CVS in other cities:
Just endured cvs telephone tree three times before connected to pharmacy. Had simple question, Imust split pills, do you offer that service?Persons response was, No we sell pill splitters for that. I replied, that doesnt work. I than heard a laff and a hang up. Very rude.
This is absolutely the worst pharmacy in the U.S. Despite a physician calling in a prescription, it has NEVER been ready without a minimum of three phone calls and two visits- typically more than that. Other pharmacies dont require you to call in to confirm its been filled after the doctor calls in the prescription. This CVS does. Even after my first call when the CVS employee assures me it will be processed and ready at a certain time, it NEVER is. Then I pull up to the drive up window and they tell me Its not ready, so I have to come back yet again and wait in a line with four cars ahead of me. I can also see online when the doctor calls it in and it just sits at CVS with no action whatsoever. Its a nightmare. Ive spoken to the managers on several occasions, but nothing ever changes. The only reason I continue to go here is because its for my elderly mother-in-law.
I have been on the phone for at least 45 minutes waiting to speak to a pharmacist pertaining to a refill a Rx. The date and time of my refill keeps on changing since August 4th. Then I get a text that they want to contact my doctor to get a similar Rx thatwill cost an arm and a leg. I forgot to mention that this the 2nd time waiting. The first time was about 20 minutes and was hung up on. And I just now got hung up again. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU CVS!!!!!!!!
Ive been calling the pharmacy since this morning and more then 8 hours later still no answer! How do you run a CVS but not answer the phone? Makes no sense terrible business!! You have all these employees but cant pick up the phone.. and whats the point of having a phone if you never answer ???
This a few months ago was a good pharmacy before but it is no longer worth coming for your medications here. They never have them ready, they tell you 15 minutes you come back and questions they tell you 25 minutes and so on they have you for several hours. They keep you with a big lie. It is incredible that sometimes you come for your recipe that has been sent for 1 or 2 days and is not yet ready. At night it is a nightmare to come here the night staff is very rude and hostile without counting that sometimes there are only two people for a pharmacy that is usually open 24 hours. In recent months I feel so disappointed in this pharmacy. If a prescrption does not cover your plan they say the doctor did not send it when you insist that the doctor sent it. Then they will see on another computer and there appears the medicine that according to them the doctor never sent it. They do such a poor job that leaves much to be desired. It used to be my favorite pharmacy to pick up my medications, now its a total nightmare. If you dont want to have headaches, dont come to this place.
The reviews are right about the pharmacy, it’s very unorganized and some of the staff could have a better attitude. My best advice is that when you get a prescription sent here KEEP CALLING and FOLLOWING UP to check to see if your prescription is arrived or is ready because they will not contact you or tell you this. ALSO, when you call don’t connect directly to the pharmacy, connect to the main store first and then ask if they can transfer you to the pharmacy(they do not answer the pharmacy phone). My inhaler, which was badly needed, had to be delivered at the pharmacy first and I was told that they would call me when it came. I then called back and was told that the delivery was coming at around 1:00. When I called at 1:00 the man I spoke with said it was delivered and ready to be picked up and they did not call me like they said. It also did not say it was ready on the CVS app. Who knows how long I would’ve waited for it if I hadn’t called so KEEP CALLING AND FOLLOWING UP! Especially if it’s an important prescription. We are living in stressful times right now so I didn’t let the negative attitudes of the workers offend me, they are in my prayers in these trying times.
So, as we speak, Im too fearful of one of the staffers to bother ringing up the pharmacy again - its that bad. For fear they will, either with or without intent, botch up my prescription and subsequently my upcoming month, Ive wilfully chosen to sit here as my claim for the medication has cleared insurance but, as always, I cant get my necessities till tomorrow - and dont bother trying to call. Instead, learn semifore, walk in and try to even hail down help with flags. They. Do. Not. Care.
Absolutely disgusted with this pharmacy. The first 4 months of getting my infants formula from them were seamless and no issues. Since thin, it has been a nightmare. I never get a straight answer. I’m given whatever bottles they have on hand and then told to wait for others. They have charged me and cancelled my order. I’ve been told it’s here and it’s not. This is my 7 month olds main source of food and he needs it due to sensitivities. Cvs should be completely ashamed of themselves....so much for a family friendly company!
I find the retail staff to be very nice & helpful. The problem I find with this location is because it is 24/7, and it is on the corner of two major roads in the area, there is naturally a higher volume of customers. Corporate clearly doesn’t realize this, and thus no matter what time of day (whether it’s 8AM, 3AM, 6PM, 10PM, etc.), you will always, ALWAYS be waiting in line to check out for no less than 15 minutes on a good day. I cannot speak positively or negatively about the pharmacy staff, as I have never had my RXs filled at this location.
I was the next person in line and the indian woman at the register looks at me and says what? why cant you use the machine? what did i do for you to give me an attitude. she was talking about how some customer told her to come outside and they were gonna call the police on her. so your mad at them but want to take it out on me? i see who is the short rude lady with the nasty attitude everyone is talking about in the reviews. she ends by saying welcome to america
My daughter had been released from the hospital the night before I was picking up prescriptions in their drive-thru. I asked to buy a bottle of pedialyte and was bluntly told no. I informed them I had a sick infant sleeping in the car, could they please make an exception. I was told no again. I called and spoke to the store manager who informed me they stopped their curbside ordering and any interaction I had with the pharmacy was under the pharmacys purview, not hers. She transferred me to the pharmacy. I was told that it was their policy not to sell items through the drive-thru window because it was a liability. I asked how it was more of a liability to sell a bottle of Pedialyte through the drive-thru window than it would be to expose my daughter to the stores germs and also inflict the store with her own germs, I was told I dont know, I was told to tell you that as if that is some kind of answer.I made a complaint to CVS corporate. It took a week for the pharmacy manager to respond. He informed me that it is not their policy ordinarily to sell items through the window, but would usually sell Pedialyte if there wasnt a long line at the drive-thru window and he would speak to the people working that day to get to the bottom of the situation. I told him his store spent more time explaining to me that they would not sell me Pedialyte through the drive-thru window than it would have been to just sell me a bottle. I asked for a better resolution but his word that he would address the situation is all he could do for me.This does not rectify the situation for me. I have repeated issues with customer service and insurance misunderstandings at this location and this has been the last straw. I will be transferring my prescriptions and bringing my prescriptions elsewhere. I hope for future customers they become more customer-minded and develop a heart for their sick and ill clients who require their services.
First I want to say that I ALWAYS have a superior experience at this location but tonight the short older woman that rung me up was as rude as could be. Rushed me out and was helping other guests as she helped me. I thought something was on sale and when it didnt ring up that price she walked my boyfriend over to the item to physically check it and rolled her eyes at him and me. I have never felt like such a burden in a retail store in my life than tonight. I do not know how this miserable rude and racist woman is allowed to work here. I am appalled by the way I was treated by this woman.
The worst pharmacy I’ve ever seen in life! On Friday they didn’t have the medication needed it’s on order come Saturday. Of course nothing came. They tell me it will be ready Monday at 12pm and it’s now 7:34 pm and I’m in the middle of an angry mob of customers waiting, complaining that they were on hold for 14 minutes. The pharmacist with the exception on one have no phone manners and they really don’t care and it SHOWS!! The absolute worst pharmacy. They don’t deserve one star! I will be looking for a new pharmacy and I suggest that if you’re going to come to this one. Think again!
I have a happy story about this place. Pretty typical compared to most chain named common drug stores [pharmacy + quick mart + seasonal etc.]. Shopping experience varies depending when you go and which employee helps you (or doesnt help). I had a great visit at 2am Easter morning. I was completely unprepared for what my kids would wake up to just a few hours later. I walked in in a panic, left grateful and armed with more then enough material to make the Easter bunny proud. Ok, so most of the favored items I was looking for were sold out and the seasonal aisle looked like it was attacked by a pack of 3 year olds on a sugar binge. But I knew this going in and at 2am I just wanted to feel better about myself. Apparently I get very chatty when my nerves are rattled; I made a bunch of awful jokes about being unprepared at every customer who came within 5 feet of me. I can only imagine what that looked like... I was gathering what I could scavenge and started to feel better when the guy next to me (who I just spoke at length with about plastic eggs) took the LAST BAG of the cheap unfilled colored eggs. I was the one who pointed them out, by the way. But he picked them up first - so guess who walked right to the register. If it were me, I would have at least offered to split the package with him. Ok let me get to the point here. Steam coming from my ears, I stood in line behind him pouting. But I didnt want to give up, I came this far. I walked back to the aisle, found the closest CVS employee and asked the very nice and understanding young woman if there might be any more eggs somewhere. She smiled and walked with me to a giant display of assorted eggs and accessories that were gone from the seasonal aisle. I thanked her profusely as I tried to choose from pastel, primary, mixed sizes, patterns, golden eggs, sports theme - you get the point. A moment later she walked back to me with an armful of more choices. I couldnt believe I didnt look past that one messy aisle, I would have seen all this. That selfish shopper could keep the last bag of boring eggs and his tiny victory because I was so excited. The employee that helped me was so patient and concerned and tolerated my insanity. I hope someone from the store reads this and gives her a raise. Maybe they can figure out who it was, there werent a ton of people working that time of the morning. That experience, the location, and the fact that theyre the only 24 hour shop close by besides 711 and gas stations, makes me keep going back there. I would have given the fifth star, but there are a few other times Ive had a less-then-ideal time. And I do shop during day time hours too. My gripes are prob because the employees are outgoing with each other and the customers so theyre not 100% focused on the job. Im sure I would fit right in if I worked there. Thanks for putting up with this very wordy review. Lol
I had a terrible experience with the pharmacy the women pharmacist was rolling her eyes getting mad throwing a fit walking away ignoring me . The male pharmacist Basicly just didnt want to hear any word I had to say needed information he wrote it down and Basicly just gave me the biggest attitude and kept walking away with no explanation. Most Akward experience felt like they where not there to help it was like a bother they I did not deserve to be treated in that Manor CVS store is very good It has nothing to do with them.
Let me start off by saying if your doctor prescribes a medication specifically for you and its the generic version because your allergic to the point that your throat will close if you take the regular medication would you feel comfortable going somewhere that constantly questions your allergies and always gives you what your allegic too?!?! Because i have been going here for a year its close by and convient for me. Today however was the final straw i had to pick up a zpack and i am allergic to red dye (i mean my throat actually starts closing if i comsume red dye) So again they give me the red color pills instead of the generic even tho my allergies are in my file and the doctor gave me the script for the generic! I am a generally nice person and dont normally get bothered easily but when i call to tell them they had made a mistake again for the 100th time they doubt me and make me feel stupid about my allergies almost act as if they dont believe what im telling them! Thats all pure laziness, wonder how they would feel if i didnt realize and took it and went to the hospital because of them. Well then i guess they will take allergies more seriously like they should be doing in the first place, just sad that they would have to be held responsible for something like that before taking it more seriously! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!
Tried to call Them about my prescription they had me on hold for an hour at 3 o’clock in the morning when I finally did get somebody in the pharmacy I had to go through a different department and when I asked the woman who answered the phone what happened she was very nasty and said look here it’s no way to talk to people and how busy can you be at 3 o’clock in the morning on Sunday and it’s not just her it’s all your staff at the 24 hour CVS pharmacy!!

2022-03-03The Jamaican pharmacy technician is extremely rude and needs to be retrained in customer service. I got off at work and went into the pharmacy around 1:45am for medicine. I tried to ring myself up at the self checkout but they needed to do an age verification. I stood there for a few minutes while the machine summoned for a worker but none came. I walked to the pharmacy counter in the back and told the two ladies there what happened. No one acknowledged me or responded so I assumed they didnt hear me until the younger one asked the Jamaican tech ( JT) if she should call for someone to go to the front. The JT said yes, which made me realize that she did hear me but just ignored me. She then said we are swamped with work back here let her go to the front. First of all, its almost 2am how swamped could you be, secondly she could and should have addressed me directly since I was closer to her than the other Tech. When I told her that she was being rude she told me she wasnt talking to me and she fanned me away saying oh please. When I asked her for her name she refused to give it to me. I asked to speak with a manager, she said there was none in the store. I plan on returning tomorrow to speak with a manager about this encounter because it was unacceptable.

2022-05-14I have been picking up medicine for eight years at the CVS location, and for eight years it’s been a hassle. I live with a horrible chronic illness and just survived cancer, so unfortunately I need to rely on my pharmacy for more than I care to. Today was the final straw and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Every month I refill my (same) medicine and every month I get a confirmation text message that my medicine is ready to be picked up and every month I get to CVS with the same answer from the pharmacy “it’s too early to refill.” If I’m lucky I get one of two young women who are wonderful or one male pharmacist who is good and they can actually work through the weeds to get my medication ( which means I need at least 20 minutes after waiting on line). As far as the rest of the pharmacy staff they are useless, rude, incompetent, entitled, lack any manner of empathy for their patients & should not be in healthcare. As a sidenote please don’t forget to bring your your reusable bag or you will be judged at the front counter, even if you don’t take a CVS bag. I have been sick too many times because CVS refused to give me my medication when I needed it as prescribed by my doctor. Fair warning to anyone who uses this pharmacy and best of luck to everyone who does.

2022-05-03There was a recall on my mothers medicine and when I called the pharmacy to check on recall they told me that it was ok to take. I decided to go in person to check and it had a recall. They seem to not care and not even an apology. Be careful and always check for yourself. This is so sad that we can trust anyone.

2022-04-30Zero stars, had a horrible experience today. The lady at the front was extremely rude to me, she was being racist and she seemed like she’s being forced there to work for free. She said the following words- “I can never have a good day, never come here” to another white lady. The lady working there made my mom uncomfortable with her comments. I believe this lady shouldn’t even be allowed to work there with her unethical actions towards customers. Never going there again.

2021-12-04This pharmacy is constantly late with important prescriptions. I have come 2 days in a row to pick up what was supposed to be here 3 days ago and they just say “it’s not ready”. No explanation, no ETA, no apology. The woman pharmacist was coughing terribly and took her mask off to PULL OUT a piece of gum from her mouth with her bare fingers, throw it in the garbage and put her mask back on. She didn’t sanitize or wish after and acted like it was normal.Absolutely disgusting.I have used CVS pharmacy for years but will not be using this one any longer.

2022-04-11Prices about 25% higher in some of my beauty products. So the 25% coupons mean nothing. Cant find anyone with a key to open cabinet for $8.00 item

2021-12-06I stop here occasionally for certain items, since it is open, 24/ 7 hours. The store always has a good variety of products, especially in the sanitary items department, and there is a large vision department.Sometimes I stop to get my glasses adjusted. The workers are helpful and friendly. 👍😃🙂

2021-10-02This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They have messed up my prescription multiple times; if you go inside you will stand there for at least 5 minutes before any of the pharmacists acknowledge you; and you cannot get through on the phone. Just waited for 30 minutes and then someone picked up and hung up. This place is either understaffed, mis-managed, or incompetent.

2022-03-10Pharmacy technician are very rude you ask them something they act like they’re obligated working for free, a lot of people out there wanted to find a JOB I feel like if they don’t want to deal with customers get yourself another job…
