I came in and the small employee rich took me to the aisle and showed me what to use and how to use it, got his name, was pretty good but the cashier Jaden didnt ask for my rewards card, didnt say have a good day, and just felt rude towards me, and etc. Otherwise, good shopping experience
I came in on an early afternoon and was delighted by the greeting of the cashier, after that I needed help with plumbing and this young lady Amber helped me and she was sub-par. She was super knowledgeable, knew exactly what she was talking about, and was quick to help me find what i needed. :)
I run into this store quite often. Always great help. Always a great selection of what ever Im looking for. So if you dont have time to run into one of the big box stores, go to Ace. Youll be happy you did!
Just needed light bulbs, 4 to be exact store only had 2. Colleen found 2 more in East Islip store rang me up and she picked up the bulbs in East Islip and brought them to me.That is above and beyond service and dedication to the company you work for.With employees that dedicated to Ace I can be a dedicated customer.

Great local hardware store ive been going to for 10 years service is good and very helpful, only thing is that some stuff are priced higher than home depot and lowes. Those stores are to far for me and this ilplace is 5 min from my place.
Great selection. Still carry minwax and benjamin moore paints. Home depot switched to cheap products. Nice that ace cares about quality.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Were in a state of a national emergency and Ace Hardware in West Babylon is price gouging. A small container of discenfective wipes was priced at $10 which normally sells for 3 to $4Even the disinfectant sprays were double and triple the regular price. When I questioned the kid behind the counter his answer was its based on supply and demand and this is not considered gouging… really stop!We are in a time where we all need to help and support each other in a state of crisis and not look to make aprofit e off an emergency situation or the of people who are trying to protect themselves and their family...this community hardware store this patronized by many people in this town and to see that they will do that to the very same people that help keep them in business I believe the shameful and quite frankly disgusting this Ace Hardware store will not get my business moving forward and I did report them and I feel
This hardware store is awesome. The cashier Dottie was wonderful and she SAVED MY HIDE. My cell phone charger did not work and I had 0% battery life (my LIRR ticket was on MTA E-TIX android app) and she was very knowledgeable and assisted me in in finding a replacement cell phone charger and gave me a 9 percent power jump which was enough for me to make it home to take medicine. Thanks to her, not only did I make it home to take my medicine without skipping a dose. I had my cell phone back. Dottie YOU ROCK. THANK YOU SO MUCH, AND THANK YOU ACE HARDWARE.
My small little home town hardwear store I wish it was a little bigger but the staff knows there stuff there friendly and its just great going into a hardware store were they remember you and have a nice conversation with you great job
Place Is terrible. low stock empty bins on items they should have in stock. grabbed a gallon of Benjamin Moore regal select and kid behind the counter was clueless I had to help him with the paint machine. they are 15 dollars more a gallon than the paint store for regal select.

2022-05-06Went to buy a propane tank and a garden hose storage holder. They didnt have any full propane tanks but directed me to a company that did. The service overall was good.

2021-04-26Very friendly staff, they were able to direct me to anything I needed quickly and without hassle. The selection at this store isnt as large or diverse as most larger hardware stores but the friendly and knowledgeable staff make up for it. After purchasing extra supplies I needed to return one item and it was simple and hassle free.

2021-09-26Actually I was very disappointed, I purchased a garden hose nosel ( and it would not shut off ) last October the warranty on the product said to return to to Ace for a new one, there was no time limit on the warranty yet they told me it was only 30 days. I purchased a new one but will never shop at Ace again

2020-05-19Thanks for nothing . Had to cancel my curbside orders. But cannot get credit for items never received. Emailed headquarters to get a number to call. ..wait for hours and no one picks up. What a scam. Used to shop at Ace. Never again. Burned the rewards card. And when asked of my experience, I tell others go elsewhere. What a sham. Reporting to bbb and attorney general. Never again. Dont do curbside...youll be sorryThrowing money away...as they price gouge as well...but paying for items not received is plain theft...never ever shopping there again.

2021-01-10I needed help with a bunch of really odd and end hardware for work. I work in an operating room , so I must be really precise. Not on people but on the surgical robots and lasers. Most of the time I would get the hardware from the manufacture. The last two times I had a deadline to meet and of course I turned to COSTELLOS ACE HARDWARE. The first time PETE spent about 1/2 hour with me looking for matching hardware. This guy is FANTASTIC . Pete knows his stuff and is wonderful to deal with. One other time , I had another issue and Rich helped me. Another OUTSTANDING associate . Rich did not hesitate to locate hardware for me. Costellos Ace has one great team. I will not shop anywhere else. The team at COSTELLOS ACE HARDWARE goes way beyond in the customer service department and in the KNOWLEGE department. They are all OUTSTANDING and extremely PROFESSIONAL . You do not get that anymore, however at Costellos you do.. Again to Pete , Rich and the whole Costellos team . 2019-03-06Just purchased a house right down the road from Ace so obviously I have been spending alot of time in the store . The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!!!!! Today I purchased a patio set with umbrella and Glenn was very helpful . He understood exactly what I was looking for and went out of his way to help me find the right set . 2019-08-01So I came in here on a last Monday Morning, and when I walked in I wasnt even greeted upon entry. There was this heavy employee behind the register on his phone the whole time i was in there, when I asked them a question they didnt respond for the first 2 times. Then I went to my product to find out the package was already opened and just taped back together, not only was it just that, the price was incorrect when I came into the front to pay. When I asked them to check they refused. So I said I will take my business to Home Depot and they said I can do whatever I want. I am very disappointed in my local hometown hardware store. I cant even fathom my sadness from that day from start to finish, and this just made it worse. :( L FOR ACE
