Brought my truck to Chuck after 3 other shops couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. He was able to get my issues sorted and get me back on the road. Excellent service was able to clean up my tune while I test drove the truck. Awesome service will be back highly recommended.
I’ve delt with chuck many times always a pleasure he is always busy and he is owner operated. Which means he only has two hands and there is but so much time in a day running your own business top to bottom isn’t for the faint of heart I’ve been on both ends of it everyone needs to know this you don’t have to modify your car it’s a choice so be patient and your results are going to be what you need.good work all the time.
Ive spent many days here at Corvettes of Westchester, Ive met and spoken with many of the mechanics here. Ive spoken many a times with Danny and John and the owner Chuck COW. Danny and John both very experienced mechanics do flawless work. On any given Saturday you can see many happy customers in the parking lot showing off anything from an LS swapped RX-7 to a brand new C7 with a fresh supercharger installed. Now thats not just where it stops. Ive been able first hand to see the difference between a supercharger install, to the addition of a COW booster, and then on to a Real Tune. Chuck spends as much time as possible as it takes to have a customer leave with a tune they feel comfortable with as well as something that leaves everyone stepping out of the driver seat with a smile on their face. From the young guys, to the older gents, everyone leaves smiling with new friends, and talk of meeting at Cars and Coffee on the upcoming Sunday of the week. But thats not where it stops. Chuck can be found arms deep inside of an Allison transmission getting it ready for its turbo diesel truck to as he and his customer states Hauls a$$. Frankly Chuck, as well as his mechanics reputation for there work has only been described as detailed, perfected and almost OCD. On another note this business isnt as big as most people on here think. Chucks online face has been a little defaced due to the overload of work. Chucks work is not at fault but a lot of people take time. Unfortunately most people assume tuning as well as perfecting a car for a customer isnt as simple as adding to a cart and checking out. Every tune is done individually and by trialing and perfecting. Unfortunately there are many people on the internet who believe that tunes and cow boosters are just as easy to get as going through the drive through. If it were, I believe chuck would be a much richer man but unfortunately that is not the case.However, if youre looking for one of the best tuners Ive ever met and a mechanic whos cars haul a$$. Then look no further.
Two thumbs way down for customer service. Chuck acted as if he was doing me a favor by accepting my money to work on my car??! Just call and listen to their answering machine and you will see what I mean. I wish I had taken the negative reviews more seriously. Do not make my mistake and avoid at all costs.
I had Chuck and the guys at corvettes of Westchester work on my 2014 Camaro all I can say is WOW, the smile has not left my face. What great guys! His shop is top notch and Chuck really knows his stuff. My car is amazing and fun to drive.
This is the third Corvette Ive had tuned at COW, and I couldnt be more pleased. Its like they took 500 lbs off the car. Its faster and ultraresponsive. Chuck is a wizard at tuning these cars. His understanding of the computer controls of the engine and transmissions is encyclopedic. His latest version of the tuning is nothing less than amazing. You wont believe its the same car. This is no simple dynotune, this is a reprogramming of the engine and transmission. It takes a few hours to get the work done because hes compulsive about doing it right, but its worth the wait. Its also worth the money he charges. He doesnt try to sell you every piece of performance equipment made; he will suggest various options to suit your ultimate performance goal.
Brought my car to him and he let it sit for over a month. Ended up bringing it to a shop in long island. Dude never returned calls, emails. Just had to stop by and get my car back, I needed a tune he said he could get it done in a week. A month later the car was never touched. Dont bother. Take your cash and cars elsewhere.
I dont know how this guy has any good reviews or even still in buisness for that matter. My buddy brought his caprice there 3.6 years ago and he still hasnt finish it. He doesnt answer calls. My buddy is currently pursuing a lawsuit with him over the car that he didnt want to. He literally just wanted this guy whos name is CHUCK MOSELLO (that he gave 15k up front) to finish his car. He doesnt answer calls, emails or text. He is a one man shop. Read all the reviews CAREFULLY!!!!! on this guy before even considering him for any mechanical work. Maybe he does work for people he knows and they leave good reviews. But if you want to know the truth read the negative reviews, those are the true reviews about corvettes of westchester.
I recently purchased a C6 convertible Corvette which was fully built. Being that this was my first corvette and the fact it was running lean I began to search for a reputable corvette shop. I reached out to Vette doctors in Amityville, NY via the phone. I explained and concerns and problems to Dennis and was told that he couldn’t get me in and instructed me to call back in a week’s time. One week had elapsed and I decided to go to the Vette Doctor in person. I had the opptunity to speak to Dennis in person; he was kind but insisted that he couldn’t fit me in. We went back and forth a few times, which ended up with me being placed on the calendar 2 weeks away. Being that this just didn’t feel right I began an expanded search for Corvette tuning. I came upon CORVETTE OF WESTCHESTER. I reviewed the several reviews some of which were negative in nature. Being desperate and going against my better judgement I reached out and left a message for someone to call me back. About an hour later I received a call from Chuck, I explained my current situation, and was then asked a few questions and then asked to come in for a retune.I arrived at the shop and was greeted by Andy who brought my C6 in and prep it for the tune. Andy proceeded to do a walk around and made me aware of some needed repairs…In addition I previously made Chuck aware of an issue with my hood. Both Chuck and Andy tackled the problem, they bounced ideas off each other with the stigma of I am the Boss do what I say. They just flowed to get a satisfactory result. After completing the hood Chuck did an INTENSE walk around pointing out some very needed repairs; IE burnt harness that were placed to close to the headers, cut and refabricated wires, leaking Meth bottle and a slew of other problems. I WILL SAY THIS THE PROBLEMS THAT WERE POINTED OUT WAS DONE BECAUSE IT POSED A SERIOUS RISK TO DAMAGE OF MY CAR OR POSED A THREAT TO THE OCCUPANTS. IT CLEARLY WASN’T ABOUT MONEY. EVERY PROBLEM FOUND WAS EXPLAINED IN DETAIL. EVERY SHORT CUT THAT WAS TAKEN BY THE PREVEOUS MECHANIC WAS POINTED OUT AND AGAIN EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHY IT NEEDS REPAIR. We are 5 hours into the repairs, the repairs completed now the tune starts. We took several runs with several adjustments and NOW the car is running A LOT better. NOW HERE IS THE KICKER EVERY PROBLEM LISTED ABOVE HAD SOME SORT OF EFFECT ON THE TUNE. IT JUST AMAZED ME THAT CHUCK SAT IN THE CAR REMEMBER THE ISSUES AND TUNED THE CAR ACCORDINGLY. YOU SAW THE INTENSE THOUGHT PROCESS TO FINE TUNE THE TUNING. HANDS DOWN HE KNOWNS THE CORVETTE AND HE GAINED A NEW CUSTOMER.***I AM GLAD THAT I MADE THE CALL*** Please note: the photos posted was taken at 9:45 PM yes, PM THAT IS TOTAL DECATION.Mike W07 C6Just an update to my recent update. Yes, I will say Chuck knows corvettes but his customer service is Awful, I repeat Awful. I actually sat a month debating whether I should amend my review but after review my call log I see that I have two months worth of calls that went un answered. Its funny because when my C6 was being repaired and he needed payment he picked up the phone, when he (Chuck) found an item that needed repaired he called and he picked my return call. So I just find it funny that to this day he doesnt return my call. And lastly here is the kicker, since I purchased my car out of state, and some of the repairs should have been caught by the dealership. Chuck and I made contact with the dealership in an attempt to cover some of the repair cost. This attempt went undone because Chuck to the day failed to provide me with the Alldata breakdown as well as the receipt. So fellow Vette owners please be aware of what you are walking into. Lastly, I have copies of the emails, call logs and photos of the reciept to substantiate the above facts...
I dont know why a few people on here gave a couple bad reviews, but Chuck did such an excellent job and was so kind that if I was a betting man, Id bet that the couple bad reviews on here were by the same disgruntled person posting a few times under assumed alias.Bottom line, Chucks great and you wont regret taking your car to him.
Chuck is a scam artist , dont do anything with him , this place is a joke they had my corvette for 11 months and have done no work on it, they dont answer the phone , we had to get the police involved . He will be put out of business soon and has multiple complaints against him , please please be warned , chuck and his rude employees who just give you the run around on the phone. The owner chuck only cares about making money, he gives bad name to Americans

There is no one i would trust more with any of my vehicles! Of course after market work takes time which is clearly a very big issue for many impatient, rude individuals. Always loved chuck and all of his work!!
THE WORST PLACE BY FAR!!! Ask them about the time they used a floor jack to lift a car by placing it under the oil pan. Then told me I needed a new motor because it was knocking. IT WAS KNOCKING BECAUSE THESE CLOWNS PUSHED THE OIL PAN UP UNTIL THE CRANK WAS HITTING IT!!! Chuck is a broke, dirty, classless, pathological liar with zero business sense whatsoever. DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOUR CAR!!!!
Avoid Chuck and this business, you will probably end up getting ripped off with remote tunes if you do it. He will literally stop responding to phone calls and emails. Also support will be lost when he goes out of business soon.

Brought my escalade to chuck after I was told by the dealer they couldnt help me, he was extremely helpful and courteous, did a excellent job taking the slugishness out of my truck and fixing my front diff.
Very Knowledgeable, hands down best tuner, Puts a lot of time and effort in all work. Great quality job I would recommend to anyone.

2018-01-19I had Chuck do some welding on my Toyota FJ. Just chatting with him he is one of the most technically and conceptually skilled mechanics I have ever met- having studied computer science in college and using computer language to better tune the in vehicle computers. His work was precise and I was really pleased with the whole experience. Ill definitely be back.

2020-12-04Chuck just recently worked on my 2002 C5 Z06. It was grinding 4th and 6th gears, he replaced gears and synchros. He installed American Racing headers, a Vararam intake and tuned the car. On top of this he took care of so many other things that it needed; relocating brake lines, new serpentine belt, thermostat, etc. He even changed the battery. He did so many things he never charged me for. The car runs amazing. It is lighting quick and sounds fantastic with the headers and titanium mufflers. I am extremely pleased with his work. He will take you through everything he has done, explain why he did it and basically give u an education. He is very knowledgeable and is meticulous with his attention to detail. Chuck knows what he is doing. I am happy I chose him to work on my car.

2016-03-05I brought my car into Corvettes of Westchester because I was recommended by a few people who said he was the best. After talking to Chuck over the phone for a while I decided to take my Corvette C6 in for Headers, Clutch, and a tune. I had GREAT COMMUNICATION WITH THEM OVER THE PHONE. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. When I went to pickup the car I realized the great job that was done. The car is vastly improved. Chuck and Danny Know Exactly what they are doing and have a passion for what they do. That really came through after test driving my car. Chuck is a computer wizard. He was programing the tune while I was driving. I have never seen a car guys that knows exactly what they are doing like Chuck and Danny. I had a GREAT EXPERIENCE HERE. I would recommend this shop to anybody who wants to improve there cars performance or to anybody in general who needs any work done on there car. *Just a great overall shop with cool extremely knowledgeable people * Thanks Chuck and Danny for all the great work.-Angelo

2019-01-27If you want a guy who only knows the right way to do a job then Chuck is your guy. He treats every thing that he does as if its his own. I have been dealing with him for over 2 years. His quality and knowledge is by far above and beyond any other shop you could deal with. His tunes are top notch and you wont be disappointed.

2018-08-19Drove my C6 700 miles one way for an appointment w/Chuck. Arrived at his shop at noon on a Monday. He finished all his work (throttle boost, installation of 160 degree thermostat, and preliminary tune) by 4:30 PM. Could not take car out for drive as rain fell all day. Went back to Chuck’s at noon on Tues. I then drove the car. Chuck was in the passenger seat with his laptop hooked up to the car’s computer. I drove the car for about 45 min in a variety of manners. All the while Chuck’s laptop was showing numerous bar graphs which he continually adjusted to obtain peak performance and output throughout all power bands. After 45 min Chuck said the tune was done. I asked him how long it typically takes for other cars and he said it could take as little as 30 min or as long as 4 hrs depending on the car and the driver.The throttle boost was extremely noticeable. I only needed to tap my toe on the gas pedal and the throttle engaged. Took a little time (not that much) to get used to the much improved throttle response. An approx. 35 HP increase and redline increase to 7200 was realized.Chuck is an extremely personable guy with only one fault. His phone never stops ringing. He gets a call every 20 min from people all over the U.S. asking for his advice, recommendation, and opinion. Chuck spends whatever amount of time is necessary for each call (sometimes 5 min and sometimes 30 min). It is absolutely mind-blowing to me how many people call him throughout the day AND that Chuck doesn’t charge anyone a dime for his time and advice. The free knowledge he provides is amazing. He could easily charge anywhere from $50 to $200 for each call (and he wouldn’t have to pick up a wrench the rest of his life) but he simply does not. The phone calls cease around 7 PM and then Chuck can devote his undivided attention to the cars leaving his shop at midnight or later.I left Chuck’s place around 2 PM Tues for my drive back to Ohio. Chuck phoned me about 4 hrs into my drive back to check on how the car was doing. When’s the last time you left a car repair/tune shop and had the owner check w/you a few hours later to see how the car was doing.Chuck is the Man!

2014-03-29I brought my car to Corvettes of Westchester for some suspension work. I was impressed with their operation. In a world dominated with dealers and chain repair shops, Corvettes of Westchester really shines as one of the last, if not, the last specialty shops. The place is owned and operated by a guy named Chuck. I used to be a mechanic I was going to engineering school. After graduation, I worked for GM as a supervisor. I am picky about the work done on my cars. I was very impressed with Chucks knowledge, experience and attention to detail. I wanted the work done quickly but he insisted that I should wait until he had the time to get to it(he was a few days backed up). It was well worth it! Im glad I found this place.

2018-04-17Edit: I previously have worked with Chuck on multiple occasions without issue and it was a seamless, professional experience. I then tuned a Mustang for him and was never paid for my work. Chuck is extremely experienced and knowledgeable, but I will never work with him again. Im not sure what changed or happened but he refuses to take my calls.

2019-05-30I had a ECM failure in my C6. After researching the issue and the fix, the name that kept coming up on all of the forums was Chuck Mosello of Corvettes of West Chester. I contacted Chuck and detailed my issue and he gave me a great, make sense explanation of what my issue was and how to fix it. He sent me the new ECM with detailed explanation on how to install...Im no mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, but Chuck said if I can change my own oil, I can do this...and he was right! I had the car running again in a matter of an hour or so. The performance upgrade is noticeable and Chuck was great to work with. I highly recommend Chuck and Corvettes of West Chester.
