I was looking for a place to take some photos and Concrete Plant Park did not disappoint. The cute park beside the river still boasts several structures from an old Concrete Plant. The surrounding area still have several worn out and decaying structures, perfect for an urban photographer. There are lots of plants and flowers that attract butterflies which is really quite beautiful.

Beautiful Park 🏞️. They did a great job remodeling and cleaning. Great to take your family to escape the grind of the city.

Its an OK park honestly, I need a lot of maintenance, all the garage containers were full and trash every where.

Ok. So its been a while. The entrance on the bruckner is open. So come along. Please keep your dog leashed. The food way is struggling due to the overgrown mugwort, come and join and lets pull some weeds out.We have white and red raspberries, mint of various types, fruit trees and berries coming along, the community has planted corn, squash, and beans. Nice park to get away and clear your head. There are chairs and picnic tables. There are also benches near the water to sit and enjoy the view. The park has the emergency intercoms in posted throughout the park. In the warmer weather there are beautiful flowers and a garden. The park can get deserted at times sometimes there is a police car station in the park. A nice place to relax.

I love to go to Concreat Park because its so easy to go to compared to my other two favorite parks (Starlight and Soundview Park); whenever I am on foot that is. I love to sit by the water or stand and just wacth as the water passes along; my favorite is when the sun is out and reflecting off of the water. I love zooming through the bike path and how fast my bike can go (if no one is walking along it of course). I love the gardens and all the pretty flowers but nothing beats my favorite sunflower gardens; ugghh I love them and have tons of pics of them. Its a great park to ride around, go on a date, hang with friends, or to simply relax and taking in nature. Last but not least, I think the structures that still remain from the concrete manufacturing company is so cool!!! Also, that name of the park is unique to said structures. Ohhh.... its also cool to see the Amtrak zoom by lol

CONCRETE PARK IS NOW OPEN FOR PARK GOERS INTERESTED IN VISITING. Please be courteous to your fellow neighborhood and place trash and dog feces in the proper receptacles. PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE that the Faile Street connection to Hunts Point Park is still under construction as an alternative please use the BRUCKNER Expressway overpass to enter and exit the Hunts Point Section of the Bronx as it continues to be open. This entrance is located at the bedaus of the schools side entrance.

It is an interesting place and a great little park where green space is desperately needed. For me it was my destination for a subway-based folding kayak trip. And then on the next one it was my launch point. I live in Hells Kitchen and took my small (10 foot) folding Folbot Citibot kayak on the subway first to Shoelace Park off 219th Street and then paddled south on the river, going through the Botanical Garden and then taking out and breaking down my boat here before heading home again on the subway. Next trip came here and assembled my boat, then paddled from Concrete Plant Park around to the Bronx Kill, catching it at just enough water to get through then up the Harlem to Inwood where I took out dis-assembled the boat and took the subway home (albeit dripping water most of the way).

Pleasant small park along the banks of the Bronx River. The centerpiece is a group of 30 tall steel structures that were part of a concrete plant into the 1980s. This is a new style park with a short river walk, a drinking fountain, and little else. Good for a stroll and for views of the historic but derelict Westchester Avenue railroad station across the tracks. Taking one star off for lame chain link fence around the plant structures.
