CoreLife Eatery in other cities:
So surprised! Ive never heard of this place before and its fantastic.... !design ur own salad is the basic premise. They have a variety of perfectly pre arranged menu items if its ur 1st time, altho me saying salad does not do justice to these filling tasty healthy meal-bowls...
I always get build your own salad which involves any type of lettuce you want with all kinds of toppings which i believe you get four.. Also can get grain bowl and add quinoa or rice along with everything else in salad. Their dressings are amazing especially the Greek yogurt Caesar so I even buy them on the side. Then I get the broccoli and cheese soup which I add rice noodles and/or parmesan crisps to. Everything is made from scratch I do believe and all super healthy! Definitely somewhere I recommend and I for once have no complaints for a restaurant 😁 price great too. I normally spend at most fifteen for everything I get.. Which is alot
At the Clarence location there’s a manager by the name of Tracey. She is very rude and condescending. The food is great I love it but it makes me not want to come back with the negative energy. Her cleanliness is Horrible she didn’t change her gloves when she returned from the back and started touching my food. She made ignorant remarks with her staff and I was completely disgusted.
I ordered core life last night and this morning. Both times I ordered there were missing items. Last night I was missing side salsa and there was no dressing on my salad or on the side. Today I had no oranges in my kids meal and there was random ingredients in all of my food. My mac had a chunk of lettuce in it, there were 3 raisins in my wrap, and there were white seeds in my rice from the kids bowl. I also got no fork spoons or napkins. For how expensive the food is its really disappointing and kind of gross (especially when you find random food hidden through your meal). It’s always a gamble going here for food there’s always missing items or ingredients when you pick up.
My first visit to CoreLife on 10/24 @6:00 p.m. was not a good one. I specifically went there for a low sodium meal. The girl taking my order was sweet but the girl (no name tag) can be identified by a tattoo on each arm was extremely condescending and rude. I had asked if they had any info on the sodium and she rudely said NO. I ordered a bowl and she said we dont have it. Every question was answered back in a snarky manner. When I got to the end I asked the guy if he could cut the wrap in two and he said he couldnt! Not sure if that is some kind of rule but seemed strange to me they cant cut something in two. I promise you I am not a rude or demanding customer and I usually would not complain because there a far worse issues in this world, but if I was the owner of this CoreLife Eatery I would really want to know that my staff provided a really unpleasant experience and made a customer feel like a bother.
I just discovered this place, after driving by it a billion times. My son raves about it, and I stopped in to get a gift card for him for Christmas. I had a taco, and more recently, a bowl. Im HOOKED on this place. I want to try one of everything. So delicious and healthy! I love it, and will be stopping by a lot more. We need more of these opened. Great, healthy food - and I love the drink made with beets.
They raised their prices for the double steak bacon and blue bowl along with avocado and a drink was $20.01.The store floors were sticky, 3 drink dispensers werent working properly (had to push the lever open by hand and wait while it dribbled out, and the raisins scooped into my bowl even had some kind of root in it (was unnerving chewing on a root that should have been a raisin). This is my first less than amazing experience in quite a while at this store. Prices went up, quality and experience went down.
Was a sign stating wear a mask if medically able, I cant. A bully told me she would not serve me. I informed her that was discrimination, she told me I dont care, I wont serve you. Id been a long time diner and generous tipper. Ill not be going back. Businesses like that deserve to crash and fail..** While a appreciate your canned response on 1/4/22.. Just what do you plan do do about the active act of discrimination inflicted on me from the bully at your Clarence NY location? I think I deserve a reasonable response. Ive been a regular customer of this location since it opened. I did not recognize majority of the staff when I visited this time. 1/6/22
My family ordered here for the first time. We attempted to order online but when we went to check out, the order was over $6 more than what it should have been. There was no breakdown of extra charges or fees so we decided to call and place the order over the phone which was time consuming. First impression was not good but we were optimistic that the food would be pretty good. My kids got the chicken noodle soup, it looked good but the second I tasted it I knew that the kids were going to be disgusted by it. It tasted like warm water. I was right, they hated it. My husband and I ordered a soup and salad combo. I can say that the salad was definitely fresh but it tasted very dry. Very little dressing or it didnt have much flavor. I had to add our own. Now, the Curry soup.....one of the worst foods I may have ever eaten. Ever. I love curry dishes and the picture online looked phenomenal. The soup I received was completely disgusting. It had barely anything in it and was mostly just broth. It tasted like it was watered down tremendously. Very deceiving considering the picture online shows a nice hardy bowl of soup. Overall we were just really disappointed of what the food actually tasted like. from the reviews it looks like there are a lot of people that really like this restaurant, which is great, but I have to say that we will not be coming back and will not be recommending it.
I came here after going to the one in Orchard Park and did a review there I was offered vouchers for a free meal.I did come here a little before noon to make sure I was back to work on time. The food again was excellent. The the flavor in my mouth was so great, Id eat here every day. The service was great as well. The girls making my food answers all of my questions and were very knowledgeable. In fact a customer behind me asked the girl taking the order what is your favorite? and she had a response for if she was looking for a rice bowl, salad or soup, I was really impressed.
The food on this location was not fresh. I ordered Taco stake bowl and the stake was cold. The staff were in rush and were not helpful at all. The staff need to be a little patient with customers. Overall I give 4 out of 10 for the food and customer service at this location. Cheers
I have been a loyal customer to corelife ever since i tried it a year ago, but it seems as though this location is constantly making mistakes. there have been many times that the broth was missing completely from a broth bowl, or i was given the wrong protein, and my first meal there, there was even a long strand of hair in my food that i did not even realize was in my food until it was actually in my mouth. At first i overlooked all of these incidents because i enjoyed the food and i did not want to make a big deal because i understand that mistakes do happen. I was just there now, and i placed an online pickup order. When i arrived there it was 11:31am and when i left it was 11:45am. The whole entire 14 minutes that i was standing there waiting, i saw my order sitting right next to cashier on the counter the whole entire time as well as multiple other orders just sitting there. My chicken that i received in my salad due to waiting for 15 minutes is now cold. I am getting very tired of these experiences just to overlook them because of the food quality. extremely disappointing, and if this continues i am done with this place.
It was ok. I got the Korean BBQ Pork rice bowl. Not terrible but not worth the $11 imo. The food was cold. I got takeout, so of course I dont necessarily expect the food to be piping hot by the time I get to it (~10 minutes), but it wasnt even warm, it was freezing. They also hardly gave me any rice. At first I thought my order got messed up and they didnt add rice at all, but I found a bit at the bottom. The majority of bites were only vegetable. And I shouldnt be surprised that the kimchi could hardly even pass as kimchi, but in case anyone was wondering, its a pretty sad excuse for kimchi. Was hoping to find a place nearby to get bibimbap, but I think Id rather drive the extra 10 minutes to a Korean restaurant which will be cheaper, tastier, and actually have an acceptable amount of rice.Im not sure about their other menu items, but honestly its all just a bit overpriced for me to justify buying it.
I knows people who absolutely love this place. I gave it a 4/5 because its delicious, but too pricey for me. I think they are some alternatives that compete very well with price. However, you get a huge bowl of food and it is delicious. I know people that go everyday and enjoy it everyday. I would be satisfied with going once every few months, but it was great overall! Tasty, satisfying, healthier, and a clean atmosphere! Enjoy!
Great place to have a healthy alternative choice of food. Great options of salads and rice noodles and friendly staff. The only issue I had was during ordering my salad I chose a salad with ingredients pre-selected and the guy forgot an ingredient. Glad I was paying attention. Then my mom went next and they forgot her chicken. I had to ask if it included chicken, they said yes then added it in.
The food is really good but, just like Chipotle, many of the line workers have attitudes. They are not pleasant and rush you through everything and I dont particularly like that. And if you are ordering for more than 1 person you hold up the entire line trying to tell them what you want on each different order as they rush you through the line. But it is very clean in there and some of the employees do seem to appreciate that they are employed. So 4 stars!
The first 2 times my wife and I ate here for lunch, they had recently opened and it was really good. We told a bunch of friends and family how good and clean the food was. We both stopped for lunch today and we were kind of disappointed. The meat was dry, and some of the rice was under cooked and crunchy which really ruined both of our meals. We both ordered the same thing (BBQ Korean beef bowls) but the quality wasn’t there. At almost $24 for lunch with no drinks, we weren’t happy. I’ll just take it as a bad day which is why I gave them 4 stars and not 3
I was looking so forward to trying this place. The service really is quick but with a rotten attitude. Got the Spicy Ginger Beef Bowl. Horrible at best. Broth was very oily and flavorless. At $26, for two soup bowls and drink, l forced myself to eat what was in the bowl but the broth wasnt edible and left it. Fool me once but you wont fool me twice.
Great wholesome food. Rude service, annoyed with simple requests. I watched one line server sweep the floor with vinyl gloves on and then start preparing a salad with the same gloves. Real problem with service quality. But food so awesome that I keep going back. Now I order online. But often I still have to ask for something to be addressed even if routine order.
I went to the transit location and was very disappointed in the service! The most TRACEY is very rude to the customers and makes nasty remarks about corelife other location Amherst, which as to be very embarrassing for a company as a whole! When I complained in a review before in my email, I was promised a free entree that I NEVER received! This company does not care about there customers.
3/4 of us enjoyed our dinners here, however I did not. I had the Curry Chicken Bowl, with rice noodles. It was very greasy because the oil had not been skimmed off the top of the chicken broth , and the server didnt bother to stir the broth so the flavor was bland, no real Thai Curry flavor (coconut milk, lemongrass, Thai basil missing) - YUK
Great clean and healthy eating choice. The menu consists of grain bowls, broth bowls or green bowls. The menu changes from time to time but everything can be customize. Selection of different house made lemonades, iced tea and iced coffee for drink options. They handle allergies very seriously. Would go back again.
Not sure how this is rated so high. Food and service were both terrible. Not worth a second try in my opinion. Too many other great options nearby.UPDATE: Worth noting that my one and only visit was with my friend and it was when they had 1st opened. Recently they told me that it had since become one of their favorite places to eat. I have increased the rating because of that.
1st visit & most likely not rushing back. It amounts to a very expensive $10 salad with a very, very skimppy helping of grilled protein (chicken). Wife & I each counted the nickel sized pieces of chicken they deem a helping...10 less than bite size. 2 salads & a 1 size only drink just under $25. Rip off!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have come in twice, both times staff was extremely rude and the tables were filthy. Food was bad too, the steak was charred and really fatty. Would not recommend and will not be returning. Have been to other locations and loved it, but the Clarence location is very disappointing.
Menu is difficult to understand unless youve been here before. Cant tell if this place is trying to be a build your own type of experience or theyre just preparing your food in front of you. Was told not all of the toppings/selections were for what i ordered, was very disappointed about this. Youre getting an overpriced salad if you come here. Was a good experience but I wouldnt recommend.
Great place to eat. Always been a fan of Corelife in general. My go to bowls are the Mediterranean green bowl and the Tuna Poke bowl. If you grab the tuna, I highly recommend double protein to get the best ratio of tuna and greens per bite. Just my two cents. Also, heres a top, use the app for a purchase if you havent created an account. Itll save you $5. At least it did for me.
The food was ok. The service was terrible. For a restaurant that prides itself on its transparency with ingredients in their entree bowls and dressings, it amazes me that not one single staff member could tell me what was in the beverages they make and heavily push. That leads me to believe that this emphasis on ingredients is a gimmick rather than a core belief.
I really like this place and havent had any issues since I started coming here after the opened. Im always ordering before I leave work so I can pick it up as I pass by.They did mess up my order and Im assuming someone elses tonight as I got someone elses salad and I didnt realize till I got home 10 minutes later. I went back, kind of annoyed, but figured lets see what happens. Not a big deal to be honest. I dont know if the guy who helped me was the manager or owner, (I didnt get his name or pay attention to his tag) but he realized what happened, took fault, made my order and gave me coupons for next time which is cool.
The food was good but the service was terrible. Got a salad and the person making it acted like I wasnt there. This seemed to be happening to the majority of the people in line. The entire staff seemed like they didnt want to be there. Ive been to a CoreLife in Syracuse and the experience was so much better. Unfortunately I dont think I will be going back to this one.
Order was wrong. We did not get our extra protein that we paid for and my salad was a soup with a side of dressing. Called to let them know. They could not deliver correct order (could not go back to pick up correct food, was at work). Sending voucher in the mail for wrong order. Gentleman on the phone was more irritated with me than apologetic.
Reminds me of a chipotle, qdoba or more. However SALAD. Yes They have other things than salad, but really the draw is the vegetable options. Pricey if u want to add things in. They play the lemonades as healthy, but more sugar than healthy. Above average , but only because I like the veggie options

2022-06-28I loved our lunch here! The food was beautiful and delicious, and I felt so nourished! I love that much of their fresh pickled veggies are made in-store. I had the Korean BBQ bowl and my daughter had ginger and tofu in a bowl (dont remember the menu name). Friendly staff, too. I will definitely choose again!

2022-05-18Went there because I had heard it was great. It was horrible customer service. They all ignored us when we were standing in front of them and said, “Hi we are new here. Can we get some help?” The simple $8 salad I ordered and told them what I was ordering turned out to be over $25 dollars! They didn’t tell us s that some vegetables were extra. It was a skimpy pathetic mess and they didn’t apologize and they never helped us out as we were ordering.

2022-04-15I have not went to CoreLife eatery in Clarence ny, I find myself looking at the menu today before I was deciding to go ,I have a 50% off coupon for wraps in my hand. I decided to click on the reviews just to see what it’s all about and I have found so many negative reviews that I have decided that I’m not going to go so the 50% off coupon doesn’t do me any good .It’s unfortunate if the owner or manager reads this that this is the way this possible customer feels about your business. I’ll probably never find out if you’re actually a good establishment because ifyou can’t get me in there at 50% off you’re not gonna get me there any other way. Good luck.

2022-03-13First time visit and I wasnt disappointed, its perfect place when each one of you want a different cuisine as it has Asian, Mediterranean, American and Mexican. The food is really tasty and the atmospheres remind me of Panera bread

2020-12-12This was my second visit to CoreLife & Im totally regretting not using the mailed coupon when they first opened. Last time I was here, I tried 3 different tacos.Today I ordered the tuna poke & napa cabbage greens & grains bowl and steak, bacon, bleu salad. The tuna was beautifully pink and fresh, the greens & cabbage were crisp. The dressing is citrus-based and light - a perfect compliment to the rest of the dish. The steak bowl was equally delicious, but for obviously different reasons. The greens were completely coated in the Greek Yogurt Bleu Cheese dressing, the walnuts were crisp, there were just enough crumbled bleu cheese bits, and the steak was tender. I had the salad as is with dried cranberries on top, but will likely omit them next time.I love that the ingredients are fresh and crisp. Coming here is definitely a splurge, but only for my wallet - not against my health!

2017-07-29Great fresh ingredients and the food tastes amazing. It has been very busy since they first opened, but the wait time is not long. Staff is patient and helpful with customers learning the menu. There are a variety of lemonades to drink that have unique and unsuaul flavors. Theyre tasty and definitely worth a try. There are a variety of ice teas as well, and cold brew coffee.

2018-06-20I couldnt decide so I went with both, Ahi Tuna Plate and the Mediterranean Chicken salad. This place is seriously life. The food is so fresh and delicious. Very generous amount. If you want healthy clean and gluten free, this is your spot. I plan on being a regular.

2018-10-09After eating here 3 times , I feel like correcting my rating from 3 to 4 stars.Clean food with no fuss.I still will call this a upscale chipotle but on a healthier side. This place represents the simplicity of making food with same ingredients that other joints make but whats unique that made me go back was the mixing the salad bowl done by the folks to make sure the sauces blend well made the taste perfect each time. Will be back soon :)Keep is neat and warm.

2022-01-23Horrible service. My wife and Children went there for lunch and were treated like second class citizens in communist China.A young girl behind the counter asked that my wife and children stand outside in the snow because they walked in without a mask.My wife mentioned she’d put one on however the young girl and manager asked they exit the building. I had just pulled off trusting my wife and Children would have their lunch however they we kicked out.I came back, had a conversation with the manager who says we are to follow what Erie county has to say regarding mask mandates. We do not allow the Government to tell us how to live our lives so we usually don’t wear one so my wife did not have one on her person however as a courtesy to others we try to be respectful regarding the matter. My family and I will not be visiting Core life now or ever we will Choose to Spend our money and do business with Friendly vendors and restaurants when the mandate is over as well.

2019-07-30This place is great! Everything is customizable and healthy. They post their allergen information clearly, and theyre transparent about all their ingredients. I tried the Mediterranean bowl with the recommended dressing and it was fantastic. Will definitely return when Im in the area.
