My car was just nearly towed after sitting in the parking lot of 711 at 782 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14222 for an unruly 15 minutes. Keep in mind that the sign in front of where i was parked read Parking for 711 customers only, all other will be towed. Now i concede that at the time I had parked in the lot only because I typically view 711 as a point of safe convenience but for a long time I have considered myself a loyal 711 customer even going so far as to travel out of my way on many occasions to buy their slurpees and preach about they cheap pizza(Many close to me will know how often I used to buy their Pizza). For my entire life I have thought myself a 711 customer. Today, from my perspective, I was rudely told by 711 that I am not their customer, and was forced to hand over 150$ cash to regain the liberty to leave with my car. Well, I guess I will follow 711s lead and no longer think of myself as their customer. Going forward I will not patron their business and will lead a personal boycott. With so many viable alternatives to 711s convenience I think it is completely out of line for them to tow my car because I am not a 711 customer. I would think that an establishment such as theirs would go out of their way to keep previously loyal customers such as myself rather than treat them in a way of such disregard.

Again another quick style store in the area with absolutely horrible reviews. I really dont get it. I have been going in and out of this place for years and nothing at all has stood out. The place is on the larger side with a lot of goods in it. I really have no idea why this place is only in the two star range.
I frequent this location had a really bad experience today.....I usually purchase 2 Snapple product brands and a breakfast essential.....there is a sale for Snapple product 2 for 2.50....the gentle men mike made an error on charging full price.....I showed him his error, he completely disregarded and said he was not correcting if I didnt like I could return everything.....I then sd I just wanted the deal....he then called police......I became irate and asked for manager......he apologized but the damage was done .......it took police to make him apologize and give me their corporate number and name which was refused earlier.....if you purchase this brand in past or future check your receipt the may have been stealing from you.....I will never go there again I suggest you dont....smh.....

2022-06-30A lot of people dont seem to understand the pressure that the employees at this door under with the three people I was just there at 1:08 a.m. On June 30th through the 24th front of the store party and hanging out figure for the people hiding behind the dumpster smoking crack and on the corner and if you dont have to deal with all that my only gripe is that two or three dollars does not mean the dollar 50 a piece it doesnt mean the dollar 75 its regular price and they dont tell you to register unlike tops or another Market thats a total rip-off I got the wrong product once bag Saturday to clear it out the second time the staff was nice enough to clear the second product out because I didnt understand you to be so much more than ever ties one of the guys at the store pulled $2 out of the stock and put it down and say Jeffrey do you owe me a dollar. I know they would not have done that for just anybody because its bad for business but they know whos our good customers are in the street people are these people go through a lot and they should be lauded for the fact its kind of decent to people

2021-08-12Im not sure if management reads the reviews on here but if so, the guy working the cash register yesterday evening, August 10th - I think his name was Michael? - has to have been the friendliest 7-Eleven clerk Ive ever met. Also, my wife thanks you for still carrying the 7-Select brand caramel butter pecan ice cream, which you never find anymore at the other locations.

2021-11-15Store is disgusting. Dirty floors and coffee counter always. NEVER do they have fresh coffee enless you make it yourself. They have black and house flies in the donut cabinet.

2020-11-21Was harassed by a non mask wearing disheveled employee (Nate) who stood less then 6ft away as I tried to conduct business making a purchase. He assumed that because I was a person of color that the associate behind the counter was in distress. As I tried to take my wallet out of my pocket, Nate proceeded to hover staring at my wallet arguing with me as I told him to back off.I have filed a report with corporate, although Im doubtful anything will be done. STOP harassing customers Nate... and take a Bath! Who comes to work looking like that???

2019-12-06I was lied to by the manager she said I could get a refund for a charger if I bring it in and it doesnt work, it didnt work and then I come in and told by the same manager that I cant return it. Really disingenuous business, the workers are fine but the manager has a problem with providing a refund on a 10 dollar charger also small big gulps are 1.50 when theyre 50 cents at any other 711. i had my receipt btw. Im getting a hold of corporate 711 to rectify the refund. All around the worst 711 Ive been to and Ive been to at least 15 different ones. For the love of God go to any other 7 eleven just look at all of the 1 stars.

2018-01-08They towed my car in less than two minutes. Those scumbags dont deserve your business. The owners eyes were red and watery like an alcoholics. When I asked who towed my car the guy played dumb and said he didnt call and also refused to give me the name of the company so I could get my car. Mind you this is 11am on a work day. Dont ever go to this store.

2018-10-22The owner is notorious on Elmwood for his terrible attitude, behaviour and negativity in the Elmwood community. The strip that this 7-11 is located at has booming businesses like Sqeeze juicery, Everything Elmwood, fern + arrow, SATO, Penzeys spices and some fantastic Buffalo stores.This 7-11 attracts negativity and brings everything in the vicinity down. I see many alcohol abusers who hang out in front and panhandle. They need assistance, not to be sold more booze or told to hangout outside.I watched as a 19 year old was shook down by the tow truck driver for parking for 5 minutes, buying a drink for 7-11, going to Panera bread across the street and get his car put on a tow truck. The tow driver demanded $260 and after the kid tells him he has only $200, the driver takes it.There have been times that the staff inside did not tell the car owner to where their car towed. Who does that? SCUMBAGS do that.All vehicles are towed by Riverside towing, 825-5578. Please inspect your vehicle for damage after pickup, document it, and litigate both parties. I hope the owner gets sued big time.

2017-07-07Do not go to this store. We went in to buy something, walked across street to get a coffee at Spot, came back 15/20 minutes later & they had our vehicle towed. Completely ridiculous! Park here & you will pay $277 to get your car back. Super lame. New owners are scumbags! Not a good way to run a business in Buffalo.
