Maintenance office was very UNPROFESSIONAL , staff members are never on time to complete repairs. Continuous calls and forever giving tenants the run around. Who enjoy living with rodents and roaches , yes this is every day living however it’s about controlling the situation. No one wants to work anymore all that’s wanted is a check no in days!
This is not the same place as when I moved in 2015. It is no longer a peaceful and quiet place. Sad to watch this place change. I moved from the city for a peaceful place but it is as loud as the city with people driving in the complex with their loud music. Not as a clean as It use to be. Honestly the folks that has moved in since 2020 has changed this place. Not sure if the leasing agent cares who is being considered to move in or are they being scrutinized because It is not the same place anymore.
The worst place I have ever lived. Been here for 6years. Management is disrespectful No one ever comes to fix issues in my apartment. I have a leak for a year and a half. No exterminator so yes roaches and mice. save your money and headache stay away.
Ive been living here for 37 years and I have to say that the grounds have never looked so good. The landscaping is breathtaking and really makes walking thru the complex an enjoyable experience. A big shout out to Ryan for her hard work with the plants and flowers !!
I moving out of here tomorrow. Service is horrible and this manager clearly can’t take any of my or other tenants matters seriously. I had a leak coming out of my radiator for 3 days and no one ever came to fix it. My advice to people that live here, move out while you still can. I can’t take this nightmare anymore. 😒

How can you live here without issues being resolved? The other day my walls started to crack. Called the office about it they said they will send someone over. Then a guy comes to my apartment and spots the cracks. He said there is nothing I can do. I might just leave here soon, i cant take it anymore.
I had high hopes when I first moved into the complex. Those hopes were quickly dashed when I needed help from the maintenance department....I asked for help with a broken window and was given the run around for a couple of weeks! Slowly but surely one thing led to another and more procrastination.....If you can look elsewhere....For the price youre paying here ....YOU DEFINITELY DO NOT GET ENOUGH BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!!! MANAGEMENT DEPT APPEARS TO BE INEPT!
The complex is over priced for the amount of rent they are charging! The mangers office is unprofessional and rude! If you call they put you on hold and dont get back to you in a timely manner! If I could give ZERO STARS I would! Do yourself a favor and if you want to live in a place where you are treated courteously and decent, look elsewhere!
Hi I know theres quite of complaints about crestwood Lake apartments company negatives and positives reviews but like most Private rental companies i have been living at crestwood Lakes apartments for about a quarter century to be exact its a peaceful beautiful area to live in and bring up kids with lots of playgrounds in the area as well, the young lady who is in charge of the ground keeping has done a fantastic job in making the area look like fantasy island
I have been a tenant at Crestwood lake apartments for 8 years.This once was a great place to live. Whoever is in charge of managing this property since 2017 has let it become run down. We sent in the same work order for our bathroom ceiling for 4 months. It has a big hole and the mice droppings for all over the floor. I have not received a return phone call from the manager or her staff and they just dont care. The owner should be appalled at this level of service.But I guess theyre just slumlords. If you read other reviews you will notice that they gave the same response to everyone. They tell you to call us.I have been calling for 4 months!!!Fix my ceiling
I don’t know how this property manager is still in business. I called the office Friday afternoon and as usual no one ever calls me back from the office. I can’t stand the aggravation anymore. I have roaches crawling out of my radiator, and no one ever seems to care about these because if the manager did care, she would send someone over right away. But that never happens. The owner will leave a brief response saying “we take these matters seriously and don’t hesitate to call the office”. That is just an excuse the owner always responds to these reviews. I have already called the office and no one ever calls back. And if you took these matters seriously, sent someone quicker rather than later. Good day!
I am by updating my review to 5 stars. The service I have received from Theresa Pena and Henrietta has been fabulous. I had a major problem with my oven and they addressed it quickly. They not only got me a new oven, but they had my entire kitchen updated and renovated. They were very caring and kind. Jazz and his crew handled the renovation and did a wonderful job. Thanks to all. It is beautiful. I am very appreciative of all your caring and kindness. All the best.
I cant with this place anymore. Im leaving this nightmare next week and getting far away from here. Management doesnt care when something goes wrong in the apartment, all they say is we will send someone, but no one ever shows up. This isnt the first time this happened to me. Apartments are infested with roaches, which is gross. Parking here at night is a problem, that I had to park on Central Park Ave and walk 5 minutes to my apartment. How can The owner of this property hire a horrible manager? And why is management never showing respect to tenants? Peace of advice, leave here while you still can.

My family recently moved here and we love it! We love our Apt, the neighborhood is safe and our children can play outside with the other kids. The grounds are beautiful to walk.We have no complaints.
The manager still hasn’t returned my phone call ever since last Friday. I’m not the only one this has happened to. I know people that have called the office and never received a call back. This just shows that office staff doesn’t care.
If you want to go winters with no heat; deal with mold; and no parking, this is the place for you. Oh and let’s not forget the unprofessionalism and empty promises from the company to resolve any of these issues. So desperate by offering tenants money to get people to move here just so that they can have them live in uncomfortable situations.Called numerous times throughout winter to complain about the no heat, and they only documented the recent calls, which makes it seem like the tenants are wrong. Might as well should’ve slept outside because that’s how it felt inside the apartment.Our car was involved in 2 hit and runs because they allow anyone to park in our lots and don’t act upon those who don’t belong (funny because they always have security patrolling for no reason I guess).The mold developed fast after moving in and maintenance came and painted over the mold. Obviously the mold came back quick. I’m sure they don’t get rid of it, they just paint over it. If you’re looking to move in, be aware there’s probably already mold in the bathroom hidden.So yes! If you’re looking forward to living in poor/dangerous conditions come on in. We lived here for 4 years with a lot of patience, but there’s only so much one can take. I’m grateful my partner and I are healthy and young and can bare these living conditions, but I really hope that for people with health conditions and elderly people are being taken care of. Thankfully, we get to say goodbye to this nightmare soon! Many people I’ve spoke to are dying to leave. (Also don’t get fooled! They’re responding to people’s reviews for show. They really don’t care about you, your feelings or your living conditions).

I work at crestwood lake apartments and I can tell you they do not spend money to repair ..anything the right way. Bathroom Cielings fall regularly and all they do is put a piece of plywood over it to keep the mice out and never repair it the correct way. The floors Are collapsing and all they do is install 2x3 pieces of wood to make them look level but they are not structurally solid. The roaches Are bigger than anything u have ever seen before and they look like there on steroids. The property manager is clueless and so is the big boss downtown. Scott does not know anything about running a property this big. The tenants put in work orders but nothing gets fixed. They charge high rents and you get absolutely nothing for your money. The laundry rooms are disgusting and run down. There are a lot of nicer places for cheaper money.
I have lived here for over a year now and its a good environment. No one yelling and screaming. We have a lake. Way better than where I used to live. Great area for children to grow up in.
PLEASE READ BEFORE RENTING HERE — As you can see, there are over 130 reviews where current and former residents are expressing the countless issues that occur in this complex! PLEASE BELIEVE THEM, I made the mistake of not and truly regret ever moving into Crestwood. I can honestly say this may be the worst apartment complex in all of Westchester County, and it won’t be far off from being the worst in all of New York City. Here’s the 10 main reasons (there are several others, but this should be more than enough) why you shouldn’t rent here or ever recommend someone to:1. Rats, huge WaterBugs/roaches, spiders and several other types of insects infest apartments2. Little to no heat in winter (with very cheap windows so your apartment will be freezing)3. Geese feces on every block of the neighborhood.(There will not be a day you leave your apartment and not mistakenly step in geese poop, which you will bring into your car and apartments on the bottom of your shoes)4. Most Unprofessional management team I have ever encountered (management team are polite and nice up until the day you sign your lease. After that, they will become the rudest people you have ever encountered)5. Often no gas in your apartments for periods of over 2-3 months (which means you will not be able to use your stove or oven during that time, they will provide you a hot plate to cook similar to what you would use in the woods if you are on a camping trip)6. Apartment walls are paper thin. You can hear every single noise, conversation, etc. by your neighbor. No exaggeration7. Dirtiest laundry rooms I have ever seen in your life with only 3-4 old washing machines for the entire complex to share ( trust me, you will have to find a place outside the complex to wash your clothes)8. Parking is a nightmare. If you arrive home anytime after 7pm on any night of the week, be prepared to walk a long distance to your apartment because you will likely have to park outside of the neighborhood on the main strip, Central Avenue9. Unresponsive and unknowledgeable maintenance team. The only thing they are capable of doing is maybe unclogging your toilet, otherwise it is pointless to request any service to your apartment, because they will either never show unless you harass them or they will find a way to blame the maintenance issue on you because they don’t have the knowledge to fix it10. Safety. There are no cameras anywhere throughout the neighborhood and barely any street lights so you have to just pray nothing happens to you at night while walking through here.Finally, if you complain about any of the above issues to the Management team, they will make excuses every time you reach out until eventually you give up on calling them.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, BELIEVE ALL THESE REVIEWS. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE, UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH ALL THE REASONS LISTED ABOVE ALL WHILE PAYING THEM MONTHLY RENT.
The previous reviewers couldnt have said it any better. Management and maintenance upkeeping has been horrible. I been here almost 4 years and Im ready to leave.People here are really inconsiderate of others. I have this horrible family that moved into my complex. I think a member of this family even works for Crestwood apartments. They make so much noise. They slam doors, kids banging stuff all over the place and to make matters worse they blast music past 1am. Absolutely ridiculous.
We have been residence here for more than 4 years this property has gone downhill over the last 3 years management does not repair anyting call in for work orders no one responds for months. We have more mice and rats than we have tenants. The on-site property manager is very nasty and rude and will not return any phone calls to any tenants. Our advice to you is not to move in here no matter how manyonths of free rent they offer.
So many complaints. The laundromat behind my house only has ONE working washing machine. The other two have been out of order for MONTHS. I have to walk back and forth 100x before I can put my clothes in. It is also so dirty. They really need to renovate them. There is also a roach problem. I always call for the exterminator and keep my house very tidy. Still, the roaches show up. Additionally, unless you have a parking permit to park in a lot, you will spend hours trying to find parking in this area during the evening. There are a few staff members who are nice, but some are very rude. One in particular always has an attitude when he has to come to fix something. Furthermore, rent is always increasing. If you are making us pay more money for whatever reason, you should ALSO pay attention to all these reviews and do something about them. Most of the reviews are negative and I do not see any changes being made. Just excuses. How about you upgrade your services? Thank you.
I cant even bare to live in the apartment. This place has terrible service and the the superintendant Manny is the worst guy i ever met. Also the laundromats are never fixed and when there is maintenence done in my apt, my rent is expensive. Also i have to deal with roaches (visitors) in the rooms. This place sucks to live in and i hope that this place gets improved. Last thing, when the staff to tells you to call the office all they do is get very frustrated and never act professional. I wish i can give 0 stars. I dont like leaving bad reviews but this place really sucks so i had to. The only thing that happens with the reviews is that when the owner responds, all they say is that they are sorry for the experience, we understand that this can be frustrating, come to the lease office to explain in more descriptive detail. Check reviews with the owner responding. Never live here if you want rude and nasty service.
Living here for 16 years. Was good for the first six years but for the last 10 years total disaster. Where to begin, upkeep is horrible, mice and roaches, unprofessional staff especially in the office. One of the workers the supervisor named Manny is a flirt and a rude man. My daughter was in my apartment when Manny was fixing something he could not stop staring at her so unprofessional. My daughter had to leave thats how uncomfortable she was. I hope the new manager reads this and takes swift action. This place has become a laughing stock.
They told us we had two parking spots but the truth is that if you arrive later than 8pm you are most likely spending at least 30min looking for parking. Wanna go out with your friends in the evening or run to the supermarket after work? Well, you wont find parking. In one year I got two tickets because there is no parking spaces if you arrive late.Moreover, most people in the office are extremely rude. Plumbing is awful, the shower water is either too hot or two too cold. The garbage is placed at the buildings door and they accumulate during the weekend only to be collected on Monday. If you have a holiday on Friday or on Monday, then expect nasty garbage to welcome you home. In addition, the laundry room is a scary and disgusting place.To make it worst, I got a letter communicating me about a raise in the rent because of constructions. Wait, that wasnt on my budget! And I cannot even move out because I have a one year entrapment contract.
This place has the worst maintenance you could imagine. They replace entrance door of my building at 39 Beaumont and installed cheap with 2 holes and covered one with a plate. The door does not even close properly. Radiator in hall does not work . we had to change light bulb in hall because of lack of maintainence. We complained to porter and he said call office and we did but nothing happened. Horrible stench comes from basement/crawl space. If owner ever visits this property they would be applaud. Property manager must be someones relative.
Management is oblivious to everything. Try very hard to make the environment look good, but neglect the apartments. Very annoying. My father has to look around for almost an hour for parking. The manager, Jeff, never returns calls. It is very inconvenient for me. The laundry rooms are also dirty and odorous and sometimes smells like urine. You sometimes find shady people smoking in there. Do yourself a favor and dont move here unless as a last resort.
It seems as if you’re not responding to my needs. I sent several emails and calls regarding the noise coming from the apartment above me. There has been no resolution and this continues to go on for weeks. I can not sleep. The noise is unbearable; I have children who are in school and working from home and the noise is continuous from the beginning of the day to late at night into the wee hours of the morning. This is a violation of the lease agreement and I will now involve an attorney. The office has not returned my calls and I don’t mind moving since this situation has no resolution in sight. I have never in my three years of living here experienced such difficulty regarding inconsiderate neighbors.
The staff in the office are VERY rude. Youll be lucky to find parking after 7pm and questionable people linger around the clock. The top worst things has to be the thin floors/walls so you hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do, when it rains the creek over flows and the streets are flooded so your car will need to be checked also good luck trying to leave. The laundromat, that place was the worst! I used to call it Silent Hill or a Law and Order scene because its so dark, damp, and honestly its easy to become a victim down there. Not worth paying such a high rent.I didnt have bug problems because I used to sanitize and spray bug repellent every month (dont expect them to do it unless you mention youll pay and Im not sure if they do a good job)The only good things I can say is the fire department is close, a lot of stores and public transportation. Also there was about 3 really nice handy men! They would pick up the slack for the lazy ones (sorry I dont remember there names).Its a good starter apartment for 1 year, just try to save your money and move out.
AVOID AT ALL COST, be prepared to be stalked 24/7. You are not supposed to hear your neighbors whenever you go to the bathroom,use the toilet or in the kitchen,if you do,know that you are being stalked in your own apartment. Put security cameras inside your apartment if you can. Make sure you change the locks and most importantly dont have a routine.The management dont care, if they realize you know your rights,they will intimidate and frustrate you,till you give up and move. Dont trust none of the workers,but be nice to the though.Rent goes up every year, for what purpose i dont understand.Long story short, this will be the worst decision of your life. Good luck
I reside at 33 Shoreview Drive. My experiences here are terrible to say the least. I live with mice and roaches. Free exterminator service does not help. The basement apartment has asbestos and we all are scared of contamination to the other units. I called the office many times and they say dont worry it is okay but I am still very nervous. Several months back the supervisor Manny came to my apartment. He is such a mean person. He said dont worry in a very loud tone and I told him not to speak that way to me. He is very unprofessional. Called office to speak with new manager never available always busy. Left message Theresa never called me. Wish I could give 0 stars.
My experience with Manny has been nothing short of a nightmare! Manny is a rude, unprofessional and downright disgrace to Crestwood Lake Apartments! Manny has been to my apartment several times always says nothing is wrong. Called office to complain but nothing was done. Laundry facilities are a total disaster most washers and dryers not working and rooms are closed. Benches around property half are broken and I have seen kids move the benches and smoke marijuana on them! Tried to call the new manager, Theresa. Left two messages with David no call back! For the high rent we all pay, we should not live under the horrible conditions!
This place has many roaches and mice. We thought when the new property manager came here it would be different. Its not. Still the same rundown apartment. Gas company turns gas off every year to hundreds of apartment because of failing gas pipes in building. They told everyone it was the gas company fault. Turned out crestwoods pipes are faulty. Terrible place to live. Who is really RUNNING this place.
Apartments are old, infested with roaches. Maintenance services are lousy and not responsive. Have to send a ton of emails before any action is taken. Not worth for the rent being charged.
Reserved Parking is a JOKE. There is no kind of parking enforcement forreserved spots. The management issues stickers just to make money , if you change your car and need a new sticker there is a 15$ charge. They do not enforce parking. Anyone specially visitors mostly park in reserved spots and when you call the emergency line they do not help with parking issues. The security on site is helpless as well since they do not have a listing of reserved spots issued by management. The towing numbers listed on site will not tow a car if parked in your reserved spot because they do not have a current listing of residents assigned spot either.DO NOT BUY THE FREE PARKING SPOT catch they advertise when renting an apartment.

I had mold in my bathroom. Called the office they sent the superintendent Manny Marrero who is so rude. He said I did not have mold. He also said if I call the office to complain he would tell them I had dirt on my walls not mold. He said he runs things here and he is the boss. I called my own painter at my expense who fixed the mold. Cant wait to move this place is ridiculous! Horrible experience!

For sometime now I have been trying to get management attention regarding my present situation, but have been ignored. The hostile environment that I live in.is making me and my children lives unbearable. I am paying $2126.00 monthly for an apartment that I cannot sleep In. I have asked repeatedly to have my lease terminated, my deposit returned to me, so that I could find another place to live. With all that’s going to in the world right now, not been able to sleep, pray, is causing me anxiety. I am using this platform to see if management will do what is right to get me and my kids out of this hostile environment. It’s the right thing to do. Please help me get out of this unpleasant situation. I am begging!!
Horrible experiences here. This is the worst. No working laundry rooms, have mice and roaches. Asbestos in my floors. Manager does nothing. Rude supervisor Manny always blames management. Nothing in my apt is fixed. Moving soon.
Apartments are not good to live there. Management is too bad. Manager of apartment, He never reply on issue. Without proper notice management block your parking and ask towing company to lock your car. If you send email to him asking to show notice where it state that then he will never reply and towing company with taking money he will not open lock from your car. It is worst experience in this apartment. Also for any breakage if you call then person will come after too many days and they show you face like they are favoring you instead of they are doing their job.
Been living here for the past 8 years. Very disappointed with the new management I have complained about our main door broken and our bathroom tiles chipped off the floors from nearly everywhere mold in the bath tub tiles. We have a 5 year old and new born. I have called many times and walked in for complain too and they say someone will be coming in today but that today never comes.I DO NOT AT ALL RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Everything is old the kitchen bathroom cupboards and they are charging big amount and giving you NO SERVICE
Beautiful apartment complex! No complaints. Maybe except for the parking! Staff is very friendly. Glad I made the choice to live here. Family friendly. Grounds are well kept. Building is well maintained. Unlike other reviews, I havent had any issues with mice or roaches! I would recommend you come take a look for yourself! I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
I have roaches in my apartment. The staff is really terrible. Most of the time it smells very bad in the hallway, plus half the lights in the hallways are out, and its difficult to see in the dark with little lighting. The machines are very poor and they suck terribly. The people at the office dont care when you call. They always say call them and they take care of it, they never do nothing but sit in the office all day. I personally dont like living here
Just moved out recently and thank heavens I did. This place is a nightmare. Horrible staff extremely rude in the office. David and Marina are so rude and disrespectful. I asked for the manager to call me back never did. The manager jeff burdick does not care does not take phone calls i was told by David. David said he is to busy. I left because the place is horrible roaches waterbugs and mice. Can never do my laundry the rooms are disgusting never cleaned and stink always water on the floor alot of leaks. Went to another laundry room same. Went to another the same. Called office spoke with David again he said he would have them fixed three weeks later still broken. Spoke with Carmen once she seemed to care. Very glad i left. Always raising your rent and they never fix anything they have terrible lawns discolored and look horrible. Wanted to be fair with my review. It is very true and accurate. Look at the other reviews they are all 100% accurate!!!
Living here for 8 yrs. Called office about 4 months ago about asbestos signs I noticed on my building and every building in the entire complex. Spoke with a rude man named David. He said its nothing. I said why are there danger asbestos signs on all crawl space basement doors. David said the manager Jeff Burdick would call never did. Also had mold in my bathroom spoke with same person David, what a buffoon. He sent over a much nastier person named Manny. Manny went into my bathroom looked around and said I should keep my bathroom window open and the mold will go away. I said are you serious. Manny said yes and its my fault for this mold. I was very upset and asked him for his full name. He said Manny the supervisor. I again asked him for his last name he refused. He said I am the only supervisor here. I told him I am filing a complaint with Jeff and he said go ahead. I finally spoke with Jeff and he said he would take care of it but this Manny the supervisor still works here. I know there is a new manager named Theresa. I saw her letter in my hallway. I hope she fires this Manny the supervisor! Manny is a rude and obnoxious man. Moving when my lease is up soon. Cant stay here.

Asked to speak with Jeff never available. Left my name and number with David never got a call. Jeff Burdick is extremely unprofessional. I spoke with him a while back he is a yes man and does nothing. Laundry rooms are disgusting and machines are broken. I still have mice and waterbugs. The appearance of the property is horrible not maintained at all. They take your rent and you get rude and unprofessional staff. My neighbors feel the same way about this so called community. IF THE OWNER IS READING THIS, FIRE THE MANAGER JEFF BURDICK AND DAVID TO START! This place has potential but not with this staff.
The laundry situation is the biggest problem. There are around 5 laundry rooms , with very few working machines. People constantly getting into fights in the laundry room and when you call management, they refuse to help. To avoid fighting over machines, if you decide to install a washer in your apartment, they wont even let you do that! And dont even get me started on on the parking situation. Crestwood apartments suck!

This place is like a ghetto area. My ceiling has cracks and further more, this place really sucks to live in and my rent is so expensive every time maintenance is done in my apt. I cant even do my laundry with several of the machines broken. No maintenance is even done with these. Do not live here unless you want rude staff. That is my word to all you guys
The rats here are bigger than my CAT!!Went to office to complain and asked to see property manager. I was told absolutely not because he is too busy. Was told to put in work order. I noticed an employee throwing loose rat poison in crawl spaces and after internet research we found this to be illegal. We are aware of asphestos in crawl spaces so I dont think they should oopen those doors so often. The water bugs are bigger than the mice.you should really think twice about renting here.
I drove by this complex and decided to look into it because I am in the market for a new apartment and OMG. I have never seen such horrible reviews about an apartment complex that I actually felt compelled to say something. Ive read these generic responses from the so-called owner which are a joke. Why pretend that you care by responding, just own up to you guys being uncaring and disrespectful to your tenants. Im so happy I looked up these reviews before contacting this place, it seems like Crestwood Lake Apartments is Yonkers biggest joke.

Do NOT rent at Crestwood Lake. Management sucks. They literally do NOT care about tenants. Garbage pickup is terrible. Grounds are filthy. If you read ANY positive reviews, its probably their management office that is writing them. They literally sued us. I cannot possibly give a worse review of this place. Check Craigs List and youll see that they always have empty apartments because they are so terrible. Stay away!!
I feel I have to share my horrible experiences as they are so terrible. Read other reviews about the Superintendent Manny Marrero. All 100% accurate. Manny Marrero was hitting on my 19 yr old daughter non stop and it got so bad at one point I had to report it to general mgr Jeff Burdick. Jeff Burdick told me if I dont stop complaining he will evict me. Manny continued hitting on my daughter and she had to move. Have roaches and mice to. Manny is a disgusting man. Why does he still work here? my daughter had to move!
If you are planning on choosing a good apartment to live in, this is not the one. The management is very rude, biased, and horrible. They seriously need to fire some of those people. Ive been waiting 3 years for a parking spot but some people here get parking less than a month after moving in! By 8pm there is not one single parking spot available and you will have park far away and walk home. Cars are always getting stolen in this area (including mine) so lock your cars. There are a lot of wannabe thugs here selling drugs and causing drama. Ive seen HUGE 2 inch roaches in the apartments now and then. The condition of these apartments is horrible. It is very old and broken-down. There is moss in almost every bathroom in these apartments and out-dated ACs in the living room. Geese are always infesting the area and leaving their poop EVERYWHERE. They rip and throw trash all over the place leaving almost no place for children to play. The lake is fenced in and used as dumping area. Dont believe the lies they tell you about this place being clean and friendly.
Moved out a few months ago because of the superintendent Manny Marrero and Jeff Burdick. Whenever something had to be fixed, Manny always found an excuse not to do it and if he fixes it, it was done incorrectly. Spoke with Jeff and voiced my concerns and nothing was done. Made me feel like we were bothering him. Very dismissive. Manny is rude and unprofessional. Where we live now, great place and great Superintendent. Manny could learn from the superintendent in our new building. Good riddance to Crestwood Lake and welcome to Scarsdale!
Today is is the day!! I caught bald headed freak manny Morerro talking and flirting with girls in the street. Contacted the office about this, someone picked up and never stated his or her name. I kept lingering to get the name. It did not work. Office clearly does nothing to provide the action that needs to be done. This is like the worst property Ive ever lived in. I hate this place its like the duck poop on the ground. I might move out a hers soon. I cant live here with a bald headed freak super. Goodbye. Do not live here If you want terrible service.

Its not as horrible place compare to the Bronx or the city. Its not the best place in the world I would want to raise my children either. Yes, it has parking issues. Yes, the management sucks. Yes, they have some shady people living in the area. Yes, you will smell curry around the clock. But the apartments are largest in sq/ft. The people who makes curry are probably least harmful people. The apartments not used to be in section 8. Now, it is so that is probably the worst part. In one apartment, they have many people sharing. Thats where parking spots are filled with more than 2 cars and thugs/smug are spotted. Its has crappiest laundry rooms. Just have to go to Laundromat nearby. its still better than living in the Bronx or some of areas of Brooklyn. You at least have less thugs/smug around you. still, this apartment cannot be permanent place to raise the kids.

We attached a photo of our mail which clearly shows 73 shoreview apt 1 along with our name. ***** We where evicted cause we could not afford rent but 15 days after we left Manny Marrero the complex super who is the only person with a key after the Marshall evicted you went into our apt and stole laptops and computers. The law states your personal property has to be kept sage by landlord for 30 days. Manny was the only person with the key and stole our stuff. His boss Scott Kessler did nothing to help us. Why does he have someone like this working there. Well mr Kessler you are Lying when u say you have no record of us living there We have mail to prove it. And have posted photo of name and address. . Now we can clearly see where the deceitful ways of your employees come from. THE TOP. Does the owner Dian Woodner allow your employees to steal from there tenants? Lived here for a while but since moved on. Lenny used to be in charge and he was great. Lenny knew how to talk to people but this guy Jeff is a horror show The office staff is so unprofessional and does not care why you are calling. David especially is such a nasty man. Had some questions with my lease Marina is such a rude woman. Had roaches and laundry rooms suck never working. Dont like to leave bad reviews but this place is so terrible i had to. This place is INFESTED with giant GIANT water bugs and centipedes. Our first night there my husband went to turn on the water, when two huge water bugs crawled out of the drain ! It got to the point that we slept with the lights on. (NO EXAGGERATION!!!!). No matter how spotless I kept the place, there wasnt a day that would go by that we didnt see a centipede or roach. We lived here only a few months before having to break our lease and move out. Also, I constantly heard my neighbors having sex, loud music, no parking, and mold in the bathroom. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
The appartment is okk. The staffs, few of them are good but some of them are rude. I lived there around 11 years, just moved out. Now they dont want to pay back my security deposit, the excuse- they need to change the Refrigerator and stove. More than 12 years equipment, they expect look like new. Basically the management is a BUNCH of THIEFS. I dont recommend any one to rent this place, because the service you getting is HORRIBLE and the RENT you paying way to HIGH.
Yesterday, Manny Morerro, comes into my apartment for maintenance. He starts going around my house, and starts looking like he wants something. The purpose of his visit, was because I have mold on my ceiling. He says that there is nothing there. The green stuff was because the ceiling wasnt cleaned right. Manny morrero is something else. He is so displeasing to see. I hope this place improves.
Please, do not go there. When you sign a lease they make you pay for any single repairs. Also, they increase the rent so drastically every time you renew the lease. Futhermore, the place is full of cucarachas. To add, they had to mandate tenants to evacuate the garages due to leadpaint/or asbestos found inside of them during 2018. Also, the management is aware of the presence of drug dealers, and they just act like Pontius Pilate. STAY AWAY FROM HERE...
I have been living in this complex for 7 years now the quality of living here has gone down the drain the rodent infestation is completely out of hand. management will not return your calls when you ask them to do something laundry rooms are a nightmare / disaster they supposedly put new machines with key cards and still none of them work I do not recommend this property to anyone
OMG I just put a deposit down on one of these apartments and now I’m reading the horror stories. I think I’m going to get my deposit back and find another place to live. I refuse to live in filth and have my issues ignored
Alright people u gotta realize this! When u go apartment searching u gotta look at where the apartments at! See we do not have animal infestations at Crest wood because we clean after our selves! If u do what u got to do around here then its pretty well put but if u attract animals with garbage left outside your door theyre gonna come because basically you are sending an invitation to your apartment. Another thing is if u dont give them time to fix anything then they can not fix it at the expectation u want them too ok. if it is the biggest problem in the world then leave because Im pretty sure u cant find one complex that never in its existence has had a problem! I lived here from 2008 to 2011. It was nice then. We lived in two bed room ground floor apartment. It was larger and well kept. I dont know the condition now ( 2019) , but we enjoyed living there.
Not a well maintained property. Spoke to Jeff Burdick about our issues . He is very arrogant and curt. His assistant Manny is constantly flirting with girl in office and women on property. They should put more effort to repairing this place and less time chasing young ladies.

I’m from the Bronx. So I’m use to the a lot of bad living conditions. I’d rather stay in melrose houses. The goal was to always leave the projects but after seeing my friends apartment and hearing what her neighbors had to say. I think I’ll just stay where I’m at.

Unsafe place to live white the new virus out there they do not sanitize hallways.

2022-01-19Five star reviews are false as usual, I contacted the office the other day, because my complex had no water for 1 hour. I needed to take a bath and wash dishes, but no one picked up the phone. I have called 3 times, why doesn’t anyone answer the phone? This property manager really needs to start caring about tenants, and start addressing concerns right away. I believe the 1 star reviews and not the 5 stars. Also I washed my clothes Saturday, and 2 machines were broken. I might consider moving from this property soon. I can’t take it anymore

2022-03-07Called the office at about 11:30 this morning. No one picked up the phone. I see that one of the machines was leaking water causing the laundromat to fill up with water. How dumb can these people be? It’s such a shame that the manager of this property doesn’t care about issues on this property. Also two dryers were out of order. I ended up having to drive 10 minutes to a quality laundromat to have my clothes washed+dried. The inconvenience on my end because nothing ever gets fixed around in this property. 😒😒

2022-05-24We have been living at Crestwood Lake Apartments for years and have had nothing but good experiences.We just moved from one apartment to another upgraded one.We found apartment looking amazing and spotless,nice and clean hallways of the building .For the last couple years after a change of management they have put in a lot of effort to the exterior making it look beautiful.Theresa and Barry are doing amazing job.They put on events throughout the year.It’s a great way to get out and meet the neighbors.The complex is always well tended to, the office staff is very friendly and we have had prompt response on our service requests.This is truly a complex that cares for its residents !

2022-07-21Living in Crestwood lake apartments like any other has there ups and downs but I am safe in my area and the neighbors in my area have made this community what it is. My children love their home. We take all the opportunity to walk around our neighborhood and play with other children. I know many other parents as well who feel the same way. :0)

2021-12-03I honestly think many of these reviews are fake reviews. I’ve lived here for 3 months so far and to be honest I have never moved into an apartment that had so many problems. It was definitely put together to quickly. That being said the staff worked non stop to address every issue I had and this is after I already signed the lease!!! I took a week off of work and everything I complained about was fixed in that week, so I don’t understand this unprofessionalism with the staff. May of these reviews are taking about Manny seems suspect to me. Everyone who came to my apartment was very respectable and I have hidden cameras and they all do their job and leave they even put booties on not to dirty the carpet.Honestly I come home at 12am sometimes and never had an issue with parking. I even paid for a garage space and now think it was a waste of money. Thank goodness I’ve never seen a mouse but have seen 2 water bugs. If you keep your apt clean you don’t have to worry about these things and pest control comes every week to address any issues.I think it’s unfair that one person with no life can sit and write tons of reviews to chase people away from a place because they have some type of problem. Like I said it’s not a perfect place but it’s not the projects. I’ve had nothing but peace and quiet since I’ve been here!!!

2022-01-31I dont know why they keep saying that these are luxury apartmentsI lived here for quite sometime and it is not the same. Management over here is terrible! When you call you always get the dispatch center, and they never call you back. And they got rid of all the worker that was here that knew what they was doing. The new guys that they have now really dont know what they are doing, they call themselves fixing things and they just make it worse. And lets not talk about how they dont pick up the trash, it can go for two - three days before they pick up, they dont clean the inside of the building like they use The lights has been out in my building by the mailbox box for at least a month and nonone has come to change it.....smhIts terrible!The new so call manager is the worse, sure miss Lenny and the old crew at least they got things done

I have never seen a property manager so inept in all my years living here.1) there are more roaches and mice than tenants.2) we call in work orders for repairs and no one shows up for months.3) this place is run down and hallways are always dirty and smell like urine.4) garbage is not picked up regularly and it attracts mice.Back in 2016 they had a real property manager by the name of beeny.He kept this place spotless.Stay away do yourselves a favor.

2022-05-21Lived here for two years I shoulda stayed in the Bronx it’s just as bad , grass never cut , garbage area I always see raccoons I never go at night , laundry rooms are so dirty smell like urine , takes weeks for work orders to get done and when it is done it’s still broke . I called office in winter about the snow removal I couldn’t get my car out parking lot for two days after a storm.The Lady that is in charge is so snotty ( useless.)I would not recommended anyone living here unless you love roaches the size of Jersey tomatoes living with you .
