I’m from out of state and purchased a boat from CR’s Marine Service. Chris and his team were extremely helpful and responsive. They worked with the shipping company I used and made the entire experience easy and stress free. I would definitely purchase a boat from Chris again!

Made a appointment, had to wait two weeks. Gave details of what we wanted done- also told them that due to my work schedules I would have to drop the boat off after hours. They said that was fine. Called 4 days later to check on the progress of the boat. Was told that they didn’t even look at it. They didn’t even know it was there, didn’t call us- nothing. Guy who answered the phone was rude and nasty and condescending. Avoid them at all cost

Made an appointment for some repairs and upgrades on my boat. CRS MARINE called to say it was ready for pickup. We live about 1 hour & 15 minutes away so left work early to be sure there was enough time to get there before they closed. First mistake was paying the $2300 dollar bill without looking at the boat first. They replaced the shift/ignition console and wires to the motor. They left about 3 feet of wire popping out all over the boat near the motor. They left about 5 feet of old wire hanging out behind the fish finder and all the old wires, paper garbage and the old shifter in the boat. Didnt replace any of the wiring from the trailer back to the taillights which we asked to replace. The taillights still dont work because they never bothered to look or fix them. Extremely disappointed in their work ethics and poor workmanship. They should be embarrased to have a customer leave with a boat looking like that! Never again will we go there.

My review 5/7/21I purchased a new to my from the original owner 1990 searay 200 as a first time boat owner having boats in my family my entire life. I had CR go through the boat completly I had new bellows and all the fixins that follow that type of work. They even fixed a quick ignition situation where I kept losing power at my ignition switch and re set and sealed up my drain plug I thought it was going to be in the shop for at least a week but I got a call 2 days after it was dropped off they went over my needs to make it a reliable boat for the the summer on sacandaga. To my suprise they had my boat completed 1 day after all done and ready for the water. Chris the owner called me to go over my repairs and made sure I knew their work was 100% Guaranteed😁 so glad I took my boat to CR marine so far my experience has been good and reasonably priced for the service work performed.

Chris was nothing short of amazing to deal with while purchasing a new boat. I never felt rushed to make my decision and he was very receptive to all questions and concerns. They didn’t push me to add unnecessary items to the boat I was otherwise convinced I needed. I would recommend them to everyone and when/if I decide to upgrade I will no doubt be going to CR’s Marine.

I brought my boat here to get winterized and to have stored at their indoor storage facility last season. I recently called to tell them Id like to take it out of storage and they had it ready for me when I got there. When I got home I removed the cover and went to connect the battery. When I did I noticed the lower engine compartment was completely filled with water. I called and spoke with Chris and told him about it and he advised me their policy is they dont remove drain plugs and that I should be removing it every time I take it out of the water. I agreed with him maybe so but at the very least they should have noticed that amount of water in there and told me to remove the drain plug myself. And if they didnt notice all that water when they winterized it something got missed. Either way it was a bad enough service experience for me to write this review.

I have been a customer of C & R Marine for over 15 years. In fact my Dad bought a boat there 25 years ago. They are busy so plan accordingly but the service is GREAT.They helped me through some self repair many times. Chris is the most honest person you will ever meet. If you have a good business you will be busy. They have always been honest during all my service needs.

Great local Marine store and parts counter. Staff is always helpful. Sometimes their assistance is brief but you can tell they are busy. I keep going back instead of driving to West Marine or other marinas. I continue to support this local business as it is an asset to boating community. Thanks CR’s

It’s easy for a consumer to be happy and write great reviews when everything goes smoothly and as planned. Buying a new boat, routine service were all happy campers. I took a huge leap of faith and did something most people would call me completely crazy for. I fell in love with a boat on the other side of the country and I bought it. I talked with Chris the owner for months before making the purchase, he always made time for my calls, questions took videos , extra pics and never made me feel rushed or like I was wasting his time. We settled on a price , I had a survey done and I arranged to have the boat shipped 2,575 miles. I made the purchase and had the title a couple days later. Well the fun began once the boat got to my mechanic who specializes in these type of performance boats, let’s say this politely the surveyor was an absolute waste of money. I’ll try to make this short and sweet by saying several issues did arise after a detailed inspection and use over the next 30 days. Chris and I were able to discuss the issues, share info and figure out solutions. It is extremely rare in this day and age to find a business that truly cares about making sure their clients expectations are met or exceeded. If you find yourself working with this business your in good hands. -EE
