Very nice hotel and I will stay again. The TV doesnt work but beautiful and clean room. I have yet to report it to the hotel but will tonight when I return from dinner

We stayed here the end of November and had a blast. There is an Amazing video arcade right across the street that for some reason isnt on Google maps but you cant miss it. Its right under the bridge. You can also get right down to the Hudson river through a hole in a fence but there was a bunch of dirty hypodermic needles on the ground so we had to go back to the hotel. Every night a million crows come into the parking lot and their soothing caws put me right to sleep.
I’d like to state the Manager Tony and front desk staff Adriana are very professional and welcoming. They made our stay a very friendly and hospitable one! The hotel is very clean and easy to find. The on-site bar has a great selection of beer and wine. They have pub nibbles available like flat bread pizza and quesadilla. I only rated the “dinning” portion of this review as good because it is not a restaurant. It is counter service and I wouldn’t want to mislead. However, the service you get at the bar/counter is excellent! It’s a nice lobby with televisions and a great outdoor patio with fireplace and seating. After a long day’s work the hotel provides a relaxing atmosphere. Parking on the premises is very convenient.

2022-04-07Easy, efficient check in. Friendly staff. Very clean room....roomy and comfortable. Appreciated the mini fridge and microwave.Bar was only open 6pm-10pm (Nina, the bartender, was pleasant, funny and attentive). Breakfast was also still very limited (COVID throwback). We were still able to get a hot bagel sandwich (sausage, egg and cheese) even though it wasnt advertised. Glad my brother asked, otherwise we would have had cold cereal or a muffin. Yuck!Nice river view.

2022-06-23We enjoyed our stay here! The location is super close to lots of bars and restaurants, which was great! I also had an issue with my bill and the front desk was quick with resolving it after my trip. However, I didnt necessarily think the premium price was worth it for this stay– the quality of this hotel is similar to any other Courtyard Marriott.

2022-05-03The cleanliness and comfort of the guest rooms were completely up to the usual Marriott standards we have always come to depend on, however, the friendliness of the staff and amenities at the Troy location were not. We had over 100 guests attending my sons wedding at Browns Brewing Company next door, so we thought the convenient location of the Marriott would be perfect.The 50+ guests who booked into the Marriott at our recommendations all expressed unhappiness about the limited hours at both the bar and the coffee station/breakfast facilities were open. Anyone who attends a wedding celebration until midnight certainly is hoping to get a cup of coffee in the hotel lobby after 9:30 am the next morning! We felt obligated to treat all of our guests to a real breakfast when we discovered that Starbucks closed at 9:30am. This may be acceptable for those few guests looking for nothing more than a clean and comfortable room, but it was not acceptable for this very special family event where people flew in from all-over the country to attend. When booking reservations for that many guests for the same event, they might want to consider extending the hours of bar and coffee facilities.

2022-02-07Unfortunately, I wasnt actually staying there, but visiting one of my family members. Its not overly expensive and Id stay there if I had the money to spend. I liked the fact that its located close enough to restaurants, bars, and shops to accommodate various interests. The staff was very attentive and cordial and because of the location, it was quiet in spite of its proximity to the bridge and highway.

2022-06-11Beautiful location, great space to work in the main common area. Super friendly people. Has an above average gym. Only draw back, can’t really get food there, however you are a 3 minute walk from Browns brewery - they have brilliant food !

2022-05-16I have stayed at the Marriott twice so far. The first time was as the pandemic was ramping I to high gear, and the states were shutting down as we left them. The second, two years later, and it is much the same. It is clean. It is quiet. It is professionally staffed. I recommend the Riverside rooms, the even numbered rooms. Good sunsets. Nice walking distance from Riverstreet. Very, very nice hotel.

2022-04-24Great new hotel. The location is ideal. I like that there is a lower level parking entrance. This hotel has everything you expect from Marriott. The only disappointing thing was I couldnt get a cup of hot tea/coffee in the lobby. I would recommend staying here.

2022-04-07We were on our way to Vermont and figured we will go up a day earlier. The hotel was very clean and modern. The price was very reasonable compared to other options we researched. I was able to check in directly from my phone and access the elevator and room from the APP. There was local bars and restaurants walking distance from the hotel. It happened to be St. Patrick’s day so we didn’t need to drive or Uber anywhere. Conveniently located. Would visit again.

2022-05-15The only complaint I have about this hotel was we requested a non-smoking room. When we got there they gave us a room that evidently somebody had been smoking in. We immediately called the front desk and Tony put us in another room right away. That was the only knock on the whole experience.

2022-05-03Welcoming staff and their rooms are very comfortable. On top of the waterfront view, there’s a nice walkway to enjoy outdoors in addition to a close downtown-like area.
