CVS in other cities:
Booked Moderna booster on line and after reaching store was told they only have Pfizer! They are quick to text you about pick up this and that but in this they could not send a text informing me so I did not come stand in line and waste my time . Hated it. Maybe they are toooo big now.
North Koreans have better pharmacies in prison camps. If you need something from the pharmacy, be prepared to not only wait forever, but to more than likely have problems.I have gotten the same medications every month for years, and it seems to be a problem every other month. I never had problems like these at other pharmacies, but unfortunately my insurance only covers CVS, so Im stuck. The rest of the store is a run of the mill CVS. Thats the only reason it gets 2 stars. The pharmacy gets 1 star from me. I wouldve switched to a CVS farther away already if COVID hadnt made it difficult.
I have been delivering subscriptions for a service, ALL over westchester county; i went to this pharmacy to pick up a delivery, when i tell you the slowest movement out of every pharmacy locally i mean SLOWEST MOVEMENT out of any pharmacy in lower westchester. 3 people were working 2 were moving at snail pace not even helping anyone, and when I mentioned how slow the young lady was moving and implying to move faster, she got extremely defensive and disrespectful, and incredibly unprofessional. Im not sure what business she usually works in, because in all my years dealing with customer service, ive never been so disrespected and talked down to by anyone and if she felt they were moving at a appropriate speed why was she so irate and out OF LINE with her communication skills. I wish i woulda got her name she was younger with short hair to her shoulders and it was very very curly. If i could never step foot in there another day of my life, I wouldnt, and if i could recommend any other pharmacy in existence i WOULD, and id go as far to say i look lesser upon cvs company as a whole now after my interaction with her.
Be careful here. The employees are not enforcing COVID protocols for customers entering the store. One woman entered without wearing a mask and walked up and down the aisles. No employee said anything to her. I noticed it and told her to put a mask on. She ran out of the store and came back wearing a mask. Equally, there was a man checking out wearing the mask under his chin. The employee at that check-out said nothing to him. I mentioned it to management. His response: sorry. This same employee is stationed at the front of the store. Presumably, he has a role in making sure those that enter and check-out are following guidelines. He does not do it. Instead, he plays on his cell phone.
There has never been a time that I am able to get through on the telephone-EVER. I’m on hold for upwards of 40 minutes and still no answer even when I select the option for a physician’s office. This is completely unacceptable. Emails are unanswered, telephone is unanswered and furthermore medicines that are out of stock take 4+ days to restock and fill. Is this some kind of bad joke? Who is in charge of this debacle?
Clean and well stocked shelves which is what is expected at CVS. Helpful staff can make check out fast & easy. Good snacks and I like to stop by on the way to the movie theater just a bit further North on the way up the Saw Mill. Average waiting time to fulfill a prescription and if the doctor calls in ahead of time- its waiting for you.

2022-01-12It is the worst experience in this pharmacy. The first time l walked in l faced with a rude cashier or whatever he was. His name is Mohammed. I got shocked to be honest . The reason l put the one star is for the service in the back of the pharmacy. They were helpful and help me out with my prescription.Hopefully they are going to change the service because nobody need to be faced with unprofessional people in public places.

2021-12-24This CVS is terrible. Do not use their photo department. Twice I ordered cards/photos online and received email confirmation that they were ready for pick up. The first time, I showed up and was told they couldnt get the machine to print the cards correctly. The second time, they couldnt locate my photos in their pile of unorganized envelopes. Things happen, but both times I was treated completely unsympathetically, like I was a nuisance for even ordering anything and expecting my orders to be there. And yes, as others have said, they are always out of stock or do not carry items typically found in other CVS locations.

2022-03-29This CVS seems more troubled than most. I brought my elderly parents here for flu shots in September of 2021. Employees were busy setting up displays and a rather pathetic vaccine cubicle. Viewed the customers, who had appointments, as being in the way. No where for 90 year olds to sit. Crowded store and few people wearing masks.Update December 2021. Returned to get Rx meds for elderly parents. On the way in, I noticed that checkout lines were jammed because self checkout not working. Pharmacy counter was disorganized with very long lines. I waited 10 minutes at drop off and then was told to go to pick up line to drop off scripts. Boxes of unopened stock piled high, blocking access to pharmacy. I stood 10 feet from the tech I was trying to communicate with; how can it not be a HIPPA violation to make patients scream the details of their situation for all to hear? Pharmacist stepped in and told me I could wait while she filled antibiotic scripts for my elderly parents. Yay! First time I have ever felt someone here is trying. Still, in my opinion, this is one of the most crowded, disorganized, and poorly stocked CVS stores. When I try to find common items missing from shelves, employees try to help. Stocking empty store shelves would help.Update January 2022. Sibling tried to refill antibiotic scripts for my elderly parents. Meds out of stock! Expected in next day, never arrived. Had to go to another CVS to refill, but Ardsley had already marked as refilled. This should never happen. When docs prescribe antimicrobials, it is for infections, and treatment generally should not be delayed. What is CVS thinking to not keep important meds in stock? Corner the market, force the little pharmacies out of business, then pare down the pharmacy shelves? If you think that telephoning the store in advance would help, forget it. They keep you on hold for an average of 30 minutes before you can speak with anyone at the pharmacy.

2021-06-256/25/21 update. Sadly had to go get passport photo. Worst most unfriendly service. Didn’t understand the guy - what language you want…Spanish, Indian, English (I’m older and hard to hear). Place still looks like a bazaar, plus gaps in shelves, dirty floors….. go to Duane read.Like going into a 3rd world bazar. Low stock, out of stock, messy, completely disorganized. Worst manager attitude Ive ever experienced. They charged $90 for a prescription I paid $43 for in FL. On the other hand, about what youd expect in ardsley

2021-10-02Easily the worst brand experience you can have with a pharmacy. The robocall answering system is designed to handle questions very few would ever ask and cannot get you the help you need. A total turn off. Why would anyone use a pharmacy this badly managed? CVS needs a massive corporate makeover.

2021-10-25This is by far the worst pharmacy I have been to. They have mixed up my insurance coverage several times, as a result medication prescribed by my doctor was denied. Nobody answers the phone, so each time this happened I had to spend a lot of time driving back and forth to correct their mistake. Several of the employees there (not all) are just incompetent and rude.

2021-10-13This CVS should be closed!! They never have anything we’re looking for and it is less than half stocked. This store is a disgrace. The pharmacist is not customer friendly. My husband and I were both registered for the Covid booster. The pharmacist could not find me in the system and refused to give me the booster. We had to go back online and registered to get the booster at the CVS on Williamsbridge Rd in the Bronx. This pharmacist said I was scheduled to get the vaccine in the Ardsley CVS. I explained that the Ardsley pharmacist could not find me in the system and refused to assist us with this dilemma. She told us not to worry that she would take care of everything. She was so pleasant, professional and accommodating. Unlike what we encountered at the Ardsley CVS.

2021-05-2030 plus minute wait on the phone just to see if an rx was filled is beyond unacceptable. I dont blame the pharmacy team. I blame corporate for not giving them the proper help they need. Especially now that they have to administer vaccines,do antibody testing and whatever other professional services they are offering for Covid. Id stay far away from this place and feel bad for people who are forced to use this pharmacy. As a former employee I can tell you first hand this company is not how they portray themselves. Their only concern is the bottom line and they dont care how they get there. I feel bad for these young pharmacists as they risk their license every day working here. Insufficient staff, unobtainable metrics ,lack of support staff, premature burnout and the list goes on. Too bad insurance companies have put all the localindependent pharmacies out of business.

2021-03-31The pharmacy deserve a 0 star. They messed up my prescription, when inquiring, the guy had an attitude, and claimed he was the manager. I got text message saying the prescription was ready, website showed refilled ready to pick up. But when we first time pick it up, they said come back in the afternoon. When went back again they couldn’t find it and said I didn’t have a refill, my doctor had to send prescription again. When telling him the CVS website showed it was just refilled, he said he didn’t see that they had a different system.

2020-11-28Haven’t used this pharmacy in a while but the last three times were a good experience. First time medication was ready on time, no issues, second time same - just fine. The third time pharmacy had issues getting rx from the doctor, but the pharmacist called the doctor and straightened it out, then called me as he said he would and I went and picked it up, I was very pleased. Otherwise store seems clean and stocked. I’ve have never had any issues here. Surprised at some of the reviews.
