The rink is only a few years old, and it really shows. Not only is the entire facility very well put together and very clean, the staff is also quite kind and accommodating compared to most ranks that Ive visited. They held a skating with Santa event for Christmas and it turned out to be a hit with both parents and kids. Id have to say that Id recommend this ring to anybody to bring their kids, or even for adults to come skate at.
My granddaughter is going for beginners hockey skating lessons and it was good but I think they need more adults to help with the kids a lot of the kids had no idea what they were doing and it was their first time ever being on skates two coaches for like 13 kids I dont think its enough
We brought our little ones and had a blast, rented the $5 skate helpers as well. We had 3 kids who had never skated before and the oldest is 6, so my husband and I didnt intend to skate ourselves as theres no way I could balance on skates while helping our 2.5 year old.Around an hour after we got there, and a few breaks for the bathroom and water, we were informed that no one could go on the ice without skates. How do you expect parents to teach little ones to skate? The rule ends up making the ice more dangerous because not all parents can skate while keeping a little one steady. If its someone just whizzing around in boots or sneakers goofing off, sure, make a rule against that... But I think there should be some flexibility for parents. We wiped down our soles before entering the ice and left when we were no longer welcome to assist our toddler and preschooler going under 1mph.
The facilities are nice and the staff is wonderful. Weve did family skating lessions, which transitioned to a hockey playing kid. Everyone there makes you feel comfortable and allows you to learn at your own pace. There is no pressure or judgement; and that helps a lot.Our kids used to be afraid of ice skating and now they love it!
Always a good time. Prices are in line with other ice rink in the area. Has more food selection then most but prices were near NHL process for the food so that is a knock against. The bumper ice cars are a riot! My boys very much enjoyed that but wanted more time! Nothing has changed since I did the review thankfully!
One of the nicest rinks in WNYAlways extremely clean and the staff extremely friendly. Large foyer on the lower level that has a nice snack bar.Upper level has a nice indoor area if you are just waiting for practice. There is an elevator for individual that need itThe seating is very nice, protip... if you want to see the whole ice you’re going to want to stand on the “ bird nests” on each lower corner of the stands or just stand on ice level. The way the stands hang over the ice sometimes you can’t see the small amount of action on the closest side to you. Not a big deal but I mention it for the Dads or hockey moms who want to see the entire game. For the players the locker rooms are amazing. Huge and tons of room.Nice pro shop if you break somethingThere is a bar/restaurant here as well.Basically, this rink has it all and I would say is one of the Top 2 rinks in WNY.
Probably one if the nicest rinks Ive seen, and weve played on both coasts and everywhere in between. Glass viewing areas, spacious and clean locker rooms, and a convenient snack bar. The rink bar - The Penalty Box - has a great menu and excellent staff. Overall top-notch experience.
Wonderful place. We had my nephews birthday party there and did the ice rink bumper cars. Lots of fun and everyone was super nice. Id also like to note that my nephew is 7 yrs old and uses a wheelchair. Very easy access and thoughtful/helpful staff made the party a great success! Ty
Nice rink. The seats are a little strange + no backs - but not uncomfortable. It was fairly warm and there is an area to watch the game that its closed in. Its hard to see up by the boards if you sit inside, but other than that it was nice. Concession stand is a little pricey.
Awesome venue! Very impressive layout. The main rink has better views as the smaller rink is partially obstructed by the deck which was frustrating at times. Loved the concessions stand - lots of options. Only missing a Tim Hortons! Was frustrated as a Dad when I was unable to find a changing table in the mens room to change my daughters diaper, even in the family restroom!
The main knock on this place are the poor sight lines in all arenas. Seems like no matter where you are in the stands, you can’t see the whole ice surface clearly. The place is in the middle of nowhere and takes forever to get there especially when your kid is playing in a tournament based in “Buffalo”.The main plus is the sled hockey friendly design of the arena and benches.Other positives are easy ample parking, bar upstairs, and very large locker rooms.
Went there for a quick minute to meet with the GM after an ice rink conference. Great arena with an awesome layout. The rink had a restaurant, a pro shop, skate rentals, and even ice bumper cars. If youre looking for a local place to play or just visit, definitely check out CornerStone Arena.
Nice arena for a town the size of Lockport. 2 pads and the feature rink has a scoreboard at center ice like NHL rinks. Locker rooms are much bigger than other rinks. The ice is kept in nice shape as well. Snack bar and pro shop available on the 1st floor and a bar is located on the 2nd floor. Ample parking.

2021-11-30This arena is very nice. The rinks are well kept & the whole place is clean. The seating in the spectators area is perfect level to see the action and all glass so your able to see everything clearly. The also have a seating area in the lobby with tables and chairs so you can enjoy a meal or drink while watching the game. Downstairs is a snack stand and mini arcade. Id highly recommend this place to anyone!

2022-05-09Never been here before so dont know much about it. Did find out there is a restaurant in the building, I will have to check that out definitely. Its a pretty big structure with two rinks that I could tell. Will have to find out more about the building but a neat and very clean place.

2022-01-10Great facility.....this may be the best rink for watching hockey that I have been to.Plenty of indoor and ice side seating options for either of the two rinks. The concession/snack bar has the most variety Ive ever seen at a rink. I always look forward to a trip to Cornerstone!

2019-02-20This place is pretty cool. Took my daughter there for a birthday party and was impressed. Two full sized rinks and a nice concession area and pro shop. Workers were very helpful.
