I’ve been a customer of concept of fitness for years. I live 4 hours away from the main store. About 12 years ago i bought a life-fitness t7 with the understanding that if something went wrong their service department would help me over the phone. Sure enough Pete did exactly that. He helped me on the phone

Had a great experience with this company! Pete at the store was great and set up the delivery of my new elliptical on a day that was convenient for me. My schedule is tight and another company lost my business because they could only deliver on a certain day of the week. The delivery when seamlessly. The deliverymen actually work for the company, not just hired to show up with the equipment.They were in and out in 10 minutes, brought their own tools and were knowledgable about the machine.

After a less than stellar dealing with nordictrack. I decided to go here. Local company, fast service. Had my machine the next day as promised. So far the equipment is great and I have the assurance with an excellent warranty, that if it isnt, all will be made right.

I guess anyone can sell an excellent LifeFitness treadmill, and that’s what I purchased for $7000. Sometimes it would give a “Workout Failed to Start” message even From date of purchase, so I assumed this was some sort of safety feature, like too much drag on the rollers or something. The Wilton Store, where I purchased, was always closed on Mondays, though I was frequently there next door for my haircuts. Eventually I had a haircut on a Wednesday and I asked, and Dave, who is great, said no, it should be fixed. Unfortunately their repair guy needs some serious customer service lessons. Since the machine’s abberant behaviour was intermittent, he couldn’t see it, and he implied it wasn’t true. I asked if one of the cables could be faulty and repair guy said they looked fine. I paid for the visit, and installed 2 boards myself when they arrived. Meanwhile, I made a video of the machine failing to start and sent the video to the owner of company. Still the aberrant behavior continued, so repair guy comes back and replaces the motor, and now treadmill won’t start at all. He notices cable installed “upside-down” (black cube near motor) between console above and motor area below and accuses homeowner of installing this cable upside-down. Homeowner says he never installed that cable. Repair guy says homeowner had to have done it, plus the cable runs across sharp metal edge near computer board, and 2 of 4 of the wires are cut, implying owner has caused current “no-start” condition. Homeowner says this is probably the original problem we have been looking for. For some reason, this repair guy, and this is apparently the only one they offer, is very offensive. There is just no reason to go around offending customers who are willing to spend $7000 on a treadmill.This really upset me for 3 days, and I talked to everyone I could about it, which did help. On the 4th day, I sent the owner of the store photos of the cable which proved it had been installed wrong by the LifeFitness company. By then he had spoken with the employee, told him he should not have spoken with me that way, and tried to do the best he could to make the situation right. Unfortunately the repair guy is no longer allowed in my house, so now I have to find a new repair man. But at least the store owner apologized, and is sending a new cable, etc.

I will put it simply. If you are in the market for fitness equiptment buy it here. Period.Let me tell a short story. My wife and I bought a Landice treadmill from Concepts 8 years ago. A few weeks ago after 8 years of regular hard use by both my wife and I (we both run regularly on it year round) the treadmill stopped working. I short call with Pete and he jumped right on it. 8 years after the sale we recieved excellent attention and our treadmill now has a new tread belt, new motor, new control board and new drive belt all under Warranty - all parts were free!We could not be happier with the excellent advice, friendly service and overall value offered by Concepts. We were also very pleased with how Landice stood by their warranty.

The staff was helpful and their treadmill continues to run well after a couple years. They were quick to help over the phone as needed, making a fix to the system easily and at no cost.

Purchased three pieces of workout equipment from their Albany location a few years ago. Quality is excellent. Same goes for delivery and installation. Customer service is outstanding.
