I get my hair styled by Nicole. She is always friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I always get what I want when I go to Nicole, she listens and will recommend what will look great on you. My boys and my husband get cuts by Mike. He too is professional and talented. My kids love him and they’re very picky so that says it all! I highly recommend Cutting Edge!!
I have to say I don’t really write reviews much but after receiving my hair cut, so many people complimented how great it looked I had to write a review. Both Mike and Nicole are always fun people and make your time there enjoyable. I stop in just to say hello whenever I’m in the area. If you want the best hair cut then you need to go to Cutting Edge.
My relationship with Nicole, the hair stylist at this salon started a year ago. I was absolutely pleased with the result of my first visit. Nicole listened to my needs, she examined and analyzed my hair texture and she knew exactly what cut and style would compliment my facial features. My hair looked fabulous and the compliments from my children, family and friends confirmed it. Nicole is lovely, personable and exceptionally talented at her skill. She is a gem! Everyone that works there are always very pleasant and friendly. I appreciate the attention, conversations and service given. I always walk out of that salon feeling like a super star!
My husband & I have been going to Jackie at Cutting Edge in Jefferson Valley for a number of years. Jackie is an amazing stylist & colorist! She has an eye for cut & color. A rare combination.She is patient & certainly up to date with her professional development . Any questions I have regarding a new style - Jackie is on top of it. It seems I enter the salon looking tired & drawn & I leave looking 20 years younger. 💕 If you want a sophisticated look ( without driving into NYC ) go to see Jackie! A miracle worker. 🥰🥰
I searched high and low for a salon near me and when I found Cutting Edge in Jefferson Valley I knew right away my search was over. Nicole, Mike & staff are professional, experienced, friendly, funny, truly good people up and down. I highly recommend this salon that I have now been a loyal customer to for the past 5 years. Love this salon. Nicole is amazing with color. I came in with a mess of hair and she had meWalking out a new woman. Always consistent with amazing cuts. I also bring my teen daughter to Nicole and my son to mike. Highly recommend!
I have been getting my hair cut at Cutting Edge since Mike and Chris opened and I could not be more satisfied with the services I receive from their salon!! Nicole cuts my hair, she not only is talented at her craft but a genuinely sincere person as well. Mike and Tyler are fantastic barbers and the entire staff is friendly and inviting! I recommend giving them a chance and you can see for yourself!!
Nicole is so amazing at what she does! I loved her attention to detail. She got me to the exact shade of blonde I have been dreaming of 😍! Mike cut my husband’s hair and did such a great job on his fade, especially with his hair being thick and curly. They are a dynamic duo!
I moved to the area 3 years ago. I searched and tried so many salons ( I color my roots monthly and cut my hair every other month.). A year ago, I found this wonderful salon. The stylist and barbers are excellent, super friendly and actually listen. They go beyond what is expected. My stylist/colorist is Nicole, I have always left satisfied and pretty. They are less expensive than other salons in the area. I am so glad I found them❤
After reading all of the great Google reviews, I decided to try out this salon and made an appointment with Nicole. She was stellar and did a great job on my hair, which was almost all grown out to one length except for the bangs. I originally wanted to take off only an inch in length, but she recommended two, in order to remove damaged ends, so I agreed. I love what she did. Im attaching before and after photos. I recently had a keratin treatment done at this salon by Nicole. Im a new mom and have the dreaded post partum hair. Nicole TOTALLY fixed me and my hair looks and feels better then it has in months. The salon gives such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and all the stylists are all a pleasure to talk to. I would absolutely recommend this place (and Nicole!) without hesitation. The best!
I was greeted as soon as I walked in by my stylist Nicole. I was taken on time and it was a very pleasant atmosphere. All the girls and Mike are great! Prices are reasonable and they don’t try to sell you on stuff. Great place, great staff and great atmosphere!

I ended up going here because another salon cancelled my appointment without notice. They were very friendly and were able to last minute fit me in. There was a barber and hair stylist on. I was very happy with my hair especially doing my hair without having ever met. They offer 15% off for first time clients. I would recommend.

I cannot say enough great things about Nicole - she is not only amazingly talented but it is obvious she loves what she does. I have been in many top salons in Beverly Hills as well as Manhattan and no one has done my color, extensions and cut the way she has. I have never received so many compliments - even from other hair professionals - about my hair. When she took me on as a client my hair was a disaster - what she did for me was absolutely transformative. My color was off, my extensions were poor quality and kept falling out - even though I paid top dollar at a Manhattan salon for these services. Now I look forward to getting my hair done and have made a wonderful new friend in the process. She is Westchester’s best kept secret.
I’ve struggled to find a good place to get my hair done for awhile. My friend recommended I try her stylist, Nicole. And since then I have not been disappointed! I always walk out with great hair and I don’t have to pay and arm and a leg for it. The salons atmosphere and people are great. Best salon in the area!!

I love how Mike cuts my boys hair! Hes very friendly with little kids and sees to it that they are comfortable. Quick and precise work. We went to another, closer barber shop for a while and it was a mistake. Worth the drive!
I recently moved up here from the city and was worried I wouldn’t find a salon that matched that of the salon I’ve been going to for so many years. I was thrilled to find Jackie at Cutting Edge. She went above and beyond and I couldn’t be happier to know that I now have a professional stylist/colorist, and a warm and friendly salon that’s close to my new home.

Glad I finally gave this place a shot! I had heard good things from friends but hadnt used them until recently. I was pleased with the service, place was clean and my stylist was friendly but still gave me space to zone out and relax. I will be going back.

I LOVE CUTTING EDGE! I am not picky on what hair dresser I see and usually see whoever is available. I have never once been less than happy and amazed with my cut and color! I live in Queens and gladly travel to Westchester to have my hair done. I wish I can give more than five stars, because thats what this place deserves!
Five stars does not do this place justice. I drive from Connecticut to get my hair cut at Cutting Edge and have been doing that for years. The barbers and stylists are top notch and you are doing yourself a disservice if you dont check it out.

I called for a barber appointment and was told no appointments. Some regulars came in after me and I waited 50 minutes, I asked why they were taken before me and was told they had been there waiting but I saw them pull in after me. Totally unprofessional and inappropriate. The stylist blatantly lied to my face. I would never recommend them to anyone. They lost lifelong customers.
Love this salon, I’m always greeted as if I’m family when I walk in the door with a mimosa and a hug. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Nicole, she has brought my hair back to life.

Got my boys hair cut here, sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not. Just depends on who you see. My husband also had the same experience with the barbers... one is really good, one is really bad.

2021-01-13Hands down best salon! I have been going to Nicole for cut and color for 2 years now. I came in after someone botched my head. She fixed not only the cut but the color. She is absolutely amazing with color!!! Highly recommend! My son also has his hair cut by mike who has done an amazing job! We will continue to be loyal customers.

The owner is a great guy who made me feel very comfortable and gave me a great cut. I received several compliments that day alone. Nicole does an amazing job as well. 2021-01-14This is a wonderful salon! Everyone is talented, friendly, funny and such a warm and welcoming environment! Nicole has magic hands and Mike give my son the best haircuts, hands down! Its so hard to get a great cut for a boy with curly hair! If my husband had hair he would go there too! My only wish..wish it were closer to me, but its worth the travel time!

2021-01-14I used to bounce around from salon to salon, not really caring who cut my hair or how well it was done. I started going to Nicole about 7 years ago, and have NOT wavered. She has done so many different styles on my hair and always has great suggestions! I trust her completely and will usually say “ do whatever you want” and it always comes out amazing. The staff as a whole is always friendly and courteous and treats everyone with respect. My husband has been going to Mike for about 15 years now, and both my kids also get their hair done at the salon. It’s a family Affair! In all actuality that’s what they make you feel like when you walk in the door. Whether your new or not they are always interested in you and enjoy the talks with each client. I would and HAVE recommended this salon over and over to anyone that asks!

2021-01-14Never did I expect to find a Manhattan quality salon in Northern Westchester! Ever since coming to the salon multiple years ago with a bad hair emergency I needed quickly fixed before a business trip, I will only go to Cutting Edge for my cut, color and extensions (which last multiple months beyond what they would at the 3 other salons I used in the city and Long Island). I have never received more compliments on my hair than I have since working with Nicole. On top of that the atmosphere in the salon is so welcoming and fun. Nicole, Mike and staff are consummate professionals that go above and beyond to make their clients feel at home - even clearing out a room for me one time so I could take important business call - they are just the best!

2021-01-13I will say Cutting Edge hair salon is phenomenal! The second I walked in to this gorgeously decorated salon I thought to myself this place should be on Fifth Avenue! The staff were all so welcoming as was the owner. My stylist Nicole transformed me. I have never received so many compliments! Their shop is clean and they go above and behind to make sure ALL clients are happy. Nicole is a talented artist who I had the pleasure of learning a lot from. 2021-01-17I’d searched long and hard for a hairstylist that I trusted after mine moved away. It’s a big decision, not only about the quality of the work, but you also need to consider if you enjoy the experience.I’ve been going to Cutting Edge since 2013, and Nicole Pocchia is the best stylist/colorist I’ve ever had. My experience is always pleasant and fun. The staff is courteous and professional. I’m grateful to have found them.

The cleanliness and professionalism are always the best, while making the client feel like the only one in the salon, and your stylists top priority. They’re always able to accommodate my needs as a mother, no matter who I have to bring with me, or give me extra pampering when this mom gets some alone time. Every effort is noted, and that’s what keeps me coming back every 4 weeks!
