Costco Wholesale in other cities:
I went to Costco with my brother and daughter, and I decided to become a member, so I signed in.I was so happy, I got a chance to see what Costco had to offer, and I was very impressed with the items I bought, and the bargains I find as I walked around the store.I really think, that if you become a member, you wont be disappointed.
It’s nice to have a Costco accessible by subway, and a crosstown bus picks up/drops off practically in front but the nearby subways don’t have elevators so hauling a heavy cart has its challenges. The store setup is a bit chaotic b/c Costco is one of several mega-stores in the shopping complex. This model doesn’t work so great in Manhattan b/c the stores are stacked on top of each other - it gets a little bonkers. Happy that the selection of goods seems to be about what you’d find in Queens. Sample tables get mobbed. Go before noon on a weekday for peak in-store navigation.
The way they checked for your Costco membership when you enter is terrible, my wife showed her phone membership since the woman did not see it because she was talking across to a male employee, she started screaming to my wife that she did not see her card, finally I guess she got tired and stopped, it is not the 1st time that we felt like they are doing us a favor to be a member, will not go there again.
As always had a great experience at Costco. Dominique at the register was very kind as well as the guy who was putting our groceries in the conveyer bell today 1/21/2021 @4:24pm. Also the guy at the Food Court helped me with a lil issue I had at the water vending machine. Thank you Costco and members.
I was at the Costco of Harlem today when one of the cashiers threatened me. I asked for the manager and no one never came. Instead I was given an email to reach out to someone. When I called the store, it too several times before reaching someone. They gave me Rick who did not pay attention to when I initially gave the details. How I know? Because I had already explained what transpired when he came to the phone. His first reply was explain to me what happened. I repeated myself after pointing out the fact that he wasnt paying attention. He then got defensive and asked me what I said to cause the cashier to threaten me.😮 Absolutely not acceptable. @costco #costcoofharlem #costco #costcofinds #costcofindsfromfollowers
This was worse Costco I’ve ever been to. There were no carts available. When I asked the greeter she said that I would need to go back to the parking lot to find one, but only one elevator was functional. They over charge from parking too. Also, the layout of the Costco made no sense. It was just chaotic.
Store has changed since pandemic. No longer cheap. Double the prices and the service has gotten bad. Returning an item the costco employee was pure ghetto on me, mask under her nose, hostile to the white customers. Management: read the negative reviews about the returns employees below. These people/haters should not be working with customers! Its a poor reflection of this chains lack of Management if this does not get corrected. Dont forget, Corporate reads these experiences too!
Horrible customer service. People here are MEAN, especially the woman at the customer service desk. Its a shame because I love Costco products, but people at the 117th street store know nothing about customer service or they really dont care. Terrible treatment. Horrible experience.
I am here for 2 weeks doing a roadshow for Pacsafe. The location is nice and big. Love the fact that there are many delicious samples on the floor. The staff is also very helpful. The checkout lines can be a little long especially in the evening, but the lines do move rather quickly.
Not happy with them, the purpose the membership is to be able to buy in bulk but now I go in there and I cant buy in bulk. I want to store up for the winter so I dont have to come out in the cold and now Im going to have to do all these extra trips so that I can be ready for winter. I just dont like it.
This Costco is busy busy busy but they are also fast. Everything in New York is busy so it lives up to the name. Generally has all the same things other Costco’s have within the same region. East coast has different stuff than west coast- some of my favorite are the corn muffins I can never find in CA. Line can sometimes windup through then entire store but like I said the cashiers are fast and efficient. Parking is for pay if you’re driving or the bus will drop you off a block or so away.
Whoever decided to change the single line check-out to a free for all should consider a different kind of job. There were no employees around to guide people or to indicate where the different lines began. The single manager I did see thought it was wise to hold up the line that I was unlucky to pick. Even the cashiers look frustrated. My checkout took way longer than expected. I had reduced my visits because of the checkout already. This has me re-evaluating my membership all together. What a mess!
There are some great employees but the ones in charge of membership and returns are not nice. Also if I give my opinion to the employee that goes around trying to make people upgrade memberships, she lashes out and walks away trying to start an argument. Honestly go there if you have no choice other wise try to go to another Costco it will save you a headache.
In general, I really appreciate Costco -- but there are sometimes that really leave you scratching your head. I was on a line for Customer Service where one cashier was working and a manager and another employee were taking their sweet time moving items between three different shipping carts completely oblivious of the line of eight people waiting for assistance. Their first responsibility is to the customers waiting in line. It was infuriating watching them completely ignore us to do a task which could have been done later when there was no line.
This is the worst Costco I have EVER been to. We all know that in the past year, Costco has been extremely busy due to the pandemic. However, Ive never run into an unpleasant worker there. The people at this Costco do not care about anything. I am very patient as I know retail can be difficult, but so many lines were crossed today. The cashier was extremely rude to an international customer in front of me, and then argumentative when I pointed out that she was being unfair. She ONLY IDd myself and the other customer, I watched ten people go through her line and she did not ID anyone else. The international person only had an international ID, which she refused to accept. She demanded to see their passport. Who carries their passport around with them???Literally delusional. Also, I dont know why the biggest big box retailer in the USA cares if people are sharing memberships. You have cleared an extra billion dollars this year. Please stop holding up the lines for nonsense. I would rather shop at BJs which is farther from my apartment, solely because I know they will be staffed appropriately and I wont have to pull out ID cards, credit cards, my birth certificate etc just to give your store a $300 purchase. This is an extremely stressful and unorganized store. No one is guided to use the kiosks in the food court area, so the line is full of people cutting each other and the workers handing off the wrong food. It was the middle of the afternoon on SATURDAY and they only had two people working behind the counter!!! This is terrible management. I feel so sorry for the workers who try so hard but that pace is impossible to maintain. The checkout lines are ridiculous, theres not enough cashiers working. Everyone that IS working is miserable, and there is NO ONE managing. You dont have ANYONE guiding customers along the line to move things faster. There is no easy entry and exit point. Also, the taxi line outside of the store wraps around the entire parking garage, so be prepared to wait over an hour.PS. I will say that one of the workers I asked regarding the coffee grinder was very kind in pointing it out to me. I wish I saw her name tag, she had braids and she was very pretty. Shout out to her for being so nice despite her chaotic workplace.
This is a good Costco that shares its location with other stores. Covered parking defers any issues in wet weather. Its a usual Costco with aisles of items. What I especially like is the check out. Its one line with workers directing you to the next available cashier. The line seems long but moves quickly. This way any one waiting on line with a problem customer is not held up.
Upon entering, your greeted with an annoyed man child who asks wheres your Costco card. Dont leave the fraternity card, or youll stand on line for 45 min to get a temporary card. Merchandise seems over priced for a wholesale distributor. Store is overcrowded with people shopping like its the end of the world. This Costco is in Easr 116st between 1st and the Eastriver Drive.
Ive been to other Costco stores and like the layout of this one the best, its more customer friendly store versus just a giant warehouse. Costco really does have great deals on any bulk quantity household item, I especially like the organic produce selection here. I bought my Fitbit and Nutrabullet from here and the price was definitely cheaper here. If you come make sure to try all of the samples, this is a great way to test out a product before committing to a giant bag of something you might not like. The food court is extremely affordable and surprisingly good food.
The wholesale is good, it has everything you need at one place. I really like the place. My only problem is the taxi operators outside, those people who work for Costco, the new people there are thieves. They overcharge the fare. They need to be checked because theyre making the place unbearable to visit.
Store itself is wonderful, and very organized for entering, and paying or exiting. But way too many people during weekend, and some customer just wont followed the rules and cut into the paying line in front of some nice people. Although the paying line could be circling several pathways, but the turn around is reasonable. Most customer are very good. If not necessary avoid shopping on weekend.
Super long lines and prices arent really a deal unless you get their brand which is Kirkland on some items. its still just as good but prices arent that great in comparison.meats and seafood high and they run out of seafood quickly in or just dont restock it often which every time I go they are out
Costco Harlem simply ROCKS! Clean quiet organized....did I say SUPER CLEAN? Carts are always available and are clean. Fully functioning bathrooms, spacious aisles and friendly staff. Great selection of goods.I am a meatlover...yes I am....and the meat selection is awesome 👌. Thanks Costco.
After paying your yearly membership fee of $65 dollars, you are able to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, beef chicken, pork and any other grocery item at very low prices. They also offer other items at very good prices. The staff is always courteous and helpful. They make it their business to have you through the checkout very quickly. I enjoy shopping there very much. So will you!!
I have a Costco membership and I really don’t know why! Every time I see something that I like online or from the previous visit you come to get it and they’re out there always out of everything! I don’t know how this piece stays in business and they’re always out of everything I need. They have the worst product ordering of any other store that I’ve been to maybe that’s because of how they feel about the clientele thar people here in Spanish Harlem don’t matter!
Anytime I come here shopping is good but when checking out it’s the worst. The cashiers are so rude. It’s like they’re always having a bad day they’re always in a rush they never give a person a chance to put your stuff on the belt and make people feel uncomfortable by arguing with them about it. I’ve never been to a store where they argue all the time with their customers thinking they’re always correct Andrea is one of them who is always so rude. She has a nasty attitude. The customer service is super poor. I cant continue shopping here.. it’s convenient but a terrible experience.
With Delta variant a risk even to those of us who are vaccinated, Costco needs to tighten its mask policies before I return. We felt uncomfortable around so many unmasked customers (and some staff) plus others wearing masks I effectively as “chin straps.” I love Costco but my safety is more important. Up your mask game, Costco!
Had a great shopping experience at Costco today. I didnt get there when they first opened like I planned. I got there about 11:15 and IT WAS CROWDED! BUT the line to get inside moved quickly, and although I know there was a lot of people in the store, at no time did I feel like the aisles were too crowded. The shelves were well stocked with food and supplies. I was able to get everything I needed. The line to get to the cashiers was extremely long. Dont be discouraged by that because they have a really efficient system. You get in and out quickly without any problems. I have to give it to Costcos 117th St. location. They are definitely prepared for the masses, and have made sure you will have a pleasant shopping experience.
The staff at this store (116th Street in NYC) runs the gambit between great and exceptional. Early on during the pandemic I had purchased some whole bean coffee. I didn’t realize until I got outside that I didn’t grind it. A senior staff member, James, who had greeted me warmly when I first arrived informed me that the coffee grinder was not available due to COVID-19 concerns. However he didn’t just leave it there, he told me that I could use my blender as a grinder and I have been using it ever since. James took pride in the fact that he had been a Costco employee for 13 years( he may have had another anniversary since then). This is just one example of the types of employees that they attract. If I’m looking for something that I’m unable to find on my own, 9 out of 10 times, the employee will stop what they’re doing and escort me to the product that I’m looking for. Of course the food here is excellent and the prices are very reasonable, but the staff is what keeps me as a member. I’m a senior which makes their kindness and professionalism so important to me. I have had positive interactions with many other employees that I have encountered, especially since COVID has changed all of our lives upside down. From the young men and women who have kept the line moving with courtesy and respect to the customer service employees that handle the returns, I’m so grateful to you for putting your lives on the line so that the public can feed their families. Your kindness is everything! Thank you.
It was not si good experience because they had technical issues and they did not know how long it would be to open, but I believe the worst part is the personal shoppers they do not care about other peoples shopping, they leave tha cars in the middle of the isles and keep running, like they are on their living room, management doesnt see to care
Worst shopping experience ever. Workers have no idea where things are, no social distancing implemented, no cleaning of carts like other Costco. Ive shopped in many costco never have I seen such a disastrous one like this one. Will never ever go near it again. I DONT recommend it at all. If you want to catch covid or have a bad shopping experience then this is the place for you.
I go here as often as possible for shopping--its the best option. Theres plenty of great deals from food to clothing to personal care. The waiting lines go by fast. But this Costco isnt as large as the other ones in NYC, hence what they offer here is limited. I would also like to mention that they have some of the rudest staff at the cashier check and the return line, they have to work on that. Dont let them get to you.
There were no lines to go in thankfully and the line at checkout went fairly quickly. It was a good time of day to go and it wasnt super busy. They have moved some items around, that always gives me a chance to just go up and down each aisle to reacquaint myself with product location. Lol. I do miss the sample stations, hopefully after Covid we can get those back.
Thomas at the Optical Center is just the best- we go there every year for my sons ever changing eye prescription. He is a dad himself, and is so attentive and caring. My sons eye doctor has commented on the quality of the lenses in my sons glasses. He always answers all of my questions, and he is a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the glasses alone and the money we save is worth the yearly $60 fee. I recommend the Optical center, and Thomas!!!
As normalcy draws closer for everyone Costco at 117 Street tend to become more busy from about 2 pm to 5 pm. The good thing though is that lots more staff are on the floor and at the checkout. Line up outside range between 10 to 15 minutes. Its worth the wait if you are a bit late; Costco is always on sale. I need them to start carrying more ground provision including pumpkin.
Costco is one of the best place to buy whatever you need your family. Since the food, medication, furnitures, clothes, shoes, food for babies. The good thing is that when you buy in costco you save times and money because there you buy everything in a bigger size and last for longer time.
The food gets made fresh from what I can see all the workers in the back making the cakes and food. The whole place can get cold so bring a sweater for the inside. There are always good samples of products you can try before you buy so exploring new foods is great. Lines can get rather long and have a 15- 20 minute wait at peak hours. Parking always makes things great , to leave . Always remember bring your own bag or bags.
Way way crowded but will admit it was one hour prior to closing on a Saturday night. I still managed to get what I needed except for the chicken bake but it was understandably closing time. The new setup looks nice but not sure it helps with crowd control. Time will tell.
This is a warm thank you for all of Costcos employees on 117th. I am so very impressed with the level of staffs professionalism, their efficiency and management especially during this difficult time. You guys are truly on point. God bless each of you with His protection, and may He multiple every dollar youve earned. 👍👍👍👍
I absolutely adore Costco and all of its little snacks that they sell to try before you buy it I think its absolutely brilliant and you should continue to do so. I love the fact that its very roomy and wheelchair accessible for the wheelchair community and you should continue to do so and have your stuff walk around for people like me that cant reach certain things. the wheelchair Community likes to look around and take our time and really get a feel for what we want to get because the storage so big we just would like to have an easier way to get things maybe a button to press if we need help that way you guys can find those faster?
I was helping my friends shop for groceries etc, they have a little bit of physical limitations. I was surprised how large this place was, their prices were great, and choices endless and in spite of the long lines to check out, they were amazingly quick. There was taxi service available as soon as we walked out. Great place for shopping!!
Excellent prices for quality merchandise. It can be overwhelming, especially the check out line. Yet, the staff are friendly & helpful. Though the check out line might be long, the staff makes sure that thing move along efficiently. i purchased a box of fig bars which i buy daily, saving $20 bucks & a pair of Fila sneakers for under $20. It can be a fun adventure
Great place to shop good value for your money and beautiful and very helpful workers.Update:This was after yesterday I called the store and they told me they dont have that kind of shopping for senior citizens or disabled people that horrible now I find them horrible. Place to shop its not the best for senior citizens are disabled thank you so much Costco for messing up my week
Massive place, lots of fun if you have a lot of time on your hands and just want to marvel at the massive amounts of food and other goods. Free samples are delicious. Things are sold in massive quantities so be prepared to carry a lot out and spend more than you might have planned. Also they sell hot dogs and a fountain drink for 1.50. cant beat it
The prices are excellent as they always are at Costco. They have the usual collection of staples as well as a Halal and Kosher section. If there is one thing that could be improved it has to be the lighting. I visited at midday and the entire store was conspicuously dark. Other than that, its a great place to stock up!
I was able to get most of my items, but the important essentials are always out of stock and certain items the store doesnt get anymore like clorox wipes, clorox clean up, gain fabric softener, gain dryer sheets. Just to name a few things. But thank God for the Costco here in NYC, so I dont have to go to far to shop.
I liked this Costco much better than my old Costco in Bk. Very clean, checkout line was unbelievably fast with the workers keeping every-thing/one organized. Visited this store to exchange something. Cust service gave refund with absolutely no problem, no questions, and the best part NO LINE there either! The ONLY thing I did not like was the parking garage. Very confusing the first time. Not enough signage(for me) in order to figure out how it works. The store itself would get 5 stars easily from me.
PROS: Very pleasant, informative, and helpful staff!!! Great variety of goods. Many taste-testing stations, with a wide variety of products, on weekends. Though there are not many taste-testing stations during the week, it is a much calmer atmosphere. Less crowded... no long check out lines on weekdays. Opened until 9 PM weekdays.CONS: Very crowded on weekends. Extremely busy atmosphere on weekends. Long check-out lines on weekends... though the lines move pretty quickly. Closes at 6 PM on weekends.
One of the best (if not the best) store in the area, with basically everything you could ever want from a store. The staff is extremely nice, theres free samples(sometimes), a food court, pharmacy, photo development place, and tons more. Everything is priced so good youll be happy you bought the membership card in the first place. Theres also restrooms and a recycling area near the food court as well. I extremely recommend going here.
Its Costco. Not as big as the typical Costco but still has everything you would expect. The checkout lines are long but move quickly and the cashiers are really fast at check out. Its quite easy to access by bus and there is a car service for bringing home your items. The car service prices are fair and listed on a colour coded map.
Very Good, very clean and very convenient place to shop but if I shop and spend my money in this good place on top that why should I PAY FOR PARKING. I do understand if parking is free everyone from all over will park for free but the management could control this easily if they want to.Many times we need few items ( then you wind up to buy more anyway) but hate to go because of PARKING CHARGES.Suggestions:If you shop less then $50 you get an hour free parking and above $50 you get two hours. Anything more then two hours will be ripp of by consumer and misuse of courtesy. Thanks and management please look in to it.
I hate to give bad reviews so Ill give this location 4 start but they need to work on making sure their staff provide better service because no matter what membership we have, we are still spending money there and we deserve respect. Didnt feel respected by your cashier Shema because of the nature of my membership! Im still a customer spending money here!
Some good, some bad, some terrible. Good selection and price over a grocery or supermarket locally and many benefits I am sure most people know about. Location is great, even though it’s probably the smallest Costco because real estate is so expensive in Manhatten.lines can be crazy on the weekends and people can get nasty, so go during the weekdays if you can. Some of the workers are very nice but I have a worker that follows me around and watches me. It took several complaints to management for her to stop and I still have to keep an eye out for her as she follows me. I know this as I see her three or four times whenever I go there— obviously a little too much of a coincidence. They insisted about a year ago I get on a special list because I have medical equipment on my wheelchair that I don’t want searched, after years of them not asking and respecting my privacy, and now they don’t even ask about my bag. I get asked my the workers a lot if my aid isn’t with me if I need assistance. The only accessible women’s toilet upstairs had a broken toilet for about a month and a broken lock for several months before they fixed it. They said they didn’t have the part for the toilet and the lock I complained about several times. Now they are storing the mop in the stall for the last month or so. The elevator was broken for about two weeks, which really sucked as the accessible toilet downstairs everyone and her brother uses and it’s often disgusting so I don’t go in it unless I have to absolutely have to.They are sometimes ok outside for the Access a ride vans and sometimes are pretty rude. I’ve had drivers complain about them but one never knows considering AAR drivers sometimes really suck.
Tomaz in eye/optical clinic seems to have gender bias. The manager needs to talk to Jasmine in eye center for what happened. Plus someone review the social distancing practices in eye clinic- there is no proper line/marker for people visiting the eye clinic. Basically, Tomaz needs anger management therapy plus your eye clinic needs to be organized in times of COVID-19PS. I don’t generally write reviews but I become super man when I get bad service ;)
Pretty much have everything you need in bulk. If there’s something you use frequent you should shop here. The long cashier lines go really fast.If you shop for specialty items I would pick a smaller store so the product, especially food doesn’t go to waste from buying too much.
Always excellent. Its a nice, Manhattan-sized location. I do my best to get my meat, toilet paper, towels, mushrooms and black, seedless grapes here - among other things.I arrive via bus and leave via the on-site car service. After all the years it has been open, its still disappointing that cell service is awful in certain spots of the store - with no wifi 😢
The prices and assortment are good BUT unfortunately this location has low standards on their management team. Last week me and my partner went to get a membership card and a nice young lady was helping us at the front desk, than this so called assistant manager (tall, short hair, dark skinned female) made it impossible for us to get it. She ended up having an argument with my partner and actually screaming back to him right at the front entrance, so unethical!.
They sometimes has stuff. Overpriced and not for this neighborhood. B j is much betterWent there today no chicken wings no unsalted butter just to name a few. Manager said its to crowded showed me the wings inventory and tomorrow they going to put it out. Like what ppl are here today . Costcos needs to do better
Ok before I start I’m guilty of liking their Italian sausage and the pizza.Dont judge me a bonus is the 50cent water machine The seafood is amazing. It’s beautiful looking and fresh tasting. The bakery is off the chain. But of course it’s sample haven. The lines can be pretty pretty long but they move fast. Oh their flavored wine is yummy. The membership prices are decent. The eyewear department is a hit as well. A supermarket on steroids.
Costco is a terrific merchandiser, selling an enticing mixture of high quality and cheap bulk products. Prices and values are tbe best. This location has a major management problem, though. The wait to checkout is too long. It was 20 minutes this evening, and this in a store that you pay a membership fee to in order to shop. Do not blame the employees. They hustle. The store is badly managed.
Costco has been hiring too many people that lack in consideration, morals amd good ethical behaviors I have witnessed workers in the food court at the front end and heard women employees talk about the customers badly bad talking about them and the way they look right in front of their face . Same with customer service for as much as I pay a year for my membership the quality of people they are hiring is extremely poor people lacking in high class mannerisms. very seldome a smiling face or warmth of customer care.
The workers here are okay.there are nice ones, mean ones, and people who dont understand how to do their job properly.once, i was about to get a sample and then you know what the heck happened? they literally grabbed the sample and threw it in the trash. HOW RUDE, costco did change their sample schedule DRASTICALLY because they barely have any more carts to test out the food so we can see if we want it or not.but i do love the costco space, its nice and big and they do have a lot of food selections to choose from, and very FRESH produce and their CHICKEN is SO GOOD.their FOOD COURT IS AMAZING TOO!
The Optical department is amazing. Tomasz, the manager is very knowledgable, courtois and helpful. The rest of the staff is great as well. The warehouse lacks some of the basic inventory which Im used to finding in other Stores. They can do a better job in keeping up with other Costcos.
One of the most unfair people in the management position l have ever meet in my life, they need to go back to class, and learn how to deal with there customer. If some was giving me a million dollar to shop there, l would not even consider taking it. one of my worst experience with a will know establishment. So inconsiderate.
Costcos always a madhouse. And I really wish theyll stop moving things around. One of the reason I like sticking with the one is because I know where everything is. But every so often theyll move it out of the aisle and put it someplace on display throughout the store that just makes no sense based on what your custom to! By the end of the day I appreciate having one so close to home.
The quality of the products that Costco sale are very good. Also Costco has organic and conventional food. The fruits and vegetables are very fresh. The prices are reasonable for the working class that is hardly surviving. You dont have a long time in the line to pay.
After the initial purchase of a card ($50, good for a year), youll find huge deals on bulk items, including food, beauty, clothes, and electronics. Samples are given on weekends, but avoid weekends and peak times if you can, as lines get long and traffic in the aisles is frustrating. Great deals here, if you have room to store them. Also, the pizza in the food court area is excellent. Its never good to shop on an empty stomach, so I get pizza every time I go!
Great place, amazing prices and great quality! If your family is not that big make sure you have a big freezer! The also offer a good selection of Italian products such as Pasta Garofalo, Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto (ham), kiwis and Giovanni Rana products at a very affordable price.
I dont know why but I love checking out Costco when I travel. This Costco is unique in that its in an urban setting. Thus location seemed a bit smaller than the suburban locations. Even as a visitor it was easy to figure out his to get there. As an aside, there are great views from the upper levels where other stores are. The food court had the usual items.
Costco is just a smart move and definitely worth dealing with the crowds. On top of the fact that they have EVERYTHING at great prices and quality, the fast food they serve is damned good as well. I spent 70 bucks last weekend and I got 2 weeks of food, where else can that happen in NYC? Thats right, absolutely nowhere else. Go to Costco...
Its nice location and convenient for a city person to shop, however this my second visit and the machine photos for a membership card was not working again! This makes it harder to shop at other locations. Also, the staff is not as helpful as in the Port Chester and Yonkers locations, and there are indicators as to what is Im the aisles.Thats gave four stars.
**Edit for 7/13/18- went to shop here today and the whole store literally smelled like shyt!!!! Like a straight farm! I couldnt even get my shopping done. Could only grab a couple things and I was gagging as I was hurrying to pay. Dont know if they have a sewage issue but this was horrendous.. Im upset I wasted the trip to East Harlem for nothing!!Love Costco, especially Kirkland brand products and their electronics selection.. But THIS location leaves much to be desired, unfortunately. Customer service and basic courtesy are nearly non-existent and most of the employees are quite ghetto and very unprofessional. And do not go on weekends as it is packed!
Customer service here needs to improve. I have never went to a Costco where they have to check every bag whether its Costco items or not. I came in with a Target bag and my items I purchased and the lady at the door was basically making everyone show every item they had. Im wondering if this is a new policy
A fast food restaurant whose quality and prices easily beat the usual burger/taco/Chinese places, a low-cost pharmacy, and a store that sells high-quality bulk goods with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and liberal return policy. Ive switched to purchasing all my paper and cleaning products here, although transporting it can be difficult as a non-car-owner.
I like Costco but when I go to get an item I really like they dont have it anymore. Like the dinner Frank by Kirkland, Im only able to get them in the summer. People do eat Franks in the winter. Also I couldnt find Motrin either, its frustrating to go with a list and not be able to get everything on the list.
Britany was a terrible sales associate at the front end, disrecpecful to her customers and lacks customer service skills, she’s was sarcastic and Refuse to ring us up. The supervisors here (Sydney) did not try to help the customers either he was terrible at supervising did not know how to Make the customer happy(if anything he made matters worst) should be demoted ASAP. Felt discriminated and violated as a person never again coming to this location. I have been a customer at Costco for 10 years and I never share any negative thoughts about the store. This location needs new management and better hiring staff. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY

2022-02-16For common folks like me this place is excellent, there you can find some steaks, lot of pork, chicken, also lot of products for vegan or vegetarian people, I really enjoy the place, but in the weekends be prepared for the line, is so full of people, but the cashiers are fast as ninjas. You can even get some cool toys.

2022-04-05Well stocked. Clean. Huge store. Has clean restroom. If youre hungry or thirsty, theres a concession stand area with reasonably priced food, snacks and drinks and a sitting area with vending machines. They have produce, but for what I need and like to buy the selection of produce is limited. The food (meats, produce and breads) looked fresh. We werent buying any, but we do notice there is often a line for their rotisserie chickens cooked in-store.This Costco is flanked by several other well known stores in one shopping center under one roof. Lots of paid parking lot spots. Cabs available in the parking lot area. Elevator accessible and escalators for convenience and accessibility.

2022-05-21This place has the most helpful, amazing staff. As a wheelchair user, I really dont know what I would have done without them during the height of the pandemic and beyond. Everything is always in its place and the staff is always available to assist.

2021-08-04Not the cleanest place I visited.Very long lines. No available workers to assist through any of the isles, as if the place is not trying to welcome new people who are not familiar with the store or any other details.

2022-04-05Good morning, It would be nice to see alot of new Items instead of shopping far away just to get an item that the store in Harlem never has. The point Im trying to make is lets get some Columbus Turkey Hamburgers, and some fresh Foster Buffalo chicken 🐓 Wings and some name brand Sweat Suits for men.And serving more Sample Foods would be nice !

2021-11-28We had to deal with a careless cashier named Christy. Not only was she rushing to put everything in the cart but she was so careless that she charged us twice for lettuce and she dropped the blackberries on the floor and she was nasty. I have proof on the receipt that she charged us twice. They literally had to cross it off. We bought an expensive item and she threw it in the cart like it was worthless. Horrible cashier.

2022-06-21I have been a member of the Costco for more than 25 years. I have shopped in different locations of the US, now in Harlem NYC. I like to shop at Costco because of the variety inventory. Lately, when I shop at Harlem store, the check out line was very long. The opening of check out were limited. I waited for 20 minutes. The Costco staff missed scanning a huge paper towel on my basket. When this problem was discovered, I was sent to rescan and it wasted another 5 minutes. The manager was rude. From now on, I will find different Costco stores near me. The experience of shopping at this location was disappointing.

2022-06-28Worst costco ever i went to this location just to get something to eat for me and my daughter mind you i am pregnant and just because i didn’t have a membership card the girl instead of explaining that i need the membership card she told me i was not welcome at this store to get out and never came back i try to explain her i been there before to get food and no one had ever told me that i needed the card and she said she didn’t care to just get out! This is unacceptable she could have explained better to me and not kick me out like i was an animal 😡😡 this place need better people

2022-04-19This Costco is very ORGANIZED and the sales reps are very helpful. I gave 4 stars because of the fresh produce being not fresh. The berries section is not good and often moldy. Please, check your produce regularly.
