CVS in other cities:
The CVS Pharmacy at Fort hamilton Parkway and 67th st in Brooklyn has really gone down hill. My doctor called in a prescription a few days ago and i went today to pick it up and was told my medication was on hold. When i spoke the pharmacist and asked why she couldnt give me an answer but did tell me that since i was standing infront of her she can now fill it. This is not a way to do buisness. Ever since the regular pharmacist left, this place hasnt been the same. Seems like its time to switch stores and go to Rite aid.
When you call at 5:40, they leave you on hold until after 6 when they close. Patiently waited to speak with someone about getting a rare prescription filled for my severely sick baby and now we’ll have to wait 16+ hours before even requesting that it be filled. They’re nice in person, but let’s face it that is quite literally the bare minimum. Shameful but not shocking.
CVSs Pharmacy at this location is a very busy location with significant understaffing. At times this Saturday after 12 noon, there only seemed to be 2 and then later 3 pharmacists trying to handle 1) pick up / cashier check-outs, which was always ~5-10 ppl in line, 2 ) drop offs and vaccine check-ins, and 3) administering covid and flu shots. When it was 2 staff members, they literally *ran* around to different stations to help ppl. I did see a lady waiting in line for a while who went up to the counter and said something about not calling until a prescription was actually ready for pick up. Am I surprised? Nope. Not with 2-3 staff.I waited for some time to get my covid shot #3, but also I missed them calling my name. Give the staff a break - its corporate CVS who is NOT paying people enough to want to apply and work there! They are hiring.Covid booster shots were free and available to anyone who booked online first, even those with no insurance. The lady who gave it to me was super nice and quick about it, and talked me out of my nerves. You can check in via a link that they text to you, or wait in the Drop-off line. There is ONLY Moderna at this location, and you need a booster 6 months after your first 2.The rest of the store looked fairly clean and organized, and so was the bathroom. The music was way too loud and the staff has to shout if youre waiting around for anything other than a standard checkout. I bought a hand sanitizer, too, and that cashier at the front was really nice, too.Step it up, corporate CVS - you can afford to shell out a few more bucks to pay your hard-working employees and hire more people.
One of the CVS workers was very rude to an elderly woman speaking another language trying to do a return and he was also not wearing a mask. He was working the front of the store on 1/12/2022 at around 4:45pm. The man had glasses and a beard, his name tag was not visible.
The service sucks, My husband just went to the CVS at 6702 Fort Hamilton Pkwy. When asked a young guy questions. He is impatient to answer questions and just tell you if you can not find in the shelf。that mean they dont have it。he doesn’t even want to help at all. The attitude is terrible. Probably he doesn’t even want you to buy anything so he service less customer. Never go back to this store.
Worst pharmacy ever… They will not even pick up calls CVS pharmacy to CVS pharmacy on their internal line. Filing a formal complaint, but unfortunately this will not stop me from missing my medication because it cannot be filled by the other pharmacy as a result of this one not picking up their phone.
This review is not about customer service this is about lack of quality healthcare for the elderly. Ease of access to healthcare. I understand its a retail business but if youre operating as a pharmacy youre providing healthcare service and that should be high quality which this store is a lack of on multiple occasions.Incident on 9/13 Ridiculous! My mother gets 90-day fills and they were all out-of-sync so I made it a point to pay out-of-pocket and get them in-sync and marked my calendar to request the refills at one time.My mom ran out of 2 medications early by 8 days. She was shorted those 2 meds. Fine! I call, ask the staff on the phone to read each one off to me and she starts rapidly reading. I asked her to slow down so I can check off what is ready and whats not. The aspiring was not filled. I asked for it to be filled and all the meds to be delivered.Whats not in the bag? The aspirin.I check online to see the status, med is ready but was not included in my delivery. For context, I called about this around 10am. Then again, called at 2pm to make sure it would be out for delivery. So I dont think its unreasonable to expect ALL meds at ONE time for better medication adherence. I did 75% of the staffs job!Get with it.**Update**9/14 3rd day of missing Aspirin dose.
DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS there. 3 Nike gifts cards bought on a 3 months span were all already used. CVS do not care and will do NOTHING to compensate for your loss. There are no warnings about the scam going on even though workers in this store are well aware of what is going on.
I have generally positive experiences at the pharmacy. They process a lot of scrips, and are very busy. My one concern is a general one--theres a gun range underneath the store, and if anyone is sensitive to hearing gunfire, this may not be the best store for them. It doesnt worry me (now that I know what it is) but might definitely cause some people stress.
I needed some gold duct tape and was going to a local hardware store. I entered with friends not expecting to find duct tape, but they had it!! Saved me a 14-minute walk when CVS was across the street. The employees I interacted with were very helpful and knowledgeable. Great corner location.
Pediatrician at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. Jeff the pharmacist is the absolute best. He went above and beyond the call of duty to help us find the correct lovenox formulary for our patient by calling 18 different CVS!!! In these dark times, it is such a pleasure to meet another human being who truly cares about others. THANK YOU JEFF!
The pharmacy is horrific at this location AVOID AT ALL COSTS.I am on an ongoing medication that I have tried to fill there 3 times. The first time they gave me the generic version and I had a bad reaction, so the next time I went my dr left a note specifically stating my brand and the last TWO TIMES they have not had it for me and Ive had to drive all over BK, EVEN WHEN THEY SAID THEY ORDERED IT FOR ME.
I feel very poorly about this place. Horrible seevice and very rude and unprofessional staff. The only reason I am giving it one star is because there is not a option to give it 0 stars.CVS if you are reading this you really need to improve my experince personally was disgusting.😡

2022-05-06This is by far the worst pharmacy in Brooklyn. They have the worst customer service and the lines for the pharmacy are always terrible. Not only do they have terrible customer service they have the audacity to close the pharmacy earlier than the Rite Aid 2 blocks away from them. The Rite Aid on Fort Hamilton Parkway and 65th st is way better than these lazy pharmacists. Today as I’m writing this they actually had the nerve to close the whole pharmacy so that they could all eat lunch together. I’m making all my doctors switch my pharmacy from this CVS to the Rite Aid at 6423 Fort Hamilton Parkway. If you were smart, you would do the same thing. Every time I’ve had to use the Rite Aid Pharmacy the line always short, quick and the pharmacists are friendly and very informative. I repeat do not use the CVS pharmacy on Fort Hamilton Parkway and 67th st. They have been understaffed for a very long time. They don’t want to hire any new staff no matter how inconvenienced their customers are.

2022-05-19The most horrible pharmacy on the face of the earth! It took 30 min to drop off. The service is terrible. Technicians are so slow, its borderline illegal. They will mess up your prescriptions just for fun. Avoid at all cost. Go to New Utrecht CVS instead. Drop off and pick up for less than 10 minutes.

2022-05-27This pharmacy never picks up the phone. You’re on hold for over 20 minutes then they hang up on you. What kind of pharmacy is that??? Learn to interact with your customers!!!

2022-04-02The absolute worst. I called CVS caremark because I had a prescription that I wanted to pick sooner than the delivery date. They told me to call the CVS local pharmacy because apparently CVS cant communicate with CVS? I was on hold with this local pharmacy for 50 minutes, walked there and was told by the pharmacist Obviously they cant transfer the prescriptions to the local pharmacy, after being told on the phone that they could. Just avoid CVS. They are the worst.

2022-06-08This pharmacy is ridiculous. Just the pharmacy section not the front. If a prescription req PA, they wont care and wont call you to let you know nor will they even call you to say its not covered. They wont follow up with the provider as well. CVS pharmacy pharmacists at this location is a joke!

2022-07-15The coupon is used at the self-checkout and the beep beep needs to be approved. The old clerk with blonde hair has been disapproving it many times. I don’t want to go to this store again. I am very dissatisfied.

2022-04-08Today I went to cvs to buy milk, something very bad happened, I will never forget it...I want to buy 3 cans of milk, but the cashier inside doesnt allow it, I said I want to find the manager, he told me that he is the manager! His attitude was very, very bad, and he threatened me to leave cvs, or call the police! Later we called the police and the cvs cashier told the police that he just wouldnt sell it to me, he had the right not to sell it to me, because he was the manager, this was his cvs, he could decide who to sell to and not to sell to. Who! ! ! ! Is it really? As a Chinese mother of a single child, is it fair for me to be treated like this? Until now, I am still very scared in my heart, can I still go shopping at cvs in the future? No no no, Im afraid, Im afraid of being discriminated against again, Im afraid of being kicked out again... I can only write down my experience with tears and release my stress, otherwise my spirit has been in high tension

2022-04-04Pharmacy is swamped and not enough workers! Time after time I wait in line for 20min just to get a refill because when I call I keep getting put on hold for 40min! Cut costs somewhere else because no one is happy with how long it takes for prescriptions to be filled.

2021-12-15BEWARE!!! DONT USE THIS CVS FOR COVID VACCINES.....I made an appointment for a booster shot 10 days ago and I was scheduled for the booster today on December 15, 2021. I also received a reminder from CVS about the appointment yesterday. Everything went wrong after this. I received a text from CVS that my booster shot was cancelled just 80 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment today. CVS didnt provide an explanation and didnt even bother to reschedule a new appointment. Instead I was told to go to their website to reschedule another appointment.I tried to call the pharmacy at this CVS location. I was put on hold for more than 30 minutes and no one picked up the phone. When I went to the CVS website, all the data I previously provided for my cancelled appointment was wiped out.I decided I am going somewhere else to get my booster. It is so unacceptable the way CVS handled my Covid vaccine appointment. Not only did CVS cause delay for me getting my vaccine but also felt it was OK not to provide proper customer service. So CVS doesnt care about their customers and doesnt take giving Covid vaccines seriously. So be warned - I just dont want anyone to go through this again.
