Greatest Convince - 24 hours 😎👍 its gets five stars for that availability. .... I get notified when my medication is ready for pick up and the staff is very friendly and willing to help. I have been a customer for years and will continue to do so. I like the follow-up through the text. The general store is always accessible as well.
Waited hour n half no one picked phone, picked n hung up.5 hours after prescription send still not ready .Only if they would have just picked phone and give estimated time for pickup, would have been perfect.Changing pharmacy for sure, 3rd negative experience is a charm.Thanks
I was told to pick up my Rx in 30 minutes. I arrived an hour later only to be told that they were out of the medication. No phone call, nothing. The store was disgusting. Garbage and stock on the floor. CVS can harass you all day with texts and automated calls but when you should be notified they can’t seem to get it together. This store has gone downhill. I will use a different pharmacy from now on. Giving 1 star is generous.
I brought my three kids 1, 4 ,6 years old to take flu shot at Deer park cvs. Because I was busy in take care of them, I didn’t reply promptly the questions of an Asian nurse, her name sounds like Sujean. She is impatient and let me feel it is wrong to bring three little kids to her store. I am regret to going to this cvs.
The pharmacy is a joke A prescription was called in for my daughter at 5 PM we went to the pharmacy at 9 PM after going out to eat the prescription was still not ready they said they needed another 20 minutes I dropped my daughter off I went back to the pharmacy where I continue to wait for another hour there is one female tech middle-age woman with glasses that was running like a chicken with her head cut off. Everyone else including the pharmacist were in la la land. The pharmacist which I was told is a fill-in or a floater had his button down shirt unbuttoned down to his solar Plex with his chest hair protruding out of the shirt he had to mix medication liquids together for my daughter I watched him puncture the film caps with a key on his key ring I was very Skeeved out. It is not sanitary and if my daughter didn’t need that medication before going to bed I would have made him make it again the girl standing by the computer in the back was wearing bedtime slippers And was just standing there talking to the pharmacist with her elbows on the countertop like she was hanging out at a bar I am switching to the CVS in Babylon I will never go back to this pharmacy again I was dumbfounded With the low level of professionalism and sanitary hazards made by the one guy with all the schooling and education he needed a hairnet for his chest hair. Never in my life have I seen a pharmacist act or dress like that and I used to work at a private pharmacy in Merrick New York. He was also wearing his mask in correctly
Although normally i would give them 5 stars but the owners of cvs do not care about their workers or their customers. I went there a few days ago to pick up my medicine at the drive thru. I & 4 others were waiting literally 25 minutes. People kept driving off when i got to the window only one person was back there. Now if you are busy or short staff just come to the window and say that. So i was mad. I called into cvs and asked what is the problem. Spoke with a sup stated she will find out the person behind me got out and went inside. When someone finally came to the window she said she just got here i asked for a sup and explained the situation. I was informed that they are understaffed only one person working 4 people b4 me complained. The sup went onto say they will have to shut down the drive thru. I said thats a problem but you must let the customers know put a sign up or if the lady who was in the back had said this there we all wouldnt be here waiting. Im putting this cvs on blast they need to hire more people. To know better is do better. If you cant meet the demans of a 24hr pharmacy like walgreens then cut the hours or loose alot of customers.
Worst worst worst cvs pharmacy. Why isnt district manager seeing this. I needed to pick up my rx but was sent to a this store by mistake Called and was put on hold for 11 minutes but the original store closed in 10 minutes. Wasnt able to pick up my med that I needed. And this JEET guy was saying they are busy however when I checked the popular time line on Google it said it not too busy.(live) When I said Im going to complain that tech named JEET said please do. Like confident that they wont address this matter. Unfortunately Its a 24hour store thats the closest so I have no choice but to come here for some of my meds. 😣 I wish they were treating their customers with respect even if they were on the phone.
For the past 10 years my Wife & I have been going to New Island Pharmacy (Next to Dunkin’ Donuts). Was very disappointed being told to come back every time when we when back to pick up 😖They know us by name …. And we only go there a couple of times a year 😃Very Personal and Friendly 😊
This is regarding the pharmacy department. I’d give negative stars if I could. Been stuck with them for years. TERRIBLE customer service. The managers are even ruder then the employees. Ask them for a prescription, they say they don’t have it. Ask them to check a few times then miraculously it’s THERE. NONE of them do their job right! Never answer the phones or if they do it takes over 30 minutes and if you go in there. Nobody’s there so what’s the wait for? Disgusting place.. I’m sick I have to continue to go here.
They never pick up the phone. Went to pick up a prescription and they insisted I had to come inside and “make a profile” before they could give me pharmacy orders, absolutely refused to do it over the phone or at the window. Such a rude person too.Terrible location. Find someplace else.
Horrible experience with this CVS. This CVS is one of the worst CVS I have ever seen. If there would any way to give below 1star I would give that to this pharmacy. The staffs behavior is so rude and every time my doctor send medicines to this pharmacy they always say they didnt receive. Moreover my doctor needs to send the same medication several times so that the pharmacy can receive it. This is really a worst pharmacy I will never recommended anyone to go to this pharmacy. Avoid this CVS pharmacy because they are really bad in service.
The quality of service is still good. But they need to hire 4 more people to handle the increased customers in the pharmacy. There was 1 woman working the counter and 7 customers waiting. It took 15+ minutes to pick up a filled perscription.Weve been coming to this CVS for over decade. If they dont fix things we may have to go elsewhere.
At the most busiest time of the day at the store they have the least amount of staff to accommodate the customers! Almost a 45-50min wait to pick up a RX!! completely unacceptable! CVS remember your a pharmacy!! Everyone should boycott this store! my next RX will not be going this Pharmacy for sure!!!
Wish I could give zero stars. I’m pretty sure the cashier stole two of my items and when I asked for my receipt she said she sent it email. She never asked me if I wanted her to do that. I checked every email I have and got no receipt. The cashier also seemed like she was stoned. I bought a bunch of things for a birthday gift basket and I’m missing two of them. This is not the first time I’ve had problems here. My parents use their pharmacy and have nothing but trouble.
I went here today to pick up some over the counter allergy medicine and no one at the pharmacy counter seemed to want to help. There was one person helping the only other person in front of me and about 6 people who clearly were busy filling out prescriptions. I waited maybe 8 minutes while the woman slowly helped the other customer then when she was finished she started to walk away without helping me, i moved forward and then she realized I was waiting to be helped. I told her I need some allergy medicine but was wondering which one I should get, she abruptly tells me I need the consultant and points down the counter to another person. I walk over the other employee who is standing behind a very tall counter, I had to basically stick my head in the windowed part of the counter so I can look at her and talk because she wouldnt move closer to me. I asked her for her advice on which allergy medicine would be best for my symptoms and all she says is if you need decongestant theyre all comparable, all we have is decongestant. I said OK and then she, while still standing there, just looks away clearly indicating she was done assisting me. So the only two people on the counter both turned me away. So then I stood by the allergy medicine for a couple of minutes until one of the busy prescription workers just blatantly asked what do I want. I tell her I just want the allergy medicine and then she points me back to the first person, then the consultant chimes in with you need to rung up miss, you need to ring up while pointing to the first person. Now that first person has a line. Ive worked retail since 2005 and I dont think Ive even seen so many people in one section actively not try to be helpful or friendly to a customer. I put back the rest of my things and walked out of the door. Will not be coming back to this pharmacy.
Absolutely atrocious service on behalf of the pharmacy. I will no longer give any business to this location of CVS. Its literally a 10 minute wait on the phone at the very best before anybody even picks up (regardless the time of day). Then after waiting patiently, youre rewarded with an extremely rude and condescending staff. If you ever go inside you can clearly see a lack of enthusiasm, which results in painfully slow service. I would reccomend going to the New Island Pharmacy down the road or Walgreens if youre in the Deer Park area.
The pharmacist, Gabby, helped me today was so helpful and went above and beyond to get my script filled. I had to get it transferred from a Walgreens that didnt have it, but then tried to put it through my insurance without telling me that it needed to be ordered. I needed it within the hour. CVS had it in stock and couldnt get in touch with Walgreens so she called my doctors office and I was able to get the script fast! Awesome service!
The absolute WORST pharmacy!!!! My prescription is NEVER read when I go to pick it up, and even if it is they end up having to re-do because they forget to put my insurance in. I wait in line for 20 minutes on the drive-thru just for them to tell me not ready have to come inside or wait in line all over again!!! They are also extremely judgmental and rude - also they never pick up the phone!
Waited over 1 hour for my prescription, pharmacists are extremely rude, they were filling prescriptions for people that arent even there waiting for it because is the order of the baskets I am definitely not filling my prescriptions there anymore, I was told the little pharmacy next to Lorenzos pizza is much better and they are nice. Absolutely terrible. The pharmacy employees are rude and not helpful at all, as well as unprofessional. I arrived at 9:30 for a prescription that should have been ready. I was told it was not, then at 9:50 I was told it would be 20 minutes. Waited until 10:20 and then was told it wouldn’t be ready for another 20 minutes after a half hour. Only finally got my prescription at 11:15pm. Never again.
This pharmacy department is horrific. Beyond unprofessional considering they are dealing with medication and the communities health CVS should be truly embarassed by the people they have hired. Zero customer service, zero knowledge about anything including medication, they have no idea how to organize themselves. Nobody cares about the fact that sick people are coming to them for a service. I have filled prescriptions for controlled substances and have received the wrong amount of pills! It is so upsetting that due to my insurance i have to use a sub-par pharmacy that cant get it right.
Manager refused to return two shampoos by Kerastase. I have read and understand CVS Store return policy but i am embarrassed at how my transaction was directed. Manager simply refused to return my item. no explanation. I gave him my driver license and he just simply kept stating im not returning the item for you. I feel embarrassed as to how it was directed. I would appreciate a reason: maybe the item is too expensive, maybe the item is no longer selling, anything would have helped. this guy simply just kept repeating im not returning the item for you. i been coming to store #1222 for over 15 years. ive spent thousands of dollars on products i trust and like. to simply state no, not only projects horrible customer service, but also disrespect. im an educated human being and would appreciate a conversation with reasoning. this experience does not give me the incentive to continue shopping at CVS
I needed to get some milk at a 24 hour store, and I knew some CVS have 24 hours locations. This Deer Park branch had free parking. Inside the store was well lit, one of the staff members were very courteous and helpful, which made my shopping a quick one. This location also had a pharmacy which was closed. The 24 hours is pertaining to the rest of the store that has other merchandise and otc drugs without prescription. There is a refrigerator section filled with cold beverages and 1-2% and regular half and gallon milk. The checkout process was very quick I guess at midnight, that is expected and the cashier was ok.
I love it bc its open 24hrs. The employees are always nice and helpful. Im always looking for ways to save and cvs makes it easy, whether they find the best price or take the time to put in the Good RX coupon I found lol it does get busy but I know to go after 8pm! Highly recommend this CVS.
The Pharmacy here is the absolute worst, think twice before attempting to fill a prescription here. The line is long and slow moving, no matter the day or time you come, and theres a good chance they wont have it ready. Ive been told only part of my meds were ready, and that I needed to come back for the rest. A separate instance, I waited in line for 20 minutes for meds that were not ready. They said itd be another 30 minutes and enrolled me in the text service and would text me when my prescription was ready. FIVE HOURS LATE after no text, I came back. Drive through closed with a note on the glass saying Drive Through Closed. Waited another 30 minutes on line inside. CVS NEEDS TO FIGURE THIS OUT! Whatever youre doing is not working.
Tonight, my sons doctor called in a prescription for an infection he received on his foot. The doctor specifically mentioned that it was important that he get a dose in tonight. As soon as I left the doctors office, I called the pharmacy to confirm receipt of the prescription. I had also mentioned that I had my young so with me and asked if they could get me the prescription within a reasonable timeframe as it was getting late and my son was getting sleepy. The technican told me that “she put a rush on it and it shouldn’t take long”. Fast forward an hour an 40 mins of waiting and begging the pharmacy if they could speed it up.... they only responded to me after I called a competing pharmacy close by who told me that they could have my sons prescription ready within 15 mins once it was transferred. Then all of a sudden the pharmacist was able to help me get my son his prescription. Unfortunately, this has become a habit at this location and as a result, I will be taking my business somewhere else going forward!
I wish I can give this pharmacy 0 stars, Ive never gotten so mad for stupidity in my life anywhere they I have with them almost everyday this week. When someone is sick and needs medicine now youd think someone would care. I always give hours In between the time my script is called in and then when I come to get it. 1pm my prescription was called in today. I NEED THIS MEDICINE FOR TONIGHT, 9:20pm my boyfriend waits on a 45 min line to get it after I called first to make sure everything was ok to come pick it up. Gets to the window and is told it is not ready!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!! Tells him he has to get off the line while he calls me bc I didnt answer the first time. I call again as he waits on the indoor line and Im told the medicine is ready maam again absolute idiots. My boyfriend was not allowed to cut the line to get my medicine inside and had to wait another HALF HOUR for them to finally give him the medicine. 10:40 pm and he is finally on his way home. Wish my insurance went through Walgreens or shop rite because Im so sick of this garbage. Wasted our entire night and now Im sick, pissed, and exhausted because people are hired who have no idea what they are doing. The level of aggravation is insane. Maybe someone with power can read this and make some changes because the community is getting fed up with this horrible service and insanity that is a normal thing at the only 24 hour pharmacy around.
The most inefficient CVS in America. I’ve been around the states, and this lands the worst on my list. For over 6 years they take over a day to fill a simple script, the drive through and in store line is at least 15 to 20 mins long no matter the hour, understaffed, unknowleagble associates and over priced.Any other cvs in America is better than this one.
Went in today for a glucose meter. Called about it, looked on line, said there are in stock. Get there and guess what? Nope not in stock. Girl who works there tells me it doesn’t actually keep stock even though it says in stock, low stock and out of stock on line. Cvs you owe me a lunch break.
The worst ! Everytime I go in the drive through theres this old lady name Annette her attitude sucks and the worst part is everytime shes in drive through theres a long wait because she chats so much ! Ill be in a rush she wants to conversate and take so long to get my prescription. the worst cvs ever !
Service is very bad. All the time they made excuse doctor doesn’t send the medicine where they don’t know how to receive the medicine. Even all the time they charge sum amount of money as say insurance doesn’t cover which is false. Horrible customer service. If I can give 0 start for that I will. Don’t recommend.

2021-10-21Very poor response from the lady and the security that was working today (20/10/2021) at 8:45PM.I went to self checkout and scanned my items, it required ID. I waited there 10 minutes and the security kept on saying that help is on the way. The lady working in the register came outside and looked me standing and just went back. No help. I have to cancel the entire order on self checkout and went back on the line. If you can’t manage the self checkout DO NOT KEEP IT. Put a board as out of service.Very poor service.

2022-02-15This pharmacy is the worst. There have been three important prescriptions for my family that werent filled and the pharmacy NEVER picks up the phone. They dont pick up the phone for my insurance company, my doctors offices, or us. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!!! TAKE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS DOWN THE STREET TO WALGREENS THAT ALSO HAS A 24-HOUR PHARMACY!

2022-04-08They never answer the phone, not just from customers but also from doctors. They will straight up lie to you about calling doctors for prior auth - I have had them swear up and down they called my doctor but when I call my doctor to ask why my prior auth wont go through the doctor says they never got called and didnt know it needed prior auth at all. They will lie to your face to get out of having to pick up the phone. during the worst of the pandemic I tried to call them about a prescription to avoid having to go into the store to ask for it and they left me on hold FOR TWO HOURS.

2022-03-17Pre facing this with acknowledgement of the amazing staff that are kind and do what they can with little thanks or support from corporate.Pharmacy lines are incredibly long, and understaffed, their system does not work for renewals and some of my doctors are forced to manually call in some rxs after failing 2-3 times prior.They have recently closed their pharmacy for 30 minutes in the afternoon for a lunch break causing even more of a back up. I am writing this currently waiting for this break to end. I have a bad leg and cannot wait, additionally an elderly man is being forced to sit until they open next to me. They are all working behind the shuttered gate. I can only assume this is a corporate thing while they are forced to work understaffed to serve our community.Love the workers, hate the company.

2022-01-22I received my booster shot yesterday at the CVS in Deer Park on Deer Park Ave. and I think they are rated one of the best the woman that administered the booster shot was awesome and informative I think they are great people over there can’t say enough about them!

2021-10-12Actually 0 star rating. Worst pharmacy ever! After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, a rude woman finally picked up. I was explaining to her that I received the wrong quantity of pills for 90 days and she put me on hold. When she came back on the phone, she disconnected me! I called the store back and asked for a store manager and was told they were very busy and he had nothing to do with the pharmacy department. I explained what happened and that I was in the middle of being helped, but the woman disconnected the line, and that I didn’t want to be put on hold for another 20 minutes. He tried to tell me that he couldn’t help me. I asked to be connected to a pharmacy manager and guess what? He hung up on me!!! I will pay the extra cost to have my prescriptions moved to another pharmacy. Even Walgreens is better than this Deer Park CVS location

2021-12-16On hold for 54 minutes for the pharmacy now. Even called store two times and said I need the pharmacy. This is ridiculous. They do not pick up. I will say the associate in the store was very nice and tried to help but could not. Pharmacy is awful.

2021-11-06SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DON’T GO HERE. If you want to never be able to speak to anyone on the phone, have to go there in person to ever have anything dealt with, and be met with attitude, then this is the pharmacy for you! Today’s occurrence (one of many) was where my physician called in an antibiotic for a severe bacterial infection and left multiple messages. I went there in person and after waiting 40 minutes to speak to someone, I was told “I see we have a few messages on the phone, but the pharmacist is busy and won’t be able to check it for a while”. So I finally left and went to Walgreens down the road. Much better service.

2021-10-24My cousin who is an RN went to pick up my medication for me last night since my car is getting fixed at the dealership. She went on her way home from work at 2:30 am. They assumed she was me. Huge HIPPA violation here. They told her my medication which I last filled 30 days ago in Sept on the 34th day and August I filled on the 29th day. She told her it can’t be filled until November 14th. With a attitude she said “you know we can see you’ve been paying cash for this prescription?” My cousin said to her “you know I’m not Danielle right?”. My doctor has sent in 6 prior approvals since August and all have been denied. I didn’t realize customers aren’t allowed to pay cash when their medication isn’t covered. I have to wait till the day I’m out of medication to buy it.I called back this morning and I was told now it can be filled tomorrow. They also need a police report about medication that was filled at a different pharmacy in Sept

2021-06-10I don’t know about anyone else, but this place is a blessing to me . I woke up this morning with two GIFTS. It was my eyes. I called the pharmacy and of course you have the prompts, at the beginning , and being that this is a high-volume store of course there’s going to be a wait time , but it’s always been worth the wait. Because everyone is pleasant and professional. It’s Nice and easy to be nice . Most of the time you get it in returnSo I have no complaints at this time. ! If I did I would not post it I will speak to someone about it ! I’m quite sure these people are working hard to get things done the best they can. Hopefully. So. God bless and be nice . Things will get better for you 🙏🏽
