They have finally achieved what seems to be there goal I will never go back to the West Islip store ever again. There customer service is atrocious the worst offender is the store manager. Although it is extremely close to my home I havent left there not annoyed in the longest time and getting keys made there forget about It stopped a longtime ago not one ever worked

This is not just an ordinary Ace Hardware store. It has just about everything. I needed 4 vinyl duct for a bathroom ceiling fan - no problem! A 700 lumen A15 clear light bulb. No problem. And if they dont have it they will check all the other Costello stores for you or order it.

I used to go to County Line hardware on West Hills rd. but now that this beautiful Ace hardware opened it could not have been more god sent ! Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with a , what they called a manager ! He not only was obnoxious and rude but embarrassed me in front of staff and a few customers standing in the store! This is the first review I’ve ever written in my life for real! My wife acknowledged how visibly upset I was when I returned home and pushed me to do this. The rest of the staff has been extremely helpful and friendly and I will not return to that store if this man is there for fear of an altercation. He is not a people person at all and should not be in the spot he’s in especially when you are trying to build relationships in a new neighborhood.All your stores are so well stocked and spotless you do not need a moron like this tearing down your walls!!Thanks for letting me vent .I will return when I see Joe or Steve in your store !

Way better than Home Depot, pretty knowledgeable staff. Besides, I like giving my business to local companies instead of big box retailers.

They most always have what I need a day if they dont I can order on line and I can either pick it up or they will deliver it to my home.

The last time I went to Costellos was 2-years ago but all of a sudden, out of the blue, I start getting email spam from Costellos Ace Hardware. I’ve been to other Costellos hardware stores...but I’ve never even been to the Deer Park store. Spam has consequences, and as a result of this spam I’ll never go to any Costellos hardware store again.Edit: Why would I need to unsubscribe from emails I never asked for in the first place.

Disappointed not mad not upset just disappointed. Tried selling me a made in China tool asking same price for a tool, better made American Tool.
