I went by the store to check for Lysol disenfectant spray and they didnt have any. Next day check the website and it said they did have some. Called the store and was they did but it sold out quickly. Asked about next shipment and was told Friday. When on Friday? I dont know they said. Spoke to manager( Carrie) Thursday who said call at midnight and the should know if they are in the shipment. Friday .Called at midnight .. we dont know, call at 5 am. Called at 5am told to come to the store before CSR leaves at 630. Get up call to say Im on the way. William( supervisor) says we have a case, but we cant sell any to you!😳😡Hot friggin mess!!
I brought 3 disposable cameras to get developed in early October. I was warned that it might take longer because of backup orders from COVID, which I was fine with. I called back a month later (as they had suggested) to check if they were ready for pickup. They said no. I called back every week after to check if they were ready; each time I was told they weren’t. I called AGAIN in mid-January only to be told that they didn’t have them and that — if I dropped them off in early October — they would’ve been thrown out by now. So now I’ve lost 3 camera rolls of important memories because this business is apparently not equipped to complete the services they’ve advertised. DON’T DEVELOP YOUR FILM HERE.
Around 7:52 pm today, I had the most horrible experience while at CVS. I was already having a bad day, I was really sick and needed to take medications immediately for a serious condition I was diagnosed. Since this CVS was close to my doctor and even best was open 24 hours, I asked for the prescription to be sent there. What a horrible mistake, it was. This kid, was at the pharmacy counter when I arrived to collect my medication. Not only was he rude, but what it worst he was also careless to help. I explained to him the reason I was there, and he checked in the system to verify if the prescription was sent. He stated: there is nothing in the system by that last name. I then proceeded to call my doctor who sent the prescription 3 times but he insisted on the prescription never been sent. My doctor’s office then offered to speak to him or anyone else in the hopes of getting a verbal over the phone, since it was imperative for me to start taking this medication. This kid completely ignored me and stated he could not be on the phone. At this point, I decided to leave and told my doctor’s office to sent the prescription somewhere else, since it was obvious that was not going to get the care I needed there. This has cost me to wait until tomorrow morning to start taking my medication, since there is no other 24 hr pharmacies near me. I don’t think this is the way to treat someone. This kid should be taught about costumer service since he clearly has none. I should be taking my pills at this very same moment, but thanks to him I’m not. There was also an Asian young man at the counter helping costumers also, but he was actually very polite. I probably would never go back to this CVS again.
Pharmacy is fantastic, they have always been helpful and have gone out of their way to help. Why 3 stars? The rest of it. Photo section is rarely available for instant and the last time I came I ordered was told theyd be ready in an hour and they lost my order, customer service was nil. Long lines, unhelpful staff, wanted to get rid of narcotic painkillers and they wouldnt accept them WTH? One other thing. I need razor blades and the 3 times Ive been in NOBODY to help. Costco is the way to go for these and other big ticket items.
I came to the pharmacy in order to get my antibiotics and Christina approached to me nicely and asked if I need help, she helped me to get my medication in few moments and at the same time helping others, she basically does 3 people Job - and I think she does it really well 👍🏻( wish in every pharmacy I could see people like in there👌)- after picking up the medication they asked if I have any questions and I said yeah, immediately the pharmacist Benjamin came with a big smile and answered few of my questions throughly and passionately.I was really impressed of this CVS pharmacy specifically! All staff there was nice and prompt to help.Thank you CVS for having people like them working for you!
Clean and neat. I liked this store... Until I met the manager. Didnt know she was the manager originally because shes beyond unprofessional. She will get an attitude and even argue with customers. She started am argument with me when I wasnt even speaking to her. Then heard her get rude with an older woman waiting for her receipt today. They wont be getting my money ever again.
Last 2 times I came here, both within the last 6 weeks, they’re experiencing technical problems and don’t have it on record. Only when I pressed did they look for it and find it in their system but just not processed on their end… they used to be reliable but I’m done now.
There open 24/7, Ive lived in this neighborhood for over a decade and I havent had an serious issues with this pharmacy.Every one is really nice most of the time.Sometimes the lines are long, and sometimes they wont have your medication. Most of the time they will inform you. But sometimes they drop the ball. Also they have a pretty good range of a product selection but I bought one of my favorite face cleansing bar soaps called panoxyl there one time for the first time but never seen it there again. The bar soap is the best soap compared to the foaming wash. I need to go to a different pharmacy for that now. 😕
I have used this pharmacy for many years, the Pharmacy used to be24 hrs. now only the store remains open all day, most of the pharmacy staff are very likable, polite and knowledgeable, now the ones that work the floor are a different story they are often moody and unpolished, the cashiers if they are not the ones that are on the floor are nice and polite, with managers it depends whos on, I didnt let any of the other workers keep me from giving the pharmacy 5 STARS!
I have never had a pharmacy with so many issues with distribution of medication. Nor have I ever been forced to take an incomplete prescription! I dont know how thats even legal. There were multiple months when my medication was distributed at a 25 day supply instead of a 30 day. But whenever I attempted to refill I was forced to wait for 30 days to pass. A complete week on reoeated instances. The staff is very helpful throughout the store. The pharmacy staff also. My experience might be a very isolated instance. But I became very suspicious. Due largely to my class of medicine. Its only ever a problem with pain narcotic mmeds.I often wonder if something more is occurring. We expect everything to be done computerized and situations like this can’t be the responsibility of a human.
I used to love shopping at this CVS until they towed my car because I went to the YMCA before I stopped by to get what I needed there. The manager acknowledged that I was a loyal customer and apologized for the inconvenience, she called the towing company and asked them to bring back my car. What a major inconvenience that was to wait for hours before they finally brought my car back, not to mentioned that it cost me $146! It just ruined it for me, until this day I have not been back to that CVS and I dont plan on returning there...
I needed meds in an emergency and the Phramacy was super helpful and kind. They filled my prescription within the same day. I really appreciate their wonderful customer service. They even found a way for me to get the best deal on my medication without insurance. Would DEFINITELY recommend !
The pharmacist here has some major sass game.I came in just before 2 a.m., because a long day of parading around my gayness had left little time for filling that empty bottle of pills.Therein lies the only reason to come here: the pharmacy is always open.Back to Mr. Drugz. He grumbled that my insurance only allowed mail-order prescriptions (as he found out shortly, that was not the case). He told me it would be twenty minutes (despite there being no other customers). So I dutifully went to my chair and swipe-rejected a few dozen Tinder people; meanwhile I heard much rustling of pills. He must have been filling three different orders. I heard announcements over the staticy P.A. system but nothing pertaining to myself. After it had been almost half an hour, I went up and he said hed filled my order. I asked him if hed announced it, and he said they dont do that.He then played the snark card, suggesting that he relies on peoples common sense. I retorted that every other pharmacy Id been do had done that. He clearly appreciated a man who could stand up for himself, and politely apologized. I had subdued the threat.I was about to give this a high rating for the amusing after-midnight interaction, but then I noticed that hed taken my insurance card without returning it. I can only imagine the odds of them actually keeping it and not throwing it out. Or perhaps its a play to make me their indentured servant. How many more orders need I fill? When it comes to setting the mood, lets just say you wouldnt take a date here. Before I came to New York I expected everything to be glamorous, marble-studded, as elaborate as Rhapsody in Blue with the poignancy of Woody Allens Manhattan. Instead I get aisles of faded carpet.
The amazing photo tech at the CVS helped me at 9:59pm - she didnt have to! Getting passport pictures printed that i took on my white wall in my apt - she told me that the photo we took was completely unacceptable, and then pulled down a white background from a hanging tube and took a perfect photo of me immediately. Printed it out, and it only cost six bucks. Heaven.
Friendly and helpful staff, but very poorly stocked, cluttered shelves, and floor as well as carpet was in dirty condition. Also, prices were higher than Walgreens. They have a good selection on some wound healing items, but they were short on several standard supplies.
Worst CVS in new york. For them being opened 24 hours they never restock the shelves, if you didnt memorize the flyer youd never know what was on sale because they never change the signs, this place sucks. Id much rather go to Rite Aid, at least they got the stuff in their flyers.
I use to go to this cvs all the time until one day this guy came up to me and told me to come over here at first i thought he was trying to rob me but then he started seaching and lots people was walking by looking at me i was so embarrassed and after he was done seaching which feel like for ever which he found nothing and he didnt even apologized he just walk me to the door and told me get out of here i remember the day it was summer and the guy was wear a white vest scine that day i never step foot in any cvs again.

Im korean and i visited here when im on my trip in brooklyn. It was really nice that clinic in cvs was open on christmasday. Thanks to cvs, i can see a doctor on hollyday (christmas).Im Korean and traveled in Brooklyn, so I got sick very much on Christmas day, so I visited Kite Hospital. Even though its Christmas, I can see the doctor and I will call you tomorrow about the symptoms, and she is kind to foreigners! Although it is not possible to treat ring or injection, it is recommended to go to the hospital.

2022-01-31I particularly like this CVS Store and Pharmacy because of their customer service, most employees are kind and extremely helpful (specially in the pharmacy where I needed help). If you have to pick up a prescription from this pharmacy, I would recommend you to go first to the right of their front desk where it says “Dropoff” they can tell you if they have your prescription and if it is ready or not; if you need or have a coupon for a medicine not covered by your insurance then you can ask them! Once you’re done go to “pick up”.Many people go straight to pick up and it turns out their prescription is not ready yet (for whatever reason). I believe those phone calls that something is “ready for pick up” are automatic and not necessarily mean they have it.Avoid coming/calling to the pharmacy after 4-5pm as it will be full and you will have a long waiting time.

2022-02-24I love this pharmacy. I spent the day going from pharmacy to pharmacy, hoping to have my manufacturing coupon accepted for my Dentek. I was turned away from each one without any explanation. I was frustrated, to say the least, until I went to the CVS.I was helped first by Casey and then by Derrell. Both of them listened to me, heard my frustrations, and redeemed my manufacturing coupon for me. They went above and beyond.Like the other attendants at the different pharmacies, Casey could have turned me away. Still, she was persistent and made multiple calls to her other colleagues to ensure she did everything possible!Derrell also was beneficial, humorous, and was the one who eventually checked me out. Both of them are amazing. They are the reason why I love CVS and will be the reason why Ill be going back!I ended up running there and I have to say, after that exchange, I finished my run with excitement, joy, and a much faster pace than I expected. Thank you to Casey, Derrell, and CVS for helping me quicken my running pace, saving my teeth, and also infusing humor and help into my day.

2022-01-05I am visiting from Philly and had to go to an urgent care for a UTI. This pharmacy staff was so fast, helpful and friendly. They still filled my prescription, 10 mins before closing. They didnt have the full prescription for one medication and made sure I could pick up the remainder at another CVS at home. They were all so nice. It was really incredible.

2022-04-29Terrible customer service at this location. Was just in here at 8:05pm on Thursday, April 28th, 2022, where there were 4 employees in the front. The male worker with the gauged earlobes looked at me, saw that I pressed the customer service requested button TWICE and continued walking in the opposite direction. The same thing with the black woman with the long hair, who was leaving the register area WITH KEYS IN HER HAND! The employees here don’t give two $hits about providing BASIC customer service. Do yourself a favor and buy your items from Amazon, Duane Reade/Walgreens, or ANYWHERE instead! It’s a waste of time coming here and I have informed all of my neighbors to stop shopping here. You’ve been warned!!!

2021-12-12The organization of the pharmacy is a disaster. They say pick up your prescription at 2 so you come at 2. The line isn’t too long so you wait in it and get to the counter. The pharmacists are pleasant and smart. They say “wait an indefinite amount of time in any random place for us to call your name.” Ok, that sounds fine, and it would be if it only took 5 minutes to get your medicine but I’ve been waiting here for 30 minutes in an unorganized cloud of other impatient people. We crowd around the pharmacist confusing the people on line who haven’t seen one yet doomed to stand in this nebulous limbo. Was my name called and I didn’t hear it? Should I ask? I don’t want to seem rude. Even if I were to ask, should I cut the entire line to do it? The journey Dante took through the inferno is a walk in the park compared to the hell that is trying to get your prescription filled at the CVS pharmacy.

2021-12-18This store consistently has empty shelves and forget getting any help. This is not a covid related problem. I try not to go to this store, but I second guess myself thinking it can’t be that bad. I’m wrong every time. The pharmacy staff are, on the other hand, very nice and super helpful. ???

2021-12-27Pharmacy itself is a disaster since Aetna acquisition. These (very) good pharmacists seem to be taking a massive beating - it isnt unusual to see hundreds of prescriptions on the floor and angry customers - thats how much volume they are packing in post merger. I guarantee you everyone forced to go here has a VERY low opinion of CVS. Brand is as worthless as toilet paper to me. I wont buy anything here unless i absolutely must. They are winning their battle but will eventually lose the war. I buy all my necessities at Walgreens (thousand$ a year).

2021-07-28The pharmacy at this CVS has terrible customer service. They never pick up their phones - Ive been on hold with them for an hour and a half before with no answer. They have refused to process valid coupons because they were confused about my insurance. They once told me they had not received a prior authorization from my insurance; I called my doctor and my insurance company and found that this was not true, and when I went back to the CVS, they again told me that they had not received it. I insisted that it had been sent, so they checked the computer again and suddenly were able to see it. Most recently, they filled a prescription for me that had been sent to a different pharmacy. I called, was on hold for 15 minutes, went in person because I had no faith theyd pick up their phones. I tried to deactivate my prescriptions and the pharmacist just told me to call us if it happens again, and when I told her about my terrible experience with hold times, she shrugged and said Yeah I dont know whats wrong with the phone system. I had to ask for a manager specifically to deactivate my prescriptions. Ive been a loyal CVS customer all of my life, but this experience has soured me on your stores forever.

2016-07-15Your standard CVS, with one noticeable exception: a parking lot in the back. This is virtually unheard of in Park Slope and has proven helpful on more than one occasion. Staff is friendly.
