Its a small space so you must be careful or you will miss what exactly youre looking for or run into someone coming from the opposite direction they have a pretty good deli department and the stores stock is adequate.
The store was very clean.I spoke to the manager,he was polite.The meats were beautiful.Ill be shopping there,from now on.Thank you C-Town.
The aisles were really super small. And the selection of products were very limited. Id suggest people to go to whole foods instead.
Good neighborhood supermarket with value prices and a decent variety of products & brands. Very clean, a cozy layout for just browsing to stock up on groceries in general but also organized for those in & out list specific quick shops.
I love this little market. Now Ill admit, Ive been shopping here for 20 years. I have bias. But the store remains a place to get food thats not fancy but is there for their customers. This neighborhood has changed so much, and while they make attempts to stock some colonizers food, this remains a store to get the staples Harlem loves. I appreciate that. The staff is friendly and responsive to our tastes. Fancier retail grocery stores are here now, but C-Town has been here and still presents value.

This CT Supermarket has no space to shop. Before going in to this store, please be sure to know where items are ...the isles are tight...& it will take you forever to find your item.
The workers are friendly been going there for 5yrs now. I lost my card after shopping and I called the place and they had it. It was returned to me. The manager is very nice.
C Town supermarkets have gotten so expensive I dont shop there only if Im in a hurry to go to another market thats further from my home their prices are ridiculous compared to other markets
No real selection of produce, and the food is always tainted with a wicked smell of decomposition..
Pleasantly please with service and the weekly items that are on sale. Im sharing a secret that C-Town is not sharing. If you check out the app Flipp before You go into the store, the sale prices are higher in the store than they are on the app. All you have to do is show the Manager the sale price on the app and he gives you that price which is cheaper than the sale price in the store. I have also done it at Key Food. I dont want to say why they do this, but it goes without saying.
Very convenient supermarket with great prices with lots of fresh vegetables and fruit and a large variety of meats. They even offer to have your food delivered

They have decent sales. Aisles are really narrow. Its hard for 2ppl with baskets to pass by each other. Store is clean and caters to all types of shoppers.
Best supermarket in the local neighborhood
There is a limited selection of goods here but the produce and fruits are great. The typical ingredients for a latino meal (like auyama) are flavorful while in other supermarkets, they could be quite bland. The staff here is very kind and helpful too.
Good selection of fresh vegetables/fruits and raw salad. Friendly cashiers. Has become my home market as living in this neighborhood. A little bit too tight if there are many customers in there.

A decent grocery store with limited variety of products. But, you get what you need on a daily basis. For more variety, look for Fine Fare at the Malcolm Boulevard which us just 5-7 minutes walk from C Town.
Moved to Harlem a month ago and went to this grocery store at the recommendation of a church member. This is the 1st real grocery store Ive seen since moving to N.Y. and it made me so happy! Bigger aisles, more selection and cheaper prices than the other stores in the area. Definitely going back as part of my regular grocery shopping, especially for meat.
Excellent store .....but being handi capped i by 3 cases of water bi monthly.so after 6 weeks i bring all returns back 11.oo bucks ...so they said because of pandemic they cant take them but they have no problem selling them...ive been a 4 year customer....so i told them if they are so hardup keep it and left it

CTown has an online circular with additional sale items not listed in the stores circular or programmed in the cashiers scanners. To obtain the online sale price shoppers must bring in a printout of the circular or pull up the desired sale items on their cell for a manager to verify the price. One of NYCs best kept secrets!Shoppers on a budget, remember to check out C Towns online circular. You will surely be surprised by the additional sale items!

I refuse to give my bag to a stranger to hold until I finish shopping.And when I misplaced the number, the one and only time that I gave them my bag, he refused to give me my bag.You can waste your time following me because I dont steal.You will not be adding my picture to your wall of shame.🤔
Third world mentality, stupid cashiers, crowded aisles, dirty store...offensive refusal of staff to speak proper English so much so that it feels discriminatory to average white shoppers like me, very uncomfortable place to shop. I feel constantly scammed, from being overpriced on everything. CHECK ALL RECEIPTS, people. They WILL overcharge you then play dumb and say some lameass sorry but they dont really care.

The selection was very overpriced and limited. The aisles were also so narrow it was difficult to get around. Probably would only shop here again in an emergency.

The deli makes really good sandwiches for 5.99 that comes with a free bag of chips and soda however their meats never look fresh, the aisles are always crowded and extremely narrow and the groceries are WAYYY overpriced.

2021-12-29Loved this place! A lot of stores around sell goat mean but C-Town has the most affordable prices for goat mean $6.77 per on compare to other places around who sell for $8 per lb. Also very clean store with lots of deals and kind attendants.

2022-03-11Im a fan. The entire staff knows me, and they treat me like royalty. (I also tip😁!) The store is CLEAN and organized. The store is fairly tight, with very narrow isles. And the shelves are cram packed. For a CTown Supermarket, its pricey. However, they do have excellent sales and marked down produce for one dollar per package.I cant give this establishment a five star rating, because their inventory isnt diverse. I.e., they essentially only carry national brands, and if you request that they obtain an item that isnt from a vendors list, you simply wont get it. I also deduct points because only one or two managers speak English, and the cashiers are hit or miss. One or two of them, not a word.They do accept legitimate manufacturers coupons, but it always requires the assistance and/or approval of management. And I definitely wouldnt entertain trying more than one per outing! That would cause bedlam! 🤣😅😂Unfortunately, they do NOT offer an online weekly circular. So that is an inconvenience.

2021-11-01Nice location, helpful staff, good produce and stuff ( I could find almost everything I needed to do my food shopping) medium - high prices , often good discounts and sales. Never can find fresh dill. But always can buy dill pickles.

2021-11-13Awful experience. Will not return. Returned some fluxy mangoes and they gave me a hard time , Had to speak to 4 different employees before I finally got the refund. I was warned about returning items within 48 hours. No need to warn me. I will spend the $200 I spend every week on groceries where I feel valued.

2021-03-12Not sure if management has changed. I used to fluctuate between this store and Best Market. Best Market has closed so have mainly been going here and have noticed that I am being followed around the store as if I am going to steal. Very disheartening considering that whenever I go there I drop over $100 and tip the Bagger well. It is such a convenient location but maybe it’s time to walk further and find a new supermarket.
