Pathetic as far as health care goes their billing system is a joke, 2 or of 3 Drs I see are inept, at best. Worst Healthcare Ive ever experienced...1 1/2 years withour an answer of whats wrong after being there on the average of one a week. Ill be done with this garbage dump soon, then going to someplace that cares about patients. After dealing with this, they escalated to nothing. This place has zero concern about their patients care.
Never had any issues here. Staff is kind and knowledgable and receptionists are friendly and helpful. Most of the time I go in I see a patient or two being abusive towards them, usually about either the Covid check-in policy over the phone (which Ive never had any issues with) or the mask policy. Grow up, people.
Let this be the very last option you have! They are quick to let you book an appointment, fill out all of the paperwork that comes with the sms text messages before the appointment, just to call you 10mins before you enter the building to tell you that your health insurance is not accepted at their facility. They dontt bother to give you any other help besides telling you how much it would be to be seen by a doctor. All about money and no care in the world for the patient.
HOUR wait in urgent care ! Wasn’t even seen . I was told to come inside because I was pregnant and literally was told there was an emergency . I told them okay and had to wait AGAIN . Still not seen! Go to cornerstone . You’ll have better luck there I promise u. They have complete newbies in there . Screw that!
I’ve been down this road before and idk why I thought my experience would be better this time. I didn’t even make it past the lobby. After waiting an hour I was told they do not accept my insurance and that the COVID test is $100 plus to see a doctor was an additional $250. I walked away. Never will I consider crystal run. Idc if I am dying. Take me anywhere else.
World class doctors, 3rd world customer service. My most recent experience was dialing the number the sign told me to, only to wait 100 rings before it just cut off. Dialed another number, the person laughingly told me the number on the sign was wrong. He gave me a number that one one picked up. I finally got out of my car and walked in the lobby. When they asked me for the code I said the code is no one answers your phones I finally got taken care of. Whomever manages customer service deserves to be tranferred to the Ukraine.
Worst patient intake process I have ever experienced. This is my second time here. First time was] in the midst of covid. This time, I left early to see if that helped. It did not. Stuck in the parking lot calling their intake line. Get on a VRU, wait on hold 5 minutes. Rings for another 3 minutes, then hangs up. Never again...
I will never get the hours of my life I’ve spent sitting in urgent care, on hold waiting to talk to someone, or in an exam room unattended to. And I wish I could say that my grievances end with long wait times, but that would be a lie. Their healthcare services are garbage. Doctors hardly even look at me, perform physicals, or explain anything thoroughly or give chances to ask questions. Expect a grueling 2-3 hour (minimum) waiting process followed by a face to face time with the MD of under five minutes. Also expect said MD to carry themselves as if the 3 minutes they’ve spent on you wasn’t worth their time. It’s truly not a mystery to me why so many Americans do not trust doctors or medical science, when the disconnect from doctor to patient is so staggeringly wide.
Absolutely awful experience today for a routine appointment. Waited over an hour in my car for a 9am appointment. Finally inside the doctors room after an hour and a half I am told there was two other people ahead of me. How are you this behind schedule when I thought I had a first of the day appointment?!? After complaining and asking to reschedule I was met with two nurses who were loud , angry and just rude. Finally ended up speaking to the director of operating to reschedule who told me they had no time slots without hours of waiting available. Once I finish out this routine appointment I will find a new doctor for next year. They clearly have no respect for their patients time. They are doing nothing to improve wait times and expect people to waste a half of a day going for a routine appointment. I think the whole place needs customer service training and an overhaul of scheduling procedures.
Drs are fine. But getting through to get your flipping access code is a joke. It just rings and rings andI dont mean a course I mean a semester. Not good. Trings. Half the time you get disconnected. THEN the wonderful experience of dealing with the wonderful experience of security (guess that is what you call the folks at the front door)So, so pleasant, Not. And then of course registerings is such a joy they should be sent to an academy on customer service.
I am so sick of this place. My doctors are fantastic but the receptionists have been rude time and time again. Yesterday I left work early feeling sick and now I need a covid test to go back to work. This facility opens at 8 am. I called at 8:04 and was told that they were not taking any more people for covid testing. This is ridiculous. How can you be full four minutes after opening? The point of urgent care is to be seen when something comes up and you couldnt make an appointment. I understand these are crazy times but the whole situation would be that much less frustrating if the people on the phone werent so RUDE. Im ready to find a new doctor. This happens all the time.
I went there yesterday to be seen in urgent care. What a dam nightmare. Every dam thing isnt covid. They wanted me to have a Tele health app then wait a hour for a covid test then wait 2 hours for the results to be read before I could even see a person. I took a covid test at home and brought the test with me. I wont be going back to Crystal Run again. Its sad because I have a nice doctor there. Just wont go through this everything to see a doctor. I left and went to a local urgent care and was seen no problem without being put through all of this. People are dying from not being able to take care of there health Not everything is covid. I a? Fully vaccinated but wont be getting anymore of these shots I had side effects too. Its time to get back to normal Crystal run. Stop all these covid tactics. Covid is here to stay people need health care. Get it together
That was my last time having any experience with this unreliable, and unprofessional place. I scheduled an appointment to get psychical for my new job. One of the requirements was Blood Drug Test. They drew my blood and explained that next week I will have my result. Next week they did not have my results and explained “we did not draw enough blood” I have feeling they simple forgot to send blood to the lab otherwise why they didn’t call me the next day or two to come to draw my blood. So the next week they drew my blood again and Charge Nurse promised to email me results within 2-3 days. I explained to her that it was crucial for me since within 4 days was my deadline for all papers. I never received any notification from her or anybody else. I had to call them multiple times requesting to call me back. I spoke to facility supervisor and even escalate this issue to Deputy Director in order to get my drug result. I had to explain to my new employer why I didn’t upload my test result on time. I spent hours of my time to call them as well as physically go there. It was very frustrating experience. Before making an appointment there, THINK TWOCE !!!
The situation today in Crystal Run Urgent care and entire facility is so uncalled for and unprofessional. They were denying customers to be seen at Urgent unless they were Covid tested. We stated that we were and had proof that it was done! They continued to deny medical attention unless you were tested there. This has become a ridiculous situation of nickel and dime and how to gain money from this situation. The employees inside were complaining themselves how poorly it was being handled and stated that yesterday was even worse. There were at least 30 cars waiting to be tested wrapping out all over until the entrance to parking lot. Leaving a customer outside in a car for hours, locking up and closing with a patient outside. His name was put down on a list, we called again and he entered as well. Being sent outside two times. He was retested after he was already tested and was negative again! Still not being seen until we called back again! The call center said to go inside! Which he did two times!! Finally, a dr magically appears after he went inside for a third time. Chaos isn’t the word to describe what occurred there. Awful service.
Doctor visits are never pleasant but this place once you get there is organized. Getting an appt. is another story but they do have an emergency center. Reaching some doctors is a stretch, they have a patient portal but some do not use it. The doctors here have one direct specialization, they dont multi treat symptoms. Each doctor does one specialty.
The doctors at Crystal Run are really great and switched on, BUT the administration and reception side is disorganized chaos! Have never got in or seen a doctor on time! They also refused to see my friends 21 day old baby, because he had a cold and they were worried about Covid!! Get your priorities right!!
Horrible the customer service is absolutely unprofessional mad rude, not once but twice now have sat there for almost 2 hours just to get a simple piece of paper signed off by a doctor mind you i had an appointment made months ago for this one simple thing!.. if you don’t have insurance that’s even more of a joke they treat you like you don’t matter the lack of communication that goes on and that place is absolutely ridiculous as professionals it should definitely be more professional than what it is it’s very unfortunate for the people that have no choice but to go here I would not recommend this place to anybody absolutely disgusting I will never be going here again 🖕🏼
Horrible and unprofessional customer representatives (both in person and over the phone). Regardless of how nice you are to them, they’re always irritated. They speak over you and don’t listen to the patients’ needs. When they’re not in the mood to help, they make excuses and lie about unnecessary things, just so they can you off the phone.
Dont bother coming here. You wont even get past the door. They will give you a number to call, but all it will do is give you a message, and just hang up on you. Tried for almost an hour sitting in the parking lot, and still nothing. Its not even like the parking lots full.So much for being Urgent Care
Had an appointment today, and I was about 10 minutes early. The lady at the front entrance was VERY rude, unprofessional and not helpful. She asked me if I got a phone call , that would give me a number and dictate where I would go. I said no, and I told her I had an appointment. She didn’t say anything to me and then skipped to the other side of the plexiglass barrier, and starting talking to the people behind me. She didn’t offer to help me or anything. I know that the Crystal Run HR office has people reading and addressing these reviews . Just note that whoever was working on Wednesday, November 17 at 5:38 PM is a disgusting employee and you really need to talk to that witch with a ‘b’.
Forget it, Ive had nothing but problems with Crystal Run in Newburgh. Its either a billing problem or just even getting seen at urgent care... called 4 times to just get hung up on. I go in, and the lady tells me on the sign outside it says to talk to telehealth first before coming in..... no it doesnt at least its not an obvious sign. Cant even go to urgent care for a sore throat anymore.. without 10 obstacles.
One of the worst experiences of my life!! If I could rate this 0 stars I would!!!! I had my daughter in 2020 and that was hard to begin with. I couldn’t have anyone come with me to my appointments and no visitors at the hospital. You would think the drs would be extra nice… nope! Dr Cestari was my dr to begin with. He was so rude to me every appointment and would say my baby was going to be small and unhealthy which was not the case at all. He always disagreed with everything I said and didn’t take me seriously. So then I switched to Dobuzinsky which she was amazing when I had my daughter, but after I had my daughter for a follow up she was not nice at all!! I will never go here again!
Im not sure why I was even able to schedule an appointment with a doctor for an exam they do not perform, but thats what happened! I made my appointment weeks in advance and checked in the day before, but no one caught this mistake until I had already taken time off work and arrived for my appointment. I was told that no one could see me for this exam for a month despite this error not being my fault. When I said that I really needed to see someone ASAP because I was about to run out of my medication, no effort was made to help me see someone else sooner and get a refill. Also, due to covid restrictions, I was given this news over the phone while I was already sitting in the waiting room and had already paid my copay. Couldnt have been less personal, and the person I spoke to seemed like they couldnt care less that this error was going to cause a gap in my medication. I would give zero stars if I could!
I am feeling very disappointed with the way the physicians provide care here. In 2011, my emergency OBGYN almost killed me by prescribing me oxycodone, and percocet post OP C-section. My first reaction was immediately after surgery, when I felt my spirit drop to the floor, because I had been overdosed with pain medications. I was scratching like a heroine addict and having trouble breathing after taking the meds. I learned about this 5 years later when i reviewed my medical record what those meds were and that they administered Naloxone to counter the effects of the overdose of medication. After surgery you are in no shape to advocate for yourself, so basically I was at their mercy. You would think this was a red flag to my providing OBGYN, who by the way never discussed this incident with me. He simply asked me whether I was allergic to ibuprophen. Being a fibromyalgia sufferer, I said no. I had no idea what acetomenophine with codeine was. I had no reason to believe I had any allergies since I had a C-section with my son and had no problems then. He sent me home after 4 days in the Hospital with the same medications, and 3 days home I suffered anaphylaxis requiring an additional 4 day ICU stay. I almost didnt survive because my provider missed the symptoms and neglected to tell me what had happened to me after surgery.Only one nurse providing my care in the hospital after birth noticed my response to the medication was not normal. She tried to tell me but, I was in so much pain from the surgery and adverse reactions i was having from the meds to notice she was looking out for me.This physician is still practicing at Crystal Run, so my advice to you folks is be careful. Ask questions about medications and treatments, because these folks are not GODS.
Im a patient here and today I needed to be seen by my primary physician but she had no opening so I requested to see one of colleagues who also had no opening came to urgent called the phone number it says to call I called about 3/4 times got No one so I called the main phone and got hung up on had to sit and what for the operation manager who by the way was helpful but Im really thinking of finding another dr the lack of compassion and empathy for the Patients is a big problem for me.
I got pregnant, had my pregnancy confirmation on June 16, 2021. I found out I was 7 weeks and 3 days when I went for my ultrasound on June 23rd, somewhere else. Yes I went to HVI for my ultrasound because my OB couldn’t get me in until wks later (from what I remember the conversation was) - I had to go 7 freaking wks, this past Monday, the 9th of August I found out my baby had NO heartbeat. I was 14w&1 day. The doctor I saw, “Dr. Cohn” was HORRIBLE. After telling me there was no heartbeat she didn’t show me any support… I couldn’t see her face due to the mask. She began rushing through the appointment I feel with the basis she has to cover. This was my first pregnancy, and I didn’t have anyone there to comfort me because all had to work. It’s absolutely ridiculous as to how Crystal Run treated me this past week. I have to do everything natural, no medicine to help start the process & no surgery to make sure my body doesn’t get sick. If you have a doctor that you can ACTUALLY trust & you know they’ll pull you in when you’re in an emergency, I would find a new facility to go to.
It’s upsetting to have to leave this negative review, myself as a patient have experienced good things here, but unfortunately I can not say the same for my mother. Crystal Run was not sending medical records to my mothers disability insurance, which led to my mothers health insurance to be terminated. The lack of concern for her case as well is disappointing. At this point I’m fearing the downfall of her overall mental and health. Where do I go for help with her case?
The doctor screwed up a prescription to the pharmacy and it has been 3 weeks and the issue was never resolved. Horrible customer service from the doctor and the people who answer the prescription service. Called to file a complaint and was given an email for their excellence director who never replied to my concerns. If you value your health, never go here. Otherwise you may wait for your scripts to be filled also.
This has got to be the worst experience I have ever had with an office.First I go and see Dr. Tracy Williams (who is great by the way) and end up with several referrals for consults. Than I go to these appointments (one with pulmonary and one with neuro) and get scripts for test.I go to the pulmonary Dr. Subbiah, Who gives me orders for a PFT and a sleep study. First I had to argue with the most unfriendly nurse Ann, from his staff, To even get the test set up (it took weeks for the PFT and MONTHS for the sleep study). I schedule the PFT but had to reschedule it because of a family emergency again it took almost a month to get someone to reschedule it.Than I needed Dr. Subbiah to refill my spiriva respimat which needed an authorization for the insurance company to cover it. He than neglects the paperwork and sends in a script for a medication I had already been on and told him didnt work when we did the consult. I couldnt even get a hold of him or his staff to rectify it so poor Dr. Williams had to straighten it out for me.After the initial consults were done I than needed my physical which is covered under my insurance. Crystal Run bills them on the 5th of april and the insurance company pays the bill on the 15th also of april. Now in June I get a bill for $600 dollars so I call billing department. Who tells me that preventative appointments and I should be informed about what my insurance does and doesnt cover BEFORE making appointments, and that I need to call the insurance company get educated about my coverage. This was the supervisor no less, her name is Charlotte. I even hung up on her because she was starting to piss me off AND SHE CALLS ME BACK and tries to tell me they did a 1 time courtesy adjustment so I owe nothing. In the meantime she called back when I was on the phone with the insurance company and they had just told me they paid the bill. So now I was beyond livid.Overall this facility needs some serious work with how they treat patients. It is bad enough I have to deal with my health concerns, I dont need to be aggravated to death by their incompetence. I will be finding another DR and I have filed a complaint with the insurance company OSCARCARE.
This has been one of the best Urgent care visits Ive have ever had. Brought my 2yo daughter for an eye issue that just popped up. On arrival, the line to check in was out the door, with about 10 people ahead of us. Surprisingly, the staff made quick work of the line and we were checked in within 5 minutes. The entire staff was efficient and super friendly. The Manager showed my daughter their pumpkin contest and the nurse brought us in within another 5 minutes. She was checked out and seen by a PA quickly. The whole time everyone continued to engage and compliment her. It was the most comfortable Id ever seen her at a doctors office. We were diagnosed and on our way quickly, and on the way out the Manager gave my daughter a coloring book and some crayons. The pure joy of the experience put my otherwise restless 2yo at ease and she wont stop talking about her visit. A lot can be said for the human/emotional side of a visit. Too often are patients processed through an unwelcoming system that leaves them feeling worse than when they arrived. Today you proved that you care about your patients and made my daughter comfortable to go to the doctor. Thank you so much.
It is upsetting to have to leave this review, but maybe it will spark some changes. I was scheduled for a telehealth meeting with Dr. Tracy Williams today and after waiting for 30 minutes she still had not started the call.I then tried calling Crystal Run and after literally over 100 rings someone picked up the phone. After stating the reason for my call I was put on hold for another 10 minutes. When the operator returned he told me that she had an emergency and I would be contacted shortly. When I asked why no one had texted me to.let me know he rudely stated that it was not his control and hung up on me. The level of frustration is intense. I am seriously considering changing heslthcare centers.
I had an online appointment through Zocdoc with Dr. Sebastian Demarco. The doctor only spent 10minute and prescribed me an annual prescription that cost over $100 and, my insurance didnt cover any of it. He didnt communicate how much the medicine would cost during the appointment. I ended up not getting the prescription because I couldnt afford it. It was disappointing since I had to go to another doctor to resolve my skin problem.
No complaints about the doctors I dealt with, they were all good.Dealing with the administrative staff and bureaucracy is a nightmare.I had a simple request to obtain copies of my lab blood results. When I called, the wait on hold was almost 20 minutes. When a person answered, I was transferred to another recorded message saying to go to the web site , download a form , fill it out, and fax it in. Theyll get back to you in 10 business days, in other words, two weeks. And they charge 75 cents a page for test results youve already paid for.Do yourself a favor and try to find a more caring and responsive medical provider,
PLEASE NEVER GO HERE!!! Staff is incompetent. My sister, who is diabetic, was waiting for paperwork so long she had an episode. When I went to try and get her food, security was quickly called.During the beginning of the COVID outbreak my mother, who is a cancer patient, was not allowed inside the building. Instead she was given an injection in the parking lot. This place absolutely outrageous!
My experience with Dr. S was bad. Crystal Run office staff always seem confused. They couldnt answer basic questions regarding my office visit. Its as if they are given minimal information on how to operate an office. Also, my visit with the Dr. was kept very brief. The entire interaction lasted for about 5 mins. She didnt spend a lot of time addressing my concerns.
My experience went like this... Arrived, promptly checked in, waited 10 minutes to be seen. PA Karen Kayles and all of the Nurses were super professional and courteous. Out the door in 45 minutes. I was given medication to help with my symptoms while there and scripts for an antibiotic and nasal spray were ready for pickup at my Pharmacy directly thereafter. Started feeling better the same day. There are no negatives I can think of. This place is great! 5 stars all the way.
I was happy after last years visit which was my first. I discovered by mistake several months later that this office had billed for an annual physical when I went in for a routine gynecology visit. When I went to my regular doctor that does a real annual physical, my insurance denies the claim as I already had one. This is crazy because checking blood pressure and having a gynecology exam and pap smear does not constitute an annual physical. After several phone calls to my regular doctor and insurance company, the situation was corrected and the claims were reprocessed as they should have been.I checked in for my visit today and used the automated system but was assisted by a friendly clerk. I should have realized when I was not asked for my required copay that the same situation may be occurring again. During my visit for a routine annual gynecology exam, I am informed by the DOCTOR that most insurance companies are not paying for pap smears yearly and if I have one, I may be billed. It is fine to make a general statement but you had best be sure if you say it to me that you are correct and that my insurance does not cover it. It is also my responsibility to know my own insurance plan and what it does and does not cover. I was unsure in this situation so I chose to go with her advice.I also made it my business to speak with an insurance person before leaving to ensure my insurance company would not be billed for a full physical when one was not given. The billing person I had waited to see was finishing a phone call and made a very unprofessional comment to the person she was speaking with knowing I was sitting right next to her. WOW.I should not have to go out of my way to ensure that your practice bills for the correct services and ask you to collect my copay. After leaving the office, I was concerned enough to know whether or not a yearly pap smear was covered to call my insurance company. Low and behold I am covered for a yearly pap smear and now I have not had one.By this point, I am livid. How dare you not provide the correct services when I take time out of my busy schedule and have to wait a month for an appointment!!!!Shame on you Crystal Run and you have now shown me that I need a new gynecologist!!
What can I say, Ill sum it up like this... Went to the urgent Care, waited a whopping 10 seconds to be seen. Doctors and staff were super professional and courteous. Out the door in about half hour. Got my medication, felt better the same day. Theres no negatives I can even think of. This place is great! 5 stars all the way.
Please safe yourself the trip!!!!! After my third time returning, still not being able to even walk into the building, they FINALLY informed me that I could be seen and use my insurance ONLY IF MY PCP WAS A DR WHO WORKED THERE. Keep in mind Ive been on the phone with these unhelpful people MORE THAN ONCE. Asking insurance questions and simply attempting to make sure I had all my ducks in a row before I showed up and NOT ONCE was I informed that even tho yes they do take my insurance, that Id still have to pay out of pocket because my PCP on my insurance card didnt match up. The ENORMOUS lack of knowledge and experience of the multiple employees I spoke with is absolutely unbelievable. Not to mention I waited on hold for over an hour to check in on my second visit for the calls to keep disconnecting after 12 minutes, forcing me to call again and be placed right in the back of the line all over again. I was never even checked in, and I never got ahold of anyone. Oh and if you mistakenly walk in like I did on my first visit, because an employee on the phone told me that there WERE NO PROCEDURES IN PLACE FOR COVID 19 (there are!!!) and that the facility was taking all walk ins(they are not!!!), please fully expect whoever is checking codes at the front door to be unnecessarily rude to you as well. The walk in system is TERRIBLE. The employees have no training when it comes to actually explaining their specific urgent care procedure to patients either. Especially because this place isnt run like an urgent care at all. Its run like a family clinic. And you can only walk in if you are seeing your PCP. Ive been to many urgent care clinics and never once had this much cat and mouse hassle in my life. This place IS NOT an urgent care. And although I do have the option to change my PCP and be seen at this location, I think Id rather just take my chances at the hospital. It would probably be faster and the staff is probably much more pleasant and educated. Youd think that as a person coming for help, they might even actually attempt be helpful, but unfortunately that is not the case.
The staff was great, I needed an X-ray and results. The down side, I was on hold 10 minutes waiting to check in and it took an hour and a half to get the X-ray taken and the results. There was a lot of laughing going on while I sat there and waited for who knows what.
I have put up with the least useful, least accessible appointment and check in system for several years but no more. I had an appt and arrived 15 minutes early and called from the car to check in, as is required. The call would not go through. After 20 minutes of continuously redialing I went to the door and when I explained that I could not check in, she said to go back and keep trying since they only had 4 people answering the phone. 15 minutes later I gave up and left. I tried to call the general appointment number and, AS ALWAYS, no patient rep. was available. Their system is now and has always been the worst. I will be finding other doctors.
Tells me I have no insurance but I do. Then sends my information illegally to an insurance company I no longer use. Then sends me a large bill saying I have to pay it by Christmas. Spoke to someone about making sure they have the correct information. Was told they would take care of it but never changed anything. The doctors and nurses are very good though.
Dr. Ton, an endocrinologist, was amazing! He speaks to you directly and makes sure you understand everything he is saying. By far the best doctor encounter I have ever had. The facility is great as well, very clean and barely any waiting time. Overall, I had a great experience.
I have taken my mom here for several appointments and I am thoroughly impressed with how they run their show. Very prompt and the staff is just the best. We always encountered very helpful and courteous people from the check-in folks to the nursing staff to the doctors. Seems like a wonderful place to me and my mom. No complaints at all.
Be careful. They booked a Telehealth follow up appointment during my annual physical. Now They claim it was a separate appointment, though I was Only there to get my test result. They charged me $175.17 To get my test results. This was wrong. Be careful because this was dishonest and deceptive.
This is a clean, efficient, medical care facility that I have used for a variety of minor medical situations. If I have something acute, I go to a hospital E.R., my reasoning being since hospitals have so many diagnosticians and equipment and under one roof, I have a access to a lot of rich expertise. If I have something not requiring immediate diagnostics, I go to my internist and other specialists. But for a quick visit to an urgent care type facility, this place has served me well.Staff is polite, physicians have been competent in my experience (your experience and needs may vary) and the facility is convenient and very pleasant. While I have only used this as an urgent care, primary care physicians are in the upstairs area, as well.
If your looking for a personal experience and like to have direct contact with your doctors office when ever you call this is not the place for you. Very rushed and only have a call center to Anwser the phones. Good luck getting in touch with your doctor. Also if it’s an emergency it usually takes 24-48 hrs for a response from the main office.
My MANY experiences at Crystal Run have ALL been fantastic. The staff is friendly, doctors have a phenomenal bedside manner and spend as much time with you as you need, even when it is extremely busy, the line moves fast and there is always someone there to guide you. Shout out to the urgent care staff and my PCP Dr. Tracey Williams!
I went To urgent care in Newburgh on Sunday, July 8. From start to finish the care I received was excellent.Julia did The intake, Corinne Was the nurse practitioner and Christin gave me a shot. All three were kind a professional and talk to me in a very courteous manner. Additionally they listened to what I had to say. They are attributes to this facility. Thank you
Beware of this corporate doctors office. I have been a patient here and the experience has been anything but positive. My physician is never available and my appointments are constantly being changed or cancelled. They send the wrong prescriptions to my pharmacy or completely forget. This place is horrible 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
My appt was scheduled for 8:45. I arrived at the Newburgh facility at 8:33 and called to check in per the directions of the text. I waited almost 20 minutes on hold and then the phone started to ring for about 4 minutes and then hung up. I called back and after another almost 10 minutes on hold I went up and told the door girl that no one picked up and I was now almost 20 minutes late for my appt. She allowed me into the building. I am not sure what’s going on with this system, but I got the feeling that everyone was having the same experience this day.
The staff at the Newburgh location were not capable of putting in a prescription for a simple x-ray. They said it would take 5min.25min later they had to get help for this complicated task. Another 10 min in a back room and someone was able to finally figure it out. When will Crystal Run figure out how to train their employees? Avoidtheir radiology services if you can.
I absolutely love my Physician. The best patient care by Dr.Dobuzinsky. The office is another story, My employer requires documents doctors noted etc. Faxed to the job. Crystal Run refused stating they dont fax doctors notes. Most doctors offices have no problem with this.
Just awful! Ive been going to my OB for years but now that shes moved to crystal run she has no clue who I am, doesnt listen, rushes. We are all just numbers to them now. Its like a meat factory. Today I had the first appointment with another doctor and am still currently waiting. Also never go in telling them what you think is wrong with you. Let them figure it out and work. Ive realized that 100% of the time when I say what I think is wrong they just agree with me and dont look into it or do any further tests. Last I checked I wasnt a doctor. Good luck to you if you go here and have serious problems!
I am unfamiliar with this area and choose the Newburgh location because of the positive reviews. I was extremely happy with the very clean facility, incredibly kind and helpful staff and also the excellent care rendered by the doctor. They were terribly busy but handled the work load in a very organized, professional manner. I highly recommend this facility.
Dr wael fakhoury best primary doctor there , I highly recommend him for anyone who don’t like doctor because after you visit dr fakhoury you will like to visit doctors , doc fakhoury he’s so kind and he give u enough time to ask anything u want without rush,he don’t treat u as patient he treat u as one of his family .
The medical staff is very efficient, professional and upbeat. The examining tables are too hard to lay or sit on, that if youre not in pain, you will be. If you are in pain, rest assured it will get worse. The nurses did accommodate me by taking me to an area that had comfortable recliners. The facility was so cold that 3 blankets and 2 winter coats did nothing to get me warm. The facility was very clean and organized.
Good luck trying to reach anyone via phone. Its menu after menu after menu, and when you FINALLY get to a real person, they like to play a game of ping pong with you where they will redirect you to a different department, (Which results in more menus) and then that department will then redirect you right back to the first department again, and after ALL that, once theyre done with their little games, when you finally manage to keep someone on the line and not get transferred to a different department, you will get an annoyed customer service rep, who will let you know that theyre annoyed at you for wasting their time. Have fun with that.
Very bad place due to terrible management. I love my doctor and followed him wherever he practices. But my doctor was pushed by the leadership to see as many patients as possible. Therefore my doctor is under a lot of pressure. I know he is trying his best to take care of his patients but the leadership made it very difficult. The leadership makes millions of dollars out of the doctors and nurses who work for Crystal Run and focus on how many patients are seen but not quality of care. I know the staff are underpaid because my best friend just left Crystal Run and she said all the staff are not happy and they report each other all the time as revenge. She left because she was tired of the bad environment and low payment.I am not happy with the services because I am not able to get even a call back from my doctor. But I know my doctor was not like this before he joined Crystal Run. The leadership push him to see too many patients and he has no time to return patients’ calls. I saw so many negative comments about crystal Run and the cause is mainly the leadership and the system. I saw some positive feedback but that’s because you are lucky on that day to have a good doctor and good nurse. The system is not right and it will get worse if the management does not change.I hope Crystal Run can realize this and change. I hope patients can get what they deserve in medical care.
I went into Urgent Care on a Friday at 6pm because of an abcess behind my ear was throbing and hurting a bit. I asked for antibiotics and was denied but I was offered pain killers. I DECLINED THE PAIN KILLERS ... SHM ... Doctors need to learn how to listen to their patients because they know their bodies better than anyone. Im already looking for a private doctors office ... Crystal Run is a scam
8 attempts to draw blood. Ninth attempt successful. EKG had to be done twice. Indifferent health care (PA?) topped off this fiasco. Im 61 years old and without a doubt this was the worst experience medically Ive ever put myself through. Nightmare on a weekend. Im guessing all the good personnel were off. ....gave it one star, thats generous.
The nurse who took care of me was very nice and attentive but the doctor was the complete opposite. In my charts it says I’m allergic to penicillin and then he asked me what my allergies are and I said penicillin then two seconds later he says he’s going to prescribe me Amoxicillin. Good thing I know that they’re both the same because not everybody does and that Dr. could’ve killed me! I said to him isn’t amoxicillin the same as penicillin and he said yes why? And I told him because I just told you two seconds ago I’m allergic to penicillin! Then I tell him I’m breast-feeding so it has to be safe for breast-feeding mothers. He gave me the biggest attitude and I’m not sure why doctors don’t know an antibiotic that is safe for breast-feeding he had to Google it! Meanwhile at Emergency One in New Windsor they know exactly what to give me with no problems.
If I could give them a minus I would. Hudson Valley Imaging faxed biopsy results to Crystal Run yesterday. I waited for a call. Finally I called and was told someone would get back to me. Late afternoon I was told that their fax phone lines were down and so they didnt have the results. I called several times and was told the Dr. had left and wouldnt be in today. I called today to see if someone could please tell me the results. Nothing. Finally I had Hudson Valley Imaging fax to a Dr. in another practice. She called within a hour. Still havent heard from Crystal Run. No excuse for this...poor patient care.
I called 8 times in one week and spoke 12 different people just to see if they got an authorization from my insurance for a CT scan. I never received a call back and had to reschedule my CT scan. I just called again with the same story of I cant get in touch with anybody, but I will send this through high priority right now for someone to call you back. I guess Im rescheduling the second appointment too. This is not the only time Ive called for something simple with no response. I will never go back.
OBGYN the worst. Insurances covers yearly check up but they double bill everytime. One bill to the insurance company for the yearly check up one bill to the insurance company for an office visit with a $25.00 copay. 3 years in a row. They said because the doctor asked me questions and I answered, it was now an office visit also. Did the same thing to my mom and my daughter. Done with crystal run.
Theres always at least a month lead time between wanting an appointment and getting one, not to mention waiting on hold for 30 mins to talk to someone to make that appointment . Very difficult to get appointments when needed. Doctors dont care about you and just want to get you in and out. I thought it would be convenient to have all my Doctors in one facility, i was wrong. Theres no communication from one doctor to the next, I have to constantly inform them of what should be in my file.
When you have a 4:15 appointment and have stuff to do afterwards good luck with your plans because they don’t send you in until an hour later. Then it takes the doctor an additional 1/2 hour to see you. But god forbid I’m late to my appointment or miss it they freak out!
The facilities are clean and the doctors and nurses are generally nice. The wait is usually long but that is expected. FORGET about follow up, getting test results back or getting any one to talk to you on the phone. I cannot stand this place. Their phone system is absolute garbage. I wish they cared about their customers. I mean patients.
Absolutely horrible place to go. They try and compare themselves to an ER. They are not even close. My son had an medical emergency with his eye. Had us sitting there for 20 minutes and then proceeded to call in someone ahead of us who came in 10 minutes after us with absolutely no apparent medical emergency at all. Never ever will i trust them again. Beware you have been warned if you have a medical emergency go to the ER not this joke of a place.
Love my childrens pediatrician Dr. Abida Mallick, but absolutely HATE the Urgent Care department!! This is the 2nd God damn time they have misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed one of my children!! My oldest son and my daughter were both seen on Saturday 4/6/2019 for running fevers from 102.5-103°+. They swabbed both for Strep, but neglected to swab them for Flu and diagnosed them both with double ear infections. When my daughter continued to spike fevers of 103.8° even after amoxicillin, I made an actual appointment for her today 4/9/2019 with a doctor instead of the Urgent Care again. Well that doctor cared enough to swab her for the Flu. POSITIVE!! And past the time where Tamiflu wouldve been effective. That is the last damn time I will entrust my childrens health to the incompetence of Crystal Run Urgent Care!!!
Very unorganized staff. I have to take sick days for my monthly infusions. I get the same medication every month at the same time and they still dont remember to call in to the specialty pharmacy. I check with the pharmacy 2-3 times a month to check myself. Twice I have taken sick days just to be told that they are cancelling my appointment that day. It is always too late to get my sick day back.
As someone who has a fair amount of exxperience with medical visits in the last two years I can say with absolute assurity that Dr. Katherine Kim is the most professional, personable, knowledgable & PRESENT specialist Ive ever had the good fortune of being treated by.When I leave my visits with her I dont get in the car wishing Id remembered to ask something in particular because I feel rushed.LIke most I was fearful of having my first colonoscopy, but with no exaggeration I can say that it was painless, barely uncomfortable & I opted to be awake vs anesthesia.Dr. Kim talked to me every step of the way, explaining in detail what she was seeing & doing; talk about a teachable moment:))I would be remiss to not to mention Dr. Kims Registered Nurse Maureen Rose & Surgical Technician Nickie Hultslander, both of whom made the experience, dare I say fun?All three of them manage to be professional to a fault, yet with genuine warmth & great senses of humor.Never could I have imagined having a colonoscopy & giggling at the same time.If you are weary of medical visits where you feel so rushed that you leave without questions answered, are left to feel like a number & are fearful of the colonscopy procedure; I reccomend that you see Dr. Kim & her crack staff.I wish Id gotten the name of the nurse who admitted me that morning becuae she played a part in calming my nerves as well. The only thing that could be improved is the initial sign process at the front desk lobby. When you arrive there is a long line. There should be a line specifically for procedure sign in as well as one for first timers who have 2 to 3 pages of paperwork to sign. There are kiosk, but not for those getting procedures where your arrival time is critical.Regarding the people who sign you in; I understand that they are trying to get everyone in quickly, but wonder if there is a morale issue because there are some dour faces awaiting you at that front desk! There is room to the right of the lobby to have another person checking innew people who are filling out paperwork so that others who are there for regular doctor visits & procedures. If you are seeking a Gastroenterologist, putting off a colonoscopy, & long to see a doctor who is passionate about medicine & expresses genuine interest in their patients, check out Dr. Katherine Kim, shes the real deal.
DO NOT use if you are looking for URGENT CARE and have Tricare. Regardless if there is a giant red URGENT CARE sign out front. They run all visits as office visit and will not change them to URGENT CARE visit for billing - in which case Tricare will not cover the charge. The billing department is worthless. They just want their money. Not helpful and we will not use them or recommend them to anyone.
1 star because one of their doctors did his best for his patient. Crystal run group SHOULD REMODEL THE SYSTEM AND TRAIN THEIR TEAMS to FOCUS ON PATIENT MORE NOT only on the building. Please, come out from there.(to few doctors working really hard AS A DOCTOR). IS HERE REALLY THE HEALTHCARE CENTER FOR PATIENTS? I trusted the reviews about one of their GYN, Dr.D, but I cant tell if Im on her patients list. Once you leave a message for the call back, it takes forever(even with urgent matter)to get it besides one doctor at there. NEVER ANSWER/NEVER CALL BACK ON TIME! Have to wait at least 5 minutes on hold even after menu to menu. GYN office dont answers ofrten when an assistant at the front desk on the first floor call them(to their second floor). Ive never seen this type of terrible system. I left the message through the lab to know my results. They supposed to call back for their patient by next day(as they said,)to let the patient know what to do for the next step. Its been 4th day.. I called them today, and a lady working in GYN office said so firm, They are busywith NO APOLOGIZE.And when I finally got the call back, a nurse said We took care for more urgent patients. What a nice to say..They force to all other patients understand them. NO ONE CARES or no one apologized. NO BODY try to take any responsible for any late calls or no calls to their patients..
This review is not of the Crystal Run facility, it is of the specific provider that I saw.I came in today, because I believe I have pink eye. My 4 y.o. niece whom has pink eye accidentally poked me in my eye. I woke up with some crust and discharge in my left eye. Not a lot but enough to know it was an issue. I go to CR, and see physicians assistant Karyn Kaytes. Karen did not feel as though I had pink eye, because my eye was not swollen, even though she acknowledged that it was a little red. She believed I had blepharitis, even though while at the office I had a discharge in my eye. She believed it was a coincidence that my niece had pink eye and my eye was bothering me. When I commented that if I had to come back in a few days because my eye will inevitably get worse, she said that would be a coincidence. If my eye is bothering me today and in a few days I end up with pink eye, wouldnt that mean that TODAY I have pink eye?It wasnt until I stated that I did not care to go to urgent care type of facilities, because of the lack of treatment, that she decided she was going to write me a prescrition, in case I needed it.So I sit here, at 11pm, with a very red eye, that is constantly dripping, annoyed that if I didnt get the RX for the eye drops, I would have had to take a day off work tomorrow to make another trip (and pay another co-pay).This woman Karyn Kaytes needs to take a sensitivity class or 2, and learn how to listen to AND believe her patients. She acted as if I was asking for Class 2 drugs, when I said I wanted eye drops. Smh.
I went there twice in the past 2yrs.1st time I went there I was waiting 2hrs to be seen then I couldnt get my prescription at the drug store ..I called them for days and only 1 person called back and still messed up got my meds a wk later ..2nd time I went just this wk I had no choice cause of my ins ..I didnt wait that long but the line to cheak in is always so long ..but tried to tell them to please give something that will work to make me feel better and just got the same meds that dont work on me ..so Im sure by tomorrow or Friday I will be taking a trip to the er.maybe they will give me a cheats xray ..the doc was nice thow but they need to listen more to the patients
Good luck if you are trying to transfer your medical record to some other office. The way they treat confidentiality reaches an absurd level. It took them 3 weeks from my first attempt of sending the request for release until the documents have been actually mailed! Really inconvenient, especially if you are expecting. BTW, they just closed the office in Milton, so I lost my primary care and my ob altogether.
This has by far been the worst place Ive ever dealt with. Everyone over the phone is a complete untrained idiot with zero knowledge or answers and major attitude problems, Annemarie and Sabrina in particular. Extremely unprofessional disrespectful and far from helpful. Would never recommend anyone go here.
The Dr is excellent! But the Staff need training. You call and they ask so many questions just transferred over the nurse. Is ok to ask but they repit their self many time over before you will be transferred. You get transferred and they keep you waiting online until you get tired and just give up.Terrible way of doing business.
In the last weekOn Sunday October 15th I Awoke at 4am in horrific pain in lower back. Barely could crawl to my car to drive myself. I live 5 minutes drive to emergency one in New Windsor New York . But upon arrival I was completely disappointed frustrated and angry that I needed to find the new Urgent Care Center further away . This was my experience . Upon arrival to the front desk the young female working assumedly could see me struggle through the door but does not greet me,ask me my pain level ,or if I needed a wheelchair. In pain barely able to speak, I explained my symptoms as I was crouching onto her counter to stay partially upright. After my explanation ,she goes into consult with her doctor on call. She returns to inform me the doctor said they wont prescribe pain medications.Thats it! Still no offer to assist me! I hate pain meds,I didnt ask for pain meds and the reason theyre in the business is to serve the people who suffer. I felt insulted,in pain, and lost all confidence in this place.I Immidiately looked up more information on possible alternate Urgent care in the area. I ended up in Crystal Run. Immidiately I was greeted with wheelchair and made to feel they wanted to help me. Im home ,the pain is minimized. The doctor administered a shot and prescribed a combination of muscle relaxers and Crystal Run has a new patient. Theyre professional ,caring, and immaculate and I was in And out in one hour. Also, no narcotic pain medications were needed! Draw your own conclusions.
Im a Marine Sgt, was sent there by the VA to see a Neurologist. Dr. Olga Fishman was impatient, snotty, and made a judgement without reviewing all the 1.5 years of previous testing data I had with me from three VA hospitals. I decided not to continue with her and asked to leave. Worst experience, never, ever will I go there.
I went to the hospital emergency rm after being sick for 2wks.. when I walked in I had a temp of 104... coughing, sweats, etc they did nothing told me to go home and continue over the counter meds 🤦🏽♀️(St Luke’s) my mom took me the next day to urgent care they immediately gave me a chest X-ray and determined I had pneumonia! Antibiotics, inhalers, cough syrup etc later I was in the road to recovery... I’ll keep going back whenever I need to see a dr and I tell everyone how great crystal run urgent care is... THANK YOU GUYS
LPN Frances Gioia is the most obnoxious, unprofessional nurse Ive ever met. She is the reason Im giving one star. Someone needs to speak to her. She cannot continue to treat patients the way she is now - Crystal Run needs to re-evaluate the nurses they allow to work.
This is actually the worst place Ive ever had to deal with... it takes almost a week to get an appointment in but whats the point at that point. They cant even diagnose you besides for basic stuff and when they cant they tell you to go see another doctor and that requires another appointment. It takes forever to get a call back as well. These people are so incompetent.
Get here early for my 9:15 am appt, try to check in and was informed that my appt had been cancelled three days ago and rescheduled for 3pm today in Middletown.. Umm. NO it hadnt!!So annoyed..My first and last time here.. The atmosphere is cold its like waiting in a bank line..Ah well, off to find a good doctor in private practice no more Walmart style doctors for me..
If I could give 0 stars I would. Never been here before and it was a Sunday afternoon and my primary Dr wasnt available. I seen a Dr festa here. I had allergies that were turning into a cold. He didnt hear weezing and said my lungs were good so just keep taking some antihistamines. Tuesday morning Im getting worse I call crystal run and ask for Dr to send a prescription to my pharmacy. Well they put me through to another person. Tell me typically after 48 hrs they require a visit. I said well it hasnt been 48 hrs and Im not paying another Co pay. So they tell me message was sent to Dr. Tuesday passes and nothing I call back Tuesday afternoon. I get another person on the line and say message was sent and Dr is not in today he is at another practice. Ok now Im mad. I told them Im telling my insurance not to pay you and Dr thanks for nothing. Friday morning a nurse calls and leaves a message to schedule a appointment to come back in hahaha . I cant believe how this place stays in business.
If you need to see a doctor theyll shuffle you off to financial services first. It could be 4-5 hours before you get to speak to someone, and thousands of dollars.Theyre not here to help, they dont care about patients. They are dismissive with all your needs. Doctors will never follow up with you except for payment.
Absolutely horrible experience. I sat in the doctors office for over an hour waiting for Dr. Nici. No one had the decency to come out and tell me they were running behind on seeing patients. When I was sitting waiting to be called patients who there after me were called in and not one of the MAs paid me any mind. I plan to never come back here again.

2022-07-05Doctors are good. However, trying to contact them through the system is a nightmare. Scheduling any appointment has you on hold for no less than 45 minutes. Come here if you want to be placed on hold and be continuously asked your name dob address and phone number every 5 minutes.

2022-07-07Weve been coming to Crystal Run Newburgh since we moved here in 2017. I liked the convenience of going to one place for everything. My issue is that lately it seems like they have been charging exorbitant amounts for our appointments. I went in for a yearly womens physical which is covered 100% by my insurance. But then I get a bill for a regular office visit on top of the annual visit so now I have to pay more for an appointment that in the past was covered 100%. When I called about it, I was told that if you discuss anything with the doctor or if they write you a prescription for something then it becomes an additional office visit. Really? Im at my annual appointment and if I discuss anything with the doctor it becomes a separate office visit? Thats crazy. What is an annual office visit for if I cant talk about anything? Am I just supposed to sit there in silence? She asked me questions and then if I answer and we discuss it, it becomes an adfitional office visit? Really?Ill be looking for another healthcare provider for our family.

2022-06-11Went there today and were turned away because they close at 730pm. Arrived in the parking lot before doors closed. Really needed to see someone and they could care less. Was told that they stop taking patients at 720. You would figure that they would at least ask why someone is there before they tell you that they cant see you. The person, Rosie, at the front desk very non-caring. Seemed more concerned about trying to get out of there on time than the patients well being. Told that they were behind with people in the parking lot waiting, went outside and there 6 cars with no one in them. They didnt even bother to see what was wrong with the person. All they were worried about was getting out on time. If the option to give negative stars was available I would.Horrible that these are supposed to be Healthcare providers.

2022-05-25I am afraid to say that some staff at the Reception area in the clinic of Newburgh location need to improve their performance. Since I dont have an access to a fax, I decided to go in person to fill a medical record release form on May 6th..They told me that they will give me a call to let me know when I am able to pick it up, and this procedure can take from 5 to 7 business days. I was waiting for that call that never happened until I called them. For my surprise, they directed my call to the department in charge of medical records and reconfirmed they never received my form.As a patient, please double check yourself to make sure is getting done in a proper manner and on time.

2022-06-15DO NOT USE CRYSTAL RUNI waited at least an hour past my scheduled appointment time to be seen by the doctors and the last time I was there they forgot about me just to schedule the follow up appointment. I sat in the room for almost 45 minutes before they sent someone to follow up.The insurance representative told me for the billing code New Patient Outpatient Visit Total Time 45-59 minutes, the time does not affect the bill. I have this charge two separate times.$280 for 30-44 minutes$425 for 45-59 minutesClearly the way this is billed IS affected by the amount of time they input. For both of my visits, I saw the doctor for no more than 10 minutes. While the staff and doctors are nice, Crystal Run as an entity is awful. I went in for a 5 minutes in and out dermatologist visit and they billed the insurance company $425.Similarly, at my annual gyno visit during the pap smear she said we should do additional tests. I as not the doctor went along with it and got slapped with a second bill for the same visit.Urgent care facilities are cheaper and caps out, so they cannot just put in random billing codes.

2022-03-07Waitied for an hour to be seen at urgent care for 4 other people to walk in and get called before me. Then went up to the desk to ask and the lady called somebody and asked them and she seemed confused. They have no idea what they are doing. And then told me to continue to wait I left. Emergency one urgent care is a lot better do not waste your time at crystal run .

2022-03-17The doctor I saw yesterday was great. There are several positive folks working there, but for the select few rude ones, they totally ruin the experience. The fact that there are several negative reviews about this place for this exact reason is appalling. It needs to be addressed. The fact that clearly these bad apples are not being handled speaks volumes about the managers/directors. Your patients are informing you of a major issue that is easy to fix. Handle it!

2022-03-28The reviews dont lie. If I could give zero stars I would. I attempted to bring my 78 year old mother for her follow up appointment. Our appointment was at 4:00, we arrived at 3:42. I then attempted to check in via their phone system and it was a complete fiasco. The first attempt I was on hold for less than four minutes, it rang, it was picked up and promptly hung up. I then attempted to call again, was on hold for 12 minutes, then fifteen, I finally decided to leave as they had wasted enough of our time but I called again to see how long before I would get a live person. The answer, never, I was on hold for one hour and then the system just hangs up on you. I did not go into the lobby since you do need a password and I had my elderly mother in the car and did not want to leave her alone. Its incredible that with all these horrible reviews nothing has been done to rectify the lobby/receptionist issue. The doctors are truly great here but the front lobby and reception needs to be completely overhauled. Instead of responding to the over one hundred bad reviews with the patient experience email you should focus on making Crystal Run a better run place. I did reach out and got a response that someone would contact me but whats the point? Nothing has been done even after all these complaints. Its too bad since my mother really liked Dr. Leone but at this point the only thing I want is her records so we can go somewhere else. II take my mother to a lot of doctors appointments and understand that things happen and we are in a pandemic which requires some grace and patience but I have never in my life experienced something like this, needless to say I was livid they wasted our time. To anyone reading these reviews please believe them and go elsewhere.

2022-04-02Absolutely terrible! Do not go there! Was in urgent care with my daughter for over an hour and kept getting told “she’s next to be seen”. They took my money for the co pay pretty damn fast but that’s the only part of that experience that had any type of urgency.Note: I did attempt to bring her to an on call pediatrician first through crystal run but was told they had no openings for the day and I had to go to urgent care if I wanted her seen that day. Crystal run is by far the WORST healthcare facility around!
