I have gone to this place many times for their chicken malai Kabab before the pandemic. Recently went there, the price increased by $4 and the portion of the food was a lot less than the last time I was there. The pakoras were not fresh at all. Food doesn’t taste good and overpriced.
Wanted to find a good place for a team lunch and decided to stop by for a taste test. We definitely were not disappointed! Ordered Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic naan. The food was so good and good portions. The ambiance and the staff was pleasant as well. Looking forward to bringing in our team for lunch soon.
I didnt know there is an Indian restaurent in the area of my college. I am a big fan of Indian foods. One day, suddenly we found out there is a place called Curry Heights. We went their to grab some snacks. It was amazing. The foods the have are very delicious and fresh. The place is neat and clean. Stuffs are very friendly.
Ordered Paneer Tikka Masala a couple of days ago, it was sweeter than the sweetest ice-creams I have had in my life, the irony is that it has the word Tikka meaning spicy or having mild to good amount of spice. The paneer tikka masala had no vegetables, it felt like old piece of rubbery tasteless paneer in sugar solution. The naans I had from this place are probably the thickest in the world and deserves nothing short of a Guinness world record for the same. They add some 17% automatic gratuity to the final bill without ever informing you in advance which makes it the heist of the century. Glad they did not add 1million$ as automatic gratuity. The only plus was the plain white rice, it tasted better than both the paneer tikka masala and also the naan. The ambience was below par, the chair that I had to sit on necessitated me to an immediate laundry visit.Three words summarize this place: semi-dirty, overpriced, never worth itNever going back to this place again. In my opinion 1 star, would be too generous of a rating for this place. This is my honest and fair review of this place.
During the pandemic, curry heights is the place bringing my husband and I so much joy. Every time we deliver goods to Brooklyn and we would definitely get take out from it. Food keeps its consistent quality, with generous quantity and authentic curry flavor. It has become one of our favorite places in Brooklyn.
Went there with my friends.Out of everything Chicken Tikka Masala kind of satisfied us.According to the online menu, I asked the person who was handling the register “May I please have the menu?” He said “That’s the menu on of the wall and all the food right front of you?” Me- I was shocked but anyway we ordered from what he showed us. It was a big disappointment for all of us. Because according to the review from the people, they had some good foods we wanted to try out. However, It wasn’t like what we expected. Also, the place is really unorganized and needs a strong management to keep the store clean and organized. When we entered the restaurant it was a mess like all wind from outside went inside of the restaurant and that wasn’t welcoming at all lol. Even tho we went in to try out anyway. So we ordered what the person showed us. It was like a combo-for example, Two entree’s with rice and nan.the we had are -1) Vindaloo Chiken, I believe.2) Chicken Curry.3) Chicken Tikka Masala. The rice was good. The Nan please that was embarrassing. What was the chef thinking? Who makes nan like that? rubbery tastes bland flat as a roti. It totally pissed me off. Okay moving on to next-First-Chicken curry what can I say. The curry was was good honestly but the chicken comon it’s too DRY!!!!! Why u do this?Next-Vindaloo Chicken It was ruined. Over spiced with clove and other spices. Could have been better.lastly-Chicken Tikka Masala. Now that was good ! but lacks a little salt/flavor. Could be better. But man the chicken mad dry.If the chicken is overcooked it comes dry because it doesn’t have any fat. This place can be way better if everybody cares what they doing specially the food. The kitchen needs focus more on what and how they cooking. The ingredients needs The service needs to be better.Based on other “Good” reviews, what I have experienced is nothing compared to what I read. Will visit next time if the restaurant makes improvement. Until then I am off. This restaurant has good potential if everyone cares.Specially the Engine room of the restaurant.
I ordered take out and I ordered 3 naan and they billed me for it too but only gave me 1. The shrimp curry was tasty but the shrimp weren’t cleaned. The chicken tikka biryani was great but I had asked for full spice and it was only medium. Overall, I was just very mad that they gave me 2 naan less than ordered. Would never order from there again!
My friend introduced me to this place. I ate chicken Lollipop (5pc), Garlic Noan bread, & Tikka Masala (Chicken). The chicken curry and the bread were excellent 10/10.The chicken lollipops I didn’t like the first time I had them, but strangely I liked them the next times I went back. The host was very nice and pleasant. The restaurant itself was very nice. The music was soothing. The bathroom was dirty the first time I went, but was clean on subsequent visits.Overall, I’d give my experience 9.5. I will return as a customer and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
For a place that “automatically” adds 18% GRATUITY on the customer bill, it’s not only “suppose” to be good service but it WILL be. Service is pathetic! The server didn’t even greet me when I come in, guy was more focus on his soda than a customer. The guy throws the menu on my table, he was lucky I always wanted to try this place since I pass by all the time. Not only he didn’t even offer me a drink, I “asked” for a water with lemon and this guy brings it over a few minute later with just the water. The guy never even help me refill the water once!!! I might as well do take out right? Not even once this guy came and check on me. What kind of service are you providing, that gives yourself confident to add 18% gratuity? Don’t dine here
I always come here with my family for our outings! The food is really delicious! It is expensive, but I would say it is somewhat worth it considering how nice the people are and how good the food is! Definitely recommend the Tandoori Mix Grill and the Shrimp Biriyani!
This is by far the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I ordered right before they closed and the food is so fresh nice and hot and yummy. Most orders from other restaurants are not so good when it is the late order right before closing! But my food is sooooo good I had to let everyone know order at anytime and food is so good and comes nice and hot!
If I were dining in, I wouldve sent back everything I ordered! Not sure how they can serve such old food to customers. The chicken lollipop was definitely not fresh and on top of that, it was reheated/refried with old oil. The biryani was also cooked with old oil. I say old oil because they both stank of greasy smell of old oil!!Mustard is usually used for garnishing butt this paneer bhurji had huge mustard as the main ingredient. Urgghh so bad!! Never seen so much mustard in any dish!
Order Mirchi chicken and found it very hot and spicy to the point that my tongue started burning. Agreed that it was mentioned as medium spicy but it was too hot. And the manager refused to cancel it and offered to make it less spicy. What I got after they made it less spicy was too sweet. So really didnt have great food here. If you dont like spicy, hot food dont go here. Also they added a mandatory 10% gratuity fee in the bill which i felt should have been made as a choice to the user and not as mandatory. Too hot food, not so helpful staff. Avoid eating in this place.
Don’t waste your money here. The food taste disgusting. I have tried different items from this restaurant and day by day their food taste is getting terrible. Today I had the curry chicken and it did not taste like what a general “Curry Chicken” suppose to taste like. It had no taste of chicken. They basically cooked tomato and chicken together. When asked to change it they brought the same thing with less tomato on it. It was disgusting. The waiter was very rude, he acted like he didn’t know what I was trying to say. #Never Going
My friends really like this place but I thought the food was rather bland When we got take out during the pandemic. Maybe thats what some people like in their Indian food? To each his own. The best dish we had was the lamb korma but dishes that have a lot more flavor at other places, like bindi masala, were very ordinary here.
I tried the fresh crab curry and I thought it was great. A generous portion, the flavor of the crab and the spices were distinct. Id love to go back.I was however very disappointed because with just three tables sat, the staff ignored me (and the other tables) repeatedly. They seemed very busy with online orders.
The food is amazing and we cherish this Indian neighborhood joint!!! I love their Vindaloo, which is very very spicy. The spinach saag is one of our recurring orders too... and their mango lassi is an amazing treat! The customer service is spot-on, kind and efficient! Cannot recommend enough!
Let me first say that the food was incredible but I value service highly and this place lacked it. I found a hair in my food that definitely wasnt familiar, I called a server over and said to him very genuinely I am not trying to create a scene or upset but theres a hair in my food. He immediately went into defense mode saying that the chef wears a net, well clearly the net wasnt completely effective that day. I told them I just wanted a clean plate, there was no protocol for them seemingly for situations like this as all he could do was be defensive. Then it was sort of just a okay, yeah, well redo it attitude. Even though I clearly said just bring me a different plate. Anyhow, the dish came again. There was never an apology, not from this server or the one who took our check. It was ridiculous. As great as the food was, I am more than likely not going to go there again.
I love this restaurant! They give awesome dishes, their menu is varied, The cook in that place is very experienced, I love a lot trying all their food. The food is consistently of high class, the service towards the customers is friendly. I often go to this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.
Vegetarian dishes I had were very good, savory without being spicy. The spice kick was definitely in the Samosas though, and it was just the right amount of heat while letting the flavors come though. The only complaint (a minor one) was the naan was a little on the dry/crispy side. Service was good. Our waiter was cheerful and attentive. Will definitely come back.
Best lamb biryani in NYC hands down. Delicious. Just the right kind of spicy. Never disappoints. Im somewhat of a regular to this joint, so Ive had this dish multiple times.Overall vibe is decent enough. Dig the Indian style house music. Nothing fancy. The food is the real star of the show anyway.
Edited on 10/11/18 - Will never order from them again. They are late on every single order by at least 45 minutes. They are completely unreliable. When I call to get assistance, I am brushed off with it will be there soon and this happens rarely. Sadly, they are not capable of managing a delivery business and are not reliable. Now I have to find something else for dinner...nearly 2 hours after ordering.Great food. Terrible delivery service. They are 30+ minutes LATE on every order. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait. And then you will have to call and then they will start preparing your order. We have tried several times and just cant rely on them so cannot order from them any more. Aysa in Brooklyn Heights is nearly as good and very consistent in delivery so will be our new go-to source for good Indian food.
This is the absolute worst Indian Food I have ever eaten. Maybe for those who dont know the authentic taste of East Indian Food will review and rate this food as Delicious, but it is far from it. The Service is very lackluster and they are clearly unorganized, dont pay attention to their customers and need to learn to cook Indian Food. Dont go there and waste your money or your time. They couldnt even get the Lime Aid drink correct. Pathetic place and if i could give them Zero Stars I would. Horrible Experience at an Indian Restaurant Ever.
A perfect place to get a quick bite. The place is usually crowded during lunch time, but the line moves fast. The food is typical Indian food with multiple options for vegetarians and meat eaters, the meat is usually chicken and goat curries served with rice and naan. The place is big enough to seat about 35-40 people and the service is quick. There is a restroom at the location and the food is between $9 -$12 per person depending on what you choose from the set menu.
The food was excellent. They have a meal deal where you get sauces, nan bread, and appetizer, and your entree for about $16 which is great value for Brooklyn. One thing I would suggest is getting boneless chicken because distinguishing what is edible and what is bone is difficult in a brightly colored sauce.
The tall gentleman was very professional, but there was another man that was so unprofessional. I place a takeout order for myself and my dad . I specifically said I want one of my two orders of butter chicken ,one with no spices!!! My dad doesn’t like spicy food, it was on the recipe. When I got home and lay the table all two was spicy. I have to go purchase another dinner for my dad . Next day I went back and with the food and they didn’t want to refund me my money. They don’t refund , After have to state this was your fault not mines I want a refund on my dad order. I finally get refunded on one item by resting my money on a package that was sitting on the desk. Poor service . Will never eat here again or have of the office staff eat here!!!
Ordered delivery and was told the delivery would take 40 to 50 minutes. After an hour and 10 minuets I called. I was told the food was on its way. Before I could say anything more, they hung up in me. The food arrived an hour and 40 minutes after it was ordered. It was ice cold. So cold I asked the delivery guy to touch the container so he could see how cold it was he just stared at me. The food was cold, plain and WAY overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere other than this place. They are a mess.
This place has very good Indian food. It is a bit on the pricey side however it is very well Worth it. The only downside to ordering food from here whether you are ordering it to pick up or to eat in the actual restaurant is that the food takes forever to be prepared. If you ever order from here for lunch Be sure to order at least 2 hours In advance
I ordered mutter paneer for delivery. It was DELICIOUS. Very well made. A few things...after reading other reviews I knew not to expect utensils so planned ahead. Sure enough, no plates, utensils or napkins. Some of the complaints said there was too little food, but my containers were full to the brim and I felt overfull and sleepy at the end of my lunch so Id say they give a generous portion. However, I did NOT order from the lunch menu as my item wasnt one of the choices. The menu didnt tell you that you get a whole naan with entrees, so I ordered an extra naan off the menu. I had two HUGE naan breads to deal with (I could have saved $3). An entree, sweet lassi, extra naan and $5 tip, my lunch cost $29. Thats a bit high for the area, but I feel like I got my moneys worth.
We ordered from here last night. The delivery was on time and the value was good, and the flavor was nice (well-spiced, which we appreciate). However, the bhuna chicken was clearly curdled. The lamb rogan josh and appetizers that we got were tasty. The chicken tasted ok, but it was obviously not done right. Well probably order from here again because of a lack of other good options, but if there are QC problems again well skip it.
Malai chicken was not fresh and when we told the waiter that it wasn’t fresh, he said it was fine and it was the way it was because they catered to the taste of the locals there! As if we didn’t have any idea how it was supposed to taste. When he brought the bill he did accept his mistake and gave us a discount of $7. It was just disappointing
Delicious Indian food that isnt a tourist trap. Great customer service and very affordable lunch specials. Hearty portions with lots of flavor and excellent quality and freshness. My favorite is the tikka BBQ which is exactly the way it should be with the right spices, texture and made fresh. They may not be officially the top Indian spot in nyc but they are to me :)
Full disclosure, I have really high standards for dosa. This place is delightful for the ambiance and cleanliness, however, its not the best dosa in Brooklyn. The chutneys werent that rich in taste, the dosa itself didnt have the roasted ghee rich flavor, and the sambar was mediocre. In addition, the price is a little high for such a simple plate. Tried the prawn masala and it tasted more Thai than Indian to me. Food was overall enjoyable but its not authentic Indian food.
During my last business trip to New York I stopped here one night for dinner. The food was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I got the dinner special which comes with 1 starter, 1 entree, rice, and naan, for only about $15. I got the samosa as my starter and the chicken vindaloo as my entree. Everything was delicious.
The food exotic and we tried most of the dishes, and all of them are very very tasty. I didnt taste this kind of tasty food ever. Every one should go and try this India once in their life. Im so obsessed with this taste that I went to this restaurant everyday during my stay of 2weeks.
I love love love the food, however I only do take out because the appearance of the restaurant needs a makeover. The carpet needs to be clean or completely removed; the back area where the lunch line is a complete mess, dark and untidy. I hope a makeover is in the future making.
I placed a order at 717 pm, get my food at 855pm no forks or utensils . This was the worst first time experience ive ever had, which is a shame because i love indian food. They had the nerve to say i have to specifically order the utensils so i guess if i want to eat like a human being i have to request forks, spoons and napkins, but if not hey why not just eat this chicken masala and rice with my hands. Great job! worst restaurant ever.
A great halal restaurant! We had so many different dishes such as the lamb seekh kebab, chicken malai kebab, chicken tandoori biryani (and much more). The food was so delicious, one of the best Indian food places Ive eaten at. The service was great and fast and the presentation of the food was spot on. Bathroom and restaurant in general was very clean.
I went their yesterday with my colleague. We orders Butter chicken, vegetables curry and paneer naan and 2 mango lassis.First they took almost 35 minutes to make foods, which almost half hours from our breaks. When we are going back to work,we noticed that they only gave one lassi and no forks and knives and no Napkins. My Collegue went back and got those. It’s really Bad Service.Never back again. It’s took 15mints from my workplace,we were excited to get some Indian food.VERY BAD service.
Tried vegetarian food. The aloo tikki+chana was good. Crispy and served hot. Entree was ok, not tangy as mentioned in the menu. The veggies were cut in various sizes and hence some cooked very well and some not a 100%. No complains though as I was craving for Indian food thousands of miles away from India
This place is disgusting. Garbage outside with flies swarming. Piles of rubbish next to cooking area. People working there with dirty hands. Delivery scooters stored in kitchenTotally gross. Only place with trash piles every day even on non garbage pick up.Total detraction from all of the lovely Brooklyn heights restaurants.Department of food and health should shut the doors on this place and close them down.GROSS.
I go here all the time for lunch. I went here for Valentines Day during lunch because I knew that all restaurants for dinner would be crazy and my boyfriend and I have crazy evening work and school schedules. I have probably ordered their chicken tikka masala four or five times in a row, without ordering anything else. It is that good. It is the best chicken tikka masala Ive ever had. My boyfriend is West Indian, hes had his fair share of Indian food however he also agreed this is probably the best. The sauce is just so good. And the hot naan is so chewy and soft, which makes it perfect for dipping. We also got the samosas. Also delicious. For lunch you can expect to pay over $20 for a meal so its not cheap, but you can tell theres quality in the food. I will not be able to go to this place everyday, but it is an enjoyable experience.
Came here with my best friend on Saturday. We havent seen each other in months (I came to NYC to visit him) and we both really wanted curry. Curry Heights had delicious curry and an amazingly pleasant staff. We will definitely be coming back on my subsequent visits to the city. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. ☺️
Great food, but dont order online. The system needs some work. I had placed an order for pick up, got a confirmation email for my delivery order, eventually called to see if the food was ready 50 minutes after I ordered and didnt get a confirmation email that my food was ready for pick up until 2 hours after I had picked it up.
Both curry heights and Bombay heights are good, probably curry is a bit better quality, but they are both absolutely terrible are getting food delivered even remotely close to the estimated time. Whats worse, they never ever seem sorry or apologize, offer a discount or comp, etc., and lie, every single time by saying 5, 10 minutes- no matter what
The word is YUMMMMYYY!! We had the lamb biryani and it was absolutely delicious!! The best lamb biryani that Ive tasted so far in The USA!!!Even the condiments were so extremely tasty! My dad is a vegetarian and he had channa batura and even he loved it!Very nice ambience, very friendly service and decent prices!Thank You!
The reason I am giving them 2 stars is for the stinky service. The waiter was literally rushing us to leave, trying to dispose of my plate when its half full and I am clearly NOT DONE, bringing the check and coming back 4 times to see if I added my card already... UGGGHH like bruhhhh ??!! It wasnt even closing time or something??! Issa NO. Otherwise food is EXCELLENT! Will probably go back but not sure I want to stay to eat.. would rather order for pick up.
BEAUTIFUL , INTIMATE, VERY COZY ROMANTIC ATMOSPHERIC RESTAURANT😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 GOING THERE FOR DINNER AT NIGHT , YOULL SEE WHAT I MEAN!! THE STAFF ARE 800% FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, THE MENU ARE PERFECTLY DETAIL, & SHOW ABOUT THE SPICE LEVELS IN WHICH THE FOOD CAN BE PREPARED TO SUIT ONES LEVEL OF SPICES .
This is the best indian/desi halal restaurant in this area. They are popular for their lunch buffets which is more like a pre-fix menu with non-veg/veg options along with rice and bread. My personal favorite is their menu items. I highly recommend their Salmon Tikka, Chicken Bhuna, Paratha Bread, Samosa, Karahi Chicken and also Mutton curry. Staffs are very friendly and the place is moderately clean.
The decor is typical of your favorite Indian dining experience - rug, bland wallpaper and a full-on tablecloth, place settings and servile wait-staff - but, the flavor is beyond the typical. The chutneys have an extra punch of sweetness, and the vindaloo is potent without being overpowering with heat. A better reviewer could analyze the taste, but from a lay Indian restaurateur, their kitchen has that umff that makes them stand apart. Mind you, it just opened and serves neither beer or wine. Just go for the grub. You wont be disappointed.
This place is in serious need of adult supervision. There was some goof ball techno music playing with ads in between song during our entire visit. There were boxes and junk everywhere en route to the bathroom. The bathroom was as if from some meth lab gas station project. The food lacks gusto and freshness. It seems as though it may have all just fallen off of a Sysco truck and been appropriately heated. The chai tea came to the table with a dark scum floating in the cup. Just proving that there IS NO GOOD INDIAN FOOD IN BROOKLYN. An absolute shame. This place was as bad as Asya on Henry St.
Never Again - one of the worst eating experience. I ordered a take out -Mulligatawny soup, 2 Aloo Paratha and Kachoori. When I opened my dinner, I got Tomato soup, Samosa Chat and a roll of naan rolled up with potatoes. The only consolation was that they heated the soup. The Samosa chat was frozen. The less said about the rolled up naan, the better.
So tonights meal @ Curry Heights started out with me not receiving any water even as the delicious Vege samosa was served. As I watched the two gentlemen next to me be served water, I was like maybe this is just an oversight. When my Chicken Vindaloo, Navaratan Korma, and Garlic Naan (which were fantastic!!) arrived, I asked for water. I was given water (refilled throughout meal), but no apology was offerred. So Im thinking to myseld, Dont trip, maybe its just cultural.I continue to enjoy my meal and after I am done, the waiter asks me to pay in cash because the machine was down for a half hour. They said I could even pay less. I said hmmm ok and complete my transaction in cash. However, I observe the same two gentlemen, who happened to be white, have their cards taken without question. After their transaction, I ask the two gentlemen if the servers had requested that they pay in cash and they tell me no. So I wait until the two gentlemen leave and summon the waiter over and ask if there is a reason why the two gentlemen were allowed to pay with card while I was told the machine was down for a half hour. The waiter told me that Im making a big deal out of nothing and that they would have take my card. So I stated but you said the machine had been down. Thats when he proceeded to wag his finger in my face and speak to me like I am his child. I stood up and responded why are you pointing your finger at me when you are the one giving preferential treatment to other people. My review of this establishment is terrible service at best.....racist at worst
I discovered this spot last Thursday while on a stroll, contemplating what I was going to eat on my lunch break...the line was a bit long when I got on it but it was worth the wait, I visited once more today and invited a co-worker along, we both enjoyed our meals...you can definitely expect more city colleagues to show up, as I have spread the word and taken a few menus to work to show off 😃😂😀👍👍
We went there and the guy basically asked us to come back in 30 minutes no explanation, nothing. I think it was because they were switching from lunch to dinner but still there were people still eating. We wouldnt have minded if they allowed us to wait inside for 30 minutes. Very unprofessional.
Litter HeightsThis restaurant pays people to distribute their menus, which they stick under doors, into fences, under windshield wipers and even in the forks of parked bikes. These menus inevitably end up littering every street. Please vote with your wallet and support businesses that respect the surrounding community

2022-05-24My kid brother came from out of state & we went in Manhattan. It was almost 90 degrees, we were so tired & feeling hungry. So I googled & try to find a desi halal restaurant to eat. When I went inside only thing I liked was the paintings on the wall. The decor was kinda dull, maybe the business isn’t good. But they definitely need to renovate & redecorate the restaurant.I was too tired to leave & try another restaurant! Do decided to eat anyway. The price was high & the taste wasn’t close at all. Me & my brother couldn’t even finish our one chicken biryani. I had to bring the other chicken biryani it home. The chicken loly pop was ok.Only thing I liked is the lady who served us. Really nice & helpful. I appreciated her service a lot. Even my kid brother also gave her tip.I hope rest of the food is better then what we tasted. Feeling real bad saying all this, maybe others will like it.For an Indian Halal restaurant, there was not much flavor. Probably the Chef will hate me after this, maybe I should remove my pictures from the review😷But it is what it is!I was dissatisfied! My brother did mentioned that he liked the mango lassi. That’s a plus point🙏

2022-03-13Four of us went for dinner on a Monday night. It was clean, neat, very quiet, and dimly lit--nice ambiance. There was also beautifully colored artwork in the walls. The service was very good. We shared the dishes we got and they all tastes the good. The lamb in the Lamb Tikka Masala was very tender. The Seafood Briyani had a good amount of seafood, was spicy, and had lots of spices. The Naan was great. Loved my Mango Lassi! I would definitely order from them again.

2022-05-24It’s my first time to try this resto and I’m surprised that there’s an Indian resto that smells so good ( no curry smell) and it’s very clean. I ordered beef biryani and it exceeds my expectations. Fast service and staff are friendly. This is the best Indian resto that I tried in NYC 👍

2022-08-07I truly enjoy the food here and it is my favorite Indian food in the area, especially the bread filled with sweet coconut and raisins. Sometimes when I go to eat Indian food, it is so spicy that I cannot properly enjoy it. The food here is fresh, flavorful but not insanely hot unless you get something like a vindaloo, and in good portion sizes. The only downside is that the interior of the restaurant itself is older and worn-looking, but I want to get takeout from them already, again today, I enjoy their food so much.

2022-03-03Jan 2022 - 4/5 Stars - Sometimes you hope that places read your review and take corrective actions. It looks like the express lunch special is back. Still one of the better places to eat if youre in the area or serving jury duty. Bringing back the steam table would be ideal.Sept 2021 - 1/5 Stars - The place is a mess. Went in 2 days prior to confirm if they were still doing lunch specials. The guy said only for take out and in fact the buffet is going to open again in a month. I go back today and this younger guy gave the worse attitude saying theres no specials and just threw down their menu and said regular menu only. Congrats Curry Heights, you went from being recommended to my huge office to now being the place to stay away from.

2022-05-25I ordered for a young man who works at Trader Joe’s and is like a son to me. He is originally from Bangladesh and especially likes biryani. He said about the food: “The food is very tasty, more than even my expectations. This made my day,” How nice to have the delicious food he ate in his home country delivered hot and fresh to his workplace for his meal break. Normally when he gets off at midnight, he takes the train home and cooks late for the next day. This was so much better! Thank you Curry Heights! ❤️

2021-08-02My wife and I had to go Downtown Brooklyn on business, every time we go wed drop by Curry Heights for a delicious takeout. The food is great and portions pretty generous - love this place

2022-03-09I ordered the salmon appetizer and the mixed vegetables curry/ it was delicious! The salmon was perfectly cooked. The food came with a delicious basmati rice. I also highly recommend the mango Lassi- I’ve had it in other places but, in my opinion, this is by far the best. My order was for pick-up and it was ready when I arrived. The manager is super friendly! I love going to this restaurant!!

2022-04-02Had the Mirchi Chicken and Garlic Naan! Good food, and nice flavors! The staff is nice and friendly too
