CTown Supermarkets in other cities:
Prices are at low end, so as the quality of the products, except some fresh produce. You have to pay cash if the total is less than $10. Some times go for eggs when its on sale. I did buy fish at times that I am in a rush and cant go to the regular supermarket I that like. They do accept food stamps. You will meet a lot of Spanish people there.
Dirty messy crowded the fruits rot the next day...they don’t take credit cards unless it’s over $10 don’t buy any cell phone accessories sold there because it’s trash & they absolutely don’t offer returns because the package is open .. it happened to me bought a car charger went to parking lot & didn’t work went back inside explained what happened they couldn’t offer a return because their “manager” wasn’t there that day.. it’s just a piece of shyt store.
Well, first of all let me make it clear Im reviewing the plaza as a whole, not the supermarket. Im sure the supermarket is just fine.Anyway..........Theres about a dozen stores here. Low income area, as a white guy I stick out like a sore thumb, no big just fact of lifeAnyway.......lets just say its one of those places one would be wise to think twice about visiting after dark.. Especially alone and definitely as a female..idk yo what do they wantI mean my phone asked me to review the place, what did you want me to say? Its a supermarket in the hood
I like the supermarket because I find things from many countries but I had never made a very large purchase there, and I brought many fruits, they did not last 3 days, they all rotted in another supermarket, it lasts for 5 days and the grapes are not even the grapes for 2 weeks. they all lasted they rotted I dont recommend it very much

2019-07-2404/15/19 12:30pm MondayI like this supermarket better than the Central Islip Target because the food products here are more diverse, the price point on average is good, and they usually dont block the food aisles.Speaking of merchandise, the store is generally well-stocked and you can find the manager if needed. The prices are working class average. Desserts are based on Hispanic supply and demand. There are exceptions, but you will not find Pepperidge Farms cookies here.*******************************************Addendum: 07/24/19 1:00pm Wednesday. This is not the best time to shop due to new stock arriving and being shelved. The place is in disarray which makes it difficult to locate what you need and there are trip hazards throughout the central aisles. (See photos). There are far too many items not priced; those against the wall are not priced at all where the apples are. There are some sale price labels, but it is impossible to determine which apples, or any fruit, are on sale or the sale price. Some labels that do exist are not legible. It will seriously delay your shopping time if you are cost-conscious and find yourself investigating and calculating rather than buying. Their produce scales also need to be calibrated.Side Note: one-gallon jugs of water are not available here. Cases of individual plastic bottles of water for the landfill or recycling ARE available. These matters were reported (not the water bottle thing) to the lady at Customer Service who immediately went on the defensive instead of calling the manager. Why work in Customer Service if you think we have mistaken you for the CEO of the company? You will never be accused of such a thing! I explained she was not responsible, rather the only person who could be found. My additional thirty minutes shopping here will not be ignored due to the unnecessary inconvenience. It is said you pay for convenience. No, convenience is when you chew my food to give to the dog. It is cheaper than Alpo.If you shopped here on your lunch hour today, you may been very late getting back to work. CTown gets TWO STARS today when it should be FOUR as it was during the first review. Two stars because Customer Service acted as a gatekeeper, not a problem/solution facilitator. This review will be amended again if these shortcomings are rectified by my next unannounced visit. WalMart is still my ace-in-the-hole, or Best Market, but CTown is conveniently located in my corner of the planet.A More Upbeat Criticism:My cashier, Rosa, was an absolute gem. She empathized with me and made me feel better than Customer Disservice. Rosa did not pass the buck, an old phrase meaning irresponsible. Make her Manager. Was all this drama a big deal? Not really, just really friggin annoying.

2022-02-09Another case of psserbye doesnt connote towards visitation. Passerbye isnt the same as taking part in the experience of food choices selection amenities. Typo error. I passed by that particular dsy in espoused post last time in written dialogue posted history. Ill update my post from last message in pursuance of offering an accurate assessment after visiting the establishment tonight. I love the New design which Ive noticed from another place that services the community. The spacious aisles are a great addition. The courtesy of the persons I see as familiar faces providing care in fish market are always cordial. Met two youngsters always whose very upbeat in characteristics of friendliness this evening gesturing Hola in community representative of tonight. When I arrived at registrar another experience of good customer service. Im sure Ill visit again. The only non representation consentency missed is the Deli area which made scruptuous breakfast selections of choices. I did notice the expansión of meat división as a replacement implemented strategy of services for patrón consumption.

2021-11-02My mother and I did our basic foods simply toward the beginning of today, and this staple shop truly has everything. We are both dazzled on the grounds that there is an assortment of items that you can browse, and surprisingly the best merchandise that you can get. BIG THANKS!

2021-11-16The WORST CASHIERS BY FAR!EL PEOR SERVICIO AL CLIENTE!Talk about being rude. No customer service training at all is provided to this “cashiers”. Good luck trying to ask a question and actually getting an answer out of them. I mean I’m telling you they ignore you. Management is nowhere to be found. It’s amazing how this place is being ran.EL PEOR SERVICIO! Las cajeras son unas mal educadas. Los encargados de la tienda son peores. Lastima que una tienda que trae buen producto este siendo arruinada por el personal.

2021-01-29My wife and I decided to make the Dominican version of sancocho - a hearty stew - and needed ingredients indigenous to that culture so we stopped in and found virtually every ingredient we needed there. This store has an amazing selection of products indigenous to many Latin cultures and we will definitely use it again for future recipes.

2020-02-21This is a pretty convenient, safe and accessible location. There is usually ample parking available too.Once inside, there is a wholesome and wide variety of fresh foods, goods, and products in stock, for affordable prices. They give you a free case of drinking water when you spend a certain amount.Plus, this is the main place for us to purchase our Jamaican/Caribbean foods, snacks, drinks, and seasonings. We can eat healthily and nutritiously Jamaican courtesy of this nice Supermarket!
