I only called for a quote for a cell phone repair. I was very surprised at the courtesy, concern, and professionalism in which my question(s) was answered.A detailed explanation was provided to me to justify the part (screen is not only cracked it is non-functional) necessary to facilitate the repair along with an estimate on cost.I wish my aging mind could remember the young mans name that answered the phone so I could mention him here. He really seemed like he cared about my inability to care for and protect my expensive electronics and took all the time necessary to explain what was needed along with total cost vs. replacing the phone. All the while being incredibly nice and genuinely seemed like he wanted to help first impressions are incredibly important. We never get a second chance and that first encounter its what we always. Its also why I will always recommend these folks! Class acts!
A++++ Service! I brought my sons ps4 in for repair. They diagnosed the problem, very informative, explained everything in detail in a manor I could fully understand and repaired it in less than 3 hours. Great customer service and would highly recommend them.
Brought my sons iPhone in after the screen became unresponsive. Didnt have much hope that it could be salvaged. After dropping it off to Jacob in the AM, he had the phone working flawlessly by afternoon. A small fraction of the cost of a new phone or the hassle of the Apple repair process. Highly recommend this business.

Amazing experience when dealing with the folks at CPR Cell Phone Repair! I brought a Asus ROG Phone 3 to them with a broken screen. No one in the Southern Tier would touch this high end phone because they are expensive and hard to repair. Jake Macblane took on the challenge with no hesitation. He did a beautiful job in a short period, for very little money I might add. If you want a fast repair for a great price, go to this establishment.
Update- I needed my phone fixed again 11/8/21. Jake fixed my phone quickly and affordably. He fixed my home button too, which I did not expect. I recently brought in my totaled iPhone with some serious screen damage, not knowing how harmful it could’ve been had I prolonged my visit. Luckily for me, the Crew over at CPR were as attentive as I am, welcoming and very swift.I received my like-new phone back within an hour tops! With a price that only made sense. Now this review may sound like a paid ad, but I guarantee you - the team over at CPR is your best bet, if you want quality/swift service, a comfortable environment and your gadgets to look damn near new!P.S. The person who handled the repair for my boyfriend’s electronic has been very disrespectful and unprofessional all together. She hasn’t kept in contact in the updates for the electronic, and has been extremely rude upon us calling to inquire about when it will be done. They even melted the plastic frame and are trying to charge more money to fix it. As a company, it is their responsibility to fix what they broke. You can’t put that on the customer. We have already waited a month to fix a job that shouldn’t be more than a couple of weeks. It still isn’t done. On top of this, the person threatened to keep our product because “it’s been in her possession for more than 10 days”. It wouldn’t be in your possession if you would do the job you agreed to! I will never go through this company again for anything and I will make sure everyone who goes there is aware of the scams, unprofessionalism, and disrespect they will get when using this service.This company charges WAY too much for their service, and doesn’t make me willing to support them with the way their team member acted. I am certainly not impressed and we should’ve went elsewhere to get this fixed. At this point now I just want the product back along with all the money we’ve forked over in trying to get it fixed.
I am a student and my computer had severe water damage; this is the primary device that I use for my schoolwork as well. CPR got it up and running again within only a couple days and at a very affordable rate! Thanks guys!
I recently purchased a new desktop PC from Red Barn, a division of this company. My previous PC had also been built by them and lasted nearly 12 years. The new PC was reasonably priced is super fast. I love how Red Barn seamlessly transferred everything (software, favorites, old emails, etc.) from my old to my new PC. The set-up tech, Steph, even got my speakers working properly. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and communicated well. Were fortunate to have a business like this in our area.
The staff at Cell Phone Repair were very helpful with repairing my daughters cracked screen. They kept me informed on when the part was arriving and they took their time with the repair. They were very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs repairs on their electronic devices.

My computer was not responding to my personal settings. I tried everything I could think of doing. I contacted CPR and explained my situation to them. I brought my computer into them and Martin was very professional and very polite. He called me several times throughout the day to keep me posted on what he was doing. To me that is worth everything. Knowing that they care enough to keep you in the loop was amazing. He called me in the morning and told me my computer was repaired. I have to do some tweaking to it but it’s back working again. My phone dropped and the screen wasn’t work so I made an appointment for CPR the next morning (with many appointment times to choose from). Jake MacBlane fixed my screen in less than an hour and a half along with cleaning my charging port that hasn’t worked for a year for free!! Thank you CPR.
Excellent! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! I would highly recommend CPR Binghamton to everyone. They were able to fix my cracked cell phone within a couple of hours. Dont go anywhere else - this is the only place I would trust to fix my cell phone. I even got a cute pop-socket for my phone.

Mark was not only pleasant but also helpful. I had gone to Best Buy originally, and they said i needed a new computer due to hardware issues. These guys lost phone parts during the repair and were then dishonest about it. As a result, the warranty was voided. Id recommend seeking phone repair services elsewhere, and will wait for a more competent service provider for future repair needs.
I remember Red Barn when they had a retail store on Upper Front St. That store was always useful for picking up reasonably priced parts for any computer need. Their new retail store is a fraction of the size, and it is clear that they are shying away from being a computer part store, to being an IT / custom computer (high end) supplier. While they did have the part I needed (solid state hard drive), the price was not nearly as competitive as I remember and selection wasnt very good. Overall, this place is good in a pinch (need something quick), but its no doubt that they will loose business to online retailers with greater selection and more convenient locations.
This place is terrible and they’re crooks. I called and asked about my Xbox being repaired and they told me it would be 85 dollars. 35 for the new hdmi port I needed and 50 for labor. I asked if they could just use my hdmi in port in place of it and the guy said sure, then it would only be 50 dollars. I then showed up to get my Xbox fixed and they took my hdmi in port and charged me full price. I never agreed to paying full price for them using my port. That’s insanely messed up they pulled that on me. Why would I want that port missing when I could have both for the same price? That was super scummy of them.
I needed a new USB charging cable for my iPhone and CPR had exactly what I needed! They saved me the trouble of going to a mall or an unreputable store for a cheap knock-off that would damage my phone. Its great having CPR right here in Binghamton!!

I brought my computer in and Mark said it would be finished by Thurs. ( It was running very slow, unable to update, lots of junk that I could not get rid of on my own.) I never asked to be put in front of customers as I was told on several occasions that orders would be done by a certain date and they were not. As far as CPR and Red Barn goes you are all the same, in the same building and owned by the same person. My signs were paid for by bartered services from my business which you all participated in consuming. Your team regardless of what name you call yourselves are headed by the same unprofessional person who allows unprofessional workers who dont know their capacity to finish any job that they themselves tell customers will be finished. My suggestion as a business owner is to know your capacity to finish a job when you tell a client it will be finished!

As a habitual offender of cell phone breakage, don’t use a protective case, I’ve had plenty of cell phone repairs at various locations with mediocre service, not bad just ok, until now, I just had my cell phone repaired by CPR and these guys are exceptional, after all it’s just a transaction right ? Cell phone breaks, get it repaired, pay for it...No way, these guys go above and beyond, I was going to buy a new phone, not now, my phone has never been betterHighly recommend these guys for repairsThere is a difference

They are extremely rude and after only 1 thing, your $ ... Buy online at New Egg, or off Ebay where they buy many of the parts they sell to you as NEW !! Buyer Beware

Took them about a week to fix my hdmi port, they never called me i had to call them, and i sent my playstation in with a broken hdmi port that was all, and now my playstation can’t read disk.

2022-06-16My daughters iphone screen was cracked beyond usability (probably not a real word). But that was the case. Called before I went to see if the screen was in stock. The guy on the phone said they had one, answered all my questions, and gave me an honest answer when I asked how long it would take. I showed up 2 hours later, they immediately acknowledged me, grabbed the new screen, explained the process, gave me a quoted time and wrote up the order. I didn’t have time to stay while the repair was being done, but it seemed like an awesome place to just chill and hang out at while it was being done. But, I picked it up well after it was done, and it was perfect.This is where I tell everyone the reason I’ll go back there for all of my phone, or any other service they offer…While I was there for just a screen repair, they offer a ton of other things and accessories. They didn’t try to sell me on anything whatsoever. I actually asked about their screen protection options, and the associate explained every single one to me without ever saying that I “should buy” or “need” or “do you want to look at…”. He was knowledgeable, kind and very personable. I actually chose a cheaper/middle of the road screen protector in the end and they put it on for me.I would highly recommend this place for their staff, atmosphere, and overall convenience. Sorry for the ranting. It was just nice to see that some places still actually care about taking care of customers more than overselling or pushing into things they don’t want or need. Super refreshing.

2022-06-14Stopped in with a broken phone and asked Jared if he could retrieve my photos that Verizon could not do. He asked if he could see my new phone for a moment. In about two minutes he showed me all the photos that been saved. He could have repaired my old phone and retrieved them at a higher price but instead charged me a 19.95 service charge. Honest man and a really nice guy. Highly recommended!!!!@

2021-10-04I came here to get my phone screen fixed, and Im so glad I did! The staff are kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. Jared, who helped me at the front, was lovely, and I saw his interactions with other customers where he was just as great with them!While the pricing is certainly nothing to write home about, its reasonable and transparent. I paid the part amount, which from my research was perfectly accurate, and 75 dollars for labour, which while not cheap, makes complete sense considering the quality of the work they do. They also provided me with a screen protector for no extra charge!With lovely staff, quality work, and an adorable dog in the building to boot, I would absolutely reccomend this location to anyone experiencing tech issues!Edited because I forgot to add: As I checked out, I was also informed Id receive a discount should I ever need to return. How fantastic is that?
