The food is a 5 hands down. I enjoyed this delicious lemon meringue tart with the perfect balance of sweet on top of an amazing pastry crust. My camomile tea was the perfect temperature for tea. There are so many varieties of teas, coffee, pastries, cookies and cakes. There is seating but customers are not allowed bathroom access which is why I gave it 4 stars. It’s set up like a mini cafe so I am not sure why customers at least are not given bathroom access. The place is immaculate in terms of cleanliness and presentation. I sat with my friend and our kids to enjoy a treat. I would recommend visiting for sure.
My friend had bought cakes from here and it was a dry cake! I was choking with in the first bit. Definitely needed some water after that bite.P. S had waited an hour and half for a cake what was suppose to be ready earlier in the day!
Unfriendly non welcoming atmosphere . Nice , neat and seemingly clean place but the pastries have a weird aftertaste and are not sweet nor are they delicious .No one at the office enjoyed what I bought backIll never go in there again . Very disappointed customer here 😒
Great neighborhood bakery. The place is very warm and welcoming, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Most importantly the baked goods were delicious, and really thats all that matters. I recommend trying the Cheese and Guava Danish, its really good. Oh and try the vanilla Chai trully a treat on a cold day.

The staff was very friendly, polite, and helpful!I ordered 3 different slices of cake and all were AMAZING!! 💗 They were very fresh, light, and beautifully made. I have to come back for more! 😄 If you are thinking about stopping here, its worth the trip to me!

I have tried many Spanish bakeries, but this bakery is the best, they make a chocolate mousse cake that is out of this world. It’s a VERY CLEAN place, friendly and courteous. They are on downtown side of Webster just north of Bedford park Blvd across the street form New York botanical parking. Try this place for birthday cake and any other occasion you won’t be disappointed.
Great cafe/bakery! The lattes and cappuccinos are amazing! Also have non-dairy milks like oat, soy, almond and coconut milk. 💛
The customer service at this bakery is horrible. I placed an order for simple plain white cake. The cake was supposed to be ready at 12pm. I arrived at the bakery at 3 pm and the cake was not ready. You would think that someone would have called me to say, the cake is not ready we need more time. I waited 40 mins at the bakery and no one gave me the curtesy to say WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE WAIT OR HOW CAN WE ACCOMMODATE YOU! When I asked to speak to the owner he was very arrogant and dismissive . He never came out to speak to me. Once I realized that the owner who by the way is the baker, was actually icing the cake in the back 3.5 hours after it was scheduled to be ready I demanded a refund. I tried to support the mom and pop stores but this bakery didn’t deliver. Take your business where it’s appreciated.
Inconsistent. I live pretty close and have tried different things. Some of their breads are really good, others not so much (I made a better sourdough myself at the beginning of the pandemic lock down). Some of their pastries are good, others are too sweet and bland. Some of their staff are friendly and attentive, some of them are not. Their coffee is consistently good, though.
The sweets game is is surreal, the professionalism is phenomal, and the location is perfect. Ive purchased several cakes in the same week and each time was as perfect as the last. Good to finally have a bakery where Im proud and happy to invest in my community.
I had a bad experience ordering a custom cake from this bakery. I had a custom cake ordered placed for pickup 11/14 at 12pm, it is now 12:32pm and I am leaving the store with an incomplete cake. To top it off the cashier tried to sneak in an extra $5 charge. Only gave 2 stars because the food is delicious, but service sucks
She was really nice. I ordered a latte and it was really good. Got me hyped up. My son bought a slice of strawberry cake, which had high quality and tasted really good for a cheap price.
I was really disappointed the first time this happen to me was for my sister bridal shower my cake was 2 hours late I let it slide with no review because things happen but for my children first birthday party I order the cake to be done before noon since my party was from 1 pm to 4 pm . It was 3:30 and my cake was still not done . My guest were leaving the cake was still not there . I didn’t get to really enjoy their 1st birthday party worry about the cake I had to sing Happy Birthday with them in my home .I ended up with a 250 dollar cake for 4 people . I was so upset . I definitely can’t take away how absolutely delicious their cake . I really wish they would work on this because this place could be a five start

I hate to write this review, but wouldnt want anyone to experience what weve been through. I gave this business two stars because with a few exceptions our cakes for the most part have been tasty. With that being said I must stress the customer service is HORRIBLE!! I placed a cake order and was very specific with the time I would need the cake ready by. They were over two hours late!! over TWO hours!!! The ironic part is that wasnt the first time this has happened to my partner and I. Each and everytime the owner would give me an excuse and because we were loyal customers we would always give him the benefit of the doubt.I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism from any establishment in the past but I tried to oversee all the warning signs and excused the owner and his poor time management. To sum up our horrid experience, we were late to our own daughters birthday party, the owner was unapologetic didnt even offer a discount until I spoke to him and brought it up in which he seemed extremely bothered by. He was unpleasent and rude during my conversation with him. To make things worse because he rushed the cake, my daughters cake completely fell apart!! I payed $170(discount included) for an 8inch cake that fell apart!!!
Very delicious cakes. Ive been here about 3 times. Everytime I try to eat something different, cant complain so far. The service is good from staff. The food is made on site. Small seating area for 2. on each side. Could probably have more seating. Decor is really nice and always clean.
Great bakery. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Good Covid safety practices. Prices are pretty standard for a bakery. Go for the tres leche, the berry tart or the strawberry cake. Love that their stuff isnt overly sweet.
Amazing little bakery and cafe right outside the Botanical Gardens Entrance. It was a perfect neighborhood stop after a day at the garden on our way back to the subway. We stopped in to grab coffee and pastries and the cashier was super friendly and helpful--and the coffee was strong and delicious! Will definitely be making this neighborhood spot a regular part of our garden visits from now on!
On the morning of June 20th, out of nowhere, a cashier exclaimed If Im at the register, I wont be serving you. I have no idea of context. I applaud management for hiring persons with cognitive disabilities. I reported incident to owner and his response Ill get to the bottom of this. I proceeded to order my usual coffee. The coffee is excellent and so are the pastries. The service by this one cashier is sketchy and unprofessional.
Awesome chocolate cakes, gluten free berry tart. I’m serious about cakes, etc. I bake and am very picky.Sales staff are nice, helpful as well as bakery staff. I’m not a coffee drinker, but friend said it was awesome.Picky me says don’t bother with red velvet. Cake not soft or velvet like enough and frosting not cream cheese flavorful. I know many of my fellow Bronxites like the Mashmellowlike flavored cream, I’m not. So the strawberry shortcake icing is a no go for me. I want plain old whipped cream with sugar and vanilla.Any Gluten free near by future customers out there? Please add your voice to ask the to make one white GF loaf, chocolate, other items. They need more of demand.
I would like to say that this bakery is good, although it does have its flaws for instance, the other day I purchased a muffin and it was hard and stale its like they leave their pastries for an entire day till they run out so then they make a fresh batch. I feel like they should improved on that factor by making fresh batches when the others are stale. Yes i know this bakery is new in the area and the stuff there is good. I recommend that they should take recommendations from customers to see what pasteries they would like to see (personally I would like to see some other variety of cookies and bread) but overall this bakery is pretty good and there is always room for improvement
Really cute bakery. Ive only really tried the fruit tarts and dinner rolls, but both were delicious. The decor is cute and modern and there are a couple of tables and chairs if you want to stay for a bit. Great addition to the neighborhood.
So so. Is nice inside and everything but majority of their products are just a no from me. Starting with the prices that are a little expensive for what you get. I went there like an hour ago and had a hard time deciding what to get because everything was looking messy. I decide to get a Strawberry Shortcake 🍰 , a Guava Puff, a Pineapple Pie and a Canolí. The cake has way too much frosting, very sweet And tasting like no strawberry flavor at all. The pie was very hard to bite. Hard as a rock. Guava Puff just break apart like in 1000 pieces and I didn’t even get the chance to taste the guava because there was no guava at all inside. Only thing that I like was the canoli. I guess because it was my first time trying it.
Nice looking bakery, very clean, smells amazing when you walk in and great service. I tried the creme brulee for the first time today and it is Ah-mazing! I will be going there regularly.
A true gem in the neighborhood. Really delicious pastries, coffee and cakes (I’ve had something from all categories). Friendly staff and looks really nice inside. Very pleasantly surprised when I found this place. Will certainly be a repeat costumer.

I ordered a not so tasty muffin. I believe it was underbaked. Also the cashier receive better training. She didn’t greet me and was distracted engaged in a personal conversation with her friend who happened to be in the store at the time. I’ll give this business another chance bc i think this neighborhood could benefit from a independent bakery

Love this fairly new addition my neighborhood. Delicious deserts, pastries, breads, etc. The coffee is amazing and they have many different milk alternatives. The staff is always helpful and friendly
One of the few maybe only bakery in the bronx with a highly trained chef where they bake fresh bread on site and the best pastries around and Im not even a sweets person. Did I mention the amazing coffee?

I think this is the best bakery in the Norwood, Bedford park and Williambridge area. Probably the only real one. Staff is wonderful. Place is clean. Coffee is fresh and delicious. They. Even have Almond milk!The quality of food is wonderful.

You dont have to go to Little Italy for good pastries. You can get your fix ALL DAY LONG right in front of the Botanical Garden!!
I went there to get cupcakes for my moms b day I decided cupcakes over cake so there would be a variety they charged me full price for every cupcake(22 and they are small and not cheap)and charged me for the writing as well all of this and when I went to pick them up they were not ready I had to wait about 45min and this was mid afternoon smh if I would have bought a cake it would have cost me less than 1/2 of what I paid for the cupcakes

2022-02-07A Bronx Gem!! Angel and everyone was super kind and helpful when I needed a last minute cake by design for my aunts birthday. Affordable and their tres leches was a smash HIT at the party. They also make some pretty good coffee, and take the time to make sure its how you like it. So happy I found this pastry shop.

2022-03-24We’ve been going to this bakery ever since they opened, we knew this would be a “dangerous” place for us because it’s right next to my daughters karate, so every time she has class I walk in to confectionaires.. amazing, friendly staff.. they know me. They don’t know my order because I don’t have a specific oneI’m always trying something new because everything is just so deliciousFrom their fresh baked breads, to their amazing cakes, cookies & the drinksMust try drinks.. their iced chai latte!!! If you like coffee, make it a dirty chai! Their espresso.. just wow!Matcha lattes… listenWhatever you get, you will not regret it!!!It’s clean and the vibe is perfect, very minimal, which I love.. the only complain I’ve heard is that they take long… honestly I’m in no rush when I’m there so waiting doesn’t bother me at all.I’m always talking to the cashiers and anyone who walks in.. it’s a friendly environment.A great bakery for the Bronx, I love it.

2022-05-09I placed an order for this place 2 weeks before I needed my cakes. Granted it was mothers day so I placed my order 2 weeks early. Friday before I needed the cakes I was told they werent sure if they could do my cakes and I was not told a price until the very last minutesIt worked out where I was able to get my cakes. Fine. I originally asked for 12pm but was told I couldnt receive them until 1:30. OKAY. The day of the initial picking up of said cakes. I was called at 1:30 on the dot and told to come in at 2 pm. I got there at 1:50 and did not leave the establishment until after 3. I was constantly told 3 more minutes or 10 more minutes. My poor Niece and Nephew were late to their own birthday party, hence causing me to miss out on the time I paid for at a venue.I asked for a manager while I was there and I was told they did not have one and the next person i could speak to was busy.I called the next day (Today) asking for some sort of compensation such as 20% or so, because I was upset about the way I was treated. The girl on the phone proceeded to giggle and tell me I should be lucky the baker did my cake in the first place and if I want some sort of compensation or refund i should bring the cakes back.I have never worked with a more unprofessional or rude group of people. This place was recommended by a close friend of mine, however, it seems that due to prejudice, I was treated differently than she was.I honestly could have looked past all of this but the cakes being dry was my last straw.10/10 would not recommend.

2021-03-27I happened to pass by this Bakery, while on my way home. It seem new to me and the neighborhood so I decided to go in and purchase a few items to try them out after dinner. The storefront is appealing nice and simple giving y ou an Old Town Mainstreet American Shop. It reminded me of my visits to Disney World, the main street bakery of the Magic Kingdom. The inside of the shop is nice and edited. Simple, yet there are enough items to pick from. The personnel at the store is polite, with a great sense of costumer-service. Is a hidden GEM in the Bronx. I encourage people to visit and experience it for themselves.

2022-05-09DO NOT GO HERE!!! Extremely unprofessional from hiring people that can not input orders correctly for my friend’s order when she ordered the cake WEEKS AGO with constant communication. They had to finally input the order on Friday 5/5/22 since she was already communicating with them and had the design set. Her niece and nephews party was Sunday 5/8/2022 at a great distance away. They told her a certain time to be there and she still waited an hour and a half to get the cakes despite the event starting in 15 minutes!!!!! When she called for some sort of compensation THE LADY LAUGHED.

The bakery was nice and clean and all the baked goods were displayed lovely with the names and prices. If youre in the Bronx area and youre in need of the cookie of cake itch! 2022-05-09If I could give this place 0 stars then I would. They ruined my mother’s surprise birthday party :( My father and I had everything planned to a T on how we were going to surpise my mother. I reserved to pick up the cake TWO AND A HALF weeks before and to be picked up by 4:30 pm since my father took her to dinner while I got all the decorations and guests together. I got there by 4:20 and was told to wait 15 more minutes which was fine because it was only 5 minutes over the initial time. Can you believe I ended up waiting an hour and 13 minutes??!!! Not to mention, I live 45 minutes to an hour away and there was traffic so it took me longer to get the cake home!!! My father did everything he could to kill time. Unfortunately, they got there before me so everyone else said “surprise” and there I was coming in late with her cake. I only came to this place because my co-worker bought our boss a tres leche cake which was phenomenal but I’m disappointed in their professionalism and timing. If they would’ve communicated the delay then maybe my father and I could’ve worked out way around something.
