Being a dentists office, its odd to me how much I like this place. I seriously cant recommend them enough. Very friendly staff, easy appointments, very straightforward with procedure and billing explanations. Last year I found them in a pinch while dealing with a lot of issues with a different practice, and Dr. Hauer and his team took care of every problem I had quicker and more easily than I had ever encountered before.I dont know how I can be clearer about this: If you are looking for a dentist, go to West Seneca Smiles.
I spent a Thursday night in excruciating pain in my jaw that came on suddenly. I wasnt very hopeful in finding a dentist to see me on a Friday without an appointment. I was referred to West Seneca Smiles by my previous dentist who could not see me. They gave me an appointment within a couple hours. Everyone there is extremely kind, patient and professional. The quality of care is exceptional! They go above and beyond! I ended up with a root canal and received treatment the same day!! They are now my new dentist!!!
Everyone at West Seneca Smiles is top notch! They are so friendly. I was very nervous to get a cavity filled but Emma walked me through the entire process and wasn’t annoyed when I asked a million and one questions (thank you Emma!)If you are looking for a friendly, local dentist Dr Hauer is your man! Thank you all for making the dentist,something I dreaddddd, a little less dreadful. :)
I had my teeth cleaned last week at West Seneca Smiles and it was a great experience. Matt was very friendly, thorough, professional, and did an excellent job. Like a lot of people, I have some anxieties surrounding dentistry, and Matt went above and beyond to help me feel calm and comfortable.
Dr. Benjamin Hauer and this team are all so amazing! My 18 yr old daughter needed some dental work done, Dr. Hauer and Gwyn made sure she was comfortable, relaxed, numb and the procedure seemed like a breeze. Wisdom tooth extractions are not something anyone looks forward to, but after having two extracted with Dr. Hauer, my daughter won’t go anywhere else for the other two, she is not worried about it one bit. Our most sincere thanks to this office for fitting her in right away and for taking such good care of our daughter!!
West Seneca Smiles is the best dental practice I have ever been to. They have state of the art tools to make your experience informed, comfortable, and efficient. Dr. Hauer is down to earth and always makes me feel comfortable and welcome. The rest of the staff is also excellent. I have never looked forward to a dental visit until I started going here.
Office charges $250 for a dental cleaning.Stopped going because main dentist screwed up a cap that he pushed for me to have done. He rushed the job and never set the cap deep enough on the old tooth. They rushed the job because I couldn’t get numb fast enough for them and they had to be somewhere. I’ve Had sensitive problems from this procedure ever since and never had any problems before this. . If I had to rate the dentist from a UB collage grade I would give him a C+ does something’s good others not so good.
Going to the dentist has never been a pleasurable experience for me . This all changed today as I went to West Seneca Smiles on a recommendation from a great friend . The staff are very friendly and helpful. Matt was hands-down the best dental hygienist I’ve ever seen , It didn’t feel like he was even touching my teeth I didn’t flinch once nor tense up 😊. Dr. Hauer is a class act ! , I’ve never had a dentist ask me what causes my anxiety about going to the dentist . He really does care about the patients and it shows ! I’m recommending West Seneca Smiles to everyone I know !
In the three years that I have been a patient here, I have always been extremely satisfied with virtually every aspect of the office visit. From parking, to the reception area and beyond, the entire office is superb.The entire staff is friendly, outgoing and dedicated. The level of care, coupled with the knowledgeable and conscientious personnel employed here, makes for a comfortable and relaxing experience, even when undergoing a strenuous procedure such as an extraction.I look forward to a long relationship with this office for all of my dental needs.
Today 10/02/2019 was my first time at West Seneca Smiles and they were the best. I’m scared of the dentist but the dentist was so nice, gentle and talk me threw what he was doing that I forgot that I was even at the dentist. Everyone was so very nice. This is the best place to go so if your looking for a dentist you should go here.
I had a partial in denture for 10 years of my life I was so scared of full dentures when I tell you these people fit my first shut up dentures I havent even got the second final set they look exactly like the teeth I had as a kid I had a bad dentist dr. Ben Howard possibly the best on this planet and his team truly have changed my life
The best dental office ever, from the minute you walk through the door you are treated unbelievable. My hygienist Ellen is the best ever she does an great job. Dr. Hauer is a true miracle worker the work he did for me from my first emergency visit when the brought me in immediately has been nothing but first class ,best dentist ever....... First class all the way,great work honest and fair not much more you can ask for . Really wish I could give more than 5 stars.
The staff are always very friendly and courteous. I never feel like a number when I visit, more like a welcome guest. Hygenists are wonderful and the Doctor never tries to sell you something you may not want. I’m a minimalist and want the least amount of work done possible.Dr Hauer is my man!!:)
From the receptionist to the whole team you get the most personal and utmost professional care one could ask for.
My initial visit was very impressive. From the moment you enter the greeting area and are then taken into an examination room, it is very clear that this office utilizes state-of-the-art dental technology. Every staff member with whom I interacted was very friendly and made certain that I understood what was being done and why. After my cleaning, Dr. Hauer gave me a thorough exam and took the time to understand my dental concerns before he worked out a care plan to address them. I am looking forward to my next appointment.
Dr. Martin and staff are the best! I highly recommend West Seneca Smiles. I typically do not enjoy a visit to the dentist however, Dr. Martins staff made my visit very pleasant. West Seneca Smiles has a knowledgeable staff of hygentists and Dr. Martin is just a book of knowledge, providing a full explanation of their evaluation. I absolutely love this place and I never thought I would love a dentist office but I do. The staff is the best and the atmosphere is so pleasant and friendly that there’s no room for pain. The dentist actually takes the time to talk and socialize with you. He makes your visit a pleasant one.
Dr. Hauer and his staff literally changed my life! My initial consultation was fantastic and I was given several options to reach my goal to save my teeth and once again have a beautiful smile. Dr. Hauer delivered on all his promises and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and give me my smile back! The staff is wonderful too!! I will be forever grateful for my miraculous transformation and highly recommend this dental practice to all who think that their dental dreams are out of reach. In addition, I do not have dental insurance and they worked out an affordable plan with a no interest option. For me, this is honestly the best dental office Ive ever been to. I have an irrational fear of seeing the dentist so I typically need a lot of work done on my teeth by the time I do go. From my first visit when I met Sarah and Dr. Hauer to make a treatment plan, to my cleaning with Ellyn, and to my last visit this week with Chris and Dr. Hauer, everyone always makes me feel at ease and continually reassures me that they will help me get back on track with my dental needs, no judgment at all about how much time passed since I last saw a dentist. Dr. Hauer is awesome, it’s obvious he’s a pro and so knowledgeable, and he also takes great care to make you comfortable no matter what work is being done. During my last visit that required some tooth extractions, Chris and I were chatting it up and even though we just met, she is so nice and friendly it felt like we were old friends meeting for coffee. Dr. Hauer joined in and when all was said and done, he literally had all 3 teeth out in about 60 seconds. It was very quick and painless; I felt the shot of Novocain more than the extractions! Chris was really good about explaining the after-care instructions and Dr. Hauer gave me his number to call with any problems. I’ve had such good experiences so far with West Seneca Smiles that it’s starting to help me overcome my fear of the dentist; I will absolutely recommend West Seneca Smiles and Dr. Hauer to all my friends and family who are looking for a new dentist.
West Seneca Smiles is a wonderful office the staff is kind and Dr. Hauer is incredible with making his patients feel comfortable and informed. Dr. Hauer and the staff at West Seneca Smiles have literally increased my quality of life by visiting them. I had been experiencing some major issues with my teeth and gums creating sensitivity and pain on a daily basis. They got me on the right track to recovery and I am now completely pain free. Although the staff is very friendly, I had a wrong diagnosis and don’t know the intentions behind that. I went for a “free” advertised evaluation and I was concerned because they told me that I have two cavities that needed to be fixed.... weird because I never had cavities. To fix them they asked for over $300... Today I went for a 2nd opinion, I had all the X-rays done again and there were no cavities! Miracle! ...it was free and I scheduled for regular cleaning. I’ ll never be back to this office and my recommendation is that before any treatment, get another opinion.

I have been going to the same dentist office since I was ten years old or younger. Started with Dr Tiberi, then Dr Peet and now West Seneca Smiles has taken over the practice. When they took over a lot of things changed. The most noticeable change was that they were not the warm and friendly dentist office that I had been accustomed to. They act more like robots I would say....trying to be more efficient perhaps but losing sight of the fact that they should make their patient feel welcome and like they matter. They have lost a 35 year customer over a $25 cancellation fee I was charged for not calling in time to meet the 24 hour ahead policy....I understand policies, but I also understand that sometimes things in life come up short notice and cannot be prevented. I would also like to let everyone know how easy the decision was to find a new dentist after all of these years (for myself and my two children) thanks to the absolute snot I had the displeasure of speaking with over the phone!!
Even as an adult I’ve had anxiety at the thought of going to the dentist. Dr. Hauer and the staff and West Seneca Smiles makes it all go away! Friendly staff and great services. Highly recommend.

My experience was 100% satisfaction. I was able to get last minute booking for my emergency veneer replacement, the staff was very friendly and educational throughout the process, ans i was in and out within 90 minutes.

I went in to consult about root canal for tooth with missing filling. Dentist took a lot of unnecessary x-rays, wanted to pull tooth, wanted to redo all my fillings and charged me $197. I didnt like the assembly line atmosphere of the place. Arent there any old fashioned one at a time patient dentists around anymore? I would not go there again.
The ideal location was not the only reason I came to this practice. I was looking for a more personal experience, and thats what I received. I was hoping to be able to have any issues addressed and clearly explained in a way I could understand, and thats exactly what I got. The hygenist Matt was great too! They were efficient, and put me at ease. I have already recommended them!

The office has been nicely remodeled from the previous practice. staff is friendly and courteous. Dr. Martin has brought some new technologies into the office to improve the diagnosis of dental issues and presenting information to the patients.

About as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be. The staff is courteous and Dr. Martin is well versed in the latest techniques.The scheduling was very efficient and I only had to wait a few minutes.
Dale Lake was in for an extraction on Friday 8/16/19 by Dr. Ben Hauer. He thought everyone was very professional, and they explained everything they were doing every step of the way. Taken right in on arrival. Office was very clean.

I was in severe pain and the team told me to come right down even though it was ten minutes until closing. They could of sent me off with antibiotics and pain meds but they went the extra mile staying late to fix my tooth and get me out of pain. Thanks so much and I will definitely be back

Been going here for years when Dr. Peet was here. Reluctant at first with new dentist, but Dr. Martin made me feel comfortable with the new change. Love the staff, the old and the new. I think I will stay.
Dr. Martin is simply the best dentist I have ever had. He is very skilled, and I can honestly say that he is a VERY gentle and pain-free dentist.
They are always nice and get the job done. Dr. Martin seems genuinely concerned about your oral care. Only complaint was my appointment took an inordinate amount of time.

Explained Had full crown placed over a broken tooth. When the problem was discovered the doctor and his staff fullyisfied with the overall result. The doctor and his staff explained my options, provided me with an estimate of charges and payment plans availiable. The final crown was just set and I am extremely satisfied with the rpofessionalism and courtesy demonstrated by the entire staff.

2022-04-08I previously went to Dr Schoene, but he retired last year and I was then referred to a dentist that was out of network for my insurance. However, they told me I was in network and it was a whole big mess costing me over 600 dollars. Finally, I found West Seneca Smiles and the reviews are all so good, it’s in network and I figured I’d give it a try. I’m very pleased with my experience here, I had one filling so far and am scheduled for a cleaning in a couple months. I’m so glad that I finally found a good dentist in my network. Insurance struggles are the worst.

2021-05-25Not currently a patient, but hopefully soon. My boyfriend had a dental emergency, and it required quick action. After perusing the interwebs like ya do in an emergency, we were so pleased to get a quick response from an actual person. They were able to see us for a consultation, get him out of pain, and take time to formulate a game plan for the work going forward. Literally the next business day, the office called us back to schedule an implant procedure A MONTH SOONER than we had expected. Y? Because they are real people who care about others getting the best service and relief. Just walking into the office felt friendly, welcoming... whatever state your dental needs are in, this place is 110% worth visiting first. Also, if you save the office staff from spiders they will appreciate you forever.

2020-09-08IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FANTASTIC DENTIST - I highly recommend Benjamin Hauer, DDS at West Seneca Smiles who does outstanding dental work and is very particular and precise. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Hauer’s exceptional attention to detail in his performance of dentistry. It took me a long time to find a dentist with his expertise, concern, and high quality of work! He makes you feel comfortable, easy to talk to, and explains in detail what procedures he will perform. In addition, one of his assistants, Chris, who I am so lucky to have work with him when I am at the office is wonderful too. She makes you feel at ease, also explains everything that is going on, has a fabulous personality, and makes you feel very comfortable. Together they make you feel like you are visiting rather then having dental work done.

2020-09-02I have waited to share an honest opinion about my experience. Didnt want to post after just 1 visit. I just started going here a few months before the pandemic. I have very sensitive teeth and have always dreaded going to the dentist. I had moved and needed a dentist closer to home. My neighbor recommended them and Im honestly glad she did. The staff and dentists are very welcoming, personable and even comforting. All of my concerns have been addressed and theres always a game plan for what needs to be done next. Whether its necessary or just a cosmetic concern. The office is very clean and they are taking great precautions to keep themselves and their patients safe. I honestly dont dread going there. I know that when I go, they will make the appointment a comfortable one. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that theres no full time with just you as a patient. The assistant will get you prepped as they usually do. But, the dentist is going room to room dealing with other patients in between your appointment. But, doesnt necessarily make for a longer appointment. Everything is just fast paced. So, I do miss the old school one on one appointments. But, overall...its a great place and would recommend (and have).

2019-07-09I became patient almost two years ago because a very good friend is one of the hygienists (Amie T.) at this office. I was previously a patient at an office a few doors down from West Seneca Smiles, wont name names but boy is this office much different. This place is super clean and modern. All of the staff is SUPER friendly. Its easy to make appointments. Amie is very gentle when doing my cleanings. Dr. Hauer is the best dentist Ive ever been to! So nice, gentle and talks you through procedures. He explains everything to you so you have a nice understanding of your oral health. They have treatments plans, meaning they have target areas that they keep a extra eye on trouble areas. I was in yesterday for a crown placement and was just so happy with my experience, which says a lot because I used to DREAD going to the dentist.

2020-12-02So I had a crown break and called the dentist that put it on and have gone to for the past couple years only for them to not call me back after several attempts. I seeked out a dentist that would accept my insurance and found Dr. Hauer. They were able to get me right in on the same day I called due to a cancellation which was great. From the moment I walked in the door everyone was absolutely pleasant. The office is well maintained and clean. Dr. Hauer explained everything in a well understood manner with more than one option to go about fixing my tooth on a more permanent basis and also a temporary until that is decided. They were able to make me a temporary brace to wear like an Invisalign that has my tooth in it so it looks like I have my smile back. Looking forward to getting it permanently fixed! Very glad I came here.

2020-06-22Due to my dentist retiring, first visit to this company and really happy with my choice! Best cleaning Ive had in 54 years!!!! Knowledgable. Very professional, COVID friendly atmosphere. Excited about my path going forward with plan in place to get my teeth healthy and happy in years ahead. This company takes photos of teeth to show you exactly what is going on in and what is required. Im impressed and thats not always an easy task. Well done! Highly recommend going here!
