My wife had lost her wheel on Rt 9 in Poughkeepsie, she had just had the tires rotated from a local shop whom I wont say and was in the right hand lane on a bad turn. They were there within 15 mins from the time of the call! The driver Mike was very professional, he made sure my wife was ok which is the most important thing to me, he got her in the truck safe out of the highway then loaded her car up. He didn’t even cause any extra damage To the car without the wheel being on. They were very reasonable with the price for a difficult situation. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Highly Recommend Countywide Towing!!

After calling my roadside assistance who called numerous other towing companies who didn’t want to come help me, County Wide Towing came referred from a friend of mine and were on scene within 30mins and were very reasonable with their price. After the 4th of July fireworks our car wouldn’t start. The tow company with the closest address that I called said they didn’t deal with my Honda (too small for them). A second one just had an answering machine. But County Wide Towing came through with flying colors. Mike Hacksteiner pulled up within 10-15 minutes, pulled out his booster battery, and in a moment all was well. NOTE: My call to County Wide was on a HOLIDAY night – 10:53pm. And Mike was on his way in less than 5 minutes. Put their number in your contact list – just in case. It’s never happened to me before – but I’m ready now. Thanks Mike. It was a relief to get back “on the road again.”

2018-11-19Dispatcher told me I was an idiot for being on road during snow. Felt I had to explain I had no choice.Asked how long it would take to get to me and was quoted 40 minutes which was understandable after two hours called another service and they responded in 25 minutes. I understand how bad reviews affect real people but they deserve everything they get. I wasnt even going to do a review until I saw this post they made. With so many other choices to make its a wonder people like this are still in business if this is how they feel about their customers who knows how they run their business.

2021-05-06I didn’t catch the guy who came outs name, he towed a vehicle I sold for me. Nicest tow truck driver I’ve ever had!! The women on the phone was very nice and helpful. I appreciate the service they provided. Wish I could’ve given him a tip!

2019-01-23Mike was my guardian angel!! I was stuck in the snow on Hollow Rd in Staatsburg which is a very dangerous curvy road. No one stopped to help not even the Sheriffs department BUT Mike turned around and came back to help me.It was very difficult to get my car out . Mike worked almost 30 minutes to pull my car out. Then when I wanted to tip him he didnt want the tip. But I insisted it was the least I could do to repay his kindness.Mike was very polite and patient. People were driving by almost hitting him and cursing but he just kept doing his job.I will always keep his card with me because I know I can count on Countywide Towing!! God Bless You,Mike.

2018-11-28My mother was in a car accident a few weeks ago. When i pulled up, she was sitting in the tow truck, plus it was pouring raining out. I trully appreciate Mike and his partner.
