David was absolutely amazing! From the initial consultation and assessment to the care and therapy, it was one of the best experiences in my life. I’ve had many sports injuries and therapists throughout my career but David was truly one of a kind! Best in the business.......If your in need of healing from any injury, sports or life....Call David!! You will be back to work in no time and feeling better than ever! 💪🏼👍🏼
I am a Concierge RN and had to find exactly the right Physical Therapist for my one patient. It took me a couple of weeks of searching to get exactly the right person so let me make it easy for you rather than spending extensive hours researching. I would highly recommend David and his company. You get nothing but a complete professional that is always timely and has had an amazing rapport with our patient. David could encourage our patient to work hard and interact when honestly no one else could. Clearly his education and work ethic and knowledgeis top notch. I cant say enough about David. He is the highlight of our day.
....Would At-Home therapy really work? I thought to myself. It did. Dave has been persistent on keeping me on a path to recovery. Initially, I reached out due to some issues with my ribs–I could not laugh, cough, or make any sudden movements without excruciating pains. The option of having him (or one of his team members) come to your home is truly amazing. With that option, it allowed me to take quicker action because I was mostly immobile at the apex of my injury. No Ubers, subways, or parking stood in the way. The thought of trying to travel in NYC without a car, while in severe pain and during a global pandemic seems like a nightmare. He really tries to understand the source of the pain and discomfort to get an idea of stretches and exercises that would be most beneficial for your injury. Also, there are a lot of hands-on techniques that Dave knows to help gain pain-free mobility. Dave is an excellent communicator–he explains why he is doing certain movements and tests to help gain a better understanding of the root of the problem. Being able to call, text or email is a huge convenience when any size question would pop in my head. I would recommend Concierge Pain Relief to anyone seeking a curated set of individualized needs. The pathway to pain-free ribs, or whatever your injury, was very clear and he left me with a comprehensive weekly plan to continue when our sessions come to an end.
Dr. Kittle was a huge help with my lower back pain. He diagnosed the issue, applied treatment, and helped me with a plan to relieve the pain and retrain my body to fix bad habits. He came to my house which was huge considering that I was having a hard time walking for too long and couldn’t sit in my car or on a train. I would highly recommend him for lower back issues.
David did a great job in helping to alleviate my pain when I threw out my back. He was knowledgeable and thorough during his assessment and when explaining how to resolve the issue. He gave me exercises to do on my own and I felt confident in doing them with his very precise instructions. He is wonderful to work with and I highly recommend his services!
One of the best work ethic in the business, if not the best ever. Very, very, very good in helping a client to relieve pain, healing and relaxation of the body, mind and soul.In working with David (his company) you are assured to get the very best. He treats each and everyone like hed want to be treated. Beyond his education, hes very good at his craft - Yes, very. I know this because he works with client I take care of as a Concierge Nurse.Lastly, hes a very, very good person. Please if you ever need or want a physical therapist, call them. Please.
Outstanding results. He took the time when we consulted to really go over how my injury and how it could’ve occurred. He really understands how everything works, and I got results/relief the day we met for my carpal tunnel pain. I did his exercises throughout the week and was able to manage my pain and discomfort. Highly recommended.
Dr. David has given me good personal advice, though what I am more grateful for is the positive physical change that his exercises program stimulated in the body and mind of a friend. Helping my friend walk again, albeit with a walker and spotters, is a huge success. Simple exercises were made into a fun game such as playing catch with a big soft ball. David has a soothing yet authoritative bedside manner with just the right balance of encouragement and sympathy. I highly recommend Dr. David as a superb and nice physical therapist who will effectuate outstanding results.
Dave has taught me a very profound lesson: you dont have to live with pain. Ive sought out Daves physical therapy services for sports-related injuries and also for work-related repetitive-use injuries (primarily neck/shoulder/elbow injuries). Ive taken advantage of in-home treatment sessions and also video consultations, and working one-on-one with Dave was a real breath of fresh air compared to the atmosphere Ive experienced when rehabbing in a cookie-cutter-type physical therapy studio. He was able to diagnose my pain issues, craft an appropriate exercise program, and also provide me with the guidance, support and confidence I needed to get back on the field (and to work) quickly. Dave worked with me when my neck was a mess, I really appreciated his ability to think outside the box when it came to crafting exercises to get me moving again without aggravating my multiple issues, which was no small task... Again, thanks, Dave!
I injured myself in CrossFit (surprise surprise) right before lockdown. Dr. Kittle was able to do at-home care when no one else would and helped me get pain free super fast. Seriously such a sweet and caring doc who really understood my body and what it needed to get better. Highly highly recommend!
I found Dr. Dave online when searching for relief for my neck pain, back pain, and knee pain. They had great reviews so I figured I wasn’t taking too big of a risk. I’m always a little skeptical if a healthcare treatment will actually work or not... but I can tell you it certainly did. And, I had 50% less pain after the very first visit!Since then, session after session Dr. Dave has worked hard on fixing each and every one of my issues. He doesn’t give me a bunch of exercises to do during the visit but actually does manipulations and hands-on treatment (one-on-one care the entire hour). Plus, they come to my home apartment and office (when there’s an extra room available).Unfortunately, I do regret taking so long to decide to call Dr. Dave and start home physical therapy. His practice, style, and approach is truly like none other and if I ever need PT again, I will only call Dave and Concierge Pain Relief Home Physical Therapy. Thank you Dr. Dave for caring for your patients and working hard to make our lives better! If any of my friends, family, or coworkers have pain or an injury, I’m sending them straight to Concierge Pain Relief!!Best in class. Highly recommended for your aches, pains, arthritis treatment, balance, and fall prevention.
Dr. Dave Kittle helped alleviate my lower back pain and SI joint pain. Before starting with him, I could barely move and had difficulty sleeping. And now after a few visits, I’m nearly 100% back to normal. Dr. Kittle is very nice and clearly skilled at what he does. I would recommend him to any one in pain.
I was suffering with neck, shoulder and arm pain/tingling do to what i believe was a pinched nerve. Do to the Covid-19 pandemic i could just walk into a doctors office to get treated much less assessed. So i googled these guys and was treated by Dr. Kittles. He was heaven sent. After a few sessions my issues were resolved. I was so pleased i continued my PT session just to work on mobility drills i can do to keep an aging man in tuned. He was great. I will definitely recommend this service to anyone in need of PT. I will definitely be using this service again!!!!
I have been having more headaches/migraines recently, and one particular morning I woke up with a major migraine with neck pain. I found Dr. David Kittle online and his company has some of the best reviews in NYC for PT. His care is always one on one for a full hour, focused, with a detailed evaluation. And hands on treatment during the first which was effective and I could feel immediate improvement. Now 2 weeks later, I can work on my computer without any recent migraines or neck pain. Plus I have had better sleep and feel well rested and refreshed. Highly recommend them, you wont be disappointed.
I have had the luck to work with Dr. Abbate(Annie) in the past on several injuries. Her attention to my needs and her knowledge have always returned me to near perfect. I started running and exercising after a few years off, I wanted help with flexibility and once again chose to go with Annie. Her private session gave me the one on one time needed to address my concerns. She sets a goal, a plan and then works on getting you to your best physical self possible. I trust Annie and will continue to seek her professionalism and knowledge.
For years I have suffered with constant neck, shoulder & back pain. I have tried physical therapy, deep tissue massages & even went to a chiropractor but nothing gave me the relief I needed. I had just about given up when I was treated by Annie Abbate. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much at first but was immediately impressed by her level of professionalism and knowledge. During my first visit, she gave me a thorough evaluation & most importantly, I felt relief! She also explained where my weak areas are & taught me exercises to help strengthen them. If you’re in need of an attentive, professional & effective physical therapist, I recommend her services. Thank you Annie!
I’m eternally grateful for Dave!He was instrumental to my post-operative recovery from hip surgery. If you’re looking for an alternative to the “corner-store physical therapy mills”, I highly recommend Dave. He provides a treatment session that’s one-on-one (no “middlemen”), available in the privacy of your home (a lifesaver in the winter snow/ice), & personally customized (followed my surgeon’s instructions plus practiced everyday skills w/ me - up/down stairs, get in/out of car, walk outdoors on uneven NYC blocks, MTA subway commute, fall safety)Dave is a one-of-a-kind professional that improve my quality of life.
I cant recommend David highly enough, whom I began using following orthopedic surgery. He takes the time to understand the problems, then provides just the right treatment plan to alleviate pain, increase mobility, and enhance strength and stability. He is friendly, professional, and obviously has extensive expertise. Do yourself a favor: Call on David for your in-home physical therapy needs!
I am a private RN in NYC. David has always been professional, knowledgeable, and goal oriented with my client. I also worked with another member of his staff, and he was excellent as well. They also do not watch the clock and run out like other PT’s I have used in the past. I will definitely use him on future patients and I highly recommend him and his team.
David is phenomenal. He did some back work on me and it was magic. Even more amazing is watching the PT work he does on our Alzheimers patient. It cant be easy to work with someone in the stages of the disease that our patient is in, but he comes every week and not only does a superb job but we all have fun and look forward to his visits! Highly and seriously recommended!!
I have been working with David on a client for almost a year and I can vouch for David as a reliable, knowledgeable, and respectful therapist. The client is doing much better ever since David has been working with him. I strongly recommend him to work with all types of patients.
I developed a neurological movement disorder and had significant loss of balance, frequent falls, and back pain. At the same time, I started home physical therapy with Concierge Pain Relief at the recommendation of a close friend in my neighborhood.I’ve gone to other healthcare professionals in NYC and they were nice but, I felt like a number. Plus, their knowledge of how to tailor their treatment program to my personal requests and needs (and also even their ability to do so) was just not there.I have had Dr. Brad Smith as my home physical therapist. His real value is his depth and breadth of knowledge, skill, and his continuous analysis of my progress. His tailored approach yields real and measurable results in a short amount of time. I am a very satisfied client, AND I am more optimistic than ever that even more results can be achieved with my balance, strength, and overall health and wellness. So that I can return to walking, bike riding, hiking, traveling, and doing anything else I want... without the fear of falling in public or re-aggravating my old pains or arthritis. For any of you New Yorkers reading this... if you are motivated to progress, not live with the status quo, and not be bound to stay indoors at home... I suggest you make the first step and call Dr. Smith and Concierge Pain Relief. You have so much to gain and frankly so much to lose by not doing so. I know I was skeptical and unsure at first if this would work or be any different than other treatment approaches. This practice came highly recommended to me, and I can certainly see why. I highly recommend Concierge Pain Relief and am so thankful that Dr. Smith was recommended to us.
My video session with Dave was a huge help to me when I sprained my MCL. During the session, Dave was very clear in explaining what we were doing and why, and was equally patient with me as I did the exercises & motions he instructed. I found the video conference medium overall to be convenient and relaxing. Best of all, I continued with the exercises on my own and found my way back to total knee health. Thanks, Dave!
Dave was the upmost professional when I was treated for severe plantar fasciitis. I had received two medical opinions that would have required surgery, and another that suggested non-surgical options through PT. Dave took the time to get to know my injury and set me on the right course to treat my symptoms. His knowledge of the muscular system was apparent, as he walked me through his own routines for staying stretched before, during, and after athletics. Before being seen by him, I was worried I wouldnt be able to play sports again. After relieving the pain through massage and an amazing stretching routine, Dave helped me keep the pain under control. Concierge Pain Relief is highly recommended and was the best PT Ive ever been to.
As a fellow physical therapist, I respect Dr. Kittles dedication to his work. Each session is just as thorough as the first, each session is patient driven. Working with Concierge Pain Relief is different from other therapy groups in that you are listened to rather than simply told what to do. It is a collaborative approach that makes the experience memorable and gets you back on your feet doing the things you love to do.
I had back pain in my lower back which forced me to go to an emergency room on a vacation and made it very difficult do any normal activity much less exercise. I was treated with muscle relaxers and pain medication without any relief. I went through 6 physical therapy sessions locally when I returned from my vacation and did not experience any relief from the pain. I contacted Dave and we had a long phone call followed by a video consultation. Dave was able to show me a stretch routine with a couple of simple stretching exercises that relieved the pain I was experiencing and Im now 6 months later having no pain and able to exercise vigorously without any difficulty. Dave thinks about PT in innovative and effective ways that I would highly recommend.
I hurt my hamstring running one time and from that moment on it seriously limited my ability to exercise pain free. I tried different recommended exercises, but nothing seemed to work for more than a few minutes. On a visit to NYC, I got to see Dave who suggested a different approach. With a technique based on working the opposite side (to the one hurting), in just a few minutes and a couple of simple exercises I got to get rid of the pain. It was incredible! We even went running that afternoon. I still cant understand how that worked, but thats why I go to Dave. He knows.p.d. After a few months of repeating the same exercises the pain went away for good. I havent had an issue with my hamstring in 2 years!
From the initial consultation, through treatment, and even follow-up contact after my recovery, I cannot speak highly enough of the helpfulness and professionalism of this practice. The passion David has for helping others in their recovery is evident in the way the practice is run.
Before seeing Dr. Kittle, I had pain and numbness in my hand and fingers. An orthopedic diagnosed it as carpal tunnel but turns out Dr. Kittle found the root cause of it was coming from my neck! After 4 home sessions I am feeling much better and can work on my computer without symptoms. I recommend him and his team.
Dr. David Kittle is very knowledgeable and helped me a great deal. I was in a lot of pain due to plantar fasciitis. I made significant improvement and greatly reduced my pain. He is very attentive and has a wonderful personality. I highly recommend Dr. Dave if you are looking for a top notch physical therapist.
I had the pleasure of working alongside David Kittle in Manhattan. David is extremely knowledgeable and professional in his practice. David conveniently visits you in your home, so no more doctors visits for you. I highly recommend David for any of you physical therapy or rehab needs.
I couldnt be happier with Concierge Pain Relief. This is my first experience with physical therapy, and I received first-class attention from the start. David Kittle was immediately responsive to my initial inquiry and he set me up with a terrific therapist (Tyler Thiele) who came to my apartment for the first time today. Tyler did an initial assessment and we set right to work on exercises to loosen up my knees and to address the pain. Ive been a virtual shut-in for six months - but now I am looking forward to resuming a normal life in the near future. Three cheers for David, Tyler, and the Concierge team. Highly recommended!
The methodical approach used is beneficial to any patients aches and pains. They take time to evaluate you and where you can safely begin rehab and stay in constant contact with you as you try to progress. Having the capacity to make house calls is convenient for almost everyone, especially those post op that may have difficulties getting around. I recommend taking on the care the team has, Dave has been especially helpful in the process.
I had been dealing with severe lower back pain and sciatic nerve pain (sciatica) down my right leg for over 2 years. The pain was so bad I could not bend over to complete simple household tasks, let alone walk in Central Park.I eventually gave in to getting an MRI, where a herniated disc was found on a “pinched nerve” and subsequently three different back doctors labeled me as a candidate for back surgery. But, I had heard stories of one back surgery leading to subsequent back surgeries. So, I really didn’t want to start down that road.I’m a member of a couple corporate boards. A few board members had been previously talked about local physical therapists who had helped New Yorkers like them with pain and injuries. And, David Kittle was a name that was given several times as someone who helped. When I had my initial assessment (they offer home physical therapy and do housecalls!) with Dr. Kittle, he listened to all of my symptoms and even previous injuries/pain I had dealt with and created a treatment plan that not only addressed my back and leg issue but also helped with previous hip and knee pain. Within a matter of a few weeks treatment, my pain went from a 10 to a 0 and I was able to complete simple tasks again. After about six weeks I was able to start Dr. Kittle’s return to run program.I‘m very grateful to him because I have my life back and I am able to go about my work day and not have to worry about my back hurting or getting in the way of any activity or travel that’s on my calendar.I want to advise other New Yorkers: don’t allow the doctor rush you into a quick surgery. Seek out a professional like Dr. David Kittle and first try a less invasive form of healing.
I am a 60-something year old man with two artificial hips, arthritis and bursitis. A number of years ago, I found the pain in my shoulders was chronic and relentless. I went to my orthopedist and he recommended physical therapy, which is how I first met David Kittle. There is an old saying I grew up with and I will paraphrase it here: Give me a fish and I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish and I will eat for a lifetime.Dave Kittle ‘taught me to fish’ and, through his knowledge, skill, and patience, he really provided me with ongoing tools to help myself feel better. As I write this, I am just back from the local gym after doing the exercises Dave taught me years ago. I think of him each and every time I exercise and am grateful for what he provided me.I have known a number of physical therapists over the years, thanks to my hip replacements. Some were very good and one, in particular, was absolutely terrible. Dave Kittle was clearly the best: he stood head and shoulders over the others. Not only is he skilled but he is personable and takes the time to listen to what we are saying. (To emphasize how great he is, I fell in my driveway once wintry day a few years ago and fractured a bone in my arm. The driveway was very icy—hence the reason for my fall—and I had difficulty getting up. As I lay there trying to figure out how I was going to get back on my feet and knowing that I had done something to my arm, I thought, well, at least I will get to work with Dave Kittle again! Yes: he is THAT good.)I highly recommend Dave Kittle as an outstanding physical therapist. If I still lived in the area (I retired to North Carolina), I would not hesitate to use Dave again if needed. He has provided me the tools for a lifetime.
I contacted Dave Kittle because of pain in my pitching arm. I described the events that led to the injury and he immediately had me try a few stretches to assess the seriousness. He then had me gradually do more and more stretches that sped up the healing process and reduced pain. His experience in dealing with such cases really helped me and calmed me down. On top of that, he gave me great advice on which parts of the body to work on besides my arm, to help prevent future injury. Not only which excercises to do, but also why to do them. Overall, he had a very holistic approach which I feel is going to help me in the long run. I would highly recommend him for anything PT related.
I met Dr. Kittle through adult baseball. Even when he is playing sports for fun, he takes time to care for others, whether teammates or opponents. Its just the kind of guy he is. When I was recently injured, Dave gave great advice & helped me with stretches to mitigate the severity of the injury. Cant recommend him enough!
Recently I have met with Annie for private in-home yoga sessions. Not only does Annie have excellent knowledge on yoga itself but she excels at teaching others how to squeeze a certain part of the body, and makes sure you’re getting an amazing workout in. I would highly recommend, looking forward to our next yoga session!
Dr. Kittle not only has the knowledge to help alleviate whatever may be causing pain and discomfort but also makes you feel like you have known him for years. His non-drug pain relief philosophy has helped with the issues I have had with my lower back to the point that it no longer restricts my quality of life. He is absolutely the person to have evaluate and treat your ailments.
I was having muscular pain for two days in row that was waking me up in the middle of the night. I contacted Dave for his expertise. We jumped on a Zoom call to go over the current details. He assessed me, went over everything to help me with my pain. Not even 24 hours later and I was 40% better! How about that? Not even an in person visit, this was all done over a Zoom call. Dave, THANK YOU! You saved me.
When I started therapy with Dr. Dave, I could not walk. In his gentle, kind, and caring way, he guided me. My left leg was stiff and I was unable to raise it. After the second session I was able to raise my left leg. Thanks to Dr. Dave, I am walking with a walker. I know I will eventually be walking freely.
They amazing and well recommended Plus you have someone to talk to Its not like going to a clinic You have a better relationship With Them And They help you with everything you need Its not only if you injured your leg they could help you with other injuries And There there for you its not some other person taking over its them There really good at their job they know what their doing All I know is that I am very happy With them
I have been suffering from what has become chronic knee pain after running.Having seen numerous knee specialists, doctors and physical therapists I had given up hope. That was until Dr. Dave Kittle’s Concierge Pain Relief.Dave’s rigorous assessment and healing hands had an instant impact. Not just pain relief but instant improvement to my range of movement, but he provided a clear and concise explanation of what was causing me to experience the knee pain and provided a treatment plan.I now have hope and belief that I will be able to put a year of pain in the past and be back running pain free.

2022-04-11I’d give 10 stars if possible. Dr. Kittle correctly diagnosed the direct cause of my sciatica via an expert Q and A interview during the in-person session. He then showed me stretches and best practices to treat the cause and prevent future outbreaks. I went from thinking I’d be forever limited in what sports I could play to doing sprinting workouts within two weeks of our session. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you.

2021-08-26Dave is a no-nonsense, honest broker, who really knows his craft. He administered a diagnostic ultrasound exam to examine a nagging shoulder injury and gave me some good exercises that have helped reduce the pain. I’d recommend him to any athlete looking to stay in good physical health so they can continue playing the sports they love.

2021-03-05Upon our first session, Dave is super helpful on explaining all the treatments for my ankle (torn ligaments) and being super transparent on the cost. The in-home visits makes everything super easy and efficient and the treatments are really effective. My ankle has greatly improved, and hope to be able to play sports again soon! Would definitely recommend!

2021-05-11What a great service, it’s greatly improved my dad’s quality of life!I was connected with Concierge Pain Relief after my Dad, who is in his 80’s took a fall. Post the fall he was having difficulty standing and his walking had become shuffling. Dave quickly assessed the via the phone and offered to send Dr. Steve Caccire to work with my dad at home. In one session, Steve had shared with my dad how to successful stand and developed a plan to strengthen his body to improve his walking and overall mobility. My dad is now much more confident and secure is his overall mobility and continues to improve. Thanks Dave and Steve!

2021-11-25I have been working with Dr. Kittle for pain related to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS). I was in serious pain that was preventing me from sleeping, working, and most every day activities. He was very considerate and attentive in understanding my pains and issues. Since working with him, I have resumed most daily activities and can work for extended periods of time.Being able to do therapy at my own home was a huge benefit due to my busy schedule and helped make sure I got the support I needed.
