These are the pictures from 4/25/2020 I have chosen first car from the list on their lot. Both pictures show the same vehicle. 1st picture represents the vehicle bought on January 12th 2020. The vehicle was taken from the lot to a repair facility where fake repair was performed. Than the vehicle was brought back to Copart on 04/09/2020 and will be sold soon to an unsuspecting victim. I have checked 85 random vehicles today and 71 of them were all done the same way as this one here. We see this every day. Copart in this location is supporting that kind of business. They make deceiving pictures of these vehicles and allow these crooks to operate the scam for more than 15 years now. I am sending this message directly to Mike Cassata the manager of this location. Mike look at the google score that your location is receiving. You are supporting an illegal business for years. I saw so many angry customers that purchased these vehicles and lost their life savings because of these crooks! Mike please start seeing the harm that your company is causing regular people and small repair facilities that try to make a living! People, please stop buying vehicles from this location! Check them out before you bid on google to see if the vehicle was previously sold. Lastly only buy vehicles that are listed directly by insurance companies and not third party providers (crooks).
THIS FACILITY LOST THE KEY TO MY CAR, BLAMED THE TOW TRUCK COMPANY. I SPOKE TO TOW TRUCK OWNER AND DRIVER WHICH ALSO CALLED COPART PERTAINING TO THIS FALSE ISSUE IN WHICH KAYLA THE MAMAGER HAD NOTHING TO SAY! KAYLA AND HER STAFF ADVISED ME TO HIRE A LAWYER TO REPRESENT ME AND START A SUIT FOR MY KEY. WHAT A DISGUSTING BUSINESS. BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WILL DEF BE CONTACTED.
As soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed help. I explained to the lady my situation and a few of them jumped into action. Unfortunately they were unable to help me but they did take my Information just in case my item appeared. After me losing hope I et a call from Laurie with good news She found my stuff and even took the initiative to return my belongings im sure if you ever encounter Copart you will have a great experience as well Thank you to the staff I appreciate ya
Dont do business with these crooks I bought a run and drive jeep It had frozen water in the throttle body when I received it They never started it ! LIES The headlight were drilled so water wouldnt show in pictures they use low resolution pictures also to mislead on damagesSo after I bought they ran a loader into the front and would not do anything about itPlease register complaints on the way they mislead people
Absolutely trash and deceiving. They did not list this car to have minor dents and scratches!! And you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than them doing right thing and relisting the car correctly or giving you money back. And I have more deceiving stories from other Copart locations
Run run from this place . The manager is in on it . They work with a bunch of scam artist. They will get a trashed vehicle missing a computer and make it look pretty says run and drive . In reality it will never run . The manager is a millionaire from this . This place gotta be shut down
Website says they close at 5pm. That is for the yard, the office closes at 4pm and they are closed weekends. Good to know of you are traveling a few hours to get here.After reading the other reviews I was kind of concerned. But I had already bought my trailer on copart so I had expected the worst.Actually, it was very good. Customer service in the office was great. I got there 5 minutes before they closed and they took care of me. It was quick, they told me what I had to do since it was my first time there. Paid my storage fees and then I drove down to the yard.You take you paperwork to a forklift operator and they let you know where to go. They were helpful, they cant pick up trailers with their equipment so you drive in, hook up and thats it. It was painless.
The drivers lie! Had an appointment to have my car towed (someone hit it and it is totaled). I call the previous Friday for an appointment at 3:30pm the following Monday and was told they would call me around 2:30 to confirm the appointment. Monday at 3 I had not received a confirmation call so I called the place. The man I spoke to seemed in a rush and a little annoyed and basically said they don’t usually call before hand but that my appointment is still there and the tow truck is on it’s way, even confirming the address so I know that was accurate. Come 7pm, my crashed car is still on the side of the road and no tow truck. I call the place and they are closed. Completely unprofessional. Not even a call to let me know the tow truck driver will be late. I only used this company because my insurance recommended them but I will be letting my insurance company know what happened and tell them to know recommend them again.Update: just called the following morning and the driver is claiming they attempted to call me yesterday. This is untrue as my phone was on high ring and I had no missed calls. My boyfriend and I also sat on our balcony for HOURS and no tow truck showed up ever. They said they can reschedule for tomorrow afternoon, which will officially make it a week after my car was totaled 🙃 I would give 0 stars if I could.
Copart is nothing but a money laundry machine for big fishes, They provide picture taken in angles to hide the flaws of the vehicle with wrong information. They sold me a clean title running and driving car and its nothing but junk they had ti use the forklift to load it.I think its about time for the US government expose these greedy business using the system for their own benefit only, affect US citizens everyday. Money laundry, bribes, good cars go to certain people only and on and on are taking a place in these auction houses everyday and guess who is paying the price.

Theres been a change in management in that yard and from the past posts, it was long overdue. Out of the 20+ yards I have been to so far, this is by far the busiest. There were issues with all of my 5 items but Mike was great in dealing with them. Jackie in the office was very pleasant and showed genuine concern for the wait I had to experience. I cant say enough about Thomas, the yard manager. He was very helpful in dealing with a less than perfect load. Leave your attitude in the truck and find a great group right here folks. Loaders cant load you any faster than theyre going!
Working with Coaprt Marlboro for the past 5 years and have nothing but positive and good feedback to give them. The employees are very nice and very respectfully. They try to help as much as they can. Management keeps the place safe and well organized. Phone support and front desk employees are very nice and they go above and beyond to help customers.Keep up the good work.
We bought car with Announcement RUN AND DRIVE. Track came to pickup and got completely destroyed unit. No start not drive. Liars!!! We tried to make arbitration, explain them Situation. So CDS Manager his name is Collin. Trying to tell me I have to come and check the car before payment and many stooped things. I don’t have to!!! I didn’t argue with him I didn’t scream. He said nothing he can do about it. My client rejected Of course and I lost 10,800$. I don’t understand what is my fault I bought it run and drive. Worst experience.Worst auction and worst manager.
Badgered by Auto Auction Mall online car seller (suppose to sell cars at dealer prices for non- dealers) to go look @ cars. They refused to sell me a car in Ohio unless I looked at it in person! What is the use of having an online car sale nationwide, but will not sell you a car without inspection? They did refund my $600. However, I drove over 200 miles in a BORROWED car for nothing!! I didnt even get to see any cars! IT WAS A WASTED TRIP BECAUSE THEY KEPT SAYING GOTCHA AND I KEPT SAYING TO THEM OVER THE PHONE AND TO THEIR FACE I AM NOT A CAR DEALER. ABSOLUTE B.S. MARKETING/ ADVERTISING! THEY SEEM TO BE TRYING TO MAKE ME GET A COPART MEMBERSHIP, AND EXPECT ME TO BUY MULTIPLE CARS. THE WHOLE THING WAS NONSENSE AND B.S., LIKE BEING PUNKED!
This location has office workers that are amazing. Colleen & Lori should be trainers on how drivers should be treated when entering a copart office. I can say that not all copart locations have this type of niceness. Especially in NJ. I have now switched my profile up to where I can pickup at this location more because of there kindness. Also, the forklift guys get a bad rap from other drivers, but NOT FROM ME. Those guys have been great also.Sincerely Anthony Gould
This company is the absolute worst, most unprofessional company Ive ever had the displeasure of doing business with I was trying to donate my used vehicle to a charity and Copart was the vendor who would be doing the car pickup. I called Copart in mid-December and they werent able to set a date for pick-up until mid January. They failed to show up on the appointed day and did not bother to call to cancel. When I called them, I was told I was taken out of the system for that day because they were too busy. If I hadnt called them, I never would have known. I then rescheduled the pick-up for a few days later and confirmed the day with customer service. For the second time, Copart failed to show up at my house and did not call. I waited for them from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. No call, no explanation, no show.I called the next day and asked to speak to a manager. I was told that no one was available and that I would be called back. No one ever called. I called again the next day with the same request. I was put on hold for so long that I finally hung up.I found another vendor for my car pick-up and had the whole thing taken care of in a few hours.How Copart can stay in business and how any charitable organization can use them as one of their vendors is beyond me. They should be run out of town. Horrible company, rude and discourteous. A train wreck.
The Worst auction I have ever been bad experience with the management Brian Robinson and CHERIE HARGROVEI bought a car and they put on the descriptions it has no second damage and no mechanic issues later on I figured out the vehicle need engine for 8000$ I spoke with both manger and all what they said there’s nothing we could do about it be careful guys from this auction
My company, Nationwide Towing, works with Coparts Marlboro by transporting cars. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this company. They are courtesy and efficient. When I transport cars to their clients, they always have a smile on their face and are always happy with their experience. I would highly recommend this place, whether you are looking to buy or sell your vehicle .
I went here today, Dec 31s, New Years eve. The staff was very friendly and helpful and quick. It was my first time visiting a COPART. The facility was modern and comfortable. I didnt even know my buyers ID number and they looked it up for me through my broker. I dont know how they could have provided better service.
Not sure whats up with the loaders here but every time u go there its at least a 2 hour wait to get loaded. I usually only come for one car so its not worth the wait unless youre loading a 10 car stinger.. i counted how many cars per hour one forklift driver loads and it was 3. Yes 3 cars. Office ladies are very efficient though
Was told to leave my title and keys in car because it would be picked up while I was at work. They didnt come until almost 6 to pick up the car. I was also told a check would be left for me and the lady even asked where they should leave it, they never left it but still took my car. I am now waiting to recieve the check in the mail. Not a good experience!
I have been a copart member for over 9 yrs and i have not encounter a more dynamic team/staff as this Newburgh team. I called earlier at his morning with a very big problem on my account regarding a vehicle in this yard and every single staff member there did their job to their full capability, and the most intention to help; within minutes I had the auction coordinator take at look at the situation and over the next few minutes Mr NATE was on the phone talking to me letting me know the he was on top of it and would get back to me shortly while setting the expectations as to what he was most likely be able to do.As promised he called me back and delivered!! This was a team effort at that facility by every single one who touched bases with me today. That is the reason why I decided to leave this review!!! ”KUDOS” TO EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER AT THE COPART NEWBURGH FACILITY!!Ones again, Thank you 🙏🏼
Dont even think about going there if you arent willing to bribe the loading guy.My Driver had 5 hours wait, and they ignore you if you arent holding up bribe money.Dont buy there. Dont go there.They are rude and unprofessional.Coparts are iffy at best, but this in the most unbelievable.Never got loaded. Had to leave.
Worst experience ever with copart a bunch of lazy people that dont do their jobs even when u pay them. I paid for a condition report on a vehicle and got it after the vehicle went up for action really ? That doesnt help. I also payed for an inspection twice and they called me on the day of the auction saying that their guy couldnt make it ,well why did u take my money. I asked to talk to the manager at newburgh yard so we can resolve these issues like normal people instead he sends one of his assistants. A bunch of uneducated people working here to rip u off. If u dont want to lose money and waste ur time and breath steer clear of these losers.
I have been dealing wit Copart since they took over from the old school auctions when you use to bid on cars at the yards instead of the internet .Times changed and technology has changed the world .Ive had my share of problems buying cars from such a big company as the turned into from seeing what the future looked like ahead .like any other big company that is smart about growing in todays world.Just that one thing is missing as we see in todays big corporate world. Do they care anymore who you are or just about the bottom line numbers at the end of the week.Some guys really do as I just experienced in a yard with all do respect was very difficult to do business with until now that new management has made this difference .Because of that I took out the time to write this review to let some of you guys like me know that this new team of management will go out of the way to make this particular location one of the top yards to do business with.Bottom line its nice to see these people took a interest in handling a problem and put in the time correcting it for me .That goes a long way in my world .Take care of the people that take care of you.Thanks again !Tom Frigenti TFT Diamond Auto Sales.
Copart-Newburg, The General Manager MIKE CASSATA, is a legit Scammer, I went to Copart to pick up Vehicles I purchased, They kept insisting car was at there sub-lot, yet car was at the main lot, they did not know where the car was, it took a guy from the Sub-lot to notice that the car was in the main lot all along, I went and finally picked up the car, but they insisted I pay late fees due to the fact it was Copart screw up for miss placing the car, I spoke to the manager there who referred me to MIKE CASSATA the General manager, MIKE CASSATA offered me to drop/Waive fees if I would give him a 5 star review on Google, I explained to him I was not going to falsely do a false review because of the Fees. Fortunately I recorded the entire incident and it has been passed on to the New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Dont buy from this auction trucks or cars, because a lots of cars are setup junk!!! you will regret it! There’s garage from VT does little fix like puts new hood and front grill makes it look like a little damage to the front end, but in reality when I googled Vin# they just did s little fix and running back through this auction! Bunch of scammers trying to make quick money! You will regret just like I did!!!! Don’t buy anything from this scam people! And the manager Part of this deal probably getting paid on a side to screw people that wants to do business!!!
Exceptional work from The yard manager mike and GM Tommy these two representatives of copart were very helpful assisting me “after normal business hours” with locating a car that wasn’t where it was supposed to be at the time ...they are the epitome of what a company needs to succeed people who go above and beyond to perform the best job possible
If I could give 0 starts I would. I am a salvage yard owner and purchase 100s of vehicles a year from a handful off salvage auctions. Copart is the worst. This branch in particular. They make up their own policies as they go along. I bid on 3 vehicles on Feb 16 and was notified later that night that I had one the vehicles. Coparts website clearly states that you have three business days to pay for your vehicles. Friday morning I initiated a wire transfer from my bank. Monday was Presidents day a federal bank holiday so the payment posted on their end on Thursday. They had the nerve to charge me $150 fee stating that they were open Monday so its not their fault that we were charged. I explained to them that it clearly states three business days and that I wired the funds right when I found out I was the winner. Their assistant Gm Jennifer McMillians educated response to me was that its because they were open so they dont recognize banking holidays. Makes really good sense considering they are paid through wire transfers you would think they would recognize banking holidays. They clearly just make things up as they go along. The inmates run the asylum over there. There is a very poor chain of command and their main customer service number isnt any better. STAY AWAY.
3 words that come to mind dealing over the phone with them, rude, inconsiderate and ignorant. Only part worse than that was going into receive a check and having it be written for the wrong amount so I got to stand there and listen to them employees complain about how they would help their customers whenever they damn well felt like it. They used profane language and had no idea what was going on in there own store. I pity any poor soul who has to deal with this branch, the rochester branch however was very helpful.
Ct auto transport llc has been working with Copart in Newburge for years and the management and office staff are amazing they always greet there customers with a smile they are always going out of there way to make there customers feel wanted and appreciated I would also like to say that there manager mike has always helped our office with any problems or bumps in the road along the way in picking up any of our vehicles he and his office staff are amazing
My father came home absolutely distressed over his visit to this location solely due to Miriam (front desk clerk). She made a VERY racist comment to him because if his last name and was whole unhelpful. She sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes, flat out refusing to help him.
Worst experience I ever had with any copart.worst copart to deal with because the general manager is a dictator or a Hitler ..bought a suv listed as a vehicle with front end damage well because I know copart deals with shady resellers like NJ RECOVERY GROUP INC. that teaming up with copart this shady resellers buy really bad wrecked vehicles Mickey mouse fix and change location and put it up for sale and with the help of general managers sell vehicles with lies to the buyers and with the help of the general manager list vehicles incorrectly for profit because general managers get commission from the sales,god knows probably kickbacks from this shady sellers!!Well back to my story:I live in california went to NY copart to receive vehicle and make sure vehicle is how is listed in s as le /auction description...well suv description said run and drives!!!Well it didnt y as rd employee that was great service cause he tried to turn it on by placing a battery charger/jumper, well he didnt have luck so no the suv didnt turn on..*suv has mechanical damage which general manager david decided to hide for higher profits..*Suv had frame damage!!!!*Suv clearly had been previously half ass repair or how copart calls it partial repairs well not this suv..David general manager worst general manager I ever dealt with in the last 20 years dealing with copart was a narcissist because after all this flaws of business deceit and malpractice of such particular lot that I had purchase and paid for.i asked for full reversal of my funds...well thats when he told me that I shouldnt lk d have done my research better on suv before buying it tg as t I would not get credited nor funds and w as liked away......I do have proofs on pictures and videos of such lot I have so much proof of this incident will be looking ft. Or guidance on lawsuit..dont buy from that copart unless the car description is that is from a insurance seller but with that general manager running th as t copart with shady practices you cant trust that Copart at all ..california coparts are great in understanding abs reverse lots that have slip through bit david the general manager from copart marlboro /newbourgh definitely has his whole staff behind him a real hitler.....

I rate this copart a negative zero. They really forked up the vehicle I purchased. I inspected the car before I purchased it. They were very busy. They forked my car and bounced it around as fast as they could drive. Both fenders, the bumper and hood are now damaged. What the F Copart. What do you think I purchased this vehicle for, scrap? Total waste of a day and they destroyed what I paid them for.
Avoid!!!!! theft is bad at this location.. if you have not seen the truck or car the day of sale do not buy!! they will blame the shipper and take no responsibility.. copart corporate I hope all these feedbacks get to you and you make it right with me and everyone else!!
I paid for the car and shipping the day after I bought it. After receiving confirmation I was ignored for the next week until I was charged for storage costs for the car I just bought. Apparently they no longer ship to Long island (yes in the very same state of New York) and couldnt tell me that until I had already paid for shipping and been charged for storage. This place is an unorganized mess, AVOID.
Was a buyer and was a transporter camping to this yard is problem . It is Dec 28 and its freezing they make you stay by the gate with the paperwork in n your hand for a good hour ur 2 was the loaders pass by you and see you there freezing . Its like they do it on purpose
Good prices for junk cars but expect to wait min 1.5 hrs to get your car on a slow day and on a busy day alot at least 2 hrs .. not worth the waiting time compared to other copart locations ... if the organization was as good in the yard as the office, I would rate this copart location higher

2022-06-16If I could give a negative review I would. We bought a car from Jason outside of the auction everything was going great until we bought the car and he removed the head rest from the back seat without our knowledge and when we asked he basically said not his problem when we bought the car with everything in it. He said the car had nothing wrong but so much was wrong. Then he didn’t sign the papers fully we asked to meet and he agreed then the morning of he never showed.

2022-07-11The worst experience ever. We bought a Backhoe and when We picked it up the bucket (a costly part) was missing, We called customer service to claim it they said the part had been found and they asked when Were going to pick it up We told We need to plan it and Well let them know ASAP. Once We had gotten the pickup date They said the part was missing again so We sent a presentative to speak with the manager at the yard since They never provided a phone number, when our man got there the part was on site but They Charged us $360 storage fee which is crazy.

2022-04-25- Took a look around. Copart auctions. Giant selection modtly damaged vehicles.They seem to be the prime auctioneer of insurance claimed recovered automobiles in the USA. They have many location. I believe that if you are knowledgeable that Copart is the place to go if you want a fixer-up ranging from a junk car to a slightly damaged Rolls

2021-12-29I wish I could give less than one star.I visited this location to preview a car before purchasing. The listing was active when I got there and the agent verified this when I arrived. I went down to the yard to see the car and after waiting half an hour, they couldnt find the car. When I went back to the office, I waited another half an hour while the manager tried to figure out what happened. I left - and a few minutes after I left, the listing was updated as sold.I think this car was sold in an arrangement off the website. Perhaps to a valued customer. This car didnt sell in the few minutes it took me to get from the office to the yard. This car was probably already sold. I dont care about the likely off website transaction or preferring certain customers, but you shouldnt waste other customers time.

2022-01-20If I could give them -5000 in review it is horrible experience we bought many cars from them my transporter came 1200 miles with 8 cars with no keys to a single car. So I called them and they were ooooo too bad. I gave them my Fed Ex account to over night it and couple days passed by and it never happened. Trying to get in touch with the yard manager Mike Caruso and no luck
