CVS in other cities:
Zero stars if I could, and Ive never given an establishment a bad rating. Just check my profile. Severely understaffed, disorganized, and just plain unpleasant. The staff is dull and slow. Their photo department is particularly appalling. Its been nearly 2 months since I went in to have my photos developed and nothing. Another woman there had waited a full 2 months for hers. Plus this news was delivered in the most rude way possible. This woman, I forget her name but it starts with an L, looked at me like a creature. (And this happens often because Ive had to go in several times to check on my photos.) Today she didnt even try looking to see if they came in! I saw the unopened envelope behind the counter too, she was just busy and lazy. Since Ive been there SO many times, Ive had the displeasure of becoming an expert on this CVSs criminal incompetence. Do NOT trust this staff with your meds. Just use capsule (whos amazing and provides coupon discounts AND delivers). Most importantly, capsule actually answers. Also, they dont answer their phone or if they do youre on hold for 10 minutes and thats no exaggeration. I must have called 10+ times during this period. With a Walgreens less than a block away hopefully this message can sway at least 1 person not to go here. STAY FAR AWAY.
Very disappointed in CVS Pharmacy off Kent in Williamsburgh. Was there 2 weeks ago and needed desperately to go to the bathroom. I am vaccinated and COVID ostensibly is over. The Manager and customers were not wearing masks, although I had one on. I asked to used the bathroom and the manager refused. If I was a CVS customer with a vaccination appointment , I could use it, but not a general customer of CVS store. Whut????? I really had to go, I mean like really...The manager told me to walk 2 blocks up to the park and use the public toilet. If it was a matter of purchasing something, would gladly have done so. But they looked at me like I was a leper. This has nothing to do with COVID as a similar situation occurred a few years back prior to COVID. Everyone has to pee! it is neither disgusting or shameful and CVS should have been more considerate. I was well dressed and did not look like I was living on the streets-- should have been kinder.
You’d think people trained to provide life saving prescriptions would be more thorough, but doesn’t seem to be the case at this location. Not only was my one of my 2 refill requests not put in the system after I called, the pharmacist at the counter was uninterested in fixing their mistake. Instead it was my fault because I came to pick up at closing time and he was “unable to help me.” It wouldn’t have been closing time had l not stood in line waiting to be served for 15 min. Maybe one of your other 3 pharmacist behind the counter could have helped? Sad that even after explaining I had none left, you refused to be of any assistance. Fortunately Duane Reade right down the street was willing to let me walk in and pick it up right away.
My experience here was so good!!! The girls - Candice and Jaylene were working last night and they were so so helpful and nice to me, they are a big deal together, such a great energy!!! They helped me find all the stuff I was searching for, quick and professional!!! Thanks a lot!!
Siarra just helped me with my passport photos. She was just amazingly knowledgeable, compassionate and funny! This CVS location is out of my way so I haven’t been to it before, but I’ll surely be coming back because of this superb customer service. Thanks for being so helpful and going above and beyond!!!To CVS Corporate: you should promote and reward amazing employees like Siarra!
This is my wife and mine most used CVS. Been coming here for years and cant say much negative comments or that Ive ever run into any major problems. Management has been on point for the most part and shown to be helpful. Now I cant say the same for some of the staff because the young adults can run away when they see people looking for help. Thats my reason for the 4 star rating. Dont get me wrong, its not all the staff workers. Some staff members have also been helpful and friendly for the most part.
As everyone else has said, the pharmacy at this location is by far the worst CVS Pharmacy I have ever seen. They do not answer the phone, which then made my trying to transfer my prescription impossible after having gone back multiple times waiting for a refill.Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.
I am in poor health. Instead of of taking care of me, they made getting my meds a truly annoying ordeal—both by putting my on hold for 20 minutes, 3 times in one day, never having a clue about what was in their system, but also claiming my medicine was ready and wasting a half an hour of my time going to get it, only to be told they couldn’t take care of me. Being rude and gaslighting me about obvious facts—that I was completely right about—only made matters worse. I have never written a review of anything in my life, and I’m not young. This really upset me.What people don’t understand about chronic illness, is what a HASSLE it is, and how powerless people can render you. Unfortunately, some illnesses require certain medications that you can only get through CVS if your insurance has a contract with them. So... I’ll be forced to do this again, and again. I can only hope they get their act together.
The staff tries to be discreet about watching you. They take turns if someone has to go to else where in the store. As if I’m going to steal. It is very uncomfortable. When at check out, the self check out was asking for a cvs employee who obviously came right away with no greeting. And even after paying a bill of $89, they stay in the area “organizing” the already perfectly organized products until you exit without even a good bye. I would call this a terrible cvs customer experience. If you have theft issues, you should train your staff on better customer service. Don’t let them act as if every customer is a potential thief.
Just wanted to shout out DIANA who provided an excellent experience for an expert couponer -- my little gf. When the RedBox was down she priced checked items for us and helped us at the register to give us the biggest bang for our buck. COUPONERS THIS IS THE STORE FOR YOU.
This is the WORST CVS. I came here with my baby and my friend to take a passport picture and the staff was super rude the way they talked to me. I in fact think they were discriminatory towards me because i am asian and am not fluent with my speech. I ignored the way they talked to me but, then when I and my friend were waiting on the line to pay, a black guy told my friend to wait in the corner near the door if she was not paying, my friend is very humble and down to earth so she quietly went to the corner and then the guy said no not there go further back down the aisle, they kept saying you are on the way, when in fact there was no-one and she was not even in the way. I could see the employees were looking at each other and had a sly smirk on their faces. So, anyways I was waiting on the line with my 6 month baby in the stroller, when all of a sudden the same guy who sent my friend to the corner, pushed my babys stroller and left it in the corner along with my friend, I said why are you touching my babys stroller. they said no your baby is on the way, and it is good for you. your friend watch the baby. I got mad and when i get mad i kinda have problem with articulating with my speech. I cant say what i want to say plus my english is not fluent and have accent which is a problem, so i just had to let it go. After I paid for the things that i bought, I went to where my friend was sitting and then the same guy who sent my friend in the corner said okay you need to move you are blocking the AC. I argued a little bit and i just left the store saying I will never come back to the store. WE have a saying from where I am IF you see a poop on the ground you have to go around the poop and not near it if you dont want to get dirty. thats what i thought arguing a lot would be with these unprofessional and rude CVS employees. I wish there was a way I could give them Zero stars.
An employee by the name of Juan served me and my lady well when we needed his assistance on an item around 1:37 PM on August 16, 2017. I will look forward to visiting that CVS location again. Thank you again, Juan, and thank you CVS for having a good employee at that location.
Guuuus!!! Don get me even started! The doors r pretty small... 5 employs ask me to bring me outside. The ice was cold bf4 the employ army put me outside. I looked for my bandadna prolly still there. My friend (dad) has a great coupon for vitamin but to busy to go here. Call if you want.
Nice staff and great location in the Williamsburg, Brooklyn area. great place for beer and other sundries. we stayed at the William Vale hotel and it was a short nice walk to get everything we need. HINT: DO NOT BUY WINE FROM ANY CVS IN NYC... it is not wine but wine product ;-)

2022-02-13I use to use the Walgreens pharmacy a block away but decided to transfer to this CVS after visiting here when I needed something the other pharmacy didnt have. This is now my pharmacy of choice and I have no regrets. The pharmacy staff is great and are always pleasure to speak and work with. I can always rely on one of the head pharmacy managers, Keith, there for solid advice and guidance relative to my prescriptions. This CVS also has self checkout and bags if you need them. Its very easy to get to from where I live and its rarely overcrowded. I would recommend this CVS to anyone who needs a solid pharmacy. Five out of five stars!

2022-03-15If I could give zero stars I would. I live across the street from this CVS so I frequent regularly today I went in for a dish sponge, face masks, and blistex VERY SIMPLE. The first person I saw available to approach was Candice (I believe her name was) the female manager. I asked where the face masks were and she looked at me, and ignored my question. I asked another time and she looked at me as if I was annoying her and told me they were behind the register. I went to the register and young woman was there who was helping another customer, after helping the customer she walked away despite me asking to see the face masks. I had to wait and flag down another associate whos first day it was and he was not knowledgeable on the mask options. I purchased the masks and sponge and left, because of the poor customer service I decided to turn around and refund my items. Again I saw Candice and asked to make a return, she looked at me and walked right past me. Finally the same associate whos first day it was did my return. Unacceptable behavior and Ill be taking my business down to the nearby Duane reade. GET SOME PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK.

2022-07-06I was close to the cash trying to see a price of a product behind and a young girl asked me to step back, that I could get in trouble because I was too close to the cash! Detail: the product was behind the cash!!!! I asked “why I would be in trouble? Just because I am trying so see how much it cost?” She was insinuating I was about to steal the cash!? Worst customer service of all Williamsburg. All the associates were very rude. They don’t even look to you when you are talking to them. Terrible experience ever!

2022-06-26Worst pharmacy ever! My doctor called in prescription then when I go to pickup they say nothing was called in. This happened 2x in a row!! Then they don’t answer the phone when he calls back. Dangerous, highly UNprofessional place. Don’t come here. I use the Duane Reade a block away which is smaller and more limited hours but a WAY more reliable pharmacy.

2022-05-25Cant recommend this pharmacy. Took several phone calls before they got my prescription right and had to wait on line for 45 mins before they picked up. Also got my Covid booster shot here and felt like the staff could not care less. They even forgot to tell me to stay there for 15 mins after the shot to observe I dont get side effects.

2022-05-28I usually go to this CVS around the corner from my job to load money onto my Paypal, as recently as 5 days ago. Something must have changed because tonight (Friday, May 27th 8.15 pm) all of a sudden they dont do that here. That was the response by the cashier on duty tonight, which was verified by the manager on duty as well. Is this something new ? If not, I wouldve preferred an honest Im new and dont know how opposed to telling that they never do that there, even though Ive done it here numerous times over the past 3 weeks. Pretty lame

2022-06-03One of the worst stores in the CVS chain. The front doors for instance, have been broken and have needed grease for the last 8 years. Yeah the employees have put up with those doors skipping/scraping/screeching when they slide open for the last 8 years.Thats nuts, get a new GM...

2022-06-06Didn’t get my meds for 3 days because rude pharmacist wouldn’t double check. They had the scrip the whole time. Go to the walgreens instead.

2022-06-26They don’t pick up phone and are always overwhelmed with more staff at front than in the pharmacy.

2022-02-01The pharmacist accused me of having a false prescription and cut me off at every sentence. Instead of asking me questions, he assumed and harassed. I hope his bad day didnt hurt others as well.
