This place is great I come almost everyday and they let me bring my jack Russell inside. Everyone is super friendly. Eli is the best thought. Good selection of items and not hard to find stuff.
I posted a review before and they erased it because i was saying the truth. Excelent customer service, except for one thing. There is a sign of no pets (ANIMALS) allowed, and people enter to the store with them and nobody say nothing. Thats disrespectful!

2022-05-04I went to this location after a long tired day from work. I went in around 7:30pm on Saturday . I walked in to purchase 2 pure leaf iced teas for sale now at $3.50. I waited online behind a couple that was being helped by the cashier. As soon as the cashier finished with the couple, he ran away from the register without serving me. So I stood there confused…he didn’t say he was leaving or coming back…so I’m standing there lost wondering if he’s going to help me. I waited long enough realizing that he wasn’t coming back. I had to let another cashier who was nearby already helping someone with balloons know what was going on. After he was done the 2nd cashier helped me. I asked him the name of the previous cashier. And can you believe, IT WAS THE MANAGER. I was shocked beyond believe that a manager could walk away from a paying customer then he yelled at the cashier asking him what’s wrong and making a poor excuse for why he left. Why is a manager explaining to a cashier about his bad behavior? He clearly doesn’t like to serve people and he clearly doesn’t like to make profits. He shouldn’t be working in that area. Send that manager to a tough area so he can appreciate the area he works in now. He should feel lucky to be working and be the one in charge. Fire him, demote him, retrain him, or transfer him. He is the worst example of a manger that I have ever seen at a Duane reade or Walgreens! Very low class, very unprofessional, and very egotistical!

2022-02-28The ragged look of the store made me think the prices would be low, but that is definitely not the case.I needed some first aid supplies and noticed the prices seemed really high for basic items. Left the store and walked to the CVS and found the prices to be half that of this store.

2021-10-23Worse Duane Reade ever. The staff is always so rude. Most of the time they’re all clustered to chat which would be fine with me but then if you need anything forget it, they can’t be bothered. I’ll go to CVS from now on.

2021-06-19This pharmacy labels themselves as a Fedex location but refuses to take in Fedex packages. We had to walk back home with a 50-pound box due to their laziness. Do not recommend.

2021-04-29Was refused vaccine with appointment. Staff were rude and dismissive. Very unhelpful.They say they have a shortage of vaccine, who gave it to them?Making a fortune off the city and doing the absolute minimum. Im disgusted.

2019-02-18Pharmacist Reshma fraudulently charged me the full price for a prescription that she only gave me 1/3 of the prescription amount. When I called her over the phone to ask why she charged me full price for a third of the prescription w/o even notifying me, she arrogantly stated its store policy to charge full price for partial refills and I will need to pay the full price again for the rest of the medication when its ready, and if its an issue I need to call my insurance. What..??? Charging customers twice for the same medication has never been Duane Reades policy!! Past pharmcists always notified us when they didnt have the full amount and asked if we wanted to pay for a partial, prorated of course, or wait to pick up the full amount when it was in stock. No notification of this from Reshma or the pharmacy cashier! I also had to call the manager at this store to report the double charging for medication and she was new as well. Ugh. If you want to waste hours of your time and pay twice and make 2 trips for one medication, then be forced to call your insurance to figure it out, then go here. This is FRAUD. Avoid this pharmacy!!

2018-01-27Frank and Rita are the best! When they are running the pharmacy dept. you are sure to be taken care of very well and quickly too. This dynamic duo goes above and beyond in caring for customers — So much so that you forget you’re at a Walgreens/Duane Reade chain store and instead feel like you’re at a small town neighborhood apothecary (without a Mr. Gower, of course).

2019-11-23Very unfriendly and rude manager. Did not want to accept my FedEx package while dimensions were within accepted range according to the website. Didnt even try to look for a solution and just walked away. Definitely not coming back here.

2017-09-18Nice big store, like most businesses you have two sets of staff. Those that show they are there to work and you also have your slackers. They have a large selection to choose from. Not my favorite when it comes to prices. I believe CVS and Rite Aid both beat them in that department.
