are great as well). And the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

2019-10-05This place doesnt even deserve 1 star! I attempted to get my hair done at this place and it was the worst service . I made an appointment online and decided to go in a half an hour earlier so I could relax, I told the receptionist I knew I was early and how I would wait for my appointment time however, I immediately got an attitude and when she notified the hairstylists she too started yelling in her language. I didnt see what the problem was because I wasnt expecting to be seen earlier as I again told the receptionist again. But that was the beginning of the problem. I had picked a package from there site however once the hairstylists approached me she double the price saying my hair is too thick ( I dont know how she knew this with my hair being in a bun) I would have paid the price however, she and her staff was so rude that I left. I also noticed how the caucasian people were treated much nicer. I guess lf your Latin your not wanted here.
